The Struggle Within

In the beginning, the digital and physical realms were separated by an unknown celestial force. This force was composed of the eight main elements that preserved order in the worlds: Fire, Ice, Wind, Electricity, Water, Forest, Holy, and Light. Eventually, the Digimon(Digital Monsters) that inhabited the digital realm took these eight elements and designed stones, the crests, to connect each element to a character trait that kept signs of a good life. These crests were Courage, Friendship, Love, Knowledge, Reliability, Sincerity, Justice, and Light.

Of course, in every serenity there is a storm. Around the new millenium on Earth, a "seed" of darkness was planted into the digital world. Over time, it took root and the "dusk of the Digital World" shortly began. What was born from this growth of evil was a new Digimon unlike any before, Myotismon, which originated from a simple discarded virus created by hackers in the physical world.

This virus, however, established a connection between the physical and digital worlds. And in a storm of destruction, the crests lost some of their power. However, this power was scattered across the world into the eight purest teenagers found. What was hidden in the power was a core which when activated in transfer to the Digital World, altered the physical appearance of the child in some way.

Summer 2005. Your time off from school was supposed to be filled with adventure, but instead was a boring hell. What you don't realize is that you are one of the eight implanted with data, and an adventure of a lifetime was about to occur. Deciding to give up for the rest of the afternoon, you head home to get the mail and do whatever possible.

Heading inside, you set down the bills, magazines, and other common junk, until you come across a letter without a return address, marked to you. Seeing it as odd, you open it and manage to stumble across a small device unlike any other. Even more bewildered, you pass out.

Awakening, you realize that you're now outside, not even near your home, perhaps not even in your world. You find yourself complaining of an uncomfortable feeling, and then you come across two things: a weapon, and a creature unlike any before. They speak to you, telling you why you're here, why you experienced physical change, whatever question must be answered. And then you meet up with seven others who have those same complaints. Feeling that this was your duty to save both realms from the plaguing darkness of Myotismon and his denziens, you and your allies set forth, out into the open.

Things Worth Remembering:
~If you reserve, I'll give you 48 hours at the most to get in at least part of the SU. Once you do, I'll give you around 3 or 4 days at most for completion unless you have a good excuse.
~If the GM (myself) or the co-GM (TMM) present a storyline, you can't decide just not to do it. Unless they drastically affect your character, in which case you come to us so we don't see you undoing half our story because you didn't like something.
~Alterations are a physical change experienced in the digital world that unlock some sort of ability (ie. wings, muscles, etc). In the physical world, you still have the abilities caused by the alterations, but your appearance is normal again. Try and be original, as well.(No Spider-manish abilities, and only Mike has the ability for Digimon)
~We're aiming for our international separation again. Please, no more than three per location.

Name: Laura Deirdre
Age: 15
Sex: Female
Location: Toronto, Canada
Appearance: Laura, standing at barely 6', has a mildly athletic build(slender, yet strong), and a well-curved figure that makes her seem more of an adult than the teenager she is. Her eyes, hidden behind thin-rimmed glasses, are a deep hazel color and her hair, thick and shoulderblade-length, is deep dark brown in color. Her skin is somewhat pale due to lack of sunlight.
Clothing is quite basic, mainly a black button-up over a white shirt with elbows an inch past her elbows, and jeans with a perfect fit around the waist that seem to cover a part of her grey and teal sneakers. Jewelry is mainly a black cord necklace with a silver dragon's foot grasping a small cobalt blue orb.
Personality: Laura is a mainly friendly person, more to just sit back because of her shyness. Calm on the outside, deep down she can be somewhat depressive and self-depricant. She tries to push out those feelings, yet is quiet in how she doesn't know what to do other than bottle them up. Outside of that, she is quite intelligent and mature.
Alteration: Muscularity - With this, Laura's muscles increase greatly making her thickly muscular, winning her nicknames such as "She-Hulk" and "Xena". Her physical strength is much greater, too.

