Default Forgiven Memory - It Starts; LSUs Welcome (Possible Maturity Later)

    Forgiven Memory

Ten elements, two worlds. Fire, Ice, Wind, Thunder, Wood, Water, Soul, Light, Earth, and Metal were the elements which stood, providing a divine law of the land in which the lives of people and spirits were based off of. The worlds were Earth and the Divine Realm. Since time had began, these elements had ran wild, beasts often running across the countryside, without anybody to tame them. This remained until a young priestess, a woman known to her region as Chinatsu, was called upon by the gods and responsibility thrust upon her. Wise and pious, she learned the secrets hidden behind these elements, and somehow managed to master them.

However, this peace lasted only a few years. Civil war broke out in the country, the origin of this war being a vampiric man who only called himself 'Myotismon.' He convinced many into believing his virtues considered the sins, which he promised those who followed him eternal life and power. Seeing the dangers of this, Chinatsu and a simple shinobi named Katsuro, together sought out Myotismon, and an ultimate battle was waged. Even though victorious, the heroes perished. However, before their death, the spirits of the elements appeared before them. Taking their favored elements, the two inscribed their names upon their choice, and then their souls faded into the blanket of time.

Most of the elements mourned over the death of the heroes of the world. However, the proud element of Light decided to create three spirits powerful over the others. These spirits became known as Seraphimon, Orphanimon, and Cherubimon. Seeing inferiority in the spirits, they goaded them into the Divine Realm and separated the two worlds, the legends of the priestess, ninja, and of the spirits forgotten.

In panic, the elements divided into two and razed the border in order to find an escape. Saddened by their failed attempts, they waited patiently. And then the technological age came on Earth, and they were mysteriously reunited. However, at the same time, an angelic child known as Lucemon was born. Of an evil mind, being the reincarnate of Myotismon, he captured half of the elements as his own, and seeing how Light wasn't in his grasp, created the element of Darkness from the shadows. He then created the crests, the essence of his elements, and sent them to random children on Earth. Seeing this, the trinity of justice did the same, and wondered if this was another attempt at war.

These crests all represented a trait inside the children's hearts. They were Courage and Cowardice of Fire, Friendship and Loneliness of Ice, Love and Lust of Wind, Knowledge and Ignorance of Thunder, Reliability and Betrayal of Water, Sincerity and Vanity of Forest, Hope and Sin of Soul, Light, Darkness, Kindness and Cruelty of Earth, and finally Miracles and Fate of Metal. While the fact of eleven elements remained, the twenty crests remained balanced, causing no worries to neutral Digimon.

Modern Tokyo is calm and peaceful during the city's Spring Break for schools. Nothing seems to go wrong, and there's a month to be free of worries. From wherever or if you're just home, you feel boredom and decide to head online for awhile. Part of you feels a pull in your heart, but the other part of you seems to ignore this warning, and you check your Inbox for e-mails. Aside from whatever spam and whatnot, you find only one interesting message from an anonymous address. Confused, you look into it and read. There's a simple message with a Yes or No link; it reads 'Time is running out. Make your move. Will you decide the fate of the world?' Reluctantly, you click the option of Yes, and light or shadow plunges from the computer towards you, seemingly dragging you. Unable to think, you pass out.

Awakening, you feel an awkward sense of being different. You look upon the group you're among, and yourself, and notice you all have two things in common, a small device and a creature claiming to be a Digimon, or Digital Monster. Despite any complaints, you realize what you are together for, like it or not. After gathering together, your group sets off into this Digital World in the crusade to decide the fate of the world. Whatever happened to the reincarnates of Chinatsu and Katsuro, and what sets them apart from the others? Are they perhaps different from the others in some way? What would happen to the world without them? Only the threads of time will show...

    Alright. Here's some basic information.

~D-Serenity - The D-Serenity is this RPG's version of the Digivice. Resembling the digivices used in Digimon Frontier, the D-Tector/D-Scanner. It can reveal the data of Digimon, and detect the prescence of other D-Serenities. Rumors are also held that these devices have pros and cons, depending on the side of the Chosen Child. Functions also as a D-Terminal, in which this time, it stores the crest rather than a DigiEgg.

    Personality:
Attacks: (2-3 for Rookie/Champion; Up to four for Ultimate/Mega)
Element: (two are allowed to a Mega digimon; at least one must be your crest)

    Mine is as follows.

