    A Legend of Zelda RPG

    Sorry for the delay everyone!


    After the Hero of Time defeated the Evil King Ganondorf, the three Golden Goddesses of Hyrule – Din, Goddess of Power, Nayru, Goddess of Wisdom, and Farore, Goddess of Courage – wanted to be sure that Hyrule would be safe from any future attack. So, they ripped open a hole in the universe and sent the power of the eight Ruling Elements – Light, Forest, Fire, Water, Spirit, Shadow, Wind, and Earth – to various points in the history of our world, to lie dormant until such a time when heroes were needed. The power was given to eight newborn babies, in the form of birthmarks shaped like the symbol for each element. Through the generations, the power would pass down the line (maternally so it wouldn't run rampant), untapped and unknown to those who carried it on.

    And Hyrule did remain at peace for many years. The landscape changed somewhat, but for the most part stayed the same. New races emerged as others dwindled in number. Monsters continued to roam the land but not nearly in the numbers they did during the Evil King's reign. The many races of Hyrule lived in relative tranquility wit few quarrels. Time past, kings rose and fell, and the Legend of Link was passed on through the generations. Justice was kept and peace was all.

    You, on the other hand, are starved for excitement. Your world is that of an average adolescent who can't stand the boundaries of everyday life. You may be a young peasant longing for the adventures of knighthood, or maybe you're a modern-day teenager who would give anything to get our of your boring life of school and limitations. Whatever or whoever you are, you want something more.

    Now you get your chance. It seems when the Goddesses tore open the portal between worlds, a small part of Ganon's spirit escaped through from the Sacred Realm and also manifested itself in a small child. This child became ruinous, vile, and destructive due to the spirit residing within him. He became Ganondorf, in a sense, biding his time until he could return to Hyrule. And, in the midst of this blind peace, his time has come.

    Your time, it seems, has come as well. You're having a crummy day, unusual or not, and when you go to sleep at night you do not wake up in the same place. Where you are now is totally different, a fact that may or may not be a good thing.

    This is sort of a resurrection of my old Tale of Heroes RPG. I hope this one will be much better due to almost two more years of writing experience for the oldbies, the joining of newbies, and some new ideas on my part. This RPG requires knowledge of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and some monsters from Majora's Mask. It is rated 14+ due to violence and language.

    Rules:
    1) I reserve the right to reject any card submitted for entry into this RPG as well as to eject any offensive players.
    2) Please refrain from flaming other players.
    3) Please keep your posts relevant; plot twists and ideas are welcome, but do not do anything major involving the main plot without first consulting me.
    4) Reservations will be held for 48 hours. If you require more time, please contact me and I shall make note of it.
    5) No two heroes may have the same weapon, instrument, or shield, or be from the same time period (unless you get my consent first)

    Races:

    Hylian: Guardians of Light
    The "humans" of Hyrule, Hylians are just as varied in appearance. They look almost the same as humans but have the trademark pointed, almost elven ears. The Hero of Time himself was Hylian, and it is said that there are those who still carry on his bloodline from ancient times. Hylians live almost everywhere in Hyrule, especially in the Castle Town and in Thurton, a bustling town that sprung up from Lon Lon Ranch.


    Kokiri: Guardians of Forest
    Immortal unless killed by sword or illness, Kokiris look and act like children no matter how old they get. They live in the forbidden Kokiri Forest and seldom leave the protection of the guardian spirit, the Great Deku Tree. They are generally peaceful and prefer to avoid conflict. They have extensive knowledge of various plants and animals, but are unknowing of the world outside the forest.


    Goron: Guardians of Fire[/I]
    Lumbering rock-like people, Gorons are gentle by nature despite their often alarming appearance. They live on Death Mountain and eat the rocks they mine there. Bomb Flowers are a "special crop" of theirs and only grow in the dark caves on the mountain. Gorons can withstand heat and curl into balls and roll around, ricocheting like pinballs. They tend to be... not too bright.


    Zora: Guardians of Water
    Zoras are the graceful fish people who live in Zora's Domain. They have a humanoid form with fins on the forearms, calves, and back of the head. Their lungs filter water into oxygen as well as allow normal breathing. They swim at high speed like dolphins. Elite Zoran warriors can create electrical fields like eels. They live under the protection of their guardian deity, a giant ancient fish known as Jabu-Jabu.


    Gerudo: Guardians of Spirit
    Matriarchal desert warriors, Gerudos are all female with only one male born every generation. This male is the rightful leader of the Gerudo. Gerudos resemble Hylians but have normal ears, darkly tanned skin, and red hair. Jewels in their forehead signify their rank. They are the guardians of the Spirit Temple deep within the desert. The Evil King Ganondorf once belonged to this tribe.


    Sheikah: Guardians of Shadow
    Legend has it that the Sheikah are the shadows of the Hylians. Once rumored to be wiped out save for a few, they now flourish in their town Kakariko at the base of Death Mountain. Their hair is usually silver or black. Honorable but often antisocial masters of stealth, they will resort to teamwork if they must. The Sheikah are sworn to serve the Royal Family of Hyrule.


    Rito: Guardians of Wind
    Ritos are a bird-like tribe, once thought to be mere myth, who live on Dragon Roost Isle off the coast of Hyrule. They are very proud of their traditions. One such tradition is that of their young gaining the ability to grow wings from the guardian dragon. They have beaks, dark skin, white hair usually made into braids or ringlets, and short legs ending in talon feet.


    Deku: Guardians of Earth
    Deku Scrubs live in a swamp just north of the Kokiri Forest. They are a wooden people, with large heads, small bodies with short legs, leaf hair, long snouts, and glowing red, orange, or green eyes. They are ruled by a king, and generally viewed as monsters due to their tendency to spit nut projectiles at strangers for self-protection. They love to tell riddles and are very fast runners.