Digimon: Snowmon (Miranda)
Digivice Color: Silver-grey with deep blue buttons.
Weapon: A large, light boomerang similar to Sango's Hiraikotsu in InuYasha. This, however, is slightly paler in color and emits a frigid aura.
History: Laura was born in Vermont and lived the first years of her life there. She understood things much quicker than the average child, and understood that her parents kept fighting when she was four. Eventually they divorced, and Laura was forced to move to Maine with her mother, managing to withstand two years of insults from her mother and step-father. She was found by social services, and relocated back in Montpelier with her aunt. They eventually moved to Toronto.
In Canada, Laura lived a peaceful, average life, making good grades, working out to keep herself in the shape she inherited, and the inevitable taunts by her classmates. These were mainly because she was an American, yet this is no way affected her political views. In the comfort of Mike Silvern since around the time she was ten or eleven, their friendship over the years developed into a commited relationship.

Name: Snowmon
Type: Puppy
Class: Vaccine
Appearance: Snowmon, quite basic, resembles a small American Eskimo Dog, with eyes that are a innocent grey color. Her somewhat glittery fur has dark blue stripes along her back.
Personality: Snowmon, or as Laura calls her "Miranda", is a rather calm, shy character, but friendly and willing to cheer somebody up. She seems to understand Laura's sorrow, so she, in return, is a bit defensive of her.
Attacks:
Yuki no Inu - Deirdre fires a small beam of ice from her mouth.
Crystal Winter - Her eyes darting at you, she leaps over and shoots small shards of ice from the claws concealed in her forepaws.

Champion:
Name: Freyamon
Type: Beast
Class: Data
Appearance: She looks a lot like Kirara/Kilala on InuYasha(the beast form, of course), except her fur is a deep blue color and her fangs aren't as large. Her eyes are now a dark grey which seems to hide emotion easily, and where flames are normally at her paws, there are silver ribbons(none around the mouth).
Personality: Freyamon is compassionate and fearless, willing to help an ally as much as she can. Despite how her appearance is slightly intimidating, she is truely a kind-hearted soul.
Attacks:
Frozen Ribbons - Freyamon extends her paw ribbons and slashes her opponent(s) with them.
The Spirit's True Nature - She breathes a beam of ice from her mouth.
Winter Gale - Developing an aura of ice, Freyamon rushes swiftly at her target.

Ultimate:
Name: Epiphanymon
Type: Spirit
Class: Data
Appearance: Much like Haku's beast form in Spirited Away(the wolf/dragon thing), except more feminine and a bit more furrier. Her mane is a deep blue and her eyes are a tealish color.
Personality: Epiphanymon is headstrong, highstrung, and a bit stubborn, but her heart is both compassionate and cold at times. With a sense of wisdom and intimidation looming about her, she is usually quiet.
Attacks:
Koori Orb - Epiphanymon forms a snowball between her forepaws and seemingly 'tosses' it into the air, then whacking it with her tail, which sends it flying at an opponent.
Epiphany Blaze - She fires a beam of ice at an opponent at a slightly swift pace.
Blue January - The temperature in Epiphanymon's mouth dramatically drops and she bites down on her opponent.

Mega:
Name: Arctiamon
Type: Sorceress
Class: Data
Appearance: Arctiamon greatly resembles the female figure shown here; her eyes and hair the same luminous silver, her skin fair, and slender build of a height of 6'4". Her clothing quite the same, she also has a staff of black with a snowflake resting on its top, holding a crescent moon inside.
Personality: Quiet and mysterious much like Laura, Arctiamon is quite the main idea for an enchantress. Her appearance is luring, and what ability she has can be deadly. She seems to sometimes only trust Laura, considering the cold aura she emits.
Attacks:
Silent Winter Nights - As the snowflake of her staff gently illuminates with a soft aura resembling the night, it emits a beam of ice.
Wolfish Disguise - Draping herself with gusts of wind, she summons a wind spirit resembling a wolf which dashes at her target.
Gale of Moons - She draws the crescent moon out of her staff and duplicates it until quite a few are formed. These shruiken star-like objects of ice are then thrown, healing an ally or damaging an opponent.
Frozen Sympathy - If Silent Winter Nights freezes her target, Arctiamon will cast a spell on her staff which transforms the end of her staff into a blade for a short amount of time. Dashing right to her target, she'll slash through the block of ice. This attack being her strongest, it drains a lot of her energy.

