    Default Random Pokeball/ Breeding Question

Is there anyway to get pokemon that you've bred & hatched from an egg into a pokeball of your choice? I'm breeding a Misdreavus & I'd really like it to be in a Premeir Ball, but everytime I breed my pokemon they seem to end up in the classic Pokeball. Any ideas would be very helpful. Thanks!

[color=magenta]Meh, I don't think that there is any way for hatched Pokémon to be in anything except for the regular PokéBall, unless there is a code for a cheating device (like Action Replay) that allows for you to change what kind of PokéBall that your Pokémon are in.

On a somewhat related note: Something I have always wondered... When a Pokémon hatches from an egg, where in the world does the PokéBall that it lives in come from?! I mean, your inventory of PokéBalls doesn't decrease whenever a Pokémon hatches. (or when Nincada evolves into Ninjask and Shedinja... unlike popular belief, you only need an open space in your party when Nincada evolves to get a Shedinja, you don't actually need a PokéBall.)

Good question. I know in the anime when Ash got his Phanpy egg they gave it to him in a special container & built into the cover of the container was a free pokeball to catch the pokemon with after it hatched. I don't know if we're supposed to assume the it works the same way in the game.

Thanks for answering my question. That's too bad, I was hoping that maybe if I only had 1 ball w/ me it would go to that one or something. Then I could just deposit all my pokeballs & leave 1 Premier ball. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to have all my pokemon in the same balls.

True because a Cheat Device can change the Byte Data of that image of a Pokeball to any type of Pokeball.

The problem there is, what if the only Pokeball you have is your Master Ball? Mr Magikarp hatches and bam, it's gone to waste.
