Yes MH I know you don't have an open slot, but neither do I. I just want to settle a match between ourselves as soon as we get an open slot.

GHPF Arena

This arena is a highly dangerous Arena as the setting is 'Gengars and Haunters Pokemon Forum'. Its a virtual world that contains all kinds of different settings.

You have 4 different aspects of the arena.

Announcements Chamber: A rather easy going part of GHPF. Its a plain field with 8 speakers. At random times these speakers will hurl various sounds at you, infliction various damage and/or recovery.

Team Rating chambers: Three very high towers in the center of a grassy field. You can get flamed at by spirits that will result in a -7% Health loss.

Dark Chamber: A dark dungeon with mystical powers, only second stage evolution pokemon can enter here. Not much is known about it, except for the fact that moderators control it.

Games Chamber: The pride and joy of GHPF. ANYTHING can happen here. There is a black virtual portal between the three Team Rating towers, once you enter there you land in a square chamber that is completely white. There is no floor nor ceiling, you can walk on the walls and all attacks go in a circle, so beware when you fire an attack, because they might go round when they miss and finally arrive in your back. You can get an energy or health boost, energy or health decrease a OHKO all from outside effects. Beware when entering this part of GHPF, it's the most dangerous part off all.

Each battle starts in the Announcement Chamber

We will need a ref for it, but referees this is going to be a single match, but a lot of the special affects of this battle can only be unlocked by you. So if you're taking this, you take the major burden of handeling the originality and the FUN with it.

Go, Slim Thug! I'm guessing we're in the announcement chamber! Well, I want you to start of with a widespread heat wave, hopefully frying all of the speakers and taking Bellsprout by surprise! Then I want you to blow Bellsprout back into Frostfire with an aerial ace! Finish with a hot flamethrower!

I'm still a bit confused on the arena. Do we start off in one part of arena and stays, or can we move on to the next part of the arena? Please explain on this.

The first round starts at the Announcements Chamber: A rather easygoing part of GHPF. It’s a plain field with 8 speakers. At random times these speakers will hurl various sounds at you, infliction various damage and/or recovery.

Prebattle

Today is an anticipated day, for both the newly appointed referee, and the two trainers, MeLoVeGhOsTs (shorten to MLG) and Mega Horny (shorten to MH). It is understood that that both of the trainers are looking forward for this match since the last few days, and now would be the time.

For this battle, both battlers chose the CHPF Arena, a strange, virtual battle place, which also turns out to be the forum from which both battlers are also residing. The referee motioned both battlers to step into the first part of the arena, the Announcement Chambers, a plain field with 8 suspicious looking speakers.

MLG chose his Pokemon; Demeter, the female Bellsprout. MH grinned, as he chose his male Growlithe, Slim Thug (guess on the gender is on the name), a cheap tactics, seeing as he has the type advantage. The referee then step besides the trainers, signalling for the match to start.

Round One~ Begin!

Slim Thug gave an evil look on his face, thinking that he has the type advantage. Demeter, on the other hand was giving a dull look, seemingly not bothered by the type disadvantage. Following MH’s order, Slim Thug then breathed in deeply, summoning a lot of his inner fire power.

However, Demeter was prepared, as she suddenly launched a bright flash of light, which temporarily blinded the Growlithe. Slim Thug shrugged off the attack, but by doing so, he accidentally lets out the Heat Wave, which did destroy some of the speaker (5/8), but only a speckle of the attack hit Demeter (5%), leaving a small flame on one of her leaves.

Slim Thug then hurled his body, sending off a sonic boom of air towards Demeter. However, in doing so, he was unaware of the Sleep Powder that was launched towards him at the same moment. The Aerial Ace merely cut through the powder, unsuccessfully stopping the attack, but it had travelled far to cut Demeter (8%)

Due to his carelessness, Slim Thug had inhaled the powder, but before he was knocked out, he manages to collect his energy to launch a Flamethrower. To his dismay, Demeter began to spin in a circle, which not only raised her own inner power, but also deflect off the Flamethrower with the wind produced along with the Sword Dance. In addition, the flame on her leaves was also put out. Demeter gave a strange smile with her cup-shaped mouth, as Slim Thug fell down, asleep.

Great reffing ^^, but you should make notice that my attack went up with 2 levels.

First start off with Double Team, then use Slugdebomb twice for some good STABbed, Swordsdanceboosted damage!