[Haruko]

Name:Miyoko Imai
Age: 15
Sex: Female
Location: Sapporo, Japan.
Appearance: Look's similar to this, with her hair being of a very full and rich brown color with a blue clip on her hair[similar to the picture]. Her skin is soft and fair and looks like it's radiating, especially when she's happy. The shirt she wears is similar to the one in the photo, with the darkened part being a deep blue and the rest of it is white. Her pants are khaki in color and do not have the belt that is shown in the picture. Her shoes are completely white. She has a very mature build, with a chest thats not flat but not really big, and stands around at 5'5". Her eyes, however, are what capture most people's intrest. One iris, her left one, is a sky blue color white the other one is brown color that has some blue shading around the pupil. This is due to Somatic Mosaicism, which, when a fetus is devloping, one cell mutated with the eye color gene. This one cell created her right eye, which is brown, while the other cell which created her left eye grew "normally" into a blue colored eye.

In the digital world, her shirt changes just so that the deep blue part is now light pink, and the clip in her hair is light pink aswell.
Personality: Let me get this straight, Miyoko is a very shy person. She tends not to speak unless spoken to, and when she does speak, she'll speak softly and say almost close to nothing. She tends to day dream a lot..but the one thing that catches her intrest is computers and any electronic device. When tinkering around with any electronic device, it's very hard to catch Miyoko's attention. Miyoko, although somewhat of a introvert that keeps her emotions locked up, has no problems protecting the people around her and tends to do as much as she can. She's very prone to mistakes in some situations and tends to tense up if anyone yells at her. The one thing that annoys her is rain. Whenever it's rainny out, or it's going to rain, you can tell by Miyoko looking pale or walking quickly to the next destination.
Alteration:
Wings: The major alteration in Miyoko's appearance come from these big wings on her back that have a wingspan of 5 feet and 5 inches. They're of a light pink color to match her shirt, and are similar to swans wings/angel wings. These allow her to fly[Although she has to use her own energy to do so] and to float along in the thermals.
Crest/Element: Love/Wind
Digimon: Fuumon
Digivice Color: White base with light pink buttons
Weapon: A wakazashi with a blade of 40 cm, the handle is wrapped around with a light pink material and a white material. The scabbard is completely white, with Miyoko's name ingraved in it's kanji on the bottom part of it.
History: Growing up all her life, Miyoko has always been popular to the kids at school because of her "cool" eyes and "American" like brown hair. However, while she might get some attention at school, she gets almost none at home. Her older brother, Yukito, and her younger sister, Miaka, take any any attention that Miyoko needs inorder to feel 'wanted'. The only attention Miyoko gets is when the computers in the house or at her dads work are infected with a virus or need to be upgraded, or when they want to buy a new computer or electronic device.
Relationships: None, is limited to some due to her language barrier, unless some want to be friends with her anyway.
Other: Miyoko has a veryy hard time speaking english, which might lead to it being almost not understandable due to her accent or the sentence is broken, like when she says "What your name?", she tends to mean "What's your name?"