    Elements:

    Light:
    Light deals with strengthening, weakening, and healing spells. Strengthened in sunlight, weakened at night.
    -Available Familiars: ChuChu (red, green, yellow, or blue), Beamos, Lizalfos, Dinolfos, invisible Wallmaster or Floormaster.


    Forest:
    Forest can control and create plants and manipulate animals. Strengthened when near plants, weakened by fire.
    -Available Familiars: Deku Baba (either kind), Mad Scrub (yeah, the red "evil" ones), Wolfos, Gohma Larvae, Peahat, Moblin, Big Skulltula.


    Fire:
    Fire, obviously, can create and move fire, as well as generate heat. Strengthened in or near lava, weakened by water.
    -Available Familiars: Dodongo, Bubble (red, blue, or green), Torch Slug, Flame Dancer, Anubis, Real Bombchu, Fire Keese.


    Water:
    Water not only involves liquids, but ice and cold as well; can freeze/melt or create. Strengthened in or near water, weakened in the desert dryness.
    -Available Familiars: Octorock, Tektite (blue), Biri, Desbreko, Ice Wolfos, Freezard.


    Spirit:
    Spirit deals with psychic powers and manipulating the body's energy. Stronger if well-rested and not distracted, weakened if tired or strained.
    -Available Familiars: Iron Knuckle, Wallmaster, Floormaster, Garo, Leever, White Bubble, Keaton (not a monster, I know, but...)


    Shadow:
    Shadow uses mostly stealth and brute force-related attacks, the latter often weapon-based. Strengthened at night, weakened by bright light.
    -Available Familiars: Re-Dead, Gibdos, Stalfos, Stalchild, Poe (normal or Big), Dead Hand, Black Boes (several of the little buggers)


    Wind:
    Wind can control air and birds, and create and manipulate storms. Strengthened in severe weather with high winds, weakened in areas with no open air.
    -Available Familiars: Takurri Bird, Guay, Keese, Stinger, Dragonfly, Giant Bee, Fairy (one of the pink not-talking ones... Again, I know they're not monsters...)


    Earth:
    Earth can move earth and stone, generate quakes, and make sandstorms. Strengthened on solid ground, weakened when... not... on solid ground...
    -Available Familiars: Armos, Nejiron, Tektite (red), Armos, Death Armos, Wolfos, (regular black kind), Bio Deku Baba, Hiploop (with or without the iron mask)

    ~Name: Andrea DeSanne, also called Arnen (because I felt like it, ok?!)
    ~Age: 17
    ~Gender: Female
    ~Time Period: France, late 18th century
    ~Looks 1: She is tall and kind of pretty, with an athletic build and naturally semi-tanned skin. She has raven-black hair that falls to just below her shoulders and is kind of wavy at the bangs. A lock or two fall in her face. She wears a black frock coat with blue and silver trim, black knee-length breeches, white silk stockings, and black suede boots. Her hair is tied back by a blue ribbon, and her birthmark is on her left upper-arm.
    ~Looks 1: She is tall and kind of pretty, with an athletic build and naturally semi-tanned skin. She has raven-black hair that falls to just below her shoulders and is kind of wavy at the bangs.     ~Personality: She's a strong, willful young woman, passionate about everything she enjoys and adamant with her hate. She won't take any nonsense about being weak, and despises the prospect of being a boring housewife. She has an incredible sense of adventure as well as of humor.
    ~Element: Water
    ~Weapon: A streamlined halberd with several holes to allow waterflow so it can be carried while swimming.
    ~Shield: A sleek silver shield fit to her right forearm, with a slit for her fin and aquadynamic (I'm making up a word, sue me) plates on either side.
    ~Instrument: A flute made of fish bone.
    ~Items: Her pack is a waterproof fish-scale pouch with a rope strap slung across her shoulder. It contains some rope, a small knife (dull; for cutting said rope), several bottles of water, some food, some parchment, a fish skull filled with ink, and a seagull-feather quill pen.
    ~Spells:
    -Spout: Shoots a powerful stream of water from the palm, fingertip, or forehead.
    -Impale: Forms a spike of ice from a surface (floor, ceiling, wall, etc.)
    ~Ability: She can jump high and pull off acrobatic stunts.
    ~Rage: She turns blue with the tips of her fins fading to green and then white, her eyes go totally white, and all the water in the area is gathered to her. She gets much more powerful.
    ~Familiar: Glace, a female White Wolfos.
    ~Strengths: Pretty fast runner, very intelligent, nimble hands.
    ~Weaknesses: Can't lift heavy objects, sensitive to temperatures, not good at talking with people she doesn't know very well.
    ~History: She fled from her home upon being engaged to a man twice her age, for his money. She disguised herself as a boy in hopes of escaping the search party her parents sent out.
    ~Relations: Friends with Cye (eventually XP); although initially a bit freaked out by him, cares for Frosty and loves him like a pet she could never have before.
    ~Other: *sends other to its watery grave* She's left-handed. Meh.


