    Reawakened

    Time repeats itself

    Long ago, during ancient times, there was a time not of peace nor neutrality, but of destruction, pain, and grief. Demons had grown in power due to lack of nobility in the world, and thus there was no one who could rise against the Demonica Empire, and the warlords which resided over their own individual land had all the contol. Not only were there these demonic warlords, but there was an even greater Demon who ruled over them as well. He was the main river which spawned the streams of evil into the earth, and the humans were easily overtaken. Soon, other earthly creatures were also taken over- the elves, the sirens, etc… until demons gained true domination. No one seems to stand a chance to even the children of the warlords, and the people were losing hope and faith in ever seeing the dawn of peace again.
    But they still had hope.
    One lone warrior who had no honorable family name to mention, traveled along one of the flowing rivers which flowed upwards from the tree- it did this from the magic of the elven folk. He had no training from a Senpai, nor did anyone really know him at all to where he came from. He had no royal heritage, and even in a world of destruction, a lone warrior with no acknowledgeable name was hardly worth taking seriously. The warrior went only by one name, Kourya, and with this name he could have easily given himself, he trained by the bewitched riverside. With nothing but a sword with strange enscriptions into the silver-laden blade, did he defend himself with. One day, Kourya encountered the young kyn of a demonlord, and in it’s hunger, it attacked Kourya. Withlightening, almost natural, flawless techinique, the lone warrior slaughtered the demon. It was that act, as his blade dripped with the blood of the demon, which awakened the soul of the forest and the river. Together, in harmony, both the forest and the river bestowed their powers and magic into Kourya and his blade, and with that they gave him the destiny of a hero. Whispering in his ears, they told him he was the one- he had to kill the king of the Demonica Empire – Youkaishi.
    So, Kourya began his journey. He was shunned by all the villagers as he passed, for he was still a lone warrior with no family name and honor in their eyes. He would look at them through the bang-like strands of hair which hung over his piercing green-eyed gaze, and pass them quietly. However, in his quest to the Northern Demonican Mountains, where he had overheard that was there Youkaishi reigned, he met a female Elven named Celyai. Normally Kourya would pass all creatures, even Elves, with out another thought. She however, held a sword and a defiant gaze and boldly she stood in front of his walking path. With slight, yet quiet annoyance, he looked at her and nodded in acknowledgement, but gave no further movement. As he tried to go around her figure, she swiftly and gracefully stepped in his way again.
    “ By what name heirs you?” She spoke, her voice soft and song-filled, that of an elf, but a bit more rash.
    “ None.” He shortly answered, but instead of scoffing Kourya, instead Celyai gave her first name and not her family’s as well. She then followed Kourya as he walked, stating that in this day in age it did not matter anyway. Kourya was not very interested in her at first, but as she slowly broke his defensive shield which had grown from the hard hearts of villagers, he began to open up. They traveled together, Celyai not knowing where they were going, but trusting Kourya’s goal.
    Then one night he told her when they were in the heart of the Northern Mountains.
    “ Celyai, do not follow me. What I must do can only be done alone by me, and I would much rather turn back to see you quietly wait in the heart of the wild, then to follow me and face what I must face.”
    She protested, but finally Kourya convinced her to stay and he left to journey into the gaping jaws of the lair of Youkaishi. After a few nights, Kourya finally came face to face with the snake-like eyes of Youkaishi, the Demonica Empire’s Lord. Youkaishi laughed cold-heartedly, stating how he had defeated armies and none have even touched him, and yet Kourya fancied to defeat the Demon Lord. Kourya said nothing, and soon they went into a dance of sword against the powers of darkness. Their battle went on for days, until both were tired… when suddenly things turned. Youkaishi had the upperhand and had Kourya pinned against the wall of the dark, humid caves, and Kourya saw himself facing death itself. Just then, a blinding light of silver fed into the air and the demon lord gave a scream as a sword was embedded into his eye. The Demon lord turned, and there Kourya saw too, was Celyai. Celyai had her defiant gaze again, but Youkaishi was furious, and Kourya could give no warning as the demon’s tail wrapped around her, and instantly fed her poisen, and her body became lifeless.
    Kourya was angry- angry at Celyai for not listening, and angry at the demon for taking away the only one who ever cared for him upon Earth. In a furry which lasted less then an hour, Kourya slayed the Demon Lord.

    With this single act alone, the Demonica Rule weakened, and the dark energy which lingered in the air was shattered and all the demons upon earth became weakened. Some how, villagers, elven folk, faeys, and all creatures sensed this, and easily began to slaughter the demons of the world. But Kourya was not happy, he was depressed… and he felt his world had no more greater meaning than to simply kill and then be lonely once again. He did not want to be lonely, not when he had a taste of what it was like to not be alone…

    The Soul of the Forest and Water however, knew that Time did not intend the reign of peace to last forever. Feeling Kourya’s pain, the Souls of Forest and Water decided to give Kourya another life, so that he may perhaps find a life filled with more than loneliness. So with the help of the Soul of Sky, they trapped Kourya’s soul into a stone tablet, and hid it deep with in a temple in the thickets of a Forest.

    That was in ancient times… before any countries or great Kings were even truly formed. Now, about 3000 years later, time does repeat.

    Deep from the ocean, where many demons have lay hidden for thousands of years ever since the downfall of Demonica, have rose. Humans long have grown dominant over the world, and all other creatures have either been killed off by human’s greed or technology, and the others have gone into hiding. The humans also forgot the time’s gift of magic, and thus with their magic, the Demons easily destroyed all the cities filled with technology, so the humans had no more power, electricity or any technology to rely on. Soon they flourished, until they were the dominant race, and they grew to power so that they proclaimed they were the Demonica Empire again. Of course, no human remembers the ancient past of how this had happened once before, and it seems they have no hope to rely upon.

    A few creatures not of human race upon the earth however, have awakened. They have no power to stop the demons, and they too, have forgotten most of the magic of Ancient times. However…

    Whether it be a human, elven, siren, faey, or any other creature – one of them, will have fled deep into a forest to escape the jaws of a hungry demon, when they will run into a temple. This temple is over run with vines, so it seems there is no opening until suddenly vines give way to show a dark, clammy opening… it looks unforgiving, and any sane person would not enter. But a demon is about to eat this creature, so they quickly go inside. It is there they find beautiful walls painted with as many colors as one mind can comprehend, of the time when demons did rule- although no one can decipher their meaning. But in the center of this temple… is a large, stone tablet with carvings upon it made of silver and gold….

    What Kourya did not know, what the Souls of Sky,Forest and Water did not tell him- was that time would repeat itself. But when time repeats itself, it also magnifies itself. They knew demons would rise again, but when they would, they would be far more powerful and destructive then ever before. They knew that if they sealed Kourya, he would awaken when the Demons came to rule again. But this time, he would only awaken if the hands of a descendant from Ancient times, a destined one, would touch the tablet which held Kourya’s soul. For he would need to aid of destined ones- the creatures, whether they be human or not, choosen by the Souls of Sky, Forest and Water. When Kourya would awaken, no longer would he be human but he would be a Full-Formed Spirit- a Spirit who takes real form, and who cannot die of age. Only when Kourya and the Destined Ones find each other, and worked together- putting aside their differences, would they have the power to defeat the Demonica Rule.

    …and the figure who entered the tablet, felt a calling from those silver and gold carvings. Naturally, he/she reached out to touch it… and as they did so, suddenly the colors from the walls came to life and sprang out, swirling like a tornadoe around the figure and the tablet. Suddenly the colors melted together into one, and formed a figure which glowed brightly, until Kourya suddenly stood there in it’s place. For legend states, when times repeats itself, some thing will be Reawakened.

    ^^

    Name: Sylvaria Trena'lithe Mai
    Species: Half Elf/Siren
    Role: Destined One
    First Enterance: Some where near the temple, minding her own business and not really looking for or at anyone..
    Gender: Female
    Age: Young Adult-looking.
    Appearance: Heere! She looks just like that... hair is like that, her deep green eyes are like that, and her pale yet silky soft complexion. Since she's half siren, she also has black wings which contrast oddly with her fair skin, but the black wings have an almost dusty appearance at the tiips of each feather because the tips fade from black into white.
    Clothing: She wears a loose, long-sleeved leaf-green shirt which has a tiny leather string which entwines at the end of each sleeve so it can be tightened upwards around the top of her shoulders if it gets hot. The shirt reaches to the end of her ribs, where it exposes her abdomin a bit but then she wears dark black pants, but when closely looked at, small, dark green leaf patterns are sown into them but it is so fine that human eyes cannot tell. She has a small, thin yet very strong string-like leather tied around her waist and woven by three strands of it together to make a very nimble belt. Here, a pouch is dangling from the side. Strangely, for an elf, she wears tennis shoes that look like they could ahve made by humans but no logo or name brand is upon them. They are white and non-sporty looking, with slight silver and black patterns upon them. Around her neck she also wears a silver chain.
    Personality: She's well-tempered, and rather not too rash in her thinking. Not very airy or bubbly, she looks at all possibilities and doesn't leave any far-fetched conclusion out of sight. She's rather friendly once you know her, but she's soft spoken at first. Not shy, she just speaks quietly. She's very determined at what she puts her mind to, and rarely does anyone deture her path from it.
    Relationships: Her entire Elven family heritage is unknown, her parents were killed by demons, and for some reason their was a secret in her family so she never knew anyone else related to her, or actually her parents never said anything. So she assumes she has no family... other than her dead parents.
    Weapons: She is familiar with magick, so thus she carries one weapon. It is a spear-like weapon, which has a long silver, rod-like handle which is as tall as she is from toes to chest level. At the end of the handle is a strange cresent-moon jewel which is light blue in color, and seems to swirl. At the top of the spear, is of course a pointed edge of metal (not silver, it's made out of very sharp diamond). Instead of being one blade shapped into a spear however, it has two other pointed edges which come out from the main spear head to form almost a trident shape, except much thicker and more eleborate markings are designed into it. Like animal carvings intwined with vines.
    Magick: She was blessed by the Soul of the Forest, so her elemental energy comes from the Forest. Because of this, she is a partial healer but is still working on her healing abilities because they are far from what they could be.
    Destined: Besides having wings upon her back which causes a lot of attention at this day and age, she does have another odd thing. Her right hand always seems to glow slightly- like an aura is around her hand, but it glows slightly. This 'glow' is slightly silverish blue in color, and is very odd looking if you look at it directly.
    Demonica: N/A
    Minions: N/A
    Other:

    (Around the Temple, a bit farther aways then most characters... but in the same forest as the Temple, minding own buisness... 'tracking' a Demon she sensed.)

    Sylvaria Trena'lithe Mai - Half Elven/Siren - F - Destined One
    ****
    "Rauko... lle bai riman'ala i'yestegiliath tel'ilmen, ten'gurtha soora"
    Demon...you better run before the first stars of the sky, because death follows...

    Sylvaria whispered, silently walking through the deer-run paths of the forest. This territory was rather unknown to her... for the borderline of the 4th Elder Elven Empire ran short of this. Of course... the Empire fell, but this time there was not a 5th to take it's place... the Demons had taken it, and Demonica now... that was issued in order.
    There had been slaughterings, for few Elven folk would ever announce they would give up, for they would rather die. So the war started... a silent war that most creatures did not know of, and the Elvens fell. Those that did survived were either enslaved or used for 'other' purposes to simply make the Demonic minions happy... and it made Sylvaria sick to think of it. Her own Elven parents had died.... she alone, escaped on her own. She didn't know if others escaped...
    It was odd, she had wings upon her back and she knew she was half Siren, her Elven parents had told her, for they would not hide the fact because it was plain to everyone she was not full elven. Her appearance was slightly more toned then the other Elves... a little 'bewitching' said the Elders. Elves were beautiful by nature, but Sirens were magestic and graceful by birth...
    Her real parents were an Elf and a Siren, but she did not know what happened to them... they supposevily died... but how? She didn't know... she was too young. She was taken in by the Elvens... and her new parents offered to care for her. They were very kind... but now, they had been taken away. Now Sylvaria was to seek vengence for her kind, and for her family.
    "Lle n'usinuva min..."
    You will not escape me...