---Rookie
Name: Fuumon[Fuu is the on-reading for the kanji for wind][Called Fuu-chan! most of the time]
Type: Small Bird
Class: Vaccine
Appearance: Small enough to perch on your shoulder and not weigh you down, Fuumon is around..6 inches tall without counting the long, ribbon like tail she has, which is a white that fades into light pink near the end. Her eyes are human like and have a light pink iris and a black pupil. Her feathers are a pure white,along with her wings, which have a span of around a foot.
Personality: Almost as quiet as Miyoko is, Fuumon can act like a translator for Miyoko for Enligh to Japanese, and Japanese to english. She has a hard time wondering why Miyoko only shows her 'happy' emotions and not emotions of depression. She protects Miyoko at all costs and when needed, also protects anyone else in the team.
Attacks:
1.Gentle Breeze: Her wings glow in a gentle light, and release a wind with little light pink energy scythes.
2.Chirp: A simple attack that isn't pronounced, Fuumon's chirps make the wind in the area increase from a breeze to a gust.
Element: Wind

---Champion
Name: Hitomimon
Type: Young Human-Bird Chimera
Class: Data
Appearance: Bearing the resemblance of a 6 year old Japanese-girl with black hair to her shoulders, her eyes are light pink, much similar to her Rookie form. Her skin is pale while she wears a white shirt and light pink pants. On her back are wings that have a span of around 3 foot 6, that are pure white with hints of light pink. Her nails are similar to claws/talons, while she doesn't wear any shoes. She tends to carry a plush-form of her rookie form.
Personality: Very shy and almost acts like a little girl unless she's on the battlefield, Hitomimon[Also called Hitomi-chan] tends to protect only Miyoko, and tends to cling to Miyoko aswell. On the battlefield, however, Hitomimon's personality does a 180...she can be quite fierce.
Attacks:
1.Stuffed-Animal Requiem: Placing a bit of her energy in the plush form of Fuumon, it acts like it's a living thing. It then flies away from Hitomimon and to the opponent, and is explosive on contact. The stuffing reforms into the Fuumon-plush aftewards.
Element: Wind

Location: Birmingham, Alabama
Appearance: 5'3", African American, medium build. Her hair is worn in a ponytail. Clothing consists of a khaki skirt and a white blouse, with brown sandals. She wears glasses with black frames. She wears a silver necklace around her neck, and a watch on her right wrist.
Personality: She's very outgoing and carefree, but she could use a little courage. Despite her sometimes loud mouth and sarcastic personality, she can be very thoughtful and logical. She's very realistic, which is why she first thinks she's in a very realistic dream when she first ends up in the Digital World. She loves a good joke or puzzle.
Alteration: Her eyes are yellow now, and somehow she doesn't need glasses.
Crest/Element: Knowledge/Thunder
Digimon: Teddimon
Digivice Color: Yellow with purple buttons.

History: Shonta's parents are very important business people, so she's usually with her aunt. She maintains good grades at school and has a few friends. Because of summer vacation, though, her friends are all over the globe and she's stuck at her aunt's house playing video games.

Name: Teddimon

Type: Bear Cub
Looks: Like a walking teddy bear, Teddimon stands about 2 feet standing up on his hind legs with smooth brown fur and beady black eyes. His paws are more like hands with three fingers. He has a black diamond on his forehead and two horizontal stripes on his back. His claws are short but sharp.
Personality: He's the wannabe tough guy, but he's reckless and tends to underestimate the opponent. Impatient and sometimes sarcastic, he wants to be stronger as much as he wants to make friends. He has a soft side, after all.
Stage: Rookie
Attacks:
1. Paw Slam: Just like it says, he hits with his paw with surprising force.
2. Spark Needles: Small needles of electricity shoots from his claws.
Element: Thunder

Champion
Name: Kodiakmon
Virus/Vaccine/Data: Data
Type: Black Bear
Looks: He switches to walking on all fours and is now seven feet at the shoulder. He looks like a real bear now, save for his long tail and pointy ears. His eyes are a blood red with no pupil. His fur is now black, and the diamond mark on his forehead and his stripes are gold, including a lightning-shaped mark on each of his legs. His claws and teeth are a lot sharper.
Personality: Less talkative, with a colder attitude. He barely interacts with Shonta on this stage, almost unconcerned about her. This changes, though.
Stage: Champion
Attacks:
1. Thunder Roar: he can fire a roar that can shake the earth itself. His opponents are usually too busy covering their ears and trying to stay standing to block other attacks.
2. Lightning Spears: basically a more powerful version of Teddimon's Spark Needles.
Element: Thunder

