Lets go for Lorefel my male Gastly and Wizard my female Slowpoke that you gave me for Christmas. Mwahaha! Before I post attacks, are there any banned moves? So many matches have them, I just want to check so I can plan ahead.

Wizard, show Andrew what you're made of. Start off with a Safeguard to defend yourself, then aim for Staryu with a Thunder Wave, and finish by hitting Abra with an Ice Beam.

Subs: If Staryu gets a Safeguard up, aim the Thunder Wave at Abra.

Lorefel, leave Abra reeling with your Confuse Ray, then lob a Shadow Ball at it. Finish with a Thunder Bolt on Staryu.

Subs: If either of your foes look like their going to use Safeguard Snatch it away.

Abra, Substitute quickly! Then, I want you to use Psychic to levitate Slowpoke into the Shadow Ball from it's team-mate. Then, use Psychic again to shove it into the way so it'll take the thunderbolt instead of Staryu.

round one
The massive, all-too-familiar, stadium atop the Bouncy Castle is the setting for this match against Super Moderator Andrew, and not-so-super Moderator RaZoR LeAf. Andrew, having already choiced his two pokémon, an abra and a staryu, appropriately named Ozbra and -star respectively, blindly before even finding a challenger, gasps as the menacing strategist RaZoR LeAf steps up, ready for battle. The cunning villain of Chris 2.0's literary piece steps forward, calling out his two – a gastly named Lorefel, and a slowpoke named Wizard.

The attacks have been submitted, and both sets of pokémon enter battle mode. Ozbra and Ozstar immediately concentrate their energy into two seperate entities; two tiny dolls, one cat-like, one star-shaped, pop into existence atop the Bouncy Castle (15% – Ozbra; 15% – Ozstar; 15% – Abra.Clone; 15% – Star.Clone). Lorefel tries valliently to lull his psychic adversary into a dull confusion; however, as luck would have it, you cannot weaken a mind that does not exist. The gastly sighs in disbelief as his teammate, Wizard, sheilds herself in a silver veil. Second attempts begin as Lorefel conjures up an orb of stale, dead energy. He releases it into the air, wobbly and unmotivated, towards Ozbra, who merely sits there with his eyes closed. The abra takes hold of the slowpoke merely with his thoughts, and carries the water pokémon directly in front of the dark gassous ball. Wizard is pelted by her ally's attack, the death ball exploding on contact (10% – Wizard). The pink hippo would squeel in pain had she've felt the attack; due to her slow nature, it'll take her a bit. Meanwhile, Ozstar tries dearly just to memorize the technique his opponent used.

The final attacks set in stone, all four pokémon ready themselves (including Wizard, despite still being held by Ozbra's psychic grasp). Lorefel attempts once more to destroy his opponents, sending a rippling collection of electricity through the air. Ozbra reacts accordingly, directing the pink hippo with his mind; however, his mental prowess soon falters as fatigue slips in. His mind aching, Ozbra cannot hold on much longer, and promptly allows Wizard to hit the ground. The electricity hits the staryu doll as targeted (10% – Star.Clone). Ozstar, unfazed by the bolt of lightning, quickly shoots of his newly-learnt spell. The ball of darkness and death sails through the air in a wobbily fashion before it slams into the bigger ball of darkness and death (10% – Lorefel). Finally, no longer bound by Ozbra's mental prison, Wizard is free to send a cackling wave of electricity to her opponent. However, it is to no avail that she tries to paralyze the muscles of a doll whom has none. Rather annoyed, the slowpoke immediately conjures a beam of concentrated ice, to which she shoots it directly towards the abra... or at least, what she presumes is an abra. The doll is struck cold, several shards of ice freezing it to the castle's ground (7% – Abra.Clone).

Wizard winces in pain as she suddenly feels a jolt of pain throughout her body; otherwise, the four pokémon are okay. One of the two clones is frozen to the floor and the other is a bit charred.