    She narrowed her eyes, until suddenly, with out anywarning... a brilliant flash of white seemed to echo through the forest in less then a second, and then faded. Shaking her head slightly, Sylvaria gasped..
    "Ed'Tel'Arvandorea, mani nae tanya?!"
    By the heavens, what was that?!

    She then took off...
    **

    (I'll be using English once she meets people, she knows the English language and many others... she speaks Elven to herself however.)

    Default *~ ReAwakened ~* ( We start!)

    Name: Joy (Her real name is Joynisasha.)
    Species: Faey
    Role: Destined One
    First Enterance: She'll be running through the forest near the temple, running from the demons she left at the edge of it. If it's okay, can she enter the temple quite soon after Kourya is awakened?
    Gender: F
    Age: She looks around late teens. She's actually at least a thousand years old by now.
    Appearance: She stands around 5'4'' (See Magick), with platinum blonde hair that's streaked with different colors (red, blue, pink, purple, black, green...). Her skin is almost deathly pale, but her lips are always pink. Her eyes are a sort of bloodish color, with a few flecks of black. She also wears a random assortment of jewelry. Rings, bracelets, anklets and she has quite a few ear piercings. She has a pair of almost transparent dragonfly-like wings, that aren't retractable.
    Clothing: She wears a beige t-shirt that is slightly puffy at the shoulders. The front of the shirt is lower down than were the sleeves would make it. It has a chinese dragon in red on one side, and an old chinese building in black on the other. It has two very narrow slits in the back for her wings. She wears blue trousers that almost look like jeans, and brown sandals.
    Personality: She's a dreamer, but always reminds herself to get back down to earth. She can find the weirdest things funny, and can be a slight pyromaniac. She can be very blunt and sarcastic when she wants to be, and doesn't mind being the one to point out a flaw, but usually only jokingly.
    Relationships: She'll easily remark that anyone's cute, or good looking. She's not usually serious about anyone, though.
    Weapons: She has a long-bladed sword, that she keeps in a sheath over her back. She uses a more fencing-like style when she uses it, instead of hack n' slash. The sword is made of faey metal, and the hilt is a silvery, metallic light blue. On the hilt is a design of a western dragon in small rubies, with a crystal eye.
    Magick: It's basically fire-type magic. She can also turn into a more Zelda style of a faey, a small orb of light with wings. She usually only uses this for escape, or access into small areas.
    Destined: She has a very haunting singing voice, that, if she sang long enough, could hypnotise someone very weak of mind. She can't do this yet, though.
    Demonica: N/A
    Minions: N/A
    Other: Eh. When in more nature-y areas, she prefers to go barefoot. She can only hover/rest in the air when she's in her full form. She can't actually fly in that form, but could make it look like she sitting on thin air.

    Joy - Faey - Destined One
    ------------------
    A group of demons cackled behind me, as the paved road turned to dirt, and my sandals thumped against the ground.

    I turned around and tried to summon a few spurts fire, that crackled, but basically just died. Hoots and cackles came from behind me, as one of them threw a spear. I gasped as it grazed my ankle.

    When the road soon became over-run by plants, I soon dashed into the forest.

    I felt a slight hope when I saw the forest, it looked like old Faey territory. Now, however, Faey towns were few and far between, our people never fully recovering from the slaughter thousands of years ago. The last one I visited was at least a few months ago, mostly elders with no heirs to follow.

    I heard a few shrieks come from the very edge of the forest, and I stumbled over a root. Cursing loudly in Human (the language is much more rash than Faey and quite nifty for swearing in.)

    I slowed down to a jog, and realised it would of been much easier to escape in my smaller form. However, I was probably too panicked to even thing about using magick.

    A few of the oldest trees in the forest had ancient Faey markings on the tress, that were basically unreadable. Something corny, your know, like in those weird Human 'movies'. "In this forest we have lived, blah blah blah."

    Oh, look, an old temple, maybe? A shrine, or something.

    Suddenly, a ripple of energy shot through the forest, like an earthquake, and was followed by a blinding light.

    I heard a shout come from the temple, and I decided to investigate further. Whatever was in there, it had to be better than those demons back at the edge of the woods.

    ...I hope.

    {...What is your Wish?...}

    Default *~ ReAwakened ~* ( We start!)

    Yeeeessss!! It started finally! *has wanted to start for a long time* Okay, Gerr first, then Glark.

    Name: Gerr (there should be a last name, but no one cares, and I hate thinking of one.)
    Species: Lycanthrope (I know, it's spelled different, and it's not a werewolf! I made this up from that word, go check the Appearance and Other sections)
    Role: Destined One? (I was wondering if I could be an... OC (Other Character) or something like that. I'd be on the good guys, I just don't like playing leading roles. But if I can't, I'll just cope with the lead )
    First Enterance: Lurking around near the temple, he lives there (not *in* the temple). Remember the vines you mentioned? I imagine they spread pretty far. Enough for someone to find a little cave in it and inhabit it. It's supposed to fit only one person, sitting or crouching, with a square space of 4 x 4 feet. Gee, small, I know. He moves a lot though.
    Gender: Male
    Age: Young middle-aged.
    Appearance: Okay, as I said, I'm not a demon (more specifically not a Werewolf). I actually came up with a stupid ripoff species that looks an awful lot like those lion-humanoid creatures from FFX (which I haven't played so forgive the ignorance). His skin is covered with light-blue fur, he's got a cat-esque nose and matching... animal ears. He doesn't have "hair" and by that I mean hair on the head, not fur (he does have fur on his head). His forehead is covered with two rows of little black horn (very little) and well, his fur is a bit longer on his jawline. He's got the oh-so-classical two-fingered Nightcrawler feet and well... that's pretty much it. He's a humanoid, if you didn't guess. Now that you have looked at this description and said "that description sucks ***", check out how Gerr actually looks like.
    Clothing: Check the pic above, 'cause this'll take some time. From head to toes okay? First: Earring on right ear, gold. He wears a dirty green Led Zeppelin T-shirt (can I use pop culture references like that one? It doesn't mean he listens to that band or whatever, I'll explain in Personality) and it's left shoulder is covered with various pins and buttons. On his left arm he wears a dark blue armband(?) around his bicep like those one Nazi army people used. Instead of a Swatsika, there are the words "Kiss My ***" written on it. Left wrist, a working watch, those big ones (check the pic). Right wrist, orange punk-wristband. Pants: Imagine some skater shorts. Good, now imagine that the right leg covers the full leg instead of half of it. Got it? Good, now cut the knee and join the lower piece with the higher piece with two cords. You got it. One last thing to add, remember that lower piece? Sew a Thundercats patch to it. No shoes. He also wears a tight necklace, hippie-ish (forgot to tell ya).
    Personality: Curious about human world before the demons rised again, he's used to lurk around a city or two and pick up clothes and "stuff" (all his clothes are picked up from different cities, hence the pop culture reference in his clothing). His race has been hiding from humans and never worked magic, so he never felt really special (not that he cares about that). He's mostly friendly and talks a lot, but he's really hotheaded, he'll get pissed out of nothing.
    Relationships: It's not that he's a loner, he could have friends if he *found* any, it's just that the demons make it pretty hard for him to actualy meet people, and when he left his home (where his family and friends were) to explore the abandoned human world, noone would go with him, either they were not inteerested or they were too scared to go. So when noone wanted to join him, he just decided to go alone and see, eventually he'd go back home.
    Weapons: He found a barrel gun in an emptied weapon store, he knows how to use a gun (I mean, he knows that a gun *is* though he's never fired one) and keeps a box with aproximately 30 bullets for it (without counting the ones already in the barrel). He's also got a small knife, but that was just to catch small animals to eat and take off fruit from a tree, etc. Not exactly a weapon since it's not that sharp.
    Magick: None.
    Destined: Right above his ***. I know it sounds bad, but there, in that bone that hurts A LOT if you break it, he has white fur in the shape of a half-moon. Nothing fancy, noone ever made a big deal out of it.
    Demonica: None.
    Minions: Nope.
    Other: Okay, part of the fun of describing Lycanthropes goes here: They don't shape-shift into any animal and they don't shape-shift at all. The only thing that is actually similar to Werewolves, is the fact that in a full moon, they'll turn into humans (only look like a human, they're not human). I probably won't use this, but it was a fun fact I wanted to add to the character's species. You see? Nothing fancy, I'm not overpowerful!.

    ~** Gerr **~
    Sitting inside his li'l temporary cave - for the moment
    "Whoa, the fun to have, to live the dreams we always had" - Led Zeppelin Achilles' Last Stand

    'I wonder if it was always like this, I mean, the whole cave...' I thought, looking at the little spot I found in the forest. The place sucked, it was made for bunnies or something. I could barely fit in the diminute space. Anyway, I was getting bored of it, every other place I found was way better than this one, the only reason I'm staying here is because I can hang my stuff.

    The most interesting stuff I had at that moment must've been that portrait. The one with the yellow-haired human sitting there, smiling at me. Damned, those teeth were perfect. I mean, mine are no aligned perfectly like that. Humans really polished out their flaws. I kept asking myself how did they paint such perfect portraits, you couldn't even see a trace of a brush or ANYTHING at all... and the material was pretty weird.

    But anyway, I was accumulating too much stuff to stay there, I was getting more nad more plates, big and small (though mostly small), discs, and what resembled magazines back from where I used to live. I was going to have to get another box...

    *grrrawwwl*

    'Crap, I'm hungry.'

    I peeked out of the small cave, nothing big was around to attack, and there were surely no demons at sight. Great. What was I supposed to do?

    Something patted me on the knee, a big bunny had jumped on it. Not just any the bunny, this bunny was my 'neighbor', so to say. A few days ago it was pregnant, it looked huge. It wasn't until yesterday that she delivered, about 6 little bunnies I believe. I don't know why she grew fond of me, guess it was the occasional caress I gave her.

    I was just so hungry.

    But I couldn't do that to the little bunnies.... could I? No, I wouldn't have liked it if my mother wasn't there when I was young. I didn't like being hungry either. The bunny looked at me with that lost gaze, like it was trying to tell me something. I think I heard a story that said that really long ago (like, 2000 years ago) Lycanthropes could talk to animals.

    Maybe it was true...

    ~*~*~

    Sh*t. That's how this tastes like.

    This bunny had been really worn out because of that pregnancy crap, it tasted like sh*t, I swear. I tossed the half-eaten bunny out of the cave, trying not to stain any important/shiny stuff from my collection. 'Do baby bunnies taste good?'

    Nah, it's no good without the fur, they were just newborns. So... out to hunt it was... I covered the entrance to my cave with the rock that was once covering it and some dry vines from the floor. That way no one would find my collection. It's better this way. Looking around to see if anyone saw me cover the entrance, I finally took off to find something.

    And I still had that sh*t taste in my mouth.

    ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

    Okay, that was fun!! I'll post for Glark in a new post. In the mean time, have some fun with my chracters! Really. Find out what portrait was Gerr talking about. And also, if you want interaction, go right through and speak to Gerr, he'll probably be indiferent though, he *is* hungry. Unless he thinks he can eat you, he won't be really interested in what you have to say.

    Hey Ele! I'm kind of ignoring your post, wait, not ignoring, just posting before what you posted happened. this applies to Glark only, since Gerr wouldn't even notice if a cow died on the other side of the vines.

    One thing to say about Glark: I'll be writing him in present tense, it's more comfortable for me with his character. Really. So bare with me.

    Heh. *pictures a cow mooing and eating grass* Cool.