    Evil Dead Guy
    ~Name: Seyelin
    ~Age: Over 200, but looks 14.
    ~Gender: Male
    ~Race: Terminian
    ~Alignment: Evil Rogue (for now...)
    ~Looks: Medium height and weight with deathly pale skin and a somewhat gaunt face. His shoulder-length hair is a gleaming silver-white, his eyes a cold, icy blue. He does not give off the normal appearance of breathing and so looks like a statue when he sits still for periods of time. He wears a plain black wool shirt, a long overcoat of brown leather, grey pants, and Dodongo-hide boots and gauntlets (brown). He also wears a long black scarf to conceal the deathly visage of his face.
    ~Personality: Seyelin is a spiteful, hate-filled being, in contempt with those around him who are truly living. He rarely shows signs of emotion and is often lost in thought. He utterly lacks fear, but for the light of day which harms him, and deep water which he died in. Even then it is not normal fear, more a feeling of repulsion. He resents authority but will do whatever it takes to achieve his goals, even if it means slitting a few throats along the way. He literally has ice water in his veins.
    ~Weapon(s): Double-helixed sword with one black blade and one white blade called Soulcutter, a mythril chain that sprouts spikes and can change length, gauntlets have spiked knuckles.
    ~Armor: A pair of Dodongo-hide (brown) spiked gauntlets, and wears a chestplate of cold steel under his jacket (over his shirt).
    ~Attacks:
    -Flight: Not really an attack, but felt it should go here.
    -Freeze: He can freeze things by touch.
    -Crucify: Chains up enemy's arms and legs in a cross shape, then runs them through.
    ~Strengths: His body gives off no heat, very shallow wounds won't bleed and heal a bit faster than normal, cunning and fast.
    ~Weaknesses: Sunlight weakens him and hurts him even indirectly, has a fear of deep water.
    ~History: Over two centuries ago, Seyelin lived in the village on Snowhead Mountain in Termina. One night he snuck out in secret to visit an ill Goron friend of his. However, winter was nearing an early end, and the ice around the Twin Isles was wearing thin. Hoping to get to his ailing friend sooner, Seyelin cut across, taking his chances on the thin ice. But, as soon as he set foot on it, it cracked and gave beneath him, and he fell in. The top of Snowhead Peak was the last sight he beheld with living eyes.

    His spirit, unable to leave, unaccepting of his fate, lingered in the corpse for more than two hundred years. Then, around the time Ganondorf sought his return to Hyrule, Seyelin began to feel actual cold in his limbs. He could move his fingers. Eventually, he opened his eyes to his icy prison, and found he could cause the ice to crack by the mere will to do so. Slowly, he made his way to the surface, into the cold night air. He made his way to the village. Time had passed. His friends and family had long passed away. Paralyzed by shock and grief, he began hearing a voice, telling him to forget; that if he forgot about it, it would all be better. So he shoved the memories to the back of his mind, and it didn't hurt as much. The voice had helped him. And now it was telling him to cross into Hyrule, that if he did he could be restored to his own time. So he set out...
    ~Relations: CLOSED.
    ~Other: And alas, the other shall be submitted to by fate as well... *freezes other*
    Yeah, I can break necks with my mind.

    ~Name: Kaele Enabskrad
    ~Age: 30
    ~Gender: Male
    ~Race: Hylian
    ~Alignment: Heroes' Ally
    ~Looks: He's about six feet tall, with black hair to his shoulders, blue eyes and a heavily built frame, over which he wears a Black set of tunic and pants above a grey white undershirt with long sleeves, His left ear is cut a bit short, due to a fight he once had.
    ~Personality: In public and among friends, he's fairly easy going and friendly, when it comes down to business, however, he is cold and efficient, almost like he's another person.
    ~Weapon(s):He wields a Bastard Sword, which he can wield with either one or two hands, he also carries a Horse Bow(a bow specially designed to be usable from a horse as well as off the saddle) and he is proficient at hand to hand combat.
    ~Armor: He wears partial plate mail, There's a breastplate that covers his chest region as there are plate leggings, his right arm has a normal gauntlet, whereas his left is covered in a shield gauntlet, thicker and designed to take the place of a shield.
    ~Attacks: Up to three special attacks - no magic, more race-and-weapon-related.
    -(1)Great Cleave-a two handed swing with his sword that can cut through multiple enemies.
    -(2)Bash Combo-without his sword, he can bash an enemy with his shield gauntlet, stunning them and allowing him to beat them with several hand to hand attacks.
    -(3)Fast shot- he can fire many arrows from his horse bow rapidly, but with lowered accuracy
    ~Strengths: He's strong and skilled in combat, outmatching most normal fighters.
    ~Weaknesses: He has zero magical ability.
    ~History: He's a fairly well known mercenary, making money as a sell-sword, selling his services to the merchants that fear the few monsters that roam in the kingdom, recently, however, he's been rethinking his ways, considering a new path.
    ~Relations:Open
    ~Other: OOGABOOGABOOGA!
    The Wheel of Time turns and Ages come and go.
    What was, what will be, and what is may yet fall under the Shadow
    Let the dragon once again ride on the winds of time.

