I have a few questions

Hey I am sorry I have already started a topic for this but at the moment I cant find it. But back to the questions

1) My sister is playing Sapphire. She also has Crystal and Silver. She wants to trade the Pokemon from Crystal to the Sapphire is it possible.

2) If she can does she need a new game link even if she would only be tradiong the pokemon from Crystal are all old to Sapphire and she will be trading old pokemon from sapphire to the Crystal if that didnt make since maybe this way will help

Pokemon like Magikarps, pikachu's, Girafarig's, Rhyhorn's and other old pokemon that are in Ruby/Sapphire do you still need a new Game link even if thay are old. Since Pokemon from Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, and Crystal are old to Ruby/Sapphire it shouldnt be a problem.

Sorry, Ruby and Sapphire dont connect with any of the old GBC Pokemon games. The only way to obtain RBY Pokes are through Fire Red and Leaf Green, released later this year, and most Johto Pokemon are caught through Pokemon Colloseum on the gamecube.

No, unfortunately, you can not trade back and forth from Ruby/Sapphire to Red/Blue/Yellow/Gold/Silver/Crystal. The new games are not compatible with the old ones. To get all of the older Pokémon on Ruby/Sapphire, you will either need a cheating device, (Gameshark, etc...) or you will need to trade with the Pokémon Colosseum game for the Gamecube, and the Fire Red/Leaf Green game boy games. Fire Red and Leaf Green have not been released anywhere but Japan so far.