    Name: Glark (everybody calls him Shortcake -- check Clothing to know why)
    Species: Stryfe Demon (they're called like that because of their skinny complexion with a round belly from malnutrition)
    Role: Demon
    First Enterance: He's the demon chasing whoever get's to be the Destined that finds Kourya. By the time the Destined finds the temple, Glark will have already lost track of him/her.
    Gender: Hermaphrodite Demon, but refer ti it as a him .
    Age: Really old in human years, middle/latter-aged in demon lifetime.
    Appearance: His skin is crimson, and it feels like someone burned it. Glark's face looks like a skull's, just that where the holes in the eyes are, his skin goes way inside the skull and ends in the tiny little yellow eyes. He's got long ears, which's insides are seagreen (so is his tongue). He's really skinny, but he's got a round belly. Waist down he looks like a satyr, goat legs. A little bit over-exagerated but goat legs in the end. In his jawline, right under his ears, he's got one little horn each side, that points forwars and he's got one on each soulder too, these two point to the sides. He's got a small horn in each elbow too. I tihnk that pretty much sums it up. Oh, he's bald, no hair, but he's got some weird spots on his head. It's time for you to check the picture I drew! Funny stuff.
    Clothing: Again, refer to the picture in the atachments. Head to toes okay? Glark wears a baseball cap, (it's worse that you think), a GIRL pink baseball cap that reads in the front: "Strawberry Shortcake RULES", hence the nickname. He's got a big ring that crosses his chin, and nipple piercings. He doesn't wear anything on top, but he does wear golden ring bracelets (one on each hand). Waist down, he wears (get this) a scottish skirt with belt and all, he thinks it's the coolest thing ever. Other things he carries around: A backpack and one of those bag that goes on your waist.. I don't know the name for them, check out the picture.
    Personality: First things first, Glark's a demon so he's evil. He's also stupid and has a big mouth. But that never got in the way anyway. He's been trying to get a Minion just for himself, all his friends have Minions and he doesn't. So he was going to force someone to become his Minion. Of course, that someone got away and found a temple. He's not exactly lucky either. He likes to listen to Heavy Metal music (found out about music and walkman and all and loves it) and is a huge fan of Metallica, if it wasn't because they're dead, he'd force them into being his Minions. One more thing, he's a smoker, he loves Camel Trophy cigarettes. And he's addicted to Tums.
    Relationships: My character has many demon friends, although they all just pick on him. He doesn't mind, he just wants to kill humans, listen to Metallica, have plenty of Tums and smoke forever.
    Weapons: A Scythe, but it's portable one! Oh yeah, like a pocket knife, the blade can be unlocked and the handle can be unlocked to be folded in three parts that fit perfectly in his backpack. The blade has the Metallica logo encarved to it. Check out the picture I did to see the system.
    Magick: Dark Energy Magick. Like... black balls of dark energy. And... smoke screens. He can power up his weapon to kill, like it's alive. That's because the weapon
    Destined: "I want them SO dead, man! Specially that freaking dumbass that escaped from me the other day, man! They're SO dead, man!"
    Demonica: Spits acid. He does! Besides, isn't it a lot more fun now that he does?
    Minions: He wishes he had any, "One, man, at least one. That's all I'm asking, man!"
    Other: I actually used the other fields to fill in everything. How efficient am I? *is sucked in Other section* Shat. Check out how Glark would sound like.

    "Hahah!! I'm getting my minion today!!" Damn' right I am. Where did that Elf go? I know he was somewhere around here. Where the hell did he go? My favorite song is about to start and he's not here!! If I don't catch him while listening to this song he's going to freaking regret it.

    -+-+-

    Yeah!!! This is what I'm talking about. I'll get that dumbass right here right now, if I could just find him. Man, it's not like I'm trying to catch a damn' PACK of humans, I'm just trying to get one man, ONE stinking minion. That's it! But do I get it? NO. Why? Who the hell knows?

    I turn my cap backwards, unlock the scythe's blade and tune up the walkman. Yeah man, Metallica rocks. I can smell that dumbass somewhere around here, I *know* it's him, I had a pretty good chance of smelling him before he ran away. Chicken.

    In fact, all Elves look like chicken to me, I'd eat them all. It's not like they would make a difference anyway...

    Damn' it's the acid again... where did I leave my Tums? I think theyre in the front pocket... no... back pocket? no... oh, right.

    I take off my cap and pop a pink Tums inside my mouth. I hate the taste acid leaves in my mouth, so I have to pop these after a while. Or all the time. Shut the hell up, I'm not addicted to them.

    I'm just... f*cking lost. Where the hell am I?

    I take off my earplugs and look around, wasn't I here a few seconds before? Sh*t, I'm lost. Man, can't anything go right for *once*? What the hell is wrong with destiny or whatever?

    Arr, I'll find him anyway. I'll just keep looking... right now I'm just gonna have smoke in that rock that looks perfectly awesome to sit on. And look! There's eve a dead bunny beside it! This place surrounded by vines rules. Cigerette? Out. Lighter? Out. Aaaaaaannnnnnnnd smoke.

    Earplugs? On.

    Gerr: Get offa me you freak!
    Me: Whatever

    You wanna check out whatGlark was listening to? It's only the lyrics, since Metallica is against net music, oh yes they are. Remember the Napster conflict? Yeah.... anyway, gonna go to sleep now.

    Default *~ ReAwakened ~* ( We start!)

    Name: Jackal (not actually his name but a nickname he picked up along the way. his real name is Kentai)
    Species: elf
    Role: Destined One
    First Enterance: In the temple. He is the one to reawaken Kourya(with permission)
    Gender: male
    Age: early 20's (really young for an elf but he looks more or less like a human in their early 20's.....more or less......:-)
    Appearance: fair and smooth skin, his ears are thin and tall(like most elves), he has a bold defiant look in his bottomless blue eyes, longish sandy blonde hair(legolas hair only darker), an average build for an elf although perhaps slightly taller than the average male elf
    Clothing: a puffy sleeved white collar tied shirt(swashbuckler style), a black leather vest with many hidden pockets, normal black pants(sleak and they move really well), an elven imitation of black sneakers
    Personality: he's a bit edgy and distrustful of others. He's also mischievous and playful
    Relationships: Although he has no idea he is descended from the same family as Celyai and looks a great deal like a male version of her. He has no surviving family and was cast out of what little remains of elvish society for his mischievous ways so he has no firends either. He has made his living as a relatively innocent thief on the outskirts of human civilization(by relatively innocent I mean he does little more than pickpocketing and stealing discreetly from those rich enough for it not to hurt)
    Weapons: He carries a pair of daggers, one long and one short, which he wields backhanded. He considers them one weapon since he can't use either of them by itself effectively. When he has them both in hand though they are quite deadly.
    Magick: Although his magick doesn't actually have an element he thinks of his magick as Light and Shadow. For now he can't do anything remotely powerful but he can do a lot to fool the senses of others.......a lot of concealment and misdirection, what one might think nothing more than stage trickery(what elves call human magick{in other words magicians like David Copperfield}), it's very useful for getting out of trouble and staying out of trouble but not very practical for a fight.
    Destined: he has a silver mark on the back of his right hand that looks like two quarter moons back to back. the mark burns him when danger is very near(now it gives him little more than a minutes notice of impending danger but on rare occasion under special circumstances it may hold much greater power)
    Other: once a thief, always a thief......even if a relatively innocent one :-)

    Jackal (no one living knows his real name but him)
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    The crunching of fallen leaves, the snapping of twigs, and the soft murmurs of breath echoed through the forest. He ran with all his might but they still seemed to be all around him. There were too many minions for him to stand against. His only hope lay in outrunning them somehow even though there were more ahead of him.
    "Can't get past us all!" a demonic voice shouted from the branches above.
    He barely managed to roll to the side as a twisted and hideous form dropped on the path in front of him. As he rolled back to his feet he drew his two daggers. Some sort of long claw shot towards him and he twisted sideways, deflecting the thing away while bringing his second dagger to bare. It pierced into the twisted mass of flesh with a horrid gurgling sound.
    The twisted mass lumped and fell to the ground. He jumped over it and kept running. As he ran yet another form leapt at him sideways. He simply did a spinning sideways flip to stab the thing in the back and then push it off his short blade with his other blade and fist. He almost stumbled as he landed on the other side of the creature but barely managed to hold his footing as he continued running.
    He wouldn't be able to keep this up for very long. There were still more ahead and to the sides and the ones now behind him wouldn't stay down for long. He didn't have the time to try for more permanent strikes on the foul things he had encountered so far. He had done little more than cause loss of breath and blood.
    "No more of your kin left to save you Jackal!" a new demonic voice shouted from ahead of him.
    He barreled into a small clearing and came to a sudden hault. On all sides of the clearing but the one he had come through were demons. Some small, some large, nearly all mutated beyond any semblance of symmetrical form. He turned to run back the way he had come but was met by a few more forms emerging from the shadows. He was surrounded and seemingly trapped. It would take some doing to escape this.
    "So this is the fearless Jackal?! Quite brave when picking on a single lower demon minion. Not so brave in the face of the horder though, are you?" the voice who knew his name said.
    "I don't start fights with you brainless twats. I just happen to be talented at finishing them when one of you morons fancies me a target," Jackal shot back sharply, his eyes scanning for any holes or weaknesses in their formation.
    "Well, you won't be finishing this one elf! There are only a few of you pure elves left now so we'll get a nice reward for bringing in your head," their apparent leader snarled happily.
    As they all began to move, Jackal leapt straight up into the air nearly six feet and clanked his two daggers together while muttering something too quietly for anyone to hear. As the blades touched a blinding flash of light burst out. It was so bright that everything seemed lost in the whiteness of it. Jackal found the head of a nearby minion with his foot and leapt off of it to reach a low hanging branch. Jackal grabbed it and swung himself up on top of it. Quickly he leapt to the next branch and the next before hopping down on the far side of the clearing. He began running again, leaving the blinded minions behind him. Hopefully that would buy him enough time to get clear of them.
    OOC: I will finish this post tomorrow. Please don't interact with him directly as the next portion of this post will take him into the temple.......
    Ooo, lyrics... Those're fun. O_o
    Name: Jyre Mennoche
    Species: Vampire (pleaseeeeeeeeee...? If it's all right, I'm going with the Rice-type vampires, because I'm in love with them. )
    Role: Neutral
    First Enterance: In the forest, watching people. Whoo.
    Gender: Male
    Age: Vampire-wise, he's not really a fledgling, but by no means an ancient... Sort of just... there. All right, so he's around 200 years. When he became a vampire, he was in his late teens/ early twenties.
    Appearance: 6'0". Hair is longish, black, with only a slight wave to it. Skin is very, very pale; almost, though not quite entirely, white... but almost. Build is thin, though not wirey-looking--more cat-like, and certainly agile. Moves as a shadow for the most part, though can move like and pass as a human easily enough. Facial expressions are controlled easily enough; he can convey or not convey any sort of feeling that he wishes. Fingernails are glassy-looking. Eyes are black and somehow reflective.
    Clothing: Black pants, black "Dress-type" shirt with rolled-up sleeves, with a long, black trenchcoat--it's made of a material that feels almost like canavs, and is of the sort often referred to as a "reverand jacket". Wears black skoes, nondescript.
    Personality: Oh good, too detailed makes me think... He's a bit of a mystery, as vampires tend to be. He can be cold or emotional, depending on how he feels. Conveys his thoughts whenever it suits him, and will often do whatever is necessary in the world.
    Relationships: No one, really... He's not very close to anyone, and his family--parents, siblings--died a while ago.
    Weapons: I really don't know how you want this to be worked with vampire... I'm going to say that since has his powers, he doesn't bother with weaponry. That seems safe enough. O_o
    Magick: Eh, it's sort of magick... Vampires mostly refer to it as a power or, going the Rice way, the dark gift. It involves the ability to take human life by drinking blood, the need to live off of the blood. It also involves superhuman speed--vampires can move undetected by most eyes. Immense strength is granted as well. Also grants the ability to read minds of others and detect them. Can levitate/fly if he uses quite a lot of strength. Is bound to live through blood, however, and therefore must drink it.
    Destined: -----------
    Demonica: He can withstand the sun. It's somewhat irritating to him, but it won't destroy him--not at all.
    Minions: --------------
    Other: There aren't a whole lot of vampires running around anymore... They're not much of a preferred species. Thsoe that are still around seem to be quite difficult to destroy, and are therefore typically left to do as they will.
    Jyre Mennoche ~ Vampire
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    The dark confines of the forest were comforting. Here the haze of sunlight was reduced drastically. In fact, it was nearly nonexistant here. This was as near to night as he could find without heading underground, and to go underground was off of the list of options for the time being. He was here to watch, to listen. He had made a promise to himself that he would watch this, and he intended to keep that promise.
    All the same, it was lovely to be out of the direct sunlight. From here he could hear the thoughts nearby easily enough. The prescenses of the others didn't shock him. After all, he had heard them, had followed them to this place. Typically, the matters between the demons and the others were of little concern to him. They held thier squabbles, usually ending with the Demons coming out on top. After the all, the demons held rule. They had for quite some time.
    Silly humans. Even now, many failed to understand the scale of this empire. They failed to undertsand the empire itself, as well as it's connections to history. That was typical, though. Time passed differently for humans than for many of different speciies. I had heard the stories of old, the lore that was passed down through vampires. Yes, vampires could spread the stories of the past. Though we were not connected by birth, we were connected by what we were and what we required. We became of the same sort and in doing so fell into what was almost a family line of vampires.
    The point was that what we learned was passed to those who were newly created. I had heard stories of the old rule of the demons, of how they had fallen. Somehow, these recent whispers that I had been hearing were connected to this. There had been stories, very old stories, that spoke of a repitition of time, or a reoccurance of times past. Most stories were jumbled horribly, but the truely important accounts were clear enough. The oldest ones spoke of this reoccurance, of a gathering of power.
    Beings with great power were indeed gathering around the area. Many of them knew little of what they could do--it seemed that none knew anything of what they would be brought to do. Perhaps that was better, though. Often, those who were to change the path of time would fare best if not given a choice.
    For now I could watch them. Perhaps it'd be better if I only watched. After all, this wasn't my fight, was it? No matter what, this was certainly going to be interesting.
    Jackal {real name Kentai but no one knows it}
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    His breath crashed in his chest as he ran. He had been running for so long now. It seemed like they had been chasing him for days.
    As fast as he might run they kept catching up. Or rather new groups of them showed up ahead of him. Their numbers seemed to multiply the farther he ran.
    If it were just an ordinary footrace he wouldn't even be winded yet. This, however, was a fight for several. Every mile or so he had to slow down to deal with a few of the demon minions and it was starting to take it's toll. His nimble bladework, limited magic, and flat out speed had kept him ahead of them so far but soon enough the constant scuffles would leave him too weak to continue. It was a battle of attrition and he was losing.
    As the sounds of the demon horde closed in around him he looked back to see where they were. He turned back just in time to run smack dab into a slab of stone. He fell back on his butt.
    He looked up and to his amazement stood a stone temple, long ago covered in vines. He would swear it had not been there in front of him only a second ago. Yet, there it was as plain as the sparse light shining through the canopy of trees.
    Perhaps this would be his salvation. Maybe they would not be able to find him if he ducked into the ancient place for a bit. Just till they moved on.
    He had no time to think on it as he heard a crash of branches behind him. Without hesitation he threw open the stone door and used all his strength to slide it shut behind him. One would think it would be completely dark inside but there was an eery glow coming from the next chamber.
    Being the curious fellow he is, Jackal couldn't resist. Timidly he walked towards the faint glow. As he entered the next chamber his jaw dropped at what he saw.
    The walls were covered with intricate carvings in gold and silver. An ancient and unknown story wrapped its way around the chamber, explaining things long forgotten even to the elves. He could hardly understand any of it but he was compelled.
    His hand traced along the wall, following each etching carefully.
    If he had known what it would bring he may have stopped himself. If he had any idea what fate had befallen him he would have turned and left the chamber right then. He did not though and as his hand came to reast on the golden etching of an unknown warrior his entire life changed forever.
    The gold and silver on the wall in front of him sprang to life. It swirled about like a hurricane. Soon it formed into a tornado. Then it started to take solid shape. Until finally there was a man standing before Jackal who looked frighteningly like the warrior from the etching on the wall.
    Jackal stared in amazement at the man in front of him. Even in the elven lands before he had been expelled he had never seen a feat of magic like this. It was truly the most awesome display he had ever seen.
    "Ed'Tel'Arvandorea, mani nae tanya?!" he muttered quietly under his breath.

