WTF. Seriously, what is with these people and security? You'd THINK, after having their code stolen people like Newell would be a bit more thoughtful with their passwords.

Also, people saying "Doom 3 > HL2" and vice versa are retards. Mainly because HALF-LIFE 2 ISN'T OUT YET YOU STUPID SACK OF HUMAN SHIT.

I also want CS to go straight to the fiery pits of Hell. Mark my words, it's going to stagnate mods for HL2. I don't want CS with pretty graphics, I want some evolution.

EDIT: Keeping this thread open. PNT, you can close it if you want, but this is one of the best pranks pulled in video game-dom as of recent. I can't wait until Valve decides to use this as an excuse to delay the game another year.

Nothing against Doom 3. I'm really enjoying it. Played with headphones last night...I'd recommend anyone to try it...if they want to have a nervy experience...

Anyway, on the subject of HL2, I wish Valve would stick to their guns as far as a release date is concerned. I'm not concerned about it failing to deliver...I'm just concerned about when I'll be able to play it!!! lol

CS doesn't need a sequel. I just got it yesterday(Yeah I know it's sad),and the only thing it needs to improve on is graphics.Other than that its online play is perfect. Oh and on the subject of HL2....Oh wait this sucky computer won't load the fricken page.

I agree with Craig.

Doom 3 is an atmosphereic shooter that relies mainly on reflexes and your own nerves. Whereas CS is all about stringing together obscenties and homophobic slurs as quickly as possible.

EDIT: According to Team Radeon (the people that are sponsoring HL2), the game is going to go gold in the next week or so. An employee on the forums is trying to reassure posters that the annoucement and the prank are just coincidences; and, unlike the prank, there is no solid date yet for going gold. Only that the game is done and it'll go gold with the next week or so.