    Heroes
    ~Name: Cyphon Korena (Prefers to be called Cye)
    ~Age: 16
    ~Gender: Male
    ~Time Period: Late 1990s Canada.
    ~Looks 1: He's tall, standing at 6'1. He has a gymnastic build, being a rock climber. His hair is sand-colored and comes down to his ears, and his eyes are a rather featureless gray. He wears jeans that are too big for him, with a black and blue belt holding them up. His upper body is attired in a t-shirt that is too big for him as well. His shoes are usually sandals. His birthmark is on the back of his neck.
    ~Looks 2: He appears to be 12 years old, and now has pitch black hair that comes down to his neck. It doesn't reflect any light. His eyes are now a deep green/brown mix, and he wears black leather boots. He has your typical young Link clothing, except that he has pants underneath the kilt. They're green (duh), and still a little too big, so he trips up a lot. The bithmark is now on the center of the plam of his right hand, which he uses to target spells. He is around 5 foot to 4'9 tall.
    ~Personality: He really has a difficult personality to pinpoint. He'll be yelling at you one moment, and telling you a joke the next. Most of the time, if no one's interacting with him, he'll just remain silent, paying keen attention. He's rather a joker around people he knows and feels he can trust, but isn't afraid to stand up for himself and anything he feels is right. Quick to anger, rash, he doesn't always think things through. Very unpredictable, he makes a loyal friend, if a bit of a lazy one. He's very sore about the age he looks, and anyone who forgets to treat him as an equal is bound for a shin full of pain.
    ~Element: Forest
    ~Weapon: His weapon appears to be a plain old Deku Stick, but has a pair of hidden blades that can fold out of it. It is really 2 sticks, and he can pull them apart, giving him a pair of handheld scythes. Usually, he just leaves it as 1 stick.
    ~Shield: His shield is wooden, in the shape of an unidentifiable fruit. It has thorns protruding out of the front, making it very effective. It isn't dead wood, but an actual, living plant. It requires that it be dipped in a body of water once every 5 days to remain alive. It can produce small berries if it hasn't been in battle recently.
    ~Instrument: A horn (Anyone seen Return of the King? Think the horns of the Rohirrim). It is wodden, with strong vines forming its cord and intricate patterns along it's length.
    ~Items: His pack is made of tough, yet flexible bark woven together with vines, with two vines for straps. He wears it like a backpack. It contains whatever food he may have at the time, a wooden flask of water, a few sheets of parchment, a bottle of ink that looks like an acorn, a twig (for writing), and various herbs, plants and medical supplies for healing wounds.
    ~Spells:
    -1: Entwine: A trio of vines about 6 inches wide shoot out of the ground, ensnaring whatever he was targeting.
    -2: Revive: He reawakens any nearby plants, giving them the gift of movement, so that they may help in battle.
    ~Ability: He is very fast, and makes an excellent climber or scout.
    ~Rage: His eyes shine with a bright green light, his hair extends down to his waist and turns deep brown, and all the plants and animals in the area are telepathically controlled by him. He is also capable of jumping much higher.
    ~Familiar: A Peahat, large enough to lift him into the air. He's named it Dust Devil.
    ~Strengths: He's very agile, and is a great climber. He blends in with almost any landscape where plants exist, and is rather difficult to catch.
    ~Weaknesses: He can't withstand a lot of blows, and injures easily. He isn't very strong, and can't move a lot of obstacles.
    ~History: Growing up in a middle class family, he ran away at the age of 13 to infuse his life with some real adventure. Living on the road was enjoyable, but he still felt like he was missing something. Well, now that's all over...
    ~Relations: After a rocky start, he and Arnen become good friends, looking out from one another. Arnen's the only one who he'll tolerate teasing from, but even then he's got his limits... Otherwise, open.
    ~Other: He hasn't known anything about plants or healing before he came to Hyrule, but now it seems to come instinctively to him.

    ~Name: Ti Muinat
    ~Age: 18
    ~Gender: Male
    ~Time Period: Early 1980's London (the Punk era)
    ~Looks 1: Ti is quite short for a boy of his age, measuring in at only 5 foot 4 inches. He's quite muscular though, and has a stern look that makes people not want to mess with him. His complextion is quite pale and pasty, and his hair is a shocking blonde that is alost white. He wears it spiked up in a mohican, and also has a closely trimmed goatee. He is usually see wearing long sleeved shirts, with a second shorter sleeved shirt over that, unbuttoned. These are usually in deep red or orange colours. He also wears a pair of charcoal grey jeans and black trainers. Due to an accident as a child his back and shoulders are badly burnt, but a birthmark on his right shoulder is still visable through the burnt skin. Also has mutiple tattoos in a celtic knot pattern on his arms.
    ~Looks 2: Unlike the comon Goron's that are so easily mistaken for each other by the non-Goron people, Ti's body is slightly more muscular and his stone skin is of a grey/brown hue rather than purely brown. He also has a silvery white mohican, and a closely trimmed goatee of the sae colour. On his right shoulder he bears the mark of fire, alost branded into his body. He also has the same celtic knot tattos over his arms.
    ~Personality: Ti isn't massibly smart, but he has enough common sense to get him through life without any trouble. He actually retains small bits of seemingly useless information, only to suprose people when he comes up with the answers they're after. He's a favoured member of a trivia team. Ti is normally quite cal, but he does anger when he or someone close to him is picked on, and his anger is fuled by his strength. He's a good fried, but not someone you want to get on the wrong side of, because he is known to hold a grudge for a long time.
    ~Element: Fire
    ~Weapon: A double headed Axe, the hilt of which is made from bone.
    ~Shield: Ti possesses no shield, instead he relies on his hard stone body. Along his forearms his skin is harder and more rigid than normal.
    ~Instrument: A single drum, that he can tuck under one arm and beat with his spare hand.
    ~Items: Ti carries a bag over his shoulder that is similar in shape to the common 'Bomb Bag' made by Goron's. It too is made of Dodongo Skin and therefore also contains a a handful of bombs, aswell as his instrument and some tasty rocks. It is carried on his back by a thick rope wrapping over his shoulder.
    ~Spells:
    -Drain: For a short time completely drains heat from something.
    -Torch: Creates a ball of fire than can be thrown or carried like a lamp.
    ~Ability: Has better than average night vision.
    ~Rage: His hair suddenly burns and becomes like flame, and his body heats up to a deep red colour. The air and anything around him heats up, burns or melts depending on what it is.
    ~Familiar: Blitz, a Red Bubble
    ~Strengths: As a Goron, Ti is very strong, and able to break bhoulders with a few solid punches (or less depending on size). He's also excellent at moving through rough/rocky terrain.
    ~Weaknesses: Ti can't swim, and generally dislikes water altogether. He's also not that fast at walking.
    ~History: His father died of a drugs overdose and his mother dropped slowly into depression, leaving Ti to live his life on his own. He once burnt himself badly with some boiling water, and received much insults from other his age. He built up defences and worked hard on keeping himself focused. Now he's aiming high and is ready to make a difference.
    ~Relations: CLOSED
    ~Other: Ti likes to drink (I mean Alcohol)