Ultimate
Name: Grizzlimon
Virus/Vaccine/Data: Data
Type: Bear
Looks: He stands on two feet now and is ten feet tall. He keeps the coloring of Bearmon, but his fangs are longer, making him look like a saber-tooth tiger. He wears black shorts and a necklace made of bear teeth. His tail is now shortened to a stub.
Personality: Mysterious character, he shows his true feelings to no one but Shonta. His recklessness has dimmed down a bit since he was Bearmon.
Stage: Ultimate
Attacks: Thunder Roar: See Bearmon's stage.
Grizzly Punch: A closed-fisted version of Teddimon's Paw Slam.
Lightning Cannon: Grizzlimon launches a large orb of electric energy out of his mouth. Multiple uses of this can tire him out.
Element: Thunder

Mega
Name: Polarmon
Virus/Vaccine/Data: Vaccine
Type: Polar Bear
Looks: His marks from the Bearmon stage have changed into blue snowflakes and his fur overall is a snowy white. His eyes are a clear blue. He's only eight feet tall, but still on two legs. He carries a staff topped with the same snowflake symbol as the ones on her body. Two small, feathery wings are on his back, but they're too small for flying.
Personality: He has adopted Shonta's carefree personality. He won't fight unless it's necessary. Even when he does fight, he always gives his opponent a chance to surrender.
Stage: Mega
Attacks: Lightning Shower: Polarmon holds his staff high in the air, summoning bolts of lightning from above. It is difficult to avoid this attack.
Snow Barrage: Pointing his staff in front of her, Polarmon sends a barrage of snow at his enemy, sometimes even freezing them.
Nice as Ice: A cool breeze shoots from Polarmon's staff, healing minor injuries. This doesn't work if Polarmon is too injured.
Crystal Cage: Polarmon spins around with his staff and generates a shield of ice. Multiple powerful attacks can shatter this, however. He can also get distracted and the shield can disappear that way.
Element: Thunder/Ice

Classy: Is it alright to assume that the eyes include super-vision?(Not neccasarily x-ray/heat, but she can see much farther than a human with 20/20 could?

Also - I confirmed it outside TPM with kikyo that the powers WILL carry over out of the digital world without the looks(I.e Poli can fly, and it'll strain her backmuscles as if wings were there, and but she can manuever as if the wings weren't there.)

Name: Austin Sutherland
Age: 14
Sex: Male
Location: Sapporo, Japan
Appearance: He’s pretty tall for his age almost 6 feet tall, but very lanky with long arms and long legs giving him a very shaggy like appearance. He has soft skin with almost no hint of a tan, he has hazel eyes and short cut blond hair. He does have a hint of pimples on his left cheek. He wears a white shirt with a gray jacket over it; the jacket has black trim over it. He wears regular blue jeans that are a bit frayed and have brown stains near the bottom of them from being near dirt a lot.
Personality: He really doesn’t mind what anyone says about him but he does have a pretty quick temper when it comes to things, some times he will shrug things off, other times he will jump you for the littlest thing. He’s very nervous around girls and has a tendency to sweat a lot while around them. He went to Japan to finish training to become a Eagle Scout thus he holds the Boy Scout code very close to his heart, he prides himself on the code and being reliable to everyone.
Alteration: Webbed Hands/Feet: He has webbed hands and feet which basically consists of a thin layer of skin between his fingers and feet that expands when exposed to water allowing for quicker travel
Crest/Element: Reliability/Water
Digimon: Mermon
Digivice Color: A white Digivice base with light blue buttons
Weapon: A wooden handle trident with the actual weapon part being made out of metal, the two sides of it are very jagged and look like they have been in several battles, while the middle knife is smooth and polished with the symbol of water at the tip of the blade.
History: Austin went to Japan during the summer to finalize the last requirement of his to be an Eagle scout, He’s originally from Birmingham Alabama where he grew up there most of his life. Austin’s life has been pretty sheltered, he has never really had to work for anything nor has he ever been in a life-threatening situation, his trip to Japan was actually his first time ever away from his home.