Ok, if slim thug wakes up on the first action, jump above Bellsprout and use flamethrower, like Ash in his battle with Bugsy's swords dance. Then dig a hole to avoid Sludgebomb and send a tornado of flames out to roast the second sludge and hit Bell Sprout.

If the second, do the same but replace flamethrower with Snore

If the third, do Snore, sleep talk (jump above) flamethrower

If never, just do snore, sleep talk, sleep talk

Round Two~ Begin!

Demeter started off with a Double Team, quickly creating 5 copy of her. Slim Thug shuddered in his dream as he heard his trainer order to wake up. His chest heaved up and down, as he suddenly started to snore. No, this isn’t any snoring; this a Snore attack! Two of Demeter’s clone that happened to be near Slim Thug was knocked back by the subsonic wave, and disappeared into thin air.

Appearing to be unharmed, Demeter proceeds to fire off a glob of poison. Slim Thug’s eyes suddenly opened wide. He was awake! He quickly did what his trainer told him; dig a hole to dodge from Sludge Bomb. Slim Thug’s paws quickly make their way into the soft ground, and in seconds he was underground.

Slim Thug suddenly let out a howl of pain from the depth. It appeared that a bit of Sludge Bomb were clinging to his rear foot (6% damage). MLG grinned, knowing that the Growlithe was hurt.

MLG ordered Demeter to launched another Sludge Bomb towards the newly dug hole. MH however was not easily panicked. He waited until Demeter was on the right path, and ordered Slim Thug to release Fire Spin. A tornado of fire blew out from the hole, and Demeter, along with one of her clones was caught off guard, and they were soon trapped in the vortex (8% damage). The Sludge Bomb fizzled in the heat, and a nasty purple smoke surrounded the fire tornado.

Demeter managed to free herself from the vortex, but now both her leaves were burned. Her usually straight pose was slightly affected by the heat of fire spin, and her head lolled left and right. Slim Thug barked happily from the hole, but then whimpered, as he felt a sharp stinging pain on his rear foot (2% damage from the acidic effect of Sludge Bomb). Both trainers looked at their Pokemon with concern, as the round ends.

Arena remains the same. The remaining speakers are starting to shake even rapidly, but then suddenly stopped. The Fire Spin still remained above the hole, but it was starting to lose both its power and momentum.

1 more round before the speakers kick off, 2 more round before a change of the arena part. Slim Thug received some minor damage, but his energy is drained a lot.

Ok Slim Thug. Lets do this. Start off with a safeguard, then hit Bellsprout with two more flamethrowers from above. If the thingds go off during one of the flamethrowers, replace it with roar to block out most of the noise, since Growlithe is used to its own voice and scare Bell Sprout.

Holy ****, I thought I already posted attacks. I was almost going to post a reply to remind the ref. Silly me.

Ok, while he safeguards use Encore so he continues to, even when the speakers go off. Then use a Sludgebomb to get him down. Finish with Sleeppowder.

If the speakers go off during the first part, keep Encore if they go off during the second or third part switch your current attack with Protect to protect from the speakers, not Roar since he won't do it.

Round Three~ Begin!

Slim Thug got out of the hole that he dug earlier, with determination on his face. Immediately, he set up a silver shield before him, protecting him from any status harm. But wait, what is this? Demeter is clapping for Slim Thug? How come?

Slim Thug, unaware of the speakers that began to shake violently, suddenly felt that he was doing a good job indeed. So, he once again set up a silver shield before him. Demeter, on the other hand, looked cautiously at the speakers. Minute passed, but nothing came out from the speakers. Thinking that all is safe, Demeter fired off a glob of poison right towards Slim Thug, between his eyes (10% damage). Normally, that attack would cause a temporary blind, but due to the Safeguard that was set up twice, Slim Thug only received some minor burns, if not, none at all.

Then something unexpected happened; the speakers went off! Both Pokemon know what this meant; time to switch to subs. Slim Thug roared at the top of his voice to outlast the noise, while Demeter sets up a protective barrier before him. But alas for her, the clones that she created earlier were all destroyed. After some moment, the speaker died down, and both Pokemon stopped their defensive attack. But just as they were about to move for the next round, they heard an announcement:

“Next round, there will be a shift of arena!”

MLG and MH gulped. If that is so, then they better act fast…

No, I don't think that how it goes.

In the topic, it said that :
Clear Sky ~Moonlight~ Flamethrower

It stated in the attack description that if was encored, then it would be Clear Skies twice followed by Flamethower.

