I'll challenge you. I'll use Tsuhubi, my male Dratini and Sanjeran, my male Scyther.
2 on 2, both out at the same time
I choose first, opponent attacks first
72 hour DQ
Arena's a sandy area underneath a large cliff, the sun shines down from the side but it is still covered in shadow. The sand is easy to burrow in but not so soft that a heavy pokemon will sink
I'll use my Sneasel, Aoshi, and my Rhyhorn, Matrix.
I'll challenge you. I'll use Tsuhubi, my male Dratini and Sanjeran, my male Scyther.
I'll be reffing for you two, if you don't mind. I was going to accept this challenge myself, but it looks like Linc posted first.
Ok Linc, I gladly accept. Post ur attacks.
That was really quick, it would usually take at least a day or two for somebody to reply to challenges in the old ASB. Looks like people are into it ^^
Don't worry, the activeness will wear off in about a month or so.
Ok, Tsuhubi, first paralyze Aoshi with a Thunder Wave and then hit 'em with an Outrage. Sanjeran, use two False Swipes on Matrix and then hit it with a Slash.
Tsuhubi: Thunder Wave~Outrage (Aoshi)
Sanjeran: False Swipe (x2)~Slash
Aoshi, start out with a quick Dig. The sand should be soft enough to allow you to get underground quickly. Next, bounce around the area randomly with Agility. Once Dratini's outrage is done, use the momentum you gained from Agility to give Dratini a pumped up Ice Punch.
Dig~Agility~Ice Punch
Matrix, you shouldn't have much trouble. Attacking a rock pokemon with normal type slash attacks isn't exactly the brightest idea. As Scyther comes at you, spew some poison with Toxic. Wait for him to attack again, and when he's within eight feet or so level Scyther with Fire Blast. Wrap up the round by burying Scyther with Rock Slide
Toxic ~ Fire Blast ~ Rock Slide
DarkTemplarZ vs. Linc - Round 1
The afternoon sun shone lazily down through the wisps of cottony clouds high above. Though their full light did not reach the area where two trainers stood, the effects of its stifling summer heat were still very much felt. A Dratini and Scyther faced off against a Sneasel and Rhyhorn, the latter hovering a few feet off the ground while the former dug their feet into the ground and felt the cool sand flow between them.
Aoshi (Sneasel): 100%, fine

Let the battle begin! A few sparks of low-voltage electricity shot towards where Aoshi flew a few seconds before, but they quickly dissipated into the surrounding air after accomplishing nothing. Aoshi had vanished completely from sight, her position marked only by a rapidly refilling dent in the ground. Sanjeran, it seemed, wasn't having much better luck. He feigned a blow at Matrix with his claws, but the much heaver Rhydon would have none of it. He knew that even if the attack were real, it would not even do so much as to leave a mark on his rock-solid hide. As if to add insult to injury, he spat a thick glob of poison straight into the mantis' face.
You would think Sanjeran would learn from his first mistake, but no. He tried again to intimidate his rocky foe with another phantom strike, this time receiving a flaming cross to his underbelly for his troubles. Meanwhile, Tsuhubi lashed out at Aoshi's collapsing hole with all the draconic fury his small body could muster. What he failed to notice, however, was that her target had already burst from the sand behind him, and was already circling around behind him, fist outsreteched.
The dratini's eel-esque form went flying backwards as Aoshi's frozen knuckles connected, leaving a ring of ice around the site of impact. Sanjeran finally gave it up and decided to actually strike Matrix this time, as a cracking and low rumble began in the cliffs behind. Judging by his reaction, the blow did more damage to the Scyther's hand than to its intended target, and a moment later a flurry of heavy brown rocks rolled through like tumbleweeds. Though the majority of the avalanche's force was directed at Sanjeran, Tsuhubi did not fully escape their effects. Aoshi remained hovering just out of their reach.
Aoshi (Sneasel): 100%, fatigue (13%)
Matrix (Rhyhorn): 94%, fatigue (11%)

Sanjeran (Scyther M): 66%, bruised hand, intoxicated (-2% next round), fatigue (10%)
Sorry Linc, but that round didn't go very well for you. You know everything (including Hyper Beam and Outrage) only takes one turn in ASB, right? You still could have given Tsuhubi another attack and not simply subjected her to Aoshi's Ice Punch as she were.
EDIT: DarkTemplarZ, genders would be nice. Unless you don't mind me just referring to them both as male, that is.
Sorry about that, they're both male.
Aoshi, great job, keep it up. Start off by hitting Dratini with a Blizzard, try to knock it down. If you manage to momentarily stun Dratini, charge it with a Dynamicpunch, otherwise hide and attack with Faint Attack. Finish off with Double Team
Blizzard ~ Dynamicpunch/Faint Attack ~ Double Team
Matrix, awesome. Keep on pummeling that poor Scyther. Hit it with a quick Persuit, and follow that up with Body Slam, and finally give it a Flamethrower for good measure.
Persuit ~ Body Slam ~ Flamethrower
Ok, guys, it's time to switch targets. Tsuhubi, you hit the Ryhorn with a Surf attack, then hit it with a Water Pulse, and finally, hit it with a Hyper Beam, this should cause some damage to that rock beast.
Tsuhubi: Surf~Water Pulse~Hyper Beam
Sanjeran, let's try to psych out the Sneasel by using a Double Team, then hit it with a Slash attack, and finish with a Toxic attack.