    OOC: well that was a crappy post.........but, things can get moving now. you guys should probably wait till B4 posts as Kourya before jumping into the temple though.

    Okay, time to keep RPing, since Bulba isn't posting for the moment, I'm gonna add up something for Glark and Gerr. Right now, it's going to be the opposite way it was last time. Glark first, then Gerr. EDIT: stetic stuff fixed.

    --++ Glark ++--
    "I don't know but it RULES!" - Glark's answer to the question "What the hell's Strawberry Shortcake?"

    "F*** this, I'm going home." Remember when I said this place was črfect? I was wrong, my walkman ran out of battery five minutes ago and I already smoked half of my pack of cigarettes. And not even a soul dropped by to become my stinking minion.

    Gee, it's not like I'm asking for the freaking world, man.

    Whatever, I just want to get the hell outta here, this place is way too positive for my taste. I mean it, it's got a lot of light coming through the leaves, and even though it's kind of swampy, it doesn't smell that bad. In fact, this place fits in the description of nice, I believe there'd be poeple living here somewhere, hiding. Waiting to be trapped.

    And become my MINIONS!!

    Yeah, that would be cool. I walk past the rock I was sitting while folding my scythe and putting it inside my back pack. I'm about to get around this huge maze of vines, when all of a sudden, a couple of deformed elves corner me against a wall of vines. Like, what the hell, man?

    "Like, what the hell, man?" I say to these obviously minions, who the hell do they think I am?

    "You see a bloody elf running around?" One of them says, his voice raspy.

    "Well, you dumbasses are here soon, aren'tcha? I lost track of him about fifteen minutes ago." I say pushing one of them away, too close for my taste. I must admit, I hate the way minions smell, if--*when* I get my own minions I'll make them take a bath every now and then. Humans specially are fetid.

    How do I neutralize the smell? A smoke. One of the minions looks at the cigarette as if it was gold, trying to inhale as much smoke as he could from it. Go figure, an ex smoker.

    "He disappeared from our range of sight a few seconds ago," the other says, what the hell? You mean I lost track of this guy fifteen minutes ago and you stinking minions were running right behind me a second ago? This is freaking impossible, man!

    "You hoping you can find him?" I ask, trying to look unnerved.

    "Yes indeed!" The one smelling my cigarette said.

    "You want this?" I ask him, showing the cigarette. Yeah, f*** me if I'm giving out a collector's edition Camel Throphy. F*** me.

    "Yes, please!" he gets excited. This is annoying me, I charge a good amount of acid in my mouth and look at the minion, mouth full of 'saliva'. I hold the cigarette in front of his face, and oblivious to the green smoke coming from my nose, the dumbass grab the cigarette, and I spit a good load of acid in his face.

    The other reacts instantly, trying to hit me in the head. He does, actually, I'm not that fast. But right after that I spit some acid in his eye, and in a second he's grabbing his face, crouching and screaming.

    You know what? Maybe I don't want a minion that much, these people are stupid. Oh whatever, spitting that acid left my throat sore... I grab a green Tums and pop it inside my mouth. Green ones aren't exactly my favorites.

    -+-+-+-+-

    At home...

    "What the hell?" Everyone's running around, minions are going nuts. I swear, sometimes I wish I could just grab one and take it inside my place. I stop a minion who's running and ask him what the hell is going.

    "They say it's been awakened!"

    The hell?

    I lose my grip on him easily and he runs away. A minute or so of walking around, and everything is calmed again. I don't understand what the hell is going on, man. But I'm going to find out,, after all, I may not be recognized as such, but I *am* a stinking Lesser Demon Lord.

    "I'll ask... what's his name?" You know, now that I think about it, I don't know the Lord's name. I bet Orestes knows his stinking name, he's a queer anyway. I just shrugged the Lord's name off and started walking toward his castle.

    "I might aswell get new batteries on the way there..."

    ^^ Yaaay! I can posties now!

    Name: Kourya
    Species: He was a human, but now he is a Full-Formed Spirit, or a Spirit with a form who can die.)
    Role: He is the one Reawakened. ^^
    First Enterance: He will be in the Temple which harvested his dormant Spirit, with the person who awakened him.
    Gender: Male
    Age: He’s thousands of years old, but he looks to be like a young adult.
    Appearance: (I have pictures of him, which I will add later.) He has slightly sun-touched hued skin, but very slightly. He has a very athletic and very toned build of a fighter. His eyes are a striking, almost eerie-piercing green, and when he looks at you, it seems like he can see right through you which can unnerve some people. His hair is sort of fluffy, yet it isn’t extremely long (think of Tooya’s hair from Ayashi No Ceres, except a bit more fuller and fluffier.) He has two long, thick strands of hair which hang down to about his collar bone on each side of his head, that go in front of his ears. He also has bangs which slightly brush over his eyes, and his hair color is a deep, rich, deep auburn-red color. Upon the left side of his face, upon his chin, is a tiger-like slash paint marking which blood red in color, and underneath his eye is a strange marking as well which looks some-what like a symbol for an animal footprint. Upon his chest, where is left pectorial muscle is the similar marking as well.
    Clothing: Well, since he hasn’t lived in Modern Day he still wears the clothing he wore back in Ancient times. This consists of slightly baggy pants, which are very airy and move/flex easily for swift movements of fighting. They are black in color with a tinge of deep deep violet if looked closely and are bound to his waste by a deep blue sash. His shirt is very strangely designed, for it covers his arms with long sleeves which are rather tight to his arms, but it does not cover his chest and rather is attached to a collar around his neck which is made out of painted bone, with slight knotches in the bone. The sleeves however are the same tint as his sleeves. Around his waist not only is the sash, but a simple leather string bound around his waste with one jewel which gleams sky blue, in the shape of a pure crystallic diamond.
    Personality: He’s slightly reserved, but he talks and is rather smooth and kind sounding when he talks. His whole air about him is rather the ‘mysterious and silent’ type. He is slightly humble and far from arrogant, but he’s confident when he knows he is right. He’s down to earth and not much of a dreamer or bubbly by far, and he’s highly tolerant of others. Very respectful towards women, he doesn’t take kindly to those who treat others sharply or unrashionally.
    Relationships: Heused to care deeply for Celyia the Elven who died, but since she died he seems to be slightly sad. He still cares for her in his heart, and he doesn’t believe he’ll ever feel the same way for anyone again. He wonders why the Souls of Sky, Forest and Water would want to give him a gift of another life so he won’t be lonely, because he believes he still will be lonely. He has no living relatives otherwise. (Anyone can have relationships with Kourya. ^^)
    Weapons: He has a hand-crafted sword. The handle is made out of the bone of a demon, but wrapped around it is several small strips of leather bound in a very eleborate and detailed fashion. Capping the end of the handle is a smooth, black stone. The blade of the sword is silver, and embroidered into the blade are red-jewel-like carvings of some ancient language which is unreadable to anyone in this day and age.
    Magick: Kourya was never able to harness magick, until he was given the powers by the Souls of Forest and Water, they day he slaughtered his first demon. His magick come from the air around him, although it is not Sky-based elemental energy. He takes the energy of life forces around him to create magick… some times taking his own life force when the air is dry and not much life is near. He does not take so much so to kill a living creature- cept for some plants if needed be, for his magick will stop withdrawing energy from life if it will kill. He can even take some life force from minor demons, but the bigger demons (such that some people will be playing) can block out his life-drawing magick skills so he cannot take it from them.
    Destined: N/A
    Demonica:N/A
    Minions: N/A
    Other: If introduced to candy, Kourya will take a liking to this new creation of ‘food’.

    Kourya

    " The Past... carved in stone, we never can forget. It creates the Future and stimulates the Present."

    **

    Standing before three glowing, faey-like lights, I bowed my head and clutched my sword as I fell to one knee. The Souls... what did they desire with me, I never truely would know... but I knew they wanted to keep me alive for a very long time.
    Why... they said, or from what I could gather from non-verbal speech, was because of Time. Time will repeat... that was what the wind whispered. "You must aid the future world..." That was what the water soul splashed in it's waves... " You will help the Destined Ones of the future to defeat their own demon." The Forest Soul always gave more complete replies.
    I didn't understand... demons again? I had just defeated them...
    At a horrible cost...
    I was alone now, and utterly bitter... I didn't want to do anything. Maybe die, so I could... just not have to deal with the pain anymore.
    But that would be to easy... and thus, unacceptable.
    Besides, the Souls had greater plans for me...

