Yeah, we're going through a rebuilding process right now since most of the people who operated the now-deleted threads are either gone, inactive or have resigned. As most of you may have known, I was only modded to keep things running if Amanda or Karin were absent. Since I do have other duties, I accepted readily, only thinking that I would do a bit to keep ASB going along smoothly if the others were gone temporarily. Of course, I was completely taken aback when both quit all of a sudden and rather pissed because neither told me of their plans. Anyway, when it all comes down to it, I'm ready to take up the head honcho responsibility and make ASB great again

We already have ideas in mind but it would be great if the people spoke up also. We'll take every suggestion into consideration and when we're all done, we'll lay it out for everyone to vote on. If I'm forgetting something (which I'm prone to do), Raz will probably post here

Ok, here's the deal. Raz is in finals mode (which I'm sure everyone is familiar with) so nothing is going to happen for at least another week. I am really sorry cause I know everyone has been waiting for a long time but things will get going by at least the 11th, I promise. If he's still busy by then, I'll go at it alone and if anyone wants to help out, that's fine with me

ASB Rules and Links Tower

Welcome to ASB

Section 1: Starting Out
1. Choose up to 4 Pokemon. All Pokemon bar Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Mewtwo, Mew, Raikou, Entei, Suicune, Lugia, Ho-oh, Celebi, Unown, & the many variants of Missingo are legal.
2. Pokemon may use all its possible Naturally Learnt, TM, HM, breeding, and anime moves.
3. Signature moves are banned.

Section 2: Battles & Prizes
1. Rules needed to start a battle are as follows:

1. Number of Pokemon
2. Who sends out first Pokemon
3. Who attacks first
4. DQ time (default, 1 week DQ)
5. Arena

2. Items cannot be used in battle
3. Attacks may be restricted only if the opponent agrees
4. You may not select the prizes. They are pre-set.
5. Both players must agree before mid-battle rule changes are made.
6. Each round consists of three attacks from each battler (for each Pokémon).
7. Battles end when a winner is announced, the DQ time is up, or via forfeit. DQ countdown starts from the time of the last relevant post (i.e., the last reffing or the last attacks posted). You cannot win by DQ or forfeit unless at least one round is finished.
8. Battle Limit = 3 at any one time.
9. Tourney Limit = 3 at any one time.
10. Winner receives Points equivalent to the amount of Pokemon the loser used (fully completed 3 on 3 = 3 Points, completed 6 on 6 = 6 Points etc.).
11. The loser receives nothing.
12. Refs receive amount that has been used on either side (ex: 1 Point for a fully completed 1 on 1, 4 Points for a fully completed 4 on 4, etc.).
13. Sub-refs receive nothing unless they ref at more than 50% of the battle.
14. Every amount of Points you receive and the condition of your account will have to be posted in the ASB Bank. Until you do so, the money is not yours.
15. You may not give people money. Anybody doing so will be fined double the amount they gave, and the person receiving will also be fined.
16. You also may not give away Pokémon, nor may you attempt any ignoble methods of obtaining them.
17. Defeating a Gym Leader or an Elite trainer and winning results in you receiving their badge/medal and their gym TM. This may only be taught to one of your Pokemon. In order to teach it to another, you must defeat the GL again. The Gym leader may teach it to all of his/her Pokemon (There are no GL’s at this time)
18. Have fun, of course.
