Master Ball Help!!!!

Hey Guys, I didn't encounter the masterball yet, and I'm at Sootopolis City already. Where is it? Can you tell me? I red some walkthroughs, and I found out that it's in the Team Aqua/Magma's hideout....... But, I went there and its closed!!!! how can I get the Master Ball?????? h:

Unfortunately, you have to get the Master Ball before you complete the Team Aqua/Team Magma hideout. Once the hideout closes, it will be closed forever, and you will not be able to get the Master Ball.

You could always try the Lottery at Lilycove every day because if the Trainer ID matches yours you win a Master Ball but this is very rare.

Its very unfortunate of me!!!! I'm planning to use the masterball to Latios since I caught Groudon with an UltraBall. And the lottery, I think It's 1 out of a thousand that I will win........It seems that I have to catch that Latios using a Wobbuffet again!!

Actually you're looking at more like 1 in 65500 (somewhere around that figure) of winning the lottery, since that's around how many possible trainer IDs there are, and you have to match you trainer ID exactly to win the Master Ball.

Tip: you can raise your chances to 4 in 65,535 by collecting all three of the in-game trades: Makit the Makuhita, owned by a boy in Rustboro who wants a Slakoth; Skitit the Skitty, owned by a girl in Fortree who wants a Pikachu; and Coroso the Corsola, owned by a girl in Pacifidlog who wants a Bellossom. Of course, you can also increase it further by trading via Link Cable with as many of your friends as you can. Hmm...does anyone know if the Lottery checks pokémon in Lanette's PC? If it doesn't, you can't raise your chances above 6 in 65,535...

Yes, I can confirm that the Lottery checks all pokemon in Lanette's PC.
During all my tests to get all eggs in Pokemon Box I have collected several Zigzagoon's, Treecko's, Mudkip's, Torchic's and other pokemon from my japanese R/S versions and traded them all to my english Ruby game. I have won several times PP UP's and Exp Share's in the Lottery because I have so many pokemon from different trainers. But, unfortunately no Master Ball yet.

Best possible chance would involve getting 426 (420 in Lanette's plus 6 on the belt) pokémon from different trainers. Easiest (!!) way to manage this would be 2 carts and 422 restarts, less however many others you can trade with. odds are still only around 0.6% per day to win a master ball, but you'll be swimming in PP Ups...

A more practical goal would be to aim for around 100 trades, giving about 0.15% per day chance. That's an average of 1 Masterball every 2 years of play.

If your gonna restart for trades you might as well just play through until you get to the master ball in magma/aqua base and trade it over and restart again.

I know how you feel. when I went to the guide after the magma hideout, I saw the master ball was there, and I tried to go back, but it was closed!