    Just like that, except Ryua is only about as big as a small cat. He doesn't have the weird thing growing from his muzzle either. His eyes are a bright silver in color with flecks of light blue.
    ~Personality: Ryua is a young little dracling, who is very innocent and rather niave. He is fiercely loyal to those he trusts, and tends to become overly protective at times. Despite his small size, he can be quite fierious if his temper rises or some thing really angers him. However usually he tends to just get into lovable mischief and is extremely curious and coy.
    ~Weapon(s): He has no weapons!
    ~Armor: Ryua has natural armour about as strong as diamonds for each of his small yet smooth scales.
    ~Attacks: Ryua has no real 'attacks'. He's quite young, so his two different 'sac's (Fire sac and Acid Sac) are dormant. As he grows slightly, he'll be able to spit out small bits of fire or acid, until he grows more and his abilities become more mature. His little black claws are nasty sharp however, although they're so small they can't do much.
    ~Strengths: He's very loyal and his strength is upon his friends and his loyalty.
    ~Weaknesses: Very gullible, he can easily be distracted and tends to trust others some times a bit too easily. His powers also can be tapped against others some times.
    ~History: Ryua's egg was laid back in ancient Hyrule, far before the Kingdom of Hyrule was ruled over. It was actually back before most humanoid creatures lived, back when ancient demons and warlords lived. A great Dragon named Avianar, had sacrified herself to the three Gods to help end the Demon War back in Ancient times. In doing so, her only wish was that she could have a child that lived. The Gods agreed, and they killed her but salvaged from her essense an egg that was her child. They put a seal upon the egg, so that it would not hatch until once again the aid of Avainar's essense was needed. A few years ago before the trouble began to brew in Hyrule again, Ryua's egg hatched.

    Ryua's egg hatched in an isolated part of the forest, quite near to where Link used to live. The egg just appeared there one day, and no one really knew what it was. However, the little Deku tree told everyone to leave the egg alone- that it was a bad sign of trouble, but yet it was a sign of hope. The egg soon hatched, and Ryua was born. Everyone was shocked and frightened at first, but Ryua seemed gentle and he often purred when a few got enough courage to pet him. Eventually most of the Koroki in the forest tolerated him, and even fed him at times (other wise he'd snoop around to steal bits and pieces of food himself.) However, one night one of the foolish Koroki boys thought it'd be funny to play a little trick on the young dragon. He left a trap out one night, in which Ryua soon fell into because the bait was food. IT was there the boy and a few of his friends sneered and jabbed the little dracling with sticks and other things. A girl soon came out of the forest and yelled at them, telling them to leave him alone. As soon as she released the dracling, Ryua took off and ran out into the fields of Hyrule.

    It's been a few years now... and Ryua is basically living about Hyrule. Currently, he's living near a tree in Hyrule's fields. He does pay little visits to various part of Hyrule to get food, but he's afraid of any Koroki-like creature or even most Hylians.[/i]

    ~Other: There is a long lost myth, almost long forgotten by most, about the Child of Avarian. It states, that in a time of great peril... the unknown and untapped power of the child will arise. This 'power' (this isn't stated in the legend), is that Ryua's small form will grow into a full sized Dragon, allowing all his energy to arise into him. (Basically, a big... full-sized dragon of Ancient times. That means more powerful than regular dragons Hyrule has ever seen since extreme Ancients.

    ~Name: Lee Kenta
    ~Age: 17
    ~Gender: Male
    ~Time Period: Early 2040’s
    ~Looks 1: He is 6’2” with an athletes build. He has a tan from playing outside all the time and it goes well with his dark black hair. His hair is medium length and does not cover a lot past his ears and the bangs just barley get past his eyebrows. He wears a black shirt with camo patterned shorts that go to his knees. On his feet he has a pair of ankle socks and a pair of shoes that look like basketball shoes from the 1980s. Finally, his birth mark is right above his left elbow.
    ~Looks 2: In Hyrule Lee has the same body build except for a few things. His clothing is now the same “Sheik” suit Zelda wore in Ocarina of Time. He now has a slight stumble and know he has two black diamond marking under each eye that go / away from his mouth on the left eye and vis-versa for the other eye.
    ~Personality: Lee is generally nice. He can have a nasty temper if he is forced too. He loves to go fishing and loves to sharp shoot with bows and rifles which has made him have incredible accuracy in projectiles.
    ~Element: Shadow/ Sheikah
    ~Weapon: Throw stars (like ninja stars). These are 6 point star shaped.
    ~Shield: Lee dosnt have a huge shield but has two small fist size ones of each fist that are imbedded into his gauntlet.
    ~Instrument: A guitar made of fish bone, made by the Zora
    ~Items: Lee’s pack is a small sash that hangs off his back like a backpack. He only cares some bandages in it and a bit of fruit in case he gets hurt or hungery.
    ~Spells: Two to start, nothing too powerful
    -Vanish (Goes invisible for a short time period)
    -Speed (Lee gets more an adrenaline rush and can move at un-seeable speeds.)
    ~Ability: Lee has the ability to track foot prints, smells, ect. EXTREMLY well.
    ~Rage: Lees hair goes red and silver, muscles become larger meaning strength goes up.
    ~Familiar: Poe (Big) that he calls, well, Poe XD.
    ~Strengths: agility, strength & intelligence
    ~Weaknesses: Is not THE strongest person ever but then again, he isn’t weak. He doesn’t always think things through properly before he acts though.
    ~History: Lee was an only child so he got spoiled in his younger years which made him a snob as a kid. He got picked on also when he was a child but once he got to older and went to high school he turned out to be one of the “cool” kids. His father died when Lee entered Grade 9 from a stroke. (sorry that’s the best I could think of) X]

    Sorry for the delay everyone. This took a damn long time to do, and is nearly three pages on word, so I really hope this RPG turns out.