    Name: Laura Deirdre (pronounced Dare-dra)
    Age: 16
    Gender: Female
Appearance: Standing at a close to average height of 5'4, Laura's facial physique consists of deep forest green eyes with a feline hint to it, and her hair is thick, shoulder-length, and deep dark brown in color. Her skin is relatively pale, and her figure is pretty well-formed, almost naturally athletic for a swimmer.
Laura, given that it is Spring Break, is without a required sailor school uniform, and normally dresses in dark colors and somewhat loose clothing to shadow her form. This normally consists of a black and red System of a Down shirt (as shown), and slightly darker than normal jeans that taper off of her black high-top tennis shoes. Jewelry wise, she wears silver earrings bearing the traditional triangular Celtic knot, and a necklace bearing an Amy Brown faery with a sapphire orb at the faery's stomach.
In the Digital World, her clothing is altered to where she is much so in a rave club or somewhere similar. Her shirt is replaced with a black kimono-like top that comes down to about mid-thigh on her, with blue ends on each sleeve and obi. Her jeans are replaced with black capri pants with dark blue straps attached, and her tennis shoes remain the same. However, her jewelry has been replaced. Her celtic-themed earrings have been replaced with small silver hoops, and rather than a faery, her necklace bears an oriental dragon with ruby eyes, grasping a small diamond. In her hair is also a ribbon of the same color as her obi, used to tie her hair back.
Personality: Laura is rather free-spirited and kind-hearted, which unfortunately has led to her social issues as well as some of her now introverted, depressive nature. All she longs for is to be accepted for being her rather than hiding behind some model image, and in modern teen culture, it is hard for her. When she forms a form of friendship, her loyalty and commitment is unconditional and loving.
    Alliance: Dark
    Crest/Element: Loneliness/Ice
D-Serenity: Dark grey with blue rims, with buttons a much lighter, almost silver, grey. The Crest of Loneliness, a crystal resembling that of Suicune's surrounded by two circles, is on the back with the same color as the rims.
    Digimon: Snowmon (Kori)
History: Laura, as some have guessed, is American by birth. Her parents oddly found each other being from opposite ends of the country, thus political issues had always been intact in her family. Her mother had constantly had affairs, and from an early age, Laura assumed that it wasn't right. But whenever she saw, she was threatened with beatings. Not able to handle this pressure, she at a mere five years old told her father, and it resulted in divorce, and she landed in the custody of her mother.
Her mother soon remarried, and she immediately continued this time with neglect for her daughter's emotions. Laura became depressed because of this, and even counselors were scared to admit her mother was the cause. Two years of emotional, and at one point, sexual, abuse came to an end dramatically when she was seven, in which unable to be reunited with her "missing" father, she wound up in the custody of her favorite aunt. Not too long afterwards, the two moved to Tokyo, where they presently reside.
Laura grew under a mixed interest family, flourishing contently. She learned how to play the guitar, as well as some of the basics to crystal healing and herbs. At first, this interested her peers, yet as they grew older, trends became common while Laura kept true to herself. Attending a school with mixed Japanese and American pop cultures, she doesn't seem to necessarily fit in with either group. Even for making some of the higher marks among her peers, she is pushed even further down, usually out of jealousy or simply out of her natural sympathy for those who do poorly. Hurting her emotionally, she has taken the blame for even things she hasn't done, thinking of herself as "too self-centered" and such. However, she hopes that this spring, she can discover friendship and true, eternal love unlike what she has seen...
Relationships: None as of yet. However, she sympathizes for the one boy she finds handsome, Hatake Michael, and hopes to reach out to him more.
    Theme Songs:
Metallica - Nothing Else Matters (Lyrics)
System of a Down - ATWA (Lyrics)
    Staind - Right Here (Lyrics)
System of a Down - Lonely Day (Lyrics)
Other: The emotional reincarnate of the miko, Chinatsu. Ironically, she was born in the later part of the summer (early September), given that the name Chinatsu means "a thousand summers."

    Name: Snowmon
    Species: Young Dog
    Class: Vaccine
Appearance: Snowmon, quite basic, resembles a small American Eskimo Dog, with eyes that are a innocent grey color. Her somewhat glittery fur has dark blue stripes along her back.
Personality: She's really reserved and trusts Laura more than anybody else. As a quiet being, she seems confused when it comes to talking to people she doesn't trust. She'll help Laura in every way she can.
    Attacks:
Child's Play - She runs in circles a few times before a small spike of ice rises from the ground.
Koori Breath - She breaths a small amount of ice out of her mouth.
Emotional Uprising - She looks up to the sky and causes a small snowstorm to rain down.
    Level: Rookie
    Element: Ice

    Name: Freyamon
    Species: Winter Spirit
    Class: Vaccine
Appearance: She looks a lot like Kirara/Kilala on InuYasha(the beast form, of course), except her fur is a deep blue color and her fangs aren't as large. Her eyes are now a dark grey which seems to hide emotion easily, and where flames are normally at her paws, there are silver ribbons(none around the mouth).
Personality: Freyamon is really kind, and many consider her fierce because of her appearance. She is emotionally sensitive, and seems to feel a lot of angst.
    Attacks:
Frozen Ribbons - She extends her paw ribbons and slashes her opponent(s) with them.
The Spirit's True Nature - She breathes a beam of ice from her mouth.
Winter Gale - She develops a cold aura and rushes at her opponent swiftly.
    Level: Champion
    Element: Ice

