Thread: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Manga (Edited Version)

Default The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Manga (Edited Version)

Have you ever seen the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Manga? I was reading it, and thought that other people would want to know about it if they never saw it before. If you are a Zelda fan, this is definitely something that you wouldn't want to miss.

I think it does a great job of graphically telling the story of the Nintendo game from the N64. Seeing as you guys like art, I think that you would enjoy the manga. Even if you never played the game, it is a great adventure story that you wouldn't want to miss. It is High-Action, and gives things from a perspective that you don't get from the game, such as why Link has an earring, or what the meaning is behind the teardrop in the eye symbol on Sheik's chest.

    It can be found here:

or my edited version can be found here:

Last year, I was reading the manga, and wanted to share it with a friend of mine. There wasn't much, but I knew that he would enjoy it more if it didn't have any profanity, so I edited the manga. Wherever I found any profanity I just cut it out (using the Painting program in AppleWorks), or replaced it with other expressions from the manga; whichever looked best. I didn't change any of the art, so it is exactly the same as the original Translated-to-English version except that there is no profanity.

So.........if you have never read the Ocarina of Time Manga, I would highly recommend reading it. If you would prefer not seeing profanity, you can read my version, and if you don't care, you can just read the version at Zelda Legends.

Hey cool! Although, this really doesn't belong here.

Since this is the fan art forum, it is for just that: Fan Art, or pictures that you've drawn. I'd move it to Other Anime and Manga, but I know that have a rule against posting links to stuff that's been licensed in America. EDIT: since this does seem to have been licensed, I'm locking it.

Nothing bad, just really there's no place for this here.

    Toodles.
