Name: Joy (Her real name is Joynisasha.)
Species: Faey
Role: Destined One
First Enterance: She'll be running through the forest near the temple, running from the demons she left at the edge of it. If it's okay, can she enter the temple quite soon after Kourya is awakened?
Gender: F
Age: She looks around late teens. She's actually at least a thousand years old by now.
Appearance: She stands around 5'4'' (See Magick), with platinum blonde hair that's streaked with different colors (red, blue, pink, purple, black, green...). Her skin is almost deathly pale, but her lips are always pink. Her eyes are a sort of bloodish color, with a few flecks of black. She also wears a random assortment of jewelry. Rings, bracelets, anklets and she has quite a few ear piercings. She has a pair of almost transparent dragonfly-like wings, that aren't retractable.
Clothing: She wears a beige t-shirt that is slightly puffy at the shoulders. The front of the shirt is lower down than were the sleeves would make it. It has a chinese dragon in red on one side, and an old chinese building in black on the other. It has two very narrow slits in the back for her wings. She wears blue trousers that almost look like jeans, and brown sandals.
Personality: She's a dreamer, but always reminds herself to get back down to earth. She can find the weirdest things funny, and can be a slight pyromaniac. She can be very blunt and sarcastic when she wants to be, and doesn't mind being the one to point out a flaw, but usually only jokingly.
Relationships: She'll easily remark that anyone's cute, or good looking. She's not usually serious about anyone, though.
Weapons: She has a long-bladed sword, that she keeps in a sheath over her back. She uses a more fencing-like style when she uses it, instead of hack n' slash. The sword is made of faey metal, and the hilt is a silvery, metallic light blue. On the hilt is a design of a western dragon in small rubies, with a crystal eye.
Magick: It's basically fire-type magic. She can also turn into a more Zelda style of a faey, a small orb of light with wings. She usually only uses this for escape, or access into small areas.
Destined: She has a very haunting singing voice, that, if she sang long enough, could hypnotise someone very weak of mind. She can't do this yet, though.
Demonica: N/A
Minions: N/A
Other: Eh. When in more nature-y areas, she prefers to go barefoot. She can only hover/rest in the air when she's in her full form. She can't actually fly in that form, but could make it look like she sitting on thin air.
Joy - Faey - Destined One
------------------
A group of demons cackled behind me, as the paved road turned to dirt, and my sandals thumped against the ground.
I turned around and tried to summon a few spurts fire, that crackled, but basically just died. Hoots and cackles came from behind me, as one of them threw a spear. I gasped as it grazed my ankle.
When the road soon became over-run by plants, I soon dashed into the forest.
I felt a slight hope when I saw the forest, it looked like old Faey territory. Now, however, Faey towns were few and far between, our people never fully recovering from the slaughter thousands of years ago. The last one I visited was at least a few months ago, mostly elders with no heirs to follow.
I heard a few shrieks come from the very edge of the forest, and I stumbled over a root. Cursing loudly in Human (the language is much more rash than Faey and quite nifty for swearing in.)
I slowed down to a jog, and realised it would of been much easier to escape in my smaller form. However, I was probably too panicked to even thing about using magick.
A few of the oldest trees in the forest had ancient Faey markings on the tress, that were basically unreadable. Something corny, your know, like in those weird Human 'movies'. "In this forest we have lived, blah blah blah."
Oh, look, an old temple, maybe? A shrine, or something.
Suddenly, a ripple of energy shot through the forest, like an earthquake, and was followed by a blinding light.
I heard a shout come from the temple, and I decided to investigate further. Whatever was in there, it had to be better than those demons back at the edge of the woods.
...I hope.