Sanjeran didn't really have any moves that could crack Matrix' tough hide, so it was Tsuhubi's turn to give it a try. He pondered his trainer's command - Surf? How was he supposed to do that, when there was no body of water for miles around that could be manipulated? Instead, he just sat there looking dumb as a freezing wave of ice bit into his skin. Instead of being hit with a torrential tidal wave, Matrix surrounded himself with a dark aura and darted towards one of the now three Scythers he faced, guided toward the correct one by the same mysterious force. His concentration broken by the massive beast colliding with him, the two false copies vanished into thin air.
"Opponent momentarily stunned?" To Aoshi, Dratini's confused daze sure seemed that way. But before he could actually deliver his devastating uppercut to the dragon's jaw, he seemed to have remembered what he was doing. A high-powered stream of water shot from his mouth toward Matrix, who had taken to pinning Sanjeran beneath his massive bulk. I don't think I have ever seen a Rhyhorn move that fast, but he sure as hell didn't want to be there anymore. Simply thankful that the encounter hadn't broken every single bone in his body, and in no condition to strike Aoshi a blow across the backside with his claws, he painfully dragged himself to his feet.
He didn't have much time to think properly, and instead fired off a blob of toxic sludge at the first thing he saw that looked remotely like Aoshi. However, it turned out to be nothing more than an expertly-crafted illusion, vanishing the moment the poison touched it. A second later, Matrix' fiery breath scorched across the mantis' chest. Tsuhubi prepared his retaliation, but the Rhyhorn just shrugged off the beam of plasma as it struck his hide of hardened leather.

Sanjeran (Scyther M): 46%, aching, intoxicated (-3% next round), fatigue (16%)
Linc, when you have the initiative like that (in other words, when you post second) you should try using it more to your advantage than you did. And why do you insist on attacking a Rock-type pokemon with Normal-type moves?
I don't know... I'm new to this, and I'm sorta confused about how everything works. But oh well, Sanjeran, use Protect and then hit Aoshi with a Slash, then an Aerial Ace. While using those attacks, try to detemrine which one's the clone and which one's the real one.
Sanjeran: Protect~Slash~Aerial Ace
Alright, Tsuhubi, hit Matrix with two Water Pulses and then hit him with an Ice Beam.
Tsuhubi: Water Pulse (x2)~Ice Beam
Aoshi, while Scyther's wasting it's time using protect, use Blizzard on Dratini. Next, hide from Scyther's Slash and give it a light hit with Faint Attack. Take Scyther's Aerial Ace head on, it does mediocre damage, and then retaliate with Dynamicpunch.
Blizzard (Dratini) ~ Faint Attack ~ Dynamicpunch
Matrix, start out with Substitute, that should take both Water Pulses. Hit Dratini with a Blizzard, and then try to dodge the Ice Beam and hit Dratini with Rollout

Another jet stream of pressurized water struck Matrix hard in the side, but he just seemed to shrug this one off. That's odd... no time for Tsuhubi to think about it, though, as half the stream is frozen against his face as another wave of icy shards breaks against his already frost-covered skin. Sanjeran spent his time fruitlessly Protecting himself from an attack that never came; looks like he missed out.
A second stream of water struck Matrix, this time rupturing the copy he had created of himself, much to Tsuhubi's dismay. I doubt he liked the storm of ice he again found himself caught in much either, but that's a different story. Sanjeran picked one of the two remaining Sneasels and struck it a blow with his sharpened scythes, but both of them vanished into thin air before he could do so much as raise a claw. A blow to the back as Aoshi reappeared ended his daze as he looked around for his two missing targets.
But, consequently, he now knew which was the real Sneasel and which was an illusion. He pummeled her with a bunch of showy Blue Angels-esque aerial tactics, only to be met head-on by his opponent's crackling fist in the end. The remaining false copy faded away in the process as Aoshi's concentration became fully devoted to something else. Meanwhile, Matrix had curled himself up into a boulder-sized ball and charged full speed into the tiny Dratini. He spat out a beam of ice in an attempt to stop him before it was too late, but it glanced harmlessly off his rotating bulk before he slammed straight into his target.

