Contest Question

Hi guys, I have a question about the contests.

You know, the Strength, Beauty, Intelligence, Cuteness, and Wisdom contests.

I know all about the poroks, the mixing machines, and how the contests work.

But their's just one little question that no-one has answered yet:

What do you get if your pokemon wins?

well, once i traded that sloth thing 4 that fighting guy in the rock gym town. (traded pkmn have more chance of winning)
anyway i won once but the item i got was in japanese....

...but i think it was a "hold" item...not sure tho, hope this helps, well probably not

There's a contest faq at TPM, you know =P the main site...

anyway, you get Ribbons - they aren't attached in the normal way, as in like berries and exp shares, etc. These ribbons have their own slot, and you can have that pokemon win as many ribbons as you want, but you only get one once each contest and only once for being in the team that beat the elite 4.

As for what they do, nobody knows. =P However, completing all the contests makes you feel... er, happy and they also give you a Trainer Star (see your trainer profile where it shows your money, etc.) which may have some use later on (apparently there are 5 to get and nobody can get the last one) .
