Alright guys, this has been on my mind for quite a while...being as the last few posts of ASB's first catch list have been in the chat thread in the past, I've decided I want to change things up with that list. This time around, I'm going to post the first catch list for 2014/2015 (since the new year is almost around the corner) as a separate topic; that way, if anyone is looking to get a little history lesson, this new version of the list should (hopefully) be easier to locate than previous versions, and also eliminate the possibility of being buried among old posts here.

This is just a start...before I go on with adding more information, I wish to ask some questions please.

First of all, could this be stickied, please?

Second, how many X/Y legendaries are available to catch in the Safari Zone these days, just Xerneas and Yveltal?

If anyone wants to help me with the new list (whether it's X/Y Pokemon or others from previous generations who need to be updated), that would be great. I plan to update the list myself, if the need arises.

I'm tempted to catch a legendary myself someday...currently, I'm on the fence with deciding between Latias and Azelf (basically, I'm looking for a legendary that would fit my team superbly according to certain moves I like to use).

Neat list, KoT! Just gave it a quick skim. I was the first to get Phione here. I think I also have the first Simipour and Grey has the first Zebstrika.

I think I was the first to get a Delphox, and you could check the old giveaway thread to see who was first to get some of the others! As for the XY legends, I'd assume Zygarde is up for capture along with Yveltal and Xerneas, and I'm pretty sure Grey is going after Diancie atm so that means it should probably be on the list too.

Also, since this seems like an appropriate place to ask, what's the stance on unreleased but soon-to-be-released legends like Hoopa? (may or may not want to try to catch it because unbound is a bamf)

It was just an unrelated note...I only mentioned Latias because I noticed she gets a certain move that others can get, that Latios cannot get (Sucker Punch).

Noob question alert. I was wondering, why is there a first catch list? Is there some bonus to being the first to catch a specific pokemon? Or is it more along just a fun list to put up?

Greiger, I believe it's just for fun. Except that now you can see what Pokemon to catch if you want one that nobody has yet, as implied.

One question though. If say, user 1 claims a Pokemon first via Giveaway but gets it approved only after user 2 who got the same Pokemon later, which one is the first owner?

If the Approval Tower decides that, I think it's simpler. Let me help you with a few of the X/Y Pokemon.
