A Pokémon/Digimon/etc. Parody: A Manga About Me And My Classmates

[Mikachu Yukitatsu]

This may be my second post in Fan Art...

This is a comic I made summer 2003, when I still was in lukio (high school). Its original language is Finnish, but I fin(n)ished translating it this morning (That took a long time, huh!). Only some less important texts are still in Finnish.

Inspired by the Finnish version of Dragonball manga, translated straight from Japanese to English without any mirroring, also this comic is read from right to left, eventhough the texts run in Western direction.

I know I do not know how to shadow at all, and the speaking balloons are left quite ugly. Also perhaps you won't understand this comic because you don't know my classmates. Here it is anyway.

ok. I'll be blunt. It was good, but in terms of TIME spent on the drawings, there was a little to be desired. Also, i found that the cluttered messiness and occasionally poor attmempts at humor (although some were funny) caused me to get very confused and not have any idea whats happening, such as where pikachu turns into a high italian and gets attacked by bowser who calls him Mikachu and trips and falls into some sort of pink juice. I also noticed frequent attempts to have an excuse to show women's breasts.

Overall, it was decent for a first try and i don't mean to discourage you, just give you truthful tips for next time.

It is me, Mikael 'Mikachu Yukitatsu' Tanska, who turns into Mario. And the Bowser falls into lava. I didn't find out how the scanner I was using turned some red points pink.

I also noticed frequent attempts to have an excuse to show women's breasts.

Just where? If you mean the transformation of Sailor Maarit, it shows the breasts just as much as in the original version of Sailor Moon cartoon.

Anyway, thanks for your opinions and thanks in advance for the opinions of other people, too.

ok its cool man, i know from personal experience its difficult to create a masterpiece while working with a group becuz everone has their different points of view and stuff.