    The light....

    A tingling sensation had grown around me... and I felt as though I was being stirred from a very heavy, long nap with a dream included. A dream of my life... and yet I knew what had happened, I knew what was real.

    Soon I blinked... and a small glow from inside a small room- I remembered the room, it was the temple.
    The glow casted all around me... and as soon as my vision cleared, I saw ... an Elven?
    Yes. It was an elven... I could recognize the handsome, beautifuly-carved face of an elven anyday. They were always perfection... their appearance, and this one was no acception, although he looked worn and rather tired. His black, raven-like hair was rather ruffled and messy, as his wild blue eyes gazed at me with some thing that I could fathom as shock.

    Myself... as I gazed at my own legs and arms... I looked the same. Still had my night-sky pants... my sleeves with out a main torso-cover. I quickly ran my hand through my hair... yes, my hair was even the way I remembered it. Bound by a leather strap around my shoulders- held in it's sheath- yes, there was my sword, waiting as well.

    I withdrew a breath... I hadn't done that in a very long while. Bending my knees a little bit, I felt as if life poured into me once again and ... it made me feel... refreshed.
    But it was then that I felt the horrible realization... I could feel evil pulsating through the worlds, I could sense the auras of the demons... yes, I had been Awakened. Awakened because Time... I understood now. I was entrapped because Time would repeat, and the Demonica Empire would rule once again... but what I did not understand, was why 'Destined Ones' were needed or involved. That I would have to find out...

    The Elven muttered some thing in it's own tongue, and I blinked and looked at it suddenly... my piercing green eyes focused. Looking at him made me... twitch, but only very slightly. He reminded me of Celyia. I didn't like remembering her... it pained my heart to much.
    Shaking my head suddenly, I opened my mouth to speak as I gazed at the Elven.

    " Whayieerisaht."
    Even talking... I was rusty..
    The Elven blinked, as if it were suddenly looking at an animal making a very strange noise. I shook my head and held out my hand in front of me to indicate to wait a moment. I moved my tongue around in my mouth, opening it slightly until finally I felt my tongue had excercised enough.
    " Do you know, What year is it?"
    I said to the Elven, and the Elven understood... and for that, I was thankful. Elvens usually knew many other languages... and even in... what ever year this was, he knew.
    " It is the year of... 2011."
    His voice was clear and for a male, quite beautiful. Like most Elvens again... but it pained me some what- so much like Celyia.
    I clenched my teeth, why... why did every little d*mn thing remind me of her? I had to get over her... as cruel as it sounded.

    " By the Souls... it's thousands of years... " I said to myself, as I tapped the stone floor with my foot. I looked to the Elven,
    "Do you know who I am?"
    He shook his head... and I frowned.
    "So even proficies die... "
    With that, I sensed movement... sharp, sudden movement outside of the Temple. Blinking and narrowing my eyes... I suddenly withdrew my sword as it glistened in the glowing temple. The Elven also withdrew his weapon as I spoke...
    " Well Elven, I'm not sure who you are either... but some thing is coming in and sensing the Evil which reeks upon this world, it more or likely could be a demon..."

    (Alright, anyone can be the movement... a demon character, a Destined One... any. ^^)

    Default *~ ReAwakened ~* ( We start!)

    I was going to post this yesterday, but my net played me out...

    Name: Seraphic Aeryn Tsukikage
    Species: Human (Werewolf)
    Role: Destined
    First Enterance: Hiding from plain sight in the forst near the temple, in her werewolf form
    Gender: Female
    Age: about her teens or early twenties
    Appearance: Something like this. Her eyes are very light blue, a contrast to her waist-length dark hair, which is either loosely tied or braided.
    Clothing: This one doesn't follow the picture... She wears a purple T-shirt with faded jeans. She also has a single earring dangling from her left ear, which stays with her even when she transforms, and a silver moon-shaped pendant on a black leather cord.
    Personality: A little shy with most people, because not everyone would love having a werewolf for a friend, but once she's aquainted with anyone, she gets friendly. She appreciates friendships and will go at any lengths to help her friends.
    Relationships: She's kinda distant with her parents, because they don't really like haveing a werewolf for a daughter. Becomes good friends with Gerr (if he doesn't mind), because they're kinda like outcasts in the world of humans...
    Weapons: A sword with sapphires encrusted in the hilt and ancient runes engraved along the blade. She found it in the temple, her temporary home when she transforms(she keeps a spare set of clothes there too)
    Magick: Mainly wind- and water-based. Because she's a werewolf, her magic is ruled by the moon. Therefore, she has certain special powers, ie, can read minds, forsee the future, control animals and even extinguish light (create and manipulate darkness)
    Destined: Whenever someone makes eye contact with her, they suddenly get a cold feeling, no matter how hot the weather is(unless their magic is ruled by the sun, ie has magic based on the elements fire and earth). Most people immediately conclude that she is anti-social or even evil, and refuse to get close to her. Maybe that is why she doesn't have many friends.
    Demonica: N/A
    Minions: N/A
    Other: Has two white wolf as pets. She keeps them in the forest. Their names are Kaze and Yue

    -=[Sakura Aeryn Tsukikage]=-

    The evening air rustled the leaves on the trees, blowing on my skin, pushing back my fur. It was the full moon again, a lovely evening to spend basking in the moonlight, replenishing my magic. The magic came with the bite I received when I was much younger. It was useful at times, but I'd rather not have it, and not be a werewolf. It was an occupational hazard, growing grey fur and long fangs once a month.

    I raised my head high and let loose a long, deep howl. Only a few hours till dawn, then I could go home... Over the years, I had learnt to accept what I was, recognising the change which occurred every full moon as part of my life, but somethimes, I found myself wishing I hadn't been so innocent, so naive at that time. It was due to my ignorance that I had to go through so much trouble...

    I got up from my position sitting with my back against a tree. Might as well get some supper. On all fours, I sniffed the ground eagerly, picking up the scent of a family of rabbits. I bared my fangs, and saliva immediately dripped like long silvery threads from my jaws. I closed my mouth immediately. Drooling was part of a werewolf's life, but I still found it a disgusting habit.

    I followed the trail stealthily. It lead near the temple where I had stored a spare set of clothes. There in the distance, was a solitary rabbit bumping around, nose twitching, head turning here and there, as though in search of something. That wasn't my problem. I moved up, ready for the kill. Pouncing on it, I sank my claws into it's flesh. It squealed and strugged to get away. Fat chance.

    Half a minute later, all movements ceased. I clamped my jaws into the warm flesh and ripped a large chunk of meat off, and chewed slowly, my snout stained with blood. Not bad, I thought, swallowing and taking another bite. But could've been better stewed...

    I finished my supper, and began a lazy prowl around the temple. Nothing to do till sunrise, might as well take a stroll.

    Two figures were silhoueted(sp?) agaist the moonlight within the temple. Strange. No one ever entered the temple these days. Rumours ran in the town that spirits resided in the temple...

    Curious, I closed in for a better look. Both seemed to be speaking in a weird toungue. One of them had long, pointed ears; an elf. The voices soon ceased. Two weapons flashed in the moonlight. They had sensed me! I tensed my muscles, ready for a fight, thought I doubted I would have any chance against an elf.

    As soon as I passed through the door of the temple, they attacked. Crying out into the darkness, I sank my already bloodstained jaws into the human. He yelped in pain, but managed to pull me off. I felt the coolness of a blade beign pushed against my throat. Noises behind me told me that my two 'pet' wolves, Yue and Kaze had arrived, a little too late...

    "Demon," the human croaked. He sounded as thought he had not used his voice for ages. "This Earth reeks with their stench." Demon? My anger flared up. Who was he to call me a demon.

    I turned my head swiftly, and wrenched myself out of his grasp, and stood legs apart, ready for another attack. Blood stained my fur. He cursed. I forced myself to calm down.

    "Who are you, and why do you call me a demon?" I growled.

    Heh, never got around posting for Gerr, so I'm gonna do it now. Also, wasn't the temple supposed to be *hidden*? I would've made Gerr sleep *in* there if it was public XD.

    ~** Gerr **~
    "Maybe Later" - One of Gerr's buttons that has a condom drawn on it.

    It got dark after a while, one would figure, I know there's a full moon in today, but it must/ve been cloudy or the trees weren't letting the light come in properly, because my fur was still with me. I love my fur, and I hate full moon nights.

    'This is just fun-freakin-tastic.' I thought, looking at the trash right beside my rock. Someone had been somking there, a lot, and eating candy... what the hell? Ihad thought the place was unknown to people, noone ever came for the two weeks I stayed there.

    Whatever, at least they hadn't entered in my cave.

    Or had they?

    Crap, I moved the stone out of the way and found all my stuff there, safe. Good, I think if there's noone around I'll be able to cook some of these squirrels. I was pretty proud of the fact I had found a frog in this swamp, two weeks and not even a toad jumped by, I was starting to miss them. I picked up some of the newspapers I had with my stuff, put them around a bunch of sticks I had brought and went to look for my lighter. Where the hell had I left it?

    I searched around my pockets with no luck. I lifted some magazines and a couple of mugs and finally founds it inside an ashtray. It was yellow, on the top it read Zippo and on the bottom -in some funky letters- it read Yellow Submarine, I have no clue what a submarine is but it sounded really cool, so I kept it.

    I finally lit up a pretty decent fire and procceeded to put the squirrels on a stick to cook them, but being oh-so-lucky, I just had to hear movement when I was about to get a good meal. Now I had to put out the fire and...

    I looked at the back of my hand, I could see some brown hairs popping out from it... crap, just what I needed. I tried to shove them off but ended up shoving off more blue hairs than brown ones. I hated transforming into a human, all my fur fell off and I felt f***ing naked. Besides, my clothes would get full of hair and it'd be itchy.

    Okay, so my clothes are always full of hair. Big deal.

    I put out the fire quickly and hid my stuff the best I could, then procceeded to grab my gun and put it behind my back, held by the waistband.

    "Who's there?" I called, then hit myself in the forehead (spreading more fur in the way), you're not supposed to do that when you hear footsteps. Apparently, whoever was out there didn't hear me, because I didn't get a direct answer from anyone. I walked for about two minutes that seemed like hours and finally realized what was happening. You see, when I'm in my normal shape, I can hear pretty much anything, the reason for my huge ears. If you're... really far away to the west and you talk to the east, I'll hear. It'd take some effort but I'd hear.

    But when I'm transforming... this happens. I get mixed up on what's close and what's far, far away. If there *was* someone around there walking I would have noticed. But I didn't, so I decided to just turn around and go back to my cave.

    Except I didn't.

    Because. This. Godforsaken. Vampire. Was. Standing. Ten. Feet. Away. From. Me.

    I know, the irony.

    'Crap crap crap!!' I thought 'AND I'm turning into a human! He'll think I'm an easy bite! Craaap!'

    I was freaking out, I had to go back to my cave as soon as possible, you couldn't kill vampires with just a damn' gun, it worked pretty well with demons but vampires? It was most likely to just piss the guy off and maybe slow him down a little. Where the hell had I come from? Freaking out wasn't helping my orientation, I had to get out of there as soon as I could and I couldn't find the--

    Oh s***. The guy's looking at me.

    If it's okay, I'm gonna take another character....

