    Default Help needed with items

I don't know if this is the right place to be posting this, I can't decide on what items to give to my future PKMN Colosseum 2 on 2 team. Anyway here's my Pokemon:

    Skarmory
    Ability: Keen Eye/Sturdy
    Nature: Careful
    Drill Peck
    Protect
    Spikes
    Toxic
    EV’s: Def/Sp Def: 252. HP: 4

    Rhydon
    Ability: Lightningrod
    Nature: Adamant
    Rock Slide
    Roar
    Earthquake
    Megahorn
    EV’s: Attack/HP: 252. Defense: 4

    Ludicolo
    @Leftovers
    Ability: Rain Dish
    Nature: Bold
    Rain Dance
    Dive
    Leech Seed
    Protect
    EV's: HP: 252. Def/Sp Def: 128

    Manectric
    Ability: Static
    Nature: Modest
    Thunder
    Crunch
    Thunderwave
    Protect
    EV’s: Sp Attk: 255. Speed: 255

    Alakazam
    Ability: Synchronize
    Nature: Modest
    Psychic
    Ice Punch
    Fire Punch
    Calm Mind
    EV’s: Sp Attack: 255. Speed: 255

    Slaking
    @Choice Band
    Ability: Truant
    Nature: Adamant
    Return/Hyper Beam
    Shadow Ball
    Earthquake
    Focus Punch/Brick Break
    EV’s: Attack: 255. Speed: 255

I'm not changing any of these movesets, I just wanna know what items to use.

A Team holding Leftovers is mostly the best way to go for battles. They restore HP every turn and the more HP your Pokemon has, the more they restore. Sometimes there's another item a Pokemon could hold like a Choice Band but I would recommend only 1 Pokemon per Team holds a Choice Band if any.

I don't like Choice band. It boosts a move a lot, but after all the reason you've got more than one attack is that you're supposed to be able to use more than one. Well, I'm not sure if it's good or not, but I don't like it.

The choice band strategy is to use it on a powerful type that is in reserve. It switches in as needed to remove something you need removed, then switches away if the move it used is no good. Often called an "Assassin". Ninjask and Slaking are often used this way.

Depending on type, Shell Bell may be a better choice over Leftovers. This is true if the pokémon has lowish HP (less HP recovered per turn), is likely to cause lots of damage and is expected to *be* causing damage (i.e. many sweepers should look at this option). Scope Lens is a good investment on a pokémon which uses a high-critical moveset.

Pokémon vulnerable to confusion (think Sword Dance) and or status conditions (i.e. fast pokémon and Paralysis) may want to consider the Lum Berry. Leftovers isn't much use if you aren't built to take more than a couple of hits anyway.

Choice Banders are meant to be switched.

    Skarmory: Leftovers

    Ludicolo: Leftovers

Manectric: Uh, I would have 252 in Special Attack and Speed 4 in HP same with Alakazam. Salac Berry.

Alakazam: Peyata Berry. Thunderpuch over Ice Punch, but since you can't change, that works. Alakazam doesn't have the Defense for Calm Mind.

Slaking: 252 Attack 252 speed and 6 HP is better. Choice Band. Choose Brick Break.

    Rhydon: Leftovers/Leichi Berry

I don't have any access to stat boosting berries except for Leichi at the moment. How do u get those berries (I know they're not in Ruby/Sapphire). Also can't u only use one of each item? E.g. You can only have a Leftovers on 1 Pokemon and no-one else.

Well, if we are only allowed to suggest one of each kind of item, it becomes quite hard. Try getting some extra Lefties at the Battle tower. As for the berries, most of these that I call "Pinch Berries" like Liechi are obtained in Colosseum. I think you can buy them with Poke coupons, but I'm not sure if there are other ways.

That's called the Item Clause...and it's an optional rule. Some places restrict you that way, but some don't.

When you download Jirachi off Pokemon Channel it comes with either a Salac Berry (Speed) or a Ganlon Berry (Defence). The Salac Berry is used a lot and best for Sweepers that want to get faster when they're weak. You can get more Leftovers by winning lots of battles in a row at the Battle Tower. By using the Battle Tower you could also get more rare battle items too.

You may get Leichi Berries (attack) from Mirage Island (still haven't gotten there). Downloading Jirachi gets you Salac (speed) or Ganlon Berry (defense). You can get Salac, Ganlon, Peyata (special attack), and Apicot (special defense) Berries from Colusseum Mt. Battle in story mode (I think 15,000 PokéCoupons each). You can get Leftovers, Choice Band, Focus Band, Brightpowder, White Herb, and Mental Herb from Battle Tower and Mt. Battle. Did I miss anything?