Here's a direct quote:

Encore: The victim’s trainer’s orders are rewritten so that the last move taken is done again, overwriting whatever was there before. The victim pokémon will be under the mistaken impression that it has successfully carried out its trainer’s orders, so ordering substitutions to bypass Encore is an exercise in futility. For instance, if a Clefable’s attack orders were “Clear Skies, Moonlight until successful, and then Flamethrower if you have time” and the Clear Skies was Encored, the Clefable would Clear Skies twice and then Flamethrower, under the mistaken impression that its second order was successful. However, it is difficult to maintain this illusion if the Encore is overused. Excellent but decreasing accuracy.

Ok, first, send a stream of flames at Demeter to burn up the sludgebomb. Then, use Overheat to blow off any vines and stuff he tries to get you with. After thats over with, try to burn him with yet another flame thrower.

Round Four~ Begin!

The next moment, we won’t know where we’ll land

Demeter launched off a powerful Sludgebomb towards Slim Thug.

That’s really one big Sludgebomb, Demeter thought to herself.

No! Slim Thug countered with a steady stream of flame. Demeter managed to dodge from the flame, but nevertheless she received minor burn (5% damage).

Demeter was not deterred. Her vines lengthen until they were a good two feet. Satisfied, she threw them towards Slim Thug in hope of wrapping the vines around him. Big mistake! Slim Thug summoned all his inner fire power the moment Demeter began to lengthen her vines. And Demeter rushing towards her only made things better.

In an instant, Demeter was engulfed in a fiery hell…

There was a bright flash of light…

They were now high up a tower, surrounded by two similar towers at the same height.

Demeter was lying down on one side, scorched badly (12% damage) while Slim Thug was still standing; although one could clearly see that he was exhausted from the last Overheat.

He waited a few minute to gain his fire power back. Finally, he found back the energy needed to perform a Flamethrower attack. He showed no mercy, and launched the spray of fire towards the Bellsprout. However, the damage is quite low (6% damage) due to the fact that Overheat had drawn a lot of his fire power.

And just as he was about to sit down, Slim Thug was burned down by some mysterious force (7% damage). Although he himself is a fire type, the flame managed to damage him quite badly.

In the end, both Pokemon lied down on the floor of the rooftop.

Ok Demeter use Swordsdance in the opposite direction of the firespin so it will vanish if it would ever get near you, which I doubt, furthermore boosting your attack power. Then throw in an enormous Sludgebomb at Slim Thug. Finish with Vinewhip as Slim Thug fires off another Firespin to the buildings, grab him and throw him off of the tower!

Swordsdance ~ Slugebomb ~ Vinewhip.

Also MH, we're on top of a tower, there is no grass there to burn.

Round Five~ Begin!

And so here we are, on top of the building. Two Pokemon, Growlithe VS Bellsprout… Oh, what the heck I’m talking about?

Slim Thug fired a pillar of fire towards Demeter- but wait! The Bellsprout spins around with such spinning powers that it had actually repelled the Fire Spin! Also, her attack is increased!

Slim Thug then gave another Fire Spin, but Demeter had earlier launched an enormous Sludgebomb towards him. The fire spiral managed to trap him for some time (5% damage), but due to the burning of Sludgebomb (12% damage), and his weak fire energy, the grip was let go quite fast.

Then Slim Thug gave another Firespin. Big mistake! Demeter lashed out her vines, and grabbed Slim Thug before he can even breathe out fire! And so, Slim Thug crashed to the ground below… but fortunately, or unfortunately, she only fell on the third floor. However, she took in a massive amount of damage (12% damage). Other than low energy, hurt body, the effect of Sludgebomb was also taking its toll…

Status: VERY tired, hurt body but no broken part, face burned from Sludgebomb, on the third floor out of 15 floor

Way to go Demeter! Also, shouldn't my attack be '+4', to bad an extra Swordsdance only boosted my Sludgebomb from 10% damage to 12% damage. I thought it would be more.

Demeter go down to the third floor (one action) and fire another two Slugebombs at Slim Thug. Deflect Fire as usual

While Bellsprout comes down, it will probably be somewhat stunned by the impact. Take this chance by leaping on its back use Three Overheats.

Actually, when someone makes a command like mine, it is usually out of a last resort and would instead use up the last of its energy to do a ton of damage. See, I like to go down fighting.

Also, an attack like sludge bomb, which in the games does what, 60-80 damage or something? so it would probably be ten in the case of a critical hit, maybe 12ish, but without even super effective damage it does 28%???? Please explain. I do not mean to be a nag, i am merely curious. ^^
