Aurora Ticket for UK

I found out yesterday that you can download your Aurora Ticket to take you to Birth Island for free at VUE Cinema on certain dates. The Aurora Ticket is only for Pokemon FR/LG because Pokemon Emerald hasn't been released in the UK yet. You'll need to take your GBA (SP), Pokemon FR/LG, and your Wireless Adaptor for your free Aurora Ticket.

Croyden Grants - 8th + 9th October
Cheshire Oaks - 15th + 16th October
North Finchley - 22nd + 23rd October
Leeds - 25th + 26th October
Leicester - 27th + 28th October
Birmingham - 29th + 30th October
Bristol Cribbs - 5th + 6th November

Anyone going to go to this Event? I don't think I'll be able to go because the dates are dodgy and they're all so far away from me.

Where the hell are any of those places? I live up north so I'm way away I think. And even so, driving for at hour to get the ticket seems...too far. Although having Deoxys would be really cool...I just can't get there :-/

They're the names of the VUE Cinemas so you'll need to figure out where exactly they are. Or you could google VUE Cinema and find their main website that gives the addresses for all their cinema locations. I think getting to these Events would be a big problem for most people like myself unless you live in a major city or very close to one. The cheapest way now really is sharking a way to the Islands. After October it does mean Deoxys is legal for the UK so if you teleport to Birth Island via sharking and catch Deoxys you'll still have it kind of legally.

I'm going!! I live like, 20 mins from Leeds!! *claps hands* finally, a Nintendo event that I know about before it happens and is near to me! If anyone else is going to the Leeds Vue cinema, which used to be The Light, for anyone who knoows Leeds, then we should wear, like, badges or something!! Heh...that'd be fun!!

Oh yeah, the events are all in England, for any curious Americans! heh...

FINALLY. It may be like an hours drive away but you can bet your ass I'm going. Nintendo have finally got off their asses for the UK... for once. Yay, I'm so pleased.

If I could be bothered to play the game that much anymore, they're stilll too far away to be worth going to (unless I went out on a shopping trip to Leeds on the correct date, but I doubt that'd happen).

I wonder if it'll be like last time where there'll be a lonely guy who'll sit there all day doing nigh on nothing. Damn I felt sorry for him.

From reports of there being Pokemon card tradings and stuff it should be more popular than just a man in a corner. Instead of wasting money on petrol/bus/train you could just buy a cheat device for less than £20 and be sorted. It would provide you with all Tickets for Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald/FR/LG. There's nothing wrong with warping to the Islands if you're going to catch the rare Pokemon legally. It's just been my views on these Pokemon Events all along unless they're nearby.

It sounds cool, i work in leeds so might drop by for it but for anyone who's not familiar with that one. Its a tiny little place crammed into a shopping arcade.
Sure its got plenty of large screens etc but not much Foyer space. Dont expect room for Huge crowds, TCG events etc.

That's probably what most older people would want to do. Make a run for it before kids see we still play Pokemon. Unless you want to battle with a few kids there but the problem with that is they might be Uber abusers or not even have a Team of Level 100 Pokemon.