Staryu, hit the Gastly with another of your Home Grown Shadow Balls. Then, strike Slowpoke with a Thunderbolt and finish off by using Psychic (Beam form) on Gastly.

Abra, I'd like you to use Taunt on Gastly then Safeguard and finish off by using Shockwave on Slowpoke.

Ok Gastly. If you can't see Abra, I don't know how he expects to taunt you. Use Psychic to redirect the Shadow ball into hitting the clone of Abra. That should be enough to destroy it. Now why do you Taunt Abra, so he can't use Safeguard, and finish off with a nice long wet Lick over Abra's face.

Slowpoke, start off with Psychic to crush Staryu's Substitute. then use Bide to absorb both those electric attacks and send it all right back at Staryu.

round one
Without even a second to type up an interlude, all four pokémon waste not any time and immediately start the second round. Ozbra, going out of his demure shell, tries hauntingly to taunt the foe Lorefel. "Yo' mama," jokes, sticking his tongue out, sacrificing a live goat, etc. But for some reason, the gastly's not falling for it. Ozbra then mentally slaps himself in the forehead, remembering that when his substitute is on the field, no one pays attention to him. Ozstar conjures some stale energy, sweating a bit more than usual when performing a technique, and fires the wobbly ball of death straight for the ghost pokémon. As Lorefel watches the dark orb come towards him, he immediately closes his eyes and concentrates on the will-less being that is the shadow ball. It takes a bit of time to do (because Lorefel is not a psychic, and ghost attacks are hard to control anyway), but he manages to slow the ball down to a halt before completely changing its course to the small abra-shaped doll on the ground. The dark ball slams into Abra.Clone (8% – Abra.Clone), promptly destroying it. Meanwhile, Wizard had managed to destroy the other doll as well using only her mental powers (5% – Star.Clone). With both members of Team Andrew exposed, the real fighting can begin.

Ozbra tries to conjure up a psychic barrier to aid him, but when he gazes in the direction of his foe, he sees the gastly staring at him with his tongue stuck out. Shaking his fist violently, the abra forgets all about the spell and hovers over to his foe whilst trying to bat him with his fists. Unfortunately, when you're angry, common sense takes the back seat. Ozbra's violent hands merely fly through the ghost's body, doing nothing at all (except humoring Lorefel). Ozstar, meanwhile, conjures up some electric energy within his star-physique. The electrical energy is then shot towards Wizard, who merely sits there patiently with an eerie white glow about. Wizard takes the attack in full (10% – Wizard), without so much as a grimace.

As Ozbra continues to... not hit his enemy, the gastly continues to cackle as he drags his ghastly tongue along the psychic's face (8% – Ozbra). Most uncool, I imagine Ozbra would be saying if he could talk; getting to first base with a ghost... a boy ghost... was no laughing matter. However, Lorefel continued to laugh like a maniacle deviant... much like the man behind him, Razor. Calming down, Ozbra retreats to his side of the castle to cool off, and perhaps switch targets with Ozstar. They both comply, and Ozstar immediateyl shoots down the ghost pokémon with a solidified beam of mental energy (10% – Lorefel). Ozbra, meanwhile, sends a clicking sphere of electricity over to the stapled slowpoke, whom just takes the other hit with ease (8% – Wizard). Wizard then opens her eyes and the white aura surrounding her fades away whilst simultaneously creating a large orb in front of the pokémon. Wizard glares at the staryu before shooting it with a high-powered conjurence of electrical superpower (18% – Ozstar).

Okay Gastly, Teleport behind Staryu and latch on with a Giga Drain. Then blast it with a Thunder.

Slowpoke, keep Abra busy with a Blizzard+Thunder Wave Combo (Thunder Wave hidden within a freezing blizzard), and how about a Future Sight, with poor Ozbra as the recipient?

Ok Staryu, teleport away from Gastly's teleport attack and use Psychic in Beam form to blast him and finish off by teleporting away from that Thunder attack.