Name: Mermon
Type: Sea Creature Digimon
Class: Data
Appearance: It looks like a tiny young boy no larger than 3 feet tall, at his waste instead of having legs he has a long dolphin tail which he controls to move around. Instead of actually flopping around on dry land he glides through the air using his tail to move around as if he was swiming.
Personality: He's naturaly curious he will go where he is not told to go and usually ends up in a lot of trouble, he cannot help but to over turn every rock and look into every cave.
Attacks:
Bubble Blast: He gathers up air and shoots out a barrage of bubbles at his opponent each exploding on contact.
Element: Water

Champion
Name: Seadramon
Type: Sea Snake Digimon
Class: Virus
Appearance: It has the body of a long snake which has mostly green scales with splotches of red and blue, it's tail is tipped with a spear and it's head looks more like a dragon with a yellow head with fins on the side of it's face right behind the eyes, it has green slit eyes and a blue jaw.
Personality: It's very hungry it goes around eating everything it can get it's beak on. Sometimes during battle it can get very violent and takes time to calm down.
Attacks:
Water Blast: It shoots out a long torrent of water from it's snout, the longer it uses the attack the weaker it gets.

Glare: It's eyes flicker red and is used to stare down a opponent to try and weaken it and catch it off guard.
Element: Water

Ultimate
Name: Dorugoramon * From the new movie *
Type: Water Dragon
Class: Virus
Appearance: It's form now is that of a dragon, it's neck, head, and tail is red while the body is black. It has long blue wings coming out of it's back and razor sharp claws. It has a long tail with fins every few feet on it that help move it through water. The top half of it's muzzle is covered with metal with deep blue eyes. From tail to snout it measures a good thirty feet in length.
Personality: It's very violent and sometimes doesnt even listen to June, it's nature is of a scavenger it will feast off of dead bodies. It is at home the most in the sea where it can surprise enimies.
Attacks:
Ocean Beam: It rears it's head back and shoot's out a huge blast of water, inside the blast are small creatures that look like tiny crabs that explode on contact.

Ocean Sphere: When near water it gathers a huge bubble of water over it's head and hurals it at it's opponent.
Element: Water

Mega
Name: Death Dorugoramon * From the new movie *
Type: Deadly Water Dragon
Class: Virus
Appearance: It's now twice the length of Dorugoramon, and double the height, it remains a deep blue on the tail and neck, but now has three tails each with long fins on them. It's long dragon wings now have huge glaws jutting out of them. The top of it's head is still covered in metal, but now at it's snout it has a nuge metal horn sticking straight up in the air.
Personality: Death Dorugoramon is very violent it likes to torture it's opponents by stepping on them and slowly crushing them. It has a urge to eat almost all the time and usually spends it's time in the ocean or in the air hunting.
Attacks:
Ocean Blast: It shoots out a beam of white light, when it hits a opponent it creates a bubble of instant water around the opponent keeping the opponent from being able to breath for a few seconds, meanwhile the water takes energy from the opponent and gives it back to him, this attack is it's strongest and can only be used after gathering up water.

Oceanic World: When near water it summons up water and ground all around him and creates a sphere above his head, he then tosses the sphere at his opponent.

Thanks TMM I lost that site a while back and had to use my very limited knowledge of the first season and a bit of my imagination to come up with it. The character is now changed to more acuratly reflect it's true self.