    Name: Neferti Yruasa
    Species: Sphinx Demon
    Role: Demon Minion (She doesn't like it.)
    First Enterance: She'll be yelling at someone one of the underground levels of the Tower.
    Gender: F
    Age: Mid-twenties.
    Appearance: She's humanioid. She's tan, and has Egyptian-like eyes. She has two wings that are sand-colored from her shoulder blades, and her nails are very long and quite sharp. She also has sharp canines. Her face is slightly feline-like, but it's not very noticable. Her body is built like a cat, and she also has a lion-like tail, cat-like ears. She's quite attractive, and her hair is a sandy blonde color, and her eyes are pure black. She also has a coat of tan-ish fur, and is about 5'7''.
    Clothing: She wears black, almost skin-tights pants, and a white halterneck top. She's always barefoot, and wears black leather gloves. She also has a tiara-sort of thing, with a black crystal that hangs in the middle of her forehead on a silver chain.
    Personality: She doesn't get angry easily, and always has a smirk on her face. She can be very manipulative, and sometimes gets angry when she doesn't get what she wants. She has a twisted sense of humor, and doesn't mind going on dangerous mission-things, or getting beat up. She's very strong, and is quite confident in her actions. The only thing that really shakes her up is chocolate. She can't stand it.
    Relationships: Rather sadly, people hit on both of Neferti's forms. It's disturbing. Otherwise, not really.
    Weapons: She has a staff that's taller than her, and has a sharpened black diamond on the end, so more like a spear. It's very sharp, and can cut through stone. She thinks it too pretty for that, though. The staff is silver, with black ribbons wrapping around it.
    Magick: She uses black Magick, which is basically a Magick that feeds off hateful feels. It's enery draining, but quite powerful when she wants it to be, and if she can find a good host. The crystals on her tiara and her staff often work together.
    Destined: N/A
    Demonica: N/A
    Minions: She can turn into a male version of herself (er...are they animals? Does it count? Please? *big eyes*). He's called Tith, and looks basically the same, but is more manly (not really. He's a pretty boy!). He has a sun-like mark on his forehead.
    Other: She carries a lyre with her, that she can play quite well. She also doesn't appreciate being a 'Minion'.

    If that's okay, Bulba, I'll post for her later. ^-^;

    Jyre Mennoche ~ Vampire
    -------------------------------------------------

    I had been leaning easily against a tree when I caught the scent of something nearby. Something… No, it was someone. Someone with a very strange scent and an unusual mind. Hmm, that wasn’t entirely a shock as there were others gathered near who were not human, but this was one that I’d not often felt. Perhaps I’d never felt this before but, ah, there was some part of me that reflected on a distant memory. Maybe some time long ago, I had seen one of these… What this was.

    How very interesting. Was this one a part of the current goings on, or was he here by a pure coincidence? Was there coincidence in this world? Sometimes it seemed as if there was precious little, if indeed there was any.

    Musing, I started toward where he was. Allow the being hear me first, or appear out of the shadows without warning? All right, I was feeling fairly generous at the time. I walked almost as a human would, failing to avoid the crunch of the sticks underfoot and the shuffle of fallen leaves. My steps were quiet, barely discernable even with the sounds of nature on the forest floor, but the noises were picked up. This creature must have had some sort of developed hearing, because I sensed a change in the being’s bizarre mind; there was a sudden alertness throughout the body.

    Right then, there was the warning. Back to silence, and now ready to close in on the being. I glanced at his vague outline as he scanned the shadows before I stepped toward him. He hadn’t seen me before he turned toward what I realized must have been his dwelling--a cave--and saw that I was standing almost next to him.

    As he froze in his tracks, his mind racing, I studied him, his form. At a first glance, he looked to be human; my senses, however, told me that he wasn’t. Indeed this was a male, his facial expression conveying some amount of confusion, with an assortment of clothing that one was hard-pressed to find nowadays. Legally, but which seemed to appear quite often. I preferred the dark simplicity of black, yes, but who was I to choose what others wore? It was really quite interesting to see what they chose.

    All right, if this guy wasn’t human, what was he? My eyes narrowed slightly, studying his form as if there were light enough to see for miles. There wasn’t, of course, but a vampire is ever-so-blessed with the ability to see much more clearly in the night than any human can during the day. Whoo.

    There it was. Of course, I was a fool, wasn’t I? The blue hair--nay, fur--that was currently clinging to and then falling from his skin spoke the truth that should have been obvious. He was a… What were they called again? Lycanthrope? Right, that was it. A lycanthrope, bloody hell--they were less common than vampires, and much less known. Lucky him.

    “Good evening, Sir,” I allowed a slow smile to cross my face, drawing it more maliciously than I felt was necessary given my mood, but was quite necessary given his current expectations. The ruddy bastard was worried. Hell, he was freaked out. Ah, perhaps with good reason, but I wasn’t about to do anything to him. Why bother? Nothing save the blood of a human is truly substantial, after all. Ah, but he didn’t know that yet, and it was entertaining to watch him.

    I took a few steps forward, then started to reach for his neck. Ah, Gods, even the neck of a creature other than a human was lovely to look at, that what ran within it was never quite the same. Reaching m fingers out to brush his neck, I laughed shortly as he drew back, his eyes narrowing suddenly. Hrm. He was either very frightening, becoming angry, or something like a mixture of the two.

    I’d played with him enough, then? Yes, yes, fine… And I really hadn’t done much. After all, he was a grown man--creature. He could handle himself.

    Drawing my hand back, I bowed slightly, then raised my eyes to look into his. “Forgive me if I frightened you… I have a tendency to forget myself, and an inclination toward impulsive ignorance. And you?”

    ^^;; Kourya's a bit rusty... but that should not last long.

    Kourya

    " Rememberance is the key to victory and destiny. It also leads to the pain of the past."
    **

    It startled me...
    I felt like a fool, as the creature glared and spoke of human tongue, asking who I was and why I had called *her* a demon. I could recognize her as a female... and the Elf stood to speak, but I held up my gloved hand.

    " Allow me. Excuse my rusty abilities to sense, the evils reek with in the air of this future day and age and I have been in slumber for quite some time."
    AT this remark, the wolf looked rather confused as it's two companions joined it. Narrowing my eyes, easily their auras now flickered clear...
    Strange, the Elven and the Wolf matched to have slightly golden-tinted auras while the other two wolves had only animalistic auras of white. The Wolf was obviously not a demon.... but..
    " You are not a wolf, correct?" I spoke clearly now, the language fully coming to me and I spoke smoothly and rather calm.
    " ... answer my questions first."
    She spoke, growling slightly as I bowed.
    " I am Kourya, a name that I am to believe has long been forgotten. I am sorry I mistook you for a demon, for I have long been asleep for thousands of years and my senses..."
    I remembered how she bit me so easily before...
    "... and my abilities, are a bit rusty. But I feel them returning."
    With that I wavered my gleaming sword in the gentle glow the temple gave off, and throwing it in the air, I soon caught it by the handle as it came down and nodded. Yes, I was feeling better by the minute.

    However, the Elven and the Wolf-like she-creature seemed thoroughly confused... but I simply ignored it. I wasn't really knowing of all answers right now... and I was more interested in knowing their names.
    " What of you... and you too, Elven of Pure. What are your names and... what brings you to awaken and come to the temple?"

    Some thing told me however, that these two... were a few of the things that the Souls called, " Destined Ones"... it was eerie to sense it as well.

    " What of you... and you too, Elven of Pure. What are your names and... what brings you to awaken and come to the temple?" the human named Kourya. I took a long look at him. He seemed trustable, even though his story was queer...

    "I am called Sakura Tsukikage, "I said in my low, rough voice. "I have the err... fortune -" A small smile played on my lips, as much a smile as a werewolf can manage - "to be bitten by a werewolf when I was younger, thus becoming one myself..." I paused, replaying my childhood days in my mind's eye... "And what about you, elf?"

    Jackal
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    He looked from the human Kourya to the werewolf Tsukikage. This had been the strangest night of his life. He had met werewolves before but few of them had seemed quite so civil. He had seen only one other that hadn't tried to eat him.
    "My name is....." he began but hesitated. It had been a long time since he used his real name. And these hardly seemed trustworthy companions to him. He would not share his name with those he could not trust with his life. "I am called Jackal."
    "You cannot behave so wrecklessly Master Kentai! Lord Raiken would not approve of your rash actions," Beneval chided him quietly.
    "Why should I care what my father approves of?" Kentai shouted back.
    "Your father is the last noble lord in all elfdom!! You must show him proper respect!" Beneval countered, no longer quietly.
    "Respect?! How can I have respect for someone willing to just sit back in our little safehaven while demons crawl up from the earth? How can he do nothing Beneval?" Kentai continued shouting, his anger growing.
    "We are as safe here as we have been for ages now. Lord Raiken is protecting our kind by remaining neutral and keeping our people in this haven. Here we are safe from the outside world," Beneval answered back heatedly.
    "Safe? And how long do you think we'll be safe if we continue to let their numbers grow? If we don't intervene now while we still have the numbers the demon empire will grow. It will not be long before they realize the threat our people present to them. As soon as they have the numbers they will strike and wipe us all out! If my father can't see this then he doesn't deserve to rule!" Kentai replied sharply, his shouts now drawing an audience from the main reception chamber.
    "Is that what my son thinks of me?" a new voice boomed from the door.
    "Father!" Kentai turned to face the elder elf.
    "In remaining here within the confines of our kingdom we are protected. By attacking that demon patrol you have brought unwanted attention to bare on our kingdom Kentai. Your irresponsible deeds may cost the lives of many elves," Raiken's voice boomed with authority.
    "Well at least I am doing something father! Sitting in here with the consuming belief we will be safe is pure arrogance. And even if we are safe, what of the rest of the world? You would have us let the entire world fall to the demons and do nothing? You are a coward father!" Kentai boomed back with almost as much authority in his voice.
    "ENOUGH!!" Raiken shouted loud enough to silence all the gasps and whispers and murmurs from the growing audience of elves. "I will not be talked to in such a way by my own son!! If you desire so strongly for elves to interfere in the outside world then that will be your fate! No longer will I permit you to interfere in the sanctity of our kingdom, endangering your own peoples lives. You will be banished from this kingdom Kentai. You will never again be allowed to enter the haven of the elves lest you lead back the evil you so fear!"
    All was silence. Kentai looked at his father, who stood there fuming. No one could even manage to breathe in that horrible moment. So it had come to this.
    "Then no more can I carry the name of my heritage, Kentai son of Lord Raiken last of the High Elvens. No more can I call you father," Kentai said quietly, a single tear streaming down his face.
    He turned and walked slowly out of the chamber in silence. A few stray gasps and whispers followed him as he walked. His chest was held out and his head up. If we was to never again set foot in his home, the place of his birth, then he would leave it walking with pride. He knew he was in the right. He only hoped his father would realise it in time.
    "Jackal, is it?" Kourya eyed him oddly.
    Jackal shook his head as if waking from a dream. For a moment he had been lost in a memory. He looked around and took everything in as quickly as he could.
    "Yes. That is what people call me," Jackal answered slowly. "Now, does this temple by chance have a charm to prevent evil from setting foot inside?"
    "Not to my knowledge," Kourya replied carefully.
    "Then might I suggest the three of us continue this discussion elsewhere? When I entered that temple there was a sizable horde of demons pursuing me. I should think they'll be along very shortly and unless you think they're after a friendly chat we need to move on," Jackal stated plainly. His sentence was followed by a noise of movement through the bush. "If not, then good-bye. Pleasure meeting you both."
    With that Jackal took off through the woods. There wasn't time for him to sit and wait for them to make up their minds. He had no intention of hanging around to be caught and decapitated. If they were curious about him enough they would follow.
    OOC: thought I'd introduce a bit of Kentai aka Jackal's past. So you know he is about 20 in elven years, not human.
    Kourya
    " A hundred days have made me older... since the last time I saw your pretty face."
    **
    I watched as the Elven named 'Jackal' ran off. I highly doubted his true name was Jackal, all Elvens had much more beautiful and intricate names then that. All of them... I may have been asleep for thousands of years, but one thing I knew - Elves were stubborn. They wouldn't have changed their ways so easily even if 10 thousand years passed..
    "Well, let's follow Sakura." I said, looking to the wolf next to me with her fellow wolven companions.
    She had a look of slight distrust... and I bowed slightly, my reddened, long and soft-looking hair wavering as I did so.
    " I am a Formed Spirit, blessed by the Souls of Forest, Sky and Water. You have no reason to distrust me, for I am upon a mission to destroy the demons in your time. I have no time to further explain this... but I promise, as soon as we catch up to the Elven 'Jackal', I will explain it all."
    With that I tore off... and soon I found myself in a highly densed forest. STrange... even after so many years, the forest still had that sense of wisdom it had in Ancient times. I gazed back, to see indeed the she-werewolf was following, and with that I gave her a true smile and began to run.
    I had to catch up to Jackal... for some reason, I believed he and Sakura were part of the Destined Ones. Of course, I had no idea how many there were... but it couldn't have been mere coincidence that one of them awakened me and the other-
    Wait, yes, Jackal HAD to be a destined one. The proficey... the Soul of Water told me that the only way I'd awaken was if a Destined One placed his or her hands upon my stone. Yes... he had to be it, he had to be the one who awakened me.
    I had to find him then...
    The aura of demons reeked all around me, and it instantly reminded me of my past. Reminded me of all the battles I had fought long before... how it felt when my blade sliced through the demon's skin and caused their purple blood to spill and spatter into the air and then the smell of them as it escaped into the air.
    But who did it remind me most of all?
    Celyia...
    Youkai... that Demon Lord, she had helped me kill him when my life was in danger, and it was she who had to die for it. Why did I become the choosen one? With out her... I would have most likely failed, and even though I had won... it felt like I lost. She... she was the only thing that I really cared about or felt for. And that was taken away... now, in this 'new' life.. would I meet the same fate? If it all is supposed to repeat itself? Was it inevitable?
    Suddenly a movement in front of me caught my attention, and I immediatly sensed the demonic aura about the creature not too far ahead... and then as I ran I saw Jackal. He was unable to run further... he had to fight, since this demon was a little hard to pass.
    It was a large Serpent-like demon... massive, with glowing dark black energy surrounding it and the overall shape of a snake, except with for, dragon-like legs protruding out from it. The tail of the demon was extremely large... and it blocked Jackal, and I could see why it would be hard to pass. The head of the snake was like a cobra... and it was snapping at anything that tried to move.
    "Jackal!" I gave a shout, as Jackal didn't turn to see who it was for he was busy trying to avoid the demon. Sakura growled as she caught up for we all stood near Jackal, as the demon stared us down. It seemed to smirk... as if wanting a meal.
    "I suggest you run!"
    Suddenly another Elven appeared... but this elven has strange black wings, which faded into a white... and her long, golden-blonde hair flowed down her back, as she clutched a spear-looking object and glared at teh demon. Strange... she didn't seem to be a pure elf, but she didn't seem to lack any qualities of an elf either.
    " I'm not running!" I announced, as the demon made a move at me but I quickly dodged it and my sword swiped into the air, cutting into the demon's head lightly. The demon hissed in annoyance... as I looked at them.
    " I was ReAwakened not to run from them, but to destroy them. Now, if you stay and fight what is hurting your world... then try to cut off this guy's head. Don't go for the heart, he's too fast and protective of it and you'll die if you try."
    With that, things went into motion...
    Sorry I haven't posted, but I hadn't found a good part to give my character an entrance. And by the way, his species is Demonaic--yes I did that on purpose. Demonaic are very human-looking Demons, and generally smarter than regular demons.
    Name: Recnamorcen Dragolas Ikagaide (No one knows his name, they just refer to him as 'lord')
    Species: Demonaic
    Role: Demon Lord (Please?)
    First Enterance: Sitting on his throne in his Tower (Which shall later be named)
    Gender: Male
    Age: Elder, approx. age unknown
    Appearance: 7'6" tall and very muscular. He has very long black hair tied in a triple braid that goes down to his knees, and he's got tanned skin that shows his muscles off. He looks like a very big human except his eyes are black with flecks of red and he has very large black feathered wings sprouting from his back (Yes, feathered). Many women find him very handsome and he finds human women attractive in many ways.
    Clothing: He wears a black leather vest (Like the vests on the Mortal Kombat ninjas) with metal plates inside of it and black denim pants, black leather gauntlets, and black combat boots, as well as a large black leather trenchcoat that hides his wings (Barely).
    Personality: Dark and secretive, cold and calculating, he's a very dangerous adversary. He likes to find out as much as he can about people before doing anything to them and he does it without caring. He rarely shows any emotion and the only emotions he shows are rage and lust.
    Relationships: None, however a very evil human female would be a relationship he wouldn't mind having.
    Weapons: A very large sword that would take any human's full strength to even lift. (I'll try to get a picture up later)
    Magick: Dark Magic (Black and Red energy that he can form into different attacks--he can send it to his sword to either empower it or use the sword as a channel for his energy, he can also create different types of blasts from it, such as black flames and red beams. He can also use a Fissure attack that will send extremely hot air and millions of splinters of rock into the air and the target).
    Demonica: He is telepathic, and is very fond of transmitting a feeling of incredible fear to anyone within a 1/2 mile of him.
    Other: Doesn't kill women when he leads an attack, but instead chooses to enslave them to keep his soldiers satiated in more ways than one, and that keeps them obedient.
    Lord Recnamorcen Ikagaide
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    As I sat on my throne, my pet Dragon Lizard (OOC: If you've ever read Anne McCaffrey's Pern books, you'll know that it's a firelizard, however, instead of coming in Gold, Bronze, Brown, Green, and Blue, these come in Gold, Silver, Bronze, Black, White, Red, Blue, and Green. His is Black) flew into the tower and landed on my shoulder, before using his rather primitive telepathy to show me what he saw on his scouting.