EDIT: School's out. I shouldn't have to be able to do math right.
Tsuhubi, use two Double Teams, and then hit Matrix with a Water Pulse.
Double Team x2~Water Pulse
Sanjeran, use another Double Team, then hit Aoshi with two Steel Wings.
Double Team~Steel Wing x2
Since when do people do math right without a calculator anyway?
Aoshi, it's time to gang up on Dratini and finish it off. Hit Dratini with an Ice Beam, and then wait for Matrix to finish his attack, and charge in with Persuit. If Dratini's fainted, then use Agility to bounce around the arena for the rest of the round, otherwise hit Dratini with another Ice Beam.
Ice Beam ~ Persuit ~ Agility/Ice Beam
Matrix; bury Scyther with a Rock Slide to keep it from aiding Dratini, and then hit Dratini with Persuit. If Dratini's fainted, then finish up with a Mud-Slap on Scyther. If it hasn't, finish it off with Ice Beam.
Rock Slide (Scyther) ~ Persuit ~ Mud-Slap/Ice Beam
Hey I was supposed to post first that time! Doesn't really matter since we posted at the exact same time tho lol. Repost ur attacks Linc cuz ur supposed to post second... Anyway, ref needed...
Bump for ref and Linc to repost

DarkTemplarZ seemed very much in control of this particular battle. This could very well be the last round, if he planned everything right. A low rumbling in the cliffs behind signified what was about to come, but Aoshi struck before the boulders could cause their havoc. His beam of frost lanced straight through a Dratini, who disappeared instantly on contact. A moment later, the remaining clones of both he and Sanjeran were washed away in a sea of brown stone, with the Scyther receiving the brunt of the blows and Aoshi hovering aloft and out of danger as before.
Tsuhubi had been lucky to survive that opening exchange; this he knew well. His two opponents wouldn't try the same trick again - would they? Cloaked with an aura of darkness allowing them to see all, the two charged towards the single Dratini of any substance in a newly-formed crowd of three. Sanjeran struck out at Aoshi with his iron-clad scythe in a last-ditch attempt to save his teammate, but the claw sizzled with a crackling dark heat upon impact. He left a scar across Aoshi's back, but now he knew never to try that again.
Tsuhubi's serpentine form went rigid as both Matrix and Aoshi delivered their crushing blows. His two clones vanished into nothingness; he had no way of maintaining them. He simply lay there on the sand until blackness took him... he did not have long to wait.
Aoshi flitted around the sandy arena, never stopping in any one spot for more than a brief instant and seeming to teleport from place to place. It was up to Sanjeran to try and follow these movements and to deliver another blow with his scythe on top of that, but he could not even accomplish the former. Not, at least, with the cloud of sand Matrix has kicked up into his eyes.

Matrix (Rhyhorn): 46%, fatigue (41%)
vs.
Tsuhubi (Dratini M): KO'ed
Sanjeran (Scyther M): 13%, aching, partially blinded, intoxicated (-5% next round), fatigue (37%)
Sanjeran, keep up with that movement as best as you can with an Agility, and while your speeding around hit Aoshi with a Slash. After that, try an Aerial Ace on Matrix.
Agility~Slash (Aoshi)~Aerial Ace (Matrix)
Aoshi, start out with Sunny Day. When Scyther comes at you with Slash, retaliate using Counter. If Scyther's still holding on, give it a Shadow Ball.

Matrix, while Scyther's using Agility, power up with Swords Dance. Wait until it's finished attacking Aoshi, then finish it off with a Hyper Beam. If Scyther's still holding on, give it a Shockwave.

This looked to be the end for Sanjeran. He vowed to go down fighting, but against these two opponents he had no hope. He was not going to make himself an easy target; that's for sure. He began darting around wildly, making it almost impossible to hit him with attacks that never came... Aoshi called upon the sun's rays to aid him in this fight as Matrix performed an ancient tribal dance to boost his strength.
Sanjeran struck the waiting Aoshi one final blow straight across the face. He howled and fought back with his own razor-sharp claws as Matrix watched, confused by his trainer's orders. 'Hyper Beam?' Yes, he knew what the move was, but at the same time lacked the knowledge to perform the technique. It didn't really matter, though, as Sanjeran was blasted into submission a moment later by a flash of darkness. The Rhyhorn jolted his body with a surge of electrical current just to make sure he would not by some miracle rise again.
Aoshi and Matrix are victorious!
DarkTemplarZ, Rhyhorn can't get Hyper Beam, only Rhydon can. It didn't matter, though, the result was still the same. Congrats, you won!