    Name: Zedrick von Ulrich

    Age: Twenty-Eight.

    Human Appearance: A young man in appearance, twenty or so, handsome to the point where women adore him, this helps to boost his charisma and persuasion. He has soft blonde hair and blue eyes brimming with life, his skin is fair and gracious, and everything about him appears perfect. Zedrick has a slim build, and is of average height. He wears a white short-sleeved shirt with gold trim, along with white pants and shoes. Looks to be a charmer, would woo any straight woman with ease by looks alone.

    True Appearance: In his true form, Zedrick is not at all handsome. He has ebony hair that is of medium length, with bangs that often drift in front of his eyes. Zed has a grayish skin tone, making him appear almost dead, with deep black circles under his colorless eyes. He has sharp and angled features, a chiseled jaw and chin, and pointed cheekbones. His nose, formerly slender and graceful, is now broken, leaving a noticeable bump in the center and causing his nose to hook slightly downwards after the break. He is slightly taller, and a lot more muscular in his true form. Now he wears pure black armor, which encases his entire body save his head. Spiked gems of a slight greenish hue point wickedly from the elbows and knees of his armor, decorating the chest and shoulders of his armor as well. Wrapped around the left wrist of his armor is a dull gray chain. Draped from his back is a long black cape, tattered to a serious extent.

    Personality: Absolutely wicked. Whatever he wants, he gets—and he will stop at nothing to get it. He is extremely intelligent. Hates to be beaten at anything, though, whether it is a physical competition or a mental one, he can’t stand to lose. When adrenaline pumps through his body he does not keep his cool, and tends to go absolutely crazy—killing everything and anything in sight. This also happens when he is angry, as he has an absolutely horrible temper.
    In human form, however, he does he best to hide his true personality. He is a charming and witty individual who does not like to fight, and takes care of his family and friends before him. He uses this form to trick people, or obtain information he cannot get by normal means.

    Weapon(s): Tyr is his first choice for weaponry. Tyr is a large two-handed sword that requires a massive amount of strength to wield. Its handle and hilt are pure black, except for a small green gem near the pommel. The blade itself is the only thing with any luster at all among Zedrick’s appearance. It is long and shiny, with wicked hooks and teeth for ripping the flesh of his opponents. In the blade, engraved running vertically to the hilt is the word “TYR.”
    Aside from Tyr, Zedrick has a length of chain wrapped around his left wrist that can extend to roughly five feet, and he is proficient in unarmed combat as well.

    Armor: Thin black armor encases his entire body except for his skull. Although it is thin, it has the strength of a thick steel plate, as it is made of a scarcely found metal present only in the Goron Mountains. It allows maximum mobility while still providing tons of protection. This armor is all in plates that were made to fit Zed’s exact proportions, so they fit him almost as clothing would. His armor consists of: bracers, gauntlets, a chest and back plate, a thigh, knee and shin guard for both back and front, boots, and a shoulder/neck piece that goes on last. It covers the shoulders and has two ridges on either side of the head to prevent blows aimed at the neck, and the cape comes from underneath each shoulder. Along with this, he wears a very thin sheet of mail underneath his armor to cover the joints that the armor needs to give him mobility.

    Spells:
    -(Light)
    Fatigue: Makes those targeted tire and fatigue, greatly affecting their stamina until it is either countered by a strengthening spell, or until they rest.
    -(Forest) Manipulate: Allows Zedrick to call animals around him to his side to help him in battle. These “animals” normally are variants of stalfos or re-dead.
    -(Fire) Arsonist: Zedrick breathes fire from his mouth to damage his enemies. Does not work on Gorons, or those immune to fire, for obvious reasons.
    -(Water) Benumb: Makes those targeted feel extremely cold, to the point where they may not be able to perform in battle. Causes horrible shivering in those not used to the cold, or those that have lived in desert climates.
    -(Spirit) Mental Inhabitation: Allows Zedrick to enter the mind of someone else and speak inside of their head. If they are weak-minded, Zedrick can get them to perform tasks for him. The stronger minded might simply shrug his attempt off.
    -(Shadow) Apperception: Makes Zedrick invisible to the human eye.
    -(Wind) Squall: Zedrick blows a huge gust of wind in the direction of his opponent, which will most often knock them off of their feet. If they are very small in stature it may send them flying back, but just as so if they are of huge nature like the Gorons—it may not affect them at all.
    -(Earth) Seism: Allows Zedrick to warp the ground around him to his likings. Not necessarily to cause damage, just to split the earth, or section it off to his liking. Can be used to separate large groups of people into more easily handled amounts.
    ~(Rage) Paroxysm: Zedrick’s body and weapons explode into purple flames. For the duration of this spell, Zedrick becomes immensely strong, to the extent of a God, but he becomes unaware of his surroundings. Through this strength he gains a sort of “tunnel-vision,” where Zed focuses only on one thing until he is done killing it. He cannot control himself in this stage, often killing his own side in a lustful craving for blood.

    Strengths: A physical specimen, extremely strong, agile and swift. Few match his mental capabilities as well. In battle he is not as direct of an enemy as he seems—he often tries to weaken his opponent rather than face them when they are at their prime. He will do something to them, put thoughts in their head, a chill down their spine, or single them out from all their friends—and then face them one on one. Zedrick is definitely to be feared if you stand-alone against him.

    Weaknesses: He is only one man, after all. Can be beaten with numbers and planning.