Abra, I want you to Teleport away from the bizarre blizzard/thunderwave combo (That's really not a cool combo) and use two Psychic Beam attacks on Gastly.

round three
The booming chorus of L'arc-en-Ciel is the background as the four pokémon embrace a third set of attacks. Lorefel attempts to teleport from where he hovers... but unfortunately, he cannot seem to grasp the attack whatsoever. Puzzled, he merely lofts over towards the staryu. Before he can latch on with his fangs, Ozstar immediately uses the attack that failed Lorefel. Meanwhile, Wizard conjures two spells of different energies: a thunder wave wrapped by a chilling blizzard. The cold winds are thrown towards Ozbra, but he merely disappears with the same anticipation as his ally, Ozstar. Both pokémon reappear safely, a few meters back.

Ozbra then retalliates, conjuring up a repetitive beam of mental energy; the two beams are shot one right after the other, causing a great deal of damage to the gastly, Lorefel (10% + 10% – Lorefel). Ozstar, meanwhile, does the same, however only shooting one mental beam, causing more damage to the poison-type ghost (10% – Lorefel).

Lorefel, very hurt and very annoyed, charges some highly damaging electric energy within himself as he lets it explode towards Ozbra; the tiny abra smirks once again, teleporting safely away from the damaging attack. Bouncy Castle suffers another hit for Team Oz. Wizard, however, is merely escaping from the present, viewing a future in which a heavy beam of psychotic energy beams from an undisclosed location, surging through the unsuspecting Ozbra. She returns to the present, satisfied.

A few moments pass, and the Future Sight finally makes it's appearance; it beams down a heavy psychic energy, just as Wizard foresaw, ripping through Ozbra's body (7% – Ozbra).

Can I lol that Abra is tired from using Teleport. I got so angry in Red (the original!) when I was trying to catch that damn Abra! It kept teleporting!

Shockwave that Slowpoke, then, use a Shadow Ball on Gastly and finish off by using Shockwave again on Slowpoke.

Staryu, use your Shadow Ball on Gastly, then Thunderbolt Slowpoke and finish off with using Psychic in Beam form on Gastly.

Gastly, phase through the bouncy castle, so you're behind it. Now we know Shockwave always hits it's opponents, so think about Staryu, and send two of the electrical attacks at it.

Subs: If you can't phase through the castle, then float up and over so you're behind

Slowpoke, Disable Abra's Shockwave, then throw yourself at Abra with Double Edge (use the bounciness castle to help propel yourself (bounciness isn't a word? What kind of spell checker are you)). Then use Psychic to dunk Abra into the moat.

round four
The fouth round begins; Lorefel, sensing danger, immediately phases through the rubber walls of the Bouncy Castle. No one's ever been inside the castle that Andrew built, so it's pretty difficult to describe. I'll try my best however to – hey, a penny! As Ozbra attempts to conjure some more static energy through his body, he suddenly feels a chillfully chillful chill run down his spine, only disappearing shortly after. He returns to his attack, but realizes that he had been blocked. Somewhere, some time, a slowpoke is grinning devilishly. Ozstar then shoots off a wild shadow ball in hopes to slam through the castle and cause harm to the gastly; unfortunately, the staryu failed to note that Bouncy Castle is indestructible, and thus a large ghostly explosion resulted as the ball hit the wall.

Meanwhile, towards the other side of the castle, Lorefel ponders how he plans on attacking his foe with electricity... with a large, rubber barrier in his way. As commanded, he thinks about the enemy Ozstar and hurls a collection of electricity every which way. However, no amount of thoughts can allow a tiny jolt of electricity to plow through the aforementioned indestructible wall. Perhaps if he had some sort of unstoppable force? On the outside, Ozstar turns its sights to the slowpoke whilst hurling a well-conjured collection of electricity through the air. The slowpoke is hit with the shocking bolt (10% – Wizard). She'd wince in pain if she had felt it immediately. Ozbra, meanwhile, attempts to locate the ghastly gastly, however when said ghastly gastly cannot be located, he simply relaxes. However, this gives Wizard enough time to strike. As she suddenly feels the electric sensation, she pushes against the rubbery walls of Bouncy Castle as it shoots her forward like a sling shot. The slowpoke, with an unusual sense of speed, immediately barrels into the relaxing abra, causing them both to hit the ground unexpectedly (10% – Ozbra; 3% – Wizard).