    "Hmm...two people enter the cave, and three exit the cave. If I'm not mistaken, that is the cave Kourya was sealed in wasn't it? Yes, I believe so," I pondered for a bit. Kourya's been reawakened has he? Well if that isn't disgustingly good I don't know what is. And it's definitely not good for me. What shall I do about this? I sighed and leaned back in my throne, then closed my eyes and concentrated my telepathic powers. It wasn't usually good for me to search for people so freaking...well...good, but it could be done. Once I found Kourya's mind, which was shielded, so I couldn't enter it, I sent him my message--consisting of three words: "Welcome back Kourya,". I smiled evily and began to laugh. The laugh that was more than frightening enough to make people flee, and it felt good.

    Name: Aeiliun Veoluranyos (Aei for short) He prefers Lord Veolu than his full name.
    Species: Demon
    Role: Lesser Demon Lord
    First Entrance: Killing things in THE forest, namely small animals, for his enjoyment of course.
    Gender: Male
    Age: Oh about a few thousand years old, but looks to be middle-aged. He was around in Kourya's time and remembers him slightly.
    Appearance: Middle-length black hair with a dark forest green tint to it, about to his shoulders. His hair is very silky and he can be seen running his fingers through his hair. He’s about 6’6 and has medium-sized muscles. His skin is a pale gray tinted with a dark forest green and his hands and legs have a few small blotchy spots forest green spots covering them. His eyes are dark piercing green and his pupils have a gray center, which is noticeable lighter than the black surrounding it. He has a black fox ears on his head in the place where foxes would have them not where humans have their ears. These ears are his only ones and he has none on the sides of his head. His hands have retractable claws where human’s nails would be and he also has sprouted a tail, as he has gotten older. His teeth are very long a pointy and he uses them often, along with his claws.
    Clothing: He wears a dark green cloak that sweeps the ground. Under it he wears black dragon hide armor that covers his whole body and sticks out from under his cloak sleeves. The cloak clasps are seashells, but black and color and seem not to belong to the sea. Over his feet he wears dark green combat boots and also some dragon hide gauntlets on his arms. He wears a black headband set with jewels around his head and a long emerald chain along with seashell pendants scattered about it (Black of course).
    Personality: Doing evil things bring him cheer but otherwise he is angry most of the time. He has no regard for any rules and prefers to follow his own path. He is very forgetful and forgets many important things. When he has missions assigned he prefers to do them quickly and quietly, since stealth is one of his strong points. He has a high intelligence and loves reading books oddly enough. He tends to be very sarcastic at times and is not that concerned about anything.
    Relationships: He doesn’t really care at the moment.
    Weapons: He carries a long rapier with him at all times. Dark Green runes are encrusted on the blade and the hilt is encrusted with jewels. He prefers to use quick attacks and surprise when using it and also may infuse it with a little magic, and if all else fails he may turn to his claws and teeth.
    Magick: Dark Magic (It appears black and green)
    He usually prefers sending blasts of dark energy at his foes or infuses his sword with it. It also allows him to use some illusionary tactics. Namely invisibility and a spell that creates a horrid image in the foe’s mind that can stun them for different periods of time or kill very weak enemies.
    Destined: N/A
    Demonica: He can create storms that he can send up to 50 miles away which consist of small tornadoes and acidic rain infused with his magic, creating large storms takes out a lot of his energy and when using this can control the storms to his will until he can’t hold them anymore. They do not affect him. The weakness of the storms lies in his seashells, if broken it will dissipate the storm. If needed though he has some replacements.
    Minions: N/A
    Other: He detests vegetarians and people who whistle.

    Umm sorry for no posty yet, but my comp got a virus and broke down and my parents were too lazy to take it to get fixed. Anyway here goes it.