    History: Innocence. Picture innocence. The epitome of innocence was Zedrick von Ulrich in his childhood, before the spirit of Ganon overtook him. He had bright blonde hair and blue eyes that burned with an adolescent incandescence. After the spirit intruded into his mind, his hair turned black and his skin grayed. His parents abandoned him at this point, when he was ten, for they saw him as a demon child. He became destructive and no one ever wanted to be around him. The orphanage tried to take care of him, but he was known for causing havoc. One day they put him in the corner for being a naughty child, and in his own anger and frustration he burnt the orphanage down without even knowing it. As the flames reached up to the heavens, he left—knowing that he would not be accepted in any terms of humanity.

    He hated himself for this newly found power. He hated everything he was—he would’ve killed to be normal, he would’ve killed to not have to bear the burden of such weight. But then he noticed that these powers had potential—they could make him a God. But this power wasn’t enough, what good was power if it was solitary? He wanted people to know of his power, they wanted him to know his name and to fear it. And so, through his adolescence he began training in the sword.

    At the age of fourteen he competed in his first sword competition—returning to Hyrule to do so. He won it, easily, defeating men twice his age with raw talent, formed mostly around agility and swiftness. It was at this point that he had begun to make a name for himself. The power-hungry thieves and the scum and villainy of the lands looked up to this “Zedrick von Ulrich”, while those noble and just did fear his name. Zedrick became an icon until he ‘fell.’ When Zedrick was around the age of sixteen he went into studying sorcery, and left the minds and gossip of Hyrulian citizens.     I don't screw around with anyone's decisions. If you're not sure whatsoever about sticking to an RPG, don't post in the first place. What I meant by my post was that saying you would stay until your interest wanes doesn't put much confidence into Erin, who wants a successful and long lasting RPG. Taking a spot and then giving it up partway through the RPG also intrudes on someone else who would possibly want the spot and lets down the other posters

    If one, meaningless post actually has the ability to change your mind, then I'm speechless

    Eeeeee...X_X I never said that I'm going to jump in head-first and then abandon the thread. All I said was that I'm interested in doing this RP, and that I may or may not fully sign up for it. I'm not going to join in and then ignore it five posts afterward. I apologize if I was obtrusive in expressing any of this, although I don't like you all ganging up on me...I've had a bad, bad history of that in the past and I don't want it continuted in the present.

    ~Name: Sayuri Nakamura or just Yuri for short
    ~Age: 19
    ~Gender: Female
    ~Time Period: Feudal Japan approximately 1356
    ~Looks 1: As a kunoichi she wore the traditional shinobi shozoko that all ninjas wore. Standing at 5 foot 6 inches she was relatively tall for a female of Japanese descent and with her squared jaw and sharp features she was often mistaken as a male when in her uniform. When out of her uniform she lets her black hair down which falls to about the middle of her back but she usually twists it up into a bun. When not dressed in the shozoko she wears a emerald kimono that matches the color of her eyes. Her birthmark is located in between her shoulder blades and is shaped like the psychic symbol in the Pokemon TCG.
    ~Looks 2: When she becomes a Gerudo she takes on the traditional clothing of the Gerudo foot soldier. An example of her clothing can be found here: http://www.zeldauniverse.net/games/z...ers/gerudo.gif . Her clothing pretty much matches that except that she wears full boots rather than the sandals that the other Gerudo wear and the color of her outfit is black with gold trim rather than purple. She also gains the red hair that is common among the Gerudo which is the same length of her hair in the real world but is pulled back into a ponytail. Her face is has rounded out and her features have softened giving her a more feminine look. Her eyes have stayed the same emerald green and the stone that is embedded in her forehead is of the game color. Her birthmark has now moved to the palm of the right hand and it glows when she uses her powers.
    ~Personality: Being a kunoichi she is extremely self confidant in her fighting ability and is very secretive and quiet about her motives. She is friendly to those that she accepts and chooses as her confidants but she has a very wicked side which shows when she becomes angered. Until she gets to know a person she will not give them the time of day.
    ~Element: Spirit
    ~Weapon: Kusari-Gama ( http://www.entertheninja.com/images/wpn_kusarigama.gif ) except that the chain of hers is about five feet long and is kept around a special attachment in her shield.
    ~Shield: A diamond shaped shield that is attached to the gauntlet on her left hand. The shield covers her entire lower arm and is about a foot and a half wide. In the center of the shield is a diamond shaped emerald, the other half of the emerald that is embedded in Sayuri’s forehead when she transforms into her Gerudo form.
    ~Instrument: Lyre ( http://www.harps.com.au/c_lyre.jpg )
    ~Items: She keeps with her a small satchel created from the same material that her Gerudo uniform was crafted from in the same black color as her clothing with a long golden chain. In her satchel she has a length of rope with and a hunting knife with which to cut it, a water pouch made from the hide of one of the creatures found in the desert, some beef jerky made from the same animal, a scroll of paper, a sharpened rib bone used as a pen, a small cactus which holds her ink, and various poisons that she made and used in the real world as a kunoichi and adapted from the plants and animals in Hyrule.
    ~Spells:
    -Project: Yuri is able to disguise herself by projecting an image into the mind of those nearby. It works best when she is well rested and she does not have to fool many people.
    -Spirit Projectile: Drawing upon her spirit power she creates a ball of energy that can be thrown or rolled or shot using more spirit energy. Exploding on her command these balls of energy create a force wave knocking powerful enough to knock over a regiment of warriors. The size of the energy ball can vary from that of a marble to that of a basketball with the power and the amount of energy required to produce the projectile varying with the size.
    ~Ability: She can hold her breath for extensive periods of time and can even draw oxygen from the water around her giving her the ability to stay underwater even longer.
    ~Rage: Her hair turns black and her body glows gold with Spirit energy causing her muscle mass to increase two fold and also halving the physical damage done to her.
    ~Familiar: An Iron Knuckle she affectionately calls Kotetsu
    ~Strengths: She is fast and agile as are all Gerudo but she has the added gift of ninjitsu training making her extremely stealthy and deadly. She is very intelligent and is able to think on her feet making split second decisions even in the heat battle.
    ~Weaknesses: She is very overconfident and can get very irrational when confronted with a situation where is in danger. She also tends to jump headlong into situations where she shouldn’t. Also when she uses her powers her body becomes numb and she is open to attack for a few seconds afterwards.
    ~History: Born to a peasant in feudal Japan, she was sold at the age of two to a Ninja Grandmaster and taught the ways of the ninja. She was raised to be an assassin was amazingly good at her job deploying her feminine charms to get close to her targets.
    ~Relations: Open
    ~Other: Chokes other with the chain of her Kusari-Gama

    One Rogue, coming up!