Ozstar decides not to attack Lorefel again, knowing that any attack would fail. Meanwhile, Ozbra attempts once more to hit his foe with a shocking sense of electricity, but stops short when he realizes again that the attack had been forgotten. The psychic cat is then lifted into the air and thrown into the cold moat below (5% – Ozbra). Like any cat, Ozbra hates the water, and darts out as quickly as possible.

Also I so contest the ghost phase thing. I once had a gengar do the same thing and it totally just used Rest and nothing could get inside, apart from a ghost. round four
The pink slowpoke attempts to attract Ozbra, but he quickly counteracts by blinding her with a bright flashly light. As Wizard attempts to retain her vision, Ozbra wonders how he was possibly supposed to fall in love with her. Meanwhile, in an effort to avoid being a cheap bastard, the silky gastly emerges from his hiding spot inside the Bouncy Castle, meeting the eyes of the three pokémon battling with him; as he does so, he hurls a ghastly ball of death towards the abra. Ozbra remains sterne, however, as a golden aura engulfs him. The ball of death flings into Ozbra (10% – Ozbra); he winces in pain, but remains firm as he sends the attack directly back at Lorefel easily (15% – Lorefel). The staryu then, well, I was gonna say "closes his eyes," but Ozstar is neither a "he" nor one to have eyes. Anyway, the staryu creates an identical clone using his health as a focus (15% – Ozstar; 15% – Star.Clone).

Lorefel, annoyed and hurt, charges up his final attack; the thunderous energy ripples through his body as he sends it towards the staryu clone. It immediately breaks apart as the electricity hits it (15% – Star.Clone). Trying to regain her vision, Wizard blindly shoots off two ice beams; one of them shoots off, slamming into the rubbery castle whilst the other manages to hit the staryu (5% – Ozstar). Reeling back, Ozstar retalliates by shooting off two well-prepared shadow balls at the ghost pokémon. The gas ball accepts the two balls of death painfully (10% + 10% – Lorefel), whilst also receiving a third attack from Ozbra, a mental attack in beam form (5% DC – Lorefel).

the results
Wizard's safeguard veil finally fades away as round five closes. Wizard's vision has been regained, albeit a little too late for her tastes.

DC stands for damage caps – it's 40%.

The fifth round begins swiftly; Ozbra, the abra, shoots off a cackling wave of electricity which engulfs the gastly. His body becomes stricken with paralysis, but he only has to perform one action this round. Meanwhile, Wizard leaps into the water as fast as she can, despite her slow speed, and swims as deep as she can. Lorefel takes note and readies his final attack. As he attempts to discharge, his body locks up, disallowing him to pull off that final maneuver. Lorefel sighs, being beamed by a steady stream of mental energy from Ozstar's location (10% – Lorefel). The ghost pokémon immediately hits the ground, defeated.

Ozstar retreats to the moat where he refreshes himself; however, Wizard immediately strikes back at the water creature with a double psychic attack! Ozstar's mind is corrupted with Wizard's mental stress, causing a good deal of damage (8% + 8% – Ozstar). Finally, Ozbra, a little weary of jumping into the water, pushes those painful memories aside as his right fist cackles with more thunderous energy. The psychic pokémon immediately leaps into the water; however, as his lightning-enhanced fist hits the water, the electric current flows throughout the moat, harming everyone for light damage (3% – Ozbra; 5% – Ozstar; 5% – Wizard).

Lorefel has been felled first, and the remaining three are now "relaxing" in the cool waters.
