Minecraft server!

I have no experience on Minecraft, but I'd perhaps want to learn it some day. Once I have time and enough interest, I might take part in this. The current problem is that the only thing I know about Minecraft is that it's very creative. I also thought the name came from mine, as the weapon, but a 10-year old friend of mine proved that wrong.

If you want to get your hands on for experience, get a copy of the game over at Minecraft.

If you would rather watch it, I would recommend the Yogscast, over on youtube. This is their main channel. They are a UK based group, but have members all through Europe.

If we make a FTB server, I would so be in on that.

We can go about it one of two ways...

We can fork out some cash and buy a server, and then anyone can get the IP for it and join....

Or we can make a Hamachi network and someone can host it. (Hamachi only allows 5 people in a network group, but if, say for example, we had 8 people wanting to play, then the host of the server just makes multiple networks and we all join one of them.)

If we go the 2nd route, I don't mind hosting the server, but it wouldn't be dedicated 24/7.

Hmmm. I guess whichever route we take would kind of depend on how many people are interested. For example, if we take the first route, it would be kind of a waste of money if only a couple of people were regularly on the server.

I don't think I can send any money, either :L

Maybe we can wait to see who's all interested?
