Is it true that you can Absol on Route 120.

Yes, yes it's true that Absol may be found in Route 120. However, they're painfully rare, so you may have to trudge through the grass for some time before finding one. Good luck!

Poryhedron I don't mean to say your wrong or anything but it's no where near painfully rare. I was playing Ruby for about 5 min. not to long ago and ran into 12 Absols. The only pokemon I ran into more at that particualar time period was Marill.

I guess I could have gotten lucky, but then again every time I'm in that particular area I always run into 1-5, and that's just when I'm passing through the tall grass. Also I was searching that area for a Kecleon, a special one, and in the hour or so I was there I saw more Absols then I saw Zigzagoons. Maybe that's just luck to though

I have to disagree with you there. Absol is rare, and believe me i know, hes one of my favs, and i have about 12 wild absols, they are rare.

I dunno I guess it is just my luck since I continue to run into them. On each route there is a rare Pokemon that can only be found on that location, like Jigglypuff for example. Now in that same area I have noticed that there are 2 uncommon Pokemon to come acroast. Lets use route 120 for this little thing. Now there are what 5-6 Pokemon that can be found on that route. They are Absol, Kecleon, Zigzagoon, Furret, Oddish and Marill (if there are anymore you've run into there please speak up). Now this is what I have noticed when I have been there:

Marill, Oddish and Zigzagoon are common (you run into them the most)

**Now this is when we get into the disagrement of Pokemon rareity**

Now I think that absol and Furret are the uncommons in this area (yes Furret is the evolved form of Zigzagoon but it still appears in the wild) and Kecleon is the areas rare Pokemon. Now as I said it could be my luck but that's what I think. Out of 20 Pokemon I ran into this is what they were:

4 Oddish
6 Zigzagoon
4 Marill
3 Furret
2 Absol
1 Kecleon

OK so I guess those results are a little more "normal" then me finding so many Absols. My conclusion is there to many Zigzagoons and not enough Absols. Oh and also that it was my luck finding so many Absol in those few days. I'm Puaru and I'll be here all night peace out.

Uh.. I didnt know Absol was rare either, I always find tons of them a lot. Meh, have a look, and see if you can find one or not. =P

The first time i went looking for Absol in that area it took a while before it appeared, but once i caught one they appeared more often, now every time i walk through that area i see around 3-4 maybe at the most.

I think most rare pokemon have seasons besides the ones they mention 'cause I sometimes run into tons of one pokemon that's rare at one time then later not... Absol is one of those.

I normally see tons, but last time in my file I saw ziltch... nothing, nada... *shrugs*

Anyways it's a thought. I guess it's prolly just luck though. *shrugs*

I kept running into Absol one day for awhile. But I really never knew they were 'rare' until awhile ago. I have one myself.

Yeah, they're rare, but not extremely hard to find. They're a great catch, though. I <3 Absol.

Thank you it was one route 120 it is hard to find but a pain in the but to catch.