    Aeilun Veoluranyos
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    I gave my hands a gentle wave towards some birds sitting on a tree, a green and black orb of energy appeared out of nowhere sucking them in and spitting them out a scrambled mess, feathers everywhere mixed in with dark red blood. I gave a little chuckle (OOC: By chuckle I mean that he can't quite manage a full evil laugh) and another wave combusting a raven flying among the thick trees. I really shouldn’t be just walking around I should probably be in some cave or fortress with some minions. Whatever… I didn’t have anything important to do anyway.
    As I stood a minute drawing in the smell of the blood of the birds and chuckling a gust of wind brought me a different scent of blood, that of a demon. From the whiff it wasn’t much, a slight cut par say but the thought of it was interesting enough. I followed the scent to a point through the trees.
    I focused my eyes on the spot a minute and far away through the thicket the scent floated and at the end a couple of dots, one attracting the attention of my nose. If I wasn’t mistaken it was the scent of…. no it couldn’t be. But my nose had never failed me and the scent struck a red flag in my mind.
    And if I was not mistaken I was near the cave where Kourya was sealed. Could it really be the one who had destroyed the Demonic Empire before was reawakened. Well I guess I’ll just have a look see. As silently as I could I bounded to a tree as near to the spot as I could, it probably wouldn’t matter, and Kourya would sense me anyway. But I doubt he moved as fast as me, but when in doubt sometimes you can be most surprised. I moved back at least a couple… maybe more… yards and waited. This may be entertaining, but I doubt the demon would be a match for Kourya but who were those others that accompanied him. They seemed to give off an aura that seemed so… good. I would just have to be patient, things always played out themselves in time. Why ask questions and be impatient when you can wait and get all the answers you need. Plus I had plenty of time being a demon that didn’t die very quick.
    After checking to make sure I wasn’t downwind, since I could be forgetful sometimes. Its not like Kourya would sniff me out, he'd be more likely to sense me or see me, but whatever. I leaned against the nearest tree and once again attempted to wait. Damn this dumb armor for not having pockets, my hands would feel mighty comfortable inside them at the time.
    Mwaahahaha! Umm… Nevermind.
    Default Finally a post
    Eep, need to post or heads will roll! Heh, been pretty inactive for a few days (day? hours?), or whatever, I'll just post XD. Nobody said anything about the temple being known to everyone though o_O;;
    ~** Gerr **~
    Looking Human now *points to Sakura's point about a full moon*
    "Choose DIY and wondering who the f*ck you are." - Mark Renton - Trainspotting
    "Good evening, Sir," he said after taking a look at me. Sir? What the hell? Did I look like someone half respectable? And what was the point? Did he have some freaky way of killing his victims with class or something?
    'Just shut up, Gerr' I told myself.
    Crap, I'm petrified here, I can't even move. Is it one of his superhuman powers? Mom once told me Vampires were great enemies with Lycanthropes back in the day. She said it was all one big war. Back when we mattered as a race. Now we're all pretty much disposable. Anyway, I heard Vampires can take control of minds, like, if they look at you right in the eye, they could hypnotize you or something. Maybe that was what was happening right then, maybe that guy was putting that spell s*** on me.
    Nah, I'm just s p*ssy.
    He got closer into my 'personal' space and I was starting not to like this in a whole different way. He looked at my neck seductively, like he wanted to grab a bite from it. That's probably what he wanted, but it was just weird to me. He then reached for my neck with his hand, and actually tried to caress it.
    Caress my freaking neck.
    I backed off as a reflex and he sort of smirked. Evil kind of smirk. I narrowed my eyes at the thought of that guy biting my neck and... running his tongue through it. Yuck. This was exactly the kind of things that went through my mind when I was afraid or in danger, completely out of context randomness. So maybe I was just afraid, or maybe I was in huge freaking danger of getting bitten by a Vampire.
    Drawing his hand back, he bowed slightly, then raised his eyes to look into mine. It still was pretty disturbing for me when he did, but he spoke, “Forgive me if I frightened you... I have a tendency to forget myself, and an inclination toward impulsive ignorance. And you?”
    So did that mean he wasn't going to drink my blood and howl to the moon and whatever? Wait, Werewolves were the ones who howled at the moon. Bastards. I mean, what a rip off.
    "I--I... I just... you know... I'm like that." I said, forcing a smile to see if he relaxed, the f***er was actually enjoying the sight of me freaking out. Twisted bastard. Shaking the fear out of my body, I tried to forget all the fear I had for that guy. I could get rid of less than half of it, but that should've done the trick.
    "Hey, I'm Gerr." I said raising a hand to be shaken "I'm a Lycanthrope--crap..." see? More than half of my fear for this guy made me reveal I was a species of ancient rivalry. Why would I do such a thing? Don't you remember when I said I was p*ssy?
    "Yes, I noticed the blue hairs falling off from you." he said, then shook my hand as I had excpected a few seconds ago, now I was just plain scared again. But that sentence, I dunno, it was kind of relazing to me, as if what my mother once told me was just bunch of crap. Oh wait, most of the stories my mom told me *were* a bunch of crap.
    I rolled my eyes, "Yeah, the full moon and all, I hate looking like this." I said pointing to my human nose, then pointing to my ears, "but what am I gonna do about it..." There was a moment of silence for a second until I just had to say something.
    "Say, you wanna go back to my place? I mean, you know, you want to go *there*?" I said pointing to my open cave "I was about to cook something to eat and, well, maybe you want some?" I started walking slowly toward my cave. He smiled, I didn't know if it was from mockery or from actual delight, but he shrugged and followed me to the cave.
    ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
    "Do you smoke? I have Marlboro, Camel, Nevada, Euro, Eco, Coronado... I think that's it." I looked up at him from my crouching position at my cave.
    "No, I don't smoke." he said. Damn' another mistake.
    "Do you want rotten squirrels, a frog maybe?" I pointed to the stick that contained the once bug-free squirrels I had caught "Hmm.. guess not. Say, I didn't hear your name before, could you repeat it to me?" I took out my lighter and started to build a fire, I'd be damned before I'd let a good frog get eaten by freaking bugs, cooking the meat would kill the f***ing bugs.
    "I didn't tell you my name before," the vampire chuckled, he was probably being amused by my lack of control around him. I couldn't help a chuckle come out too and so I stopped trying to build a fire.
    "I just, I don't get a lot of guests, y'know? So I wish I had something else to offer to you other than just stuff." I was babbling again, and he didn't even know what I meant by stuff. There was no way I could get any lower than that, I should've just shut up a long while ago.
    The vampire just dismissed my comment as babble, or so I thought he did from the way he moved his hand and then rested his body against the round rock that was once covering the entrance to... covering my whole cave.
    "Don't worry about it," he said and then added "and my name is Jyre." Oh right, I didn't know his name until then. Damn', I hate it when I get so damned nervous. I had an excuse for this one though, he was a Vampire. Not a human or whatever, he was a Vam-pi-re.
    "Cool." I nodded, smiling and quickly went back to building a fire.
    ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
    So, that was productive. It took me a pretty long while to come up with this post O_o;; I had it half-finished for several hours before I could get it done. Weird. Anyway, gonna go see if I can write anything for Glark later.
    EDIT: I wrote "it took em" instead of "it took me". Stupid me XD.
    -=[Sakura Aeryn Tsukikage]=-
    " I was ReAwakened not to run from them, but to destroy them." Kourya said. "Now, if you stay and fight what is hurting your world... then try to cut off this guy's head. Don't go for the heart, he's too fast and protective of it and you'll die if you try."
    Too fast? There wern't many creatures which could beat a werewolf at full speed. This demon must be really fast for Kourya to advice such a thing...
    "Right, the head," I muttered. The demon turned its ugly head towards me, hissing and spitting venom. The acid burned into my skin. I ignored it.
    "That the best you can do?" I snarled, powering up my hind leg muscles and springing onto the demon's snake-head. "If so, then too bad for you. I'm gonna make snake's head soup out of you!" My long claws dug into his eyes. The demon screamed and trashed in pain, its mouth wide open, trying to bite me. It's fangs found my left hind leg and clamped down on it hard. Poison entered my blood vessels. In retailation, I sank my razor-sharp teeth into his neck.
    A spear wedged itself into the side of the demon's mouth. Two daggers followed, sinking into the demon's throat. The demon opened it's jaws and released my leg. It's head shook from side to side vigourously, trying to shake both the spear and me off. Unable to maintain my grip, I fell, landing on my side. I got up immediately, my legs shaking beneath me. The poison was taking its toll.
    The demon looked around blindly; I had scratched out its eyeballs. I squinted, refusing to subcumb to the venom. Kourya was running towards the demon, sword raised. With one long swipe, he cut off the demon's head clean. Blood and acid spurted onto the party.
    I looked around, trying to look normal. "Everyone okay?" I asked.
    "We are, you're not!" Kourya replied. "That was a stupid thing to do, you know. What were you thinking?"
    I shrugged. "That's the way I am," I mumbled. "I'll be okay soon anyway, when I return to my human form... Speaking of which..." I gazed up at the sky. "It's almost dawn. I should go..." With that I darted through the trees towards the temple, as fast I could go on my bad leg. I could hear Kourya shouting behind me, trying to follow. I pushed myself faster. It was important for me to get back into the temple before sunrise. I wasn't about to run through the forest naked...
    I finally reached the temple, well ahead of Kourya. Already, I was transforming back into my human form. Yue and Kaze were still there, probably waiting for me to return. I waited for the transformation to be complete, before puting on the pink top and faded jeans I had put there yesterday, before I transformed. Pausing only to scratch both wolves behind the ears, I left the temple, purged of poison from the transformation. Yue and Kaze followed me out, just as Kourya arrived...
    Gah...vacations from the computer SUCK!
    Name: Maiku Konnetsu
    Species: Half-Elf
    Role: Destined
    First Enterance: Right next to the Temple, hiding in a tree; he follows the people coming out
    Gender: Male
    Age: Young, for a Half-Elf (middle-age in human years); acts like a teenager
    Appearance: Fairly tall, slightly muscular, with a smooth, yet pointed face, slightly pointy ears; blond hair that's kept short, and icy blue eyes
    Clothing: usually wears slightly baggy jeans and a slightly loose long-sleeve T-shirt, currently dark blue jeans and a forest green shirt; always has either a bandana, headband, or baseball cap on to cover his ears, currently a black bandana.
    Personality: He usually wants to do stuff alone because people either don't want to help or go back on their word halfway through helping. When he gets good help, though, he's more open with that person; he usually thinks situations over before acting, but isn't totally useless in a crunch.
    Relationships: Nobody...he's kind of a loner, but he really wants a friend.
    Weapons: Bow and Arrow set. The bow is a deep mahogany, carved with ancient elven runes which Maiku can read, although he hasn't told anyone what they say. The quiver is made of the same mahogany, with a solid sliver base, and also with carved ancient elven runes. The arrows are, amazingly, not made of mahogany, but rather a hard oak tipped with a silver arrowhead and backed with deep green and red feathers. The quiver, over time, will continually refill with arrows, though it takes a while per arrow at first.
    Magick: Spatial magic, can move other objects at will. He can also aim with amazing accuracy (whee~ elven accuracy). His quiver is partially linked to his magic in that it slowly, but continually refills with arrows.
    Destined: Besides normal discrimination because he's a Half-Elf, he seems to give off an aura that makes people know, without looking at him, that he's Half, and instantly judge him on that.
    Demonica: N/A
    Minions: N/A
    Other: whee~ I have some strange addiction to Half-Elves XP
    ----------
    Maiku
    ~~~~~~~~
    Demons. They were everywhere, now, it seemed.

    I gripped the tree I was standing in a little tighter as I watched the dog-like demon sniffing the ground, trying to find me. Fortunately, I had arrived in this tree by jumping from other trees, so it was wasting its nose. With nothing but the bright moonlight above, the demon should have had the advantage. But I was not entirely human.

    Slowly, I pulled an arrow out of my quiver. I held my hand over the green and red feathers so as not to attract any other demon's attention. Slowly, I notched the arrow and pulled it back. I looked over the demon, searching for a weak point. Seeing as I couldn't find a heart of any kind, I took aim at the neck. In a split second, the demon was writhing with an arrow lodged in its neck.

    "Heh," I muttered, watching the dog-like creature rolling around, unable to get the arrow out of its neck. It started struggling harder, and ended up rolling like a log away from my tree.

    A little less tense than I was a minute ago, I took off the green baseball cap I wore, revealing not only my blond hair, but also my pointed ears. I sighed, relaxing in the tree, and thought about my blessing and curse. Sure, half-elves like me live longer than humans, but we are shunted from both worlds, human and elven.

    Movement!

    With lightning reflexes, I was up another branch in the tree, my cap being securely fitted over my ears again. Carefully, I watched. I heard the deep breath of someone running, and when I looked carefully at the subject, I saw that he was a pure elf. I gripped the tree more tightly, keeping myself still.

    Fortunately, he did not look at the tree I was in, but rather at the stone building that I had not noticed a minute ago. How I could not notice was beyond my knowledge. But regardless, he threw open the vine-covered door and rushed in.

    Had he been of any other species, I might have chanced to follow him. But seeing as elves were more hating of halffies (my name for half-elves, based off the humans' own "trekkies"), I kept in my tree.

    A long howl tore my attention from the temple. I looked out into the moonlit forest and saw, interestingly enough, a wolfish creature running through the trees. I watched as it found a rabbit "dinner" and then noticed the temple as well. As it went in, I heard a scuffle, some shouting and growling, before it was quiet again.

    The quietness was enough. I heard a low hiss a few feet away, making its way through the forest. It wasn't exactly silent, though, and a particularly loud crash through a bush sent the elf back out the temple doorway. The wolf was right behind. And then what shocked me most was another person coming out of the temple.

    I stopped. Only two characters went in...where'd the third person come from? I watched cautiously from my tree as the wolf attacked the snake-like demon. I watched as the three hacked away at the demon, aided by another entity. Someone who had just appeared.

    I looked up and studied the newcomer. A humanoid, with black wings fading to white, had descended a small ways away from the party. As the sun started rising, and the wolf creature headed towards the temple again, I crossed a couple trees until I was almost right above the winged person. That's when I noticed the slightly pointed ears...ears like mine! She was half-elf too! But where had she gotten wings like those?

    "Aaye, elendil." |Greetings, elf friend.|

    I was so startled at hearing Elven words that I nearly fell out of the tree. I looked down to see her standing there, looking up at me with a smile on her pale face. It shocked me more than it should have to hear her speaking Elven. Gripping my bow and the arrows in my quiver, I nimbly jumped out of the tree, landing a couple feet away from her. I straightened up and looked down at her. She was only a few inches shorter than me, but she was so amazingly elf-like I couldn't believe I didn't notice it from far away.

    "Aaye," |Greetings,| I returned. "Amin ildura ele lle n'ala." |I don't believe I have seen you before.| It felt weird, having the Elven words slide out of my mouth. I had not spoken Elven for years, mostly because there were no other pure-elves or halffies to talk to.

    She was about to reply when one of the others gave a shout. Startled, we turned to see the two guys and a new girl coming towards us. I figured, in the second it took them to get to us, that the girl was once the wolf, and therefore a werewolf. She now wore a pink top and some faded jeans. In fact, between all of us, only the person who seemed to come from nowhere (OoC: Kourya) seemed to not fit into society, clothes-wise. I doubt very much if...damn, I hadn't asked the halffie girl her name. However it looked like everyone was about ready for introductions, anyway.