    Rogues:
    ~Name: Frosty (At least, that's what Arnen calls him. Most everyone else calls him Frost)
    ~Age: 3 (That's a teenager for his race)
    ~Gender: Male
    ~Race: Ice Keese xD
    ~Alignment: Heroes' Ally
    ~Looks: Clicky
    ~Personality: He's rather hyper, never really thinking things through their entirety. All bluster, he never really poses much of a threat (C'mon, he's a Keese for goodness sake ). He makes a loyal friend, and although he prefers to perch on a friendly shoulder as opposed to fighting, if someone hurts his friends, he'll fly in against the odds. He is actually pretty smart, he just doesn't know it. Sometimes he'll see the answer to a puzzle clearly, or just drop a pearl of verbal wisdom.
    ~Weapon: He has claws on his feet, the tips of his wings, and his teeth, while tiny, are sharp.
    ~Armor: Later on, he acquires thin, flexible armor with magical resiliance to make his wings a little less vulnerable.
    ~Attacks:
    -(1) Freeze: He exudes an icy aura, freezing any hostiles within a few feet.
    -(2) Icy Glare: He glares into his opponents eyes, and the effect depends on their bravery. The timid freeze in terror, creatures of normal bravery feel a bit creeped out, and the brave hardly notice it.
    -(3) Velocity: He generates a short burst of speed, making him difficult to pinpoint to the normal eye.
    ~Strengths: Frost is small, so he's hard to see and can get in small spaces. He's also comfortable in climes where others would freeze to death, and speeds up the colder the air is.
    ~Weaknesses: He has practically no resistance to physical blows, and is weakened a great deal by heat in excessive amounts. His wings are very vulnerable, and are easily broken.
    ~History: Captured a cub, Frost was trained to talk and do various tricks in a circus. Eventually, he managed to pick the lock on his cage and escape. Finding it hard to get by in the world, he latched on to the first group of people he came across, which turned out to be the Heroes.
    ~Relations: After nearly getting sliced in two by her, he decides that Arnen's shoulder makes a nice perch, and befriends her. He very much dislikes Ti, and avoids him as often as possible, due to his control over fire.
    ~Other: *Freezes other and carves an ice cave in its skull*

    Name: Kaie Hamilton
    Age: 17
    Gender: Female
    Time Period: 2004, USA (Maryland, if you want specifics)
    Looks 1: Sort of on the medium/tall side, around 5'6. She's naturally thin but well built, muscles hidden very well. Her hair is a dark chocolate and hangs down a little lower than her chin. Bangs shield blue/gray eyes, enticing but deadly to look at for long. She wears a long-sleeved blue shirt and jeans with sneakers. Her birthmark is located on her right thigh
    Looks 2: Still the same height but her hair is longer and dirty blond instead of brown. Her clothes consist of a royalblue tunic, a black belt with sheathes to hold her weapons, black tights, and black boots that are sturdy yet light and comfortable. And of course, her ears are now pointy and despite everything Kaie does, they poke through her hair
    Personality: Think of her as the ultimate gamer nerd, obsessed with games like Ocarina of Time and the Mario series. She's not really the best at figuring puzzles out without help but she has plenty of spunk to persevere through anything tough that comes her way. She also has the temper to boot, especially if someone messes with her. Her parents accept her gaming ways as she pleases them by playing sports, as many as she can handle at any one time
    Element: Light
    Weapon: Twin daggers, both of the same length and build but one is encrusted with a ruby and the other, a sapphire. Both cannot rust or be destroyed in any way at all and with a little bit of energy pushed in, both can pulsate faintly with light
    Shield: Her shield looks suspiciously like the famed Mirror Shield, but the border is royalblue instead of red and in the middle, the etching is one big sun. It can reflect light though
    Instrument: A clarinet, but smaller and without a lot of the keys. Still produces the same sound though
    Items: A small, brown leather bag with two drawstrings hanging out. It contains some food, medicinal herbs and flint
    Spells:
    - Can produce light from her tips of her daggers to either blind enemies or use as a guide in darkness
    - Can heal any small-to-medium size wound, including her own. Works better when at full strength
    Ability: Has an amazing ammount of accuracy (think of Legolas and his bow and arrows). She can maim an enemy at lengths which no one can dream of even competing against
    Rage: Her hair goes pure white and eyes a bright copper. Anything emitting light is at her bidding, including the sun (which she can also use to burn things, blind foes or make plants wither)
    Familiar: A Dinolfos, who she named Orion
    Strengths: Has gymnastic-like abilites and is decent when it comes to stealth and speed
    Weaknesses: Despite playing games without any fear of it, Kaie is afraid of death and darkness. She doesn't do well at night and if there's no moon out, it can take quite a lot to get her to do something adventerous. She also can't solve puzzles without some sort of aid
    History: The only child in a regular family, she lives a pretty normal life, except without the joys of friendship. Instead of moping around, she puts all her time into her games, sports and school, becoming a well-rounded person, although she still wishes for a bond she's never had
    Relations: Open