    Name: Epiphanymon
    Species: Winter Guardian
    Class: Data
Appearance: Much like (Ko)Haku's beast form in Spirited Away(the wolf/dragon), except more feminine and a bit more furrier. Her mane is a deep blue and her eyes are a tealish color.
Personality: She is really strong-willed and wise, seemingly giving advice at times to anybody she would consider an 'ally'. Her emotions can run wild at times.
    Attacks:
Koori Orb - She forms a snowball between her forepaws and seemingly 'tosses' it into the air, then whacking it with her tail, which sends it flying at an opponent.
Epiphany Blaze - She fires a beam of ice at an opponent at a slightly swift pace.
Blue January - The temperature in her mouth freezes and she bites down on her opponent.
    Level: Ultimate
    Element: Ice

    Name: Nayrumon
    Species: Goddess
    Class: Vaccine
Appearance: In this form, Nayrumon is the very image of wisdom and beauty pulled and entwined together. Standing at 5'8" with a graceful, defined figure, Nayrumon has eyes as silver as the moon on a winter night, and her long, thick hair deep blue in color. Her skin is a wintery pale. Nayrumon is practically adorned in a dress similar to this(but rather blue with grey insides), and she carries a grey staff with the crest of Friendship and Loneliness on top.
Personality: Nayrumon is wise, loving, and giving. When she forms a commitment, she will stick to it until the very end. Her loyalty to Laura and her allies is unforgetable. Always one to give advice when necessary.
    Attacks:
Hikari no Yuki - Nayrumon becomes enveloped in an aura of blue light, and she fires a stream of snowflakes from her staff.
Angel's Kiss - Nayrumon lightly blows into the wind, chilling the general aura of an opponent, stunning them for a moment or so.
Song of Winter - Quietly chanting in an ancient tongue similar to Aramaic, a pentacle of light and spiritual energy forms before her. She takes this and with her staff slings it to the ground, a pool of ice forming on the ground. The ice will numb the sores of allies, but give frostbite to foes.
Final Flight to Heaven - Nayrumon glances to the skies, clasping her hands together in prayer. From the heavens above streams down three beams of light energy in red, blue and green which shocks the foes temporarily. They reascend to her staff, and with all power within her, Nayrumon fires a blast of ice in these colors from her staff. As her strongest attack, she is forced to dedigivolve following this.
    Level: Mega
    Element: Ice/Light

    ~*~Laura Deirdre - Lonely Soul of Winter~*~
Heaven may be running on empty yet the devil rides

A sigh randomly passed through my lips as I slightly shifted my position on the couch. My current depression was somehow making it hard to concentrate on the game I was playing on my Nintendo DS. Pokémon Emerald wasn't supposed to be difficult, was it? All of this Feebas hunting was starting to slowly seep under my skin. Even though I was alone, and I felt like screaming, I restrained myself. My aunt, the only person who seemed to care, was in America for a few days, helping out my grandfather possibly make a move to Japan, as well. Whatever his decision was, I wonder if he truly cared...then again, I wondered if anybody cared. Especially Hatake Michael.

I sighed yet again at the thought of this handsome boy...I felt sorry for his slowly falling grades. Perhaps he was going to the bottom, and so was I. Well, I haven't had that thought ever since my mother remarried and the abuse towards me began, so I pretty much dismissed the thought. I was now tired and frustrated with what was going on in my life. Groaning, I saved and turned off my game, sliding the handheld system into my pocket, and leaned my head back. Thoughts and memories flushed through me as I did this. It seemed like those and my emotions were all I had left, and they didn't even keep me company.

I was suddenly overcome by a force inside of me, begging to get online. Shaking my head lightly as a chill passed through me, I stood and slowly walked over to the stairs, walking up them steadily and stealthily. Somehow, stealth always showed when I was ascending or descending...as if I were a leopard on prowl through the trees. I made my way up to my bedroom and slowly opened the wooden door, slipping inside, turning on a small lamp as I did so. Even if it was daytime, light was somehow always good for me. And then I remembered the fortune I was told through palm reading weeks ago. I couldn't remember her exact words; only a bit about light, darkness, and my connection to both at the same time. True, I found it odd, but could we really question this mysterious woman who didn't even seem earthly?

I sat down on the chair in my room, slowly shifting myself into yet another comfortable position. I turned the computer on, and slowly watched its work. I got onto my section of the computer and pulled up our Internet provider...ah, the wonders of DSL. First thing was first; check for any new e-mail. My head lightly bobbling, I logged into the e-mail provider, and looked. No new messages from any contacts. They must hate me now, I thought.

I quietly pulled up the Inbox and cleared whatever spam and whatnot there was. However, before I could do this, one message caught my attention. It was an anonymous sender, as well as a message lacking subject. Curiosity overcoming me, I brought up the message and glanced over it. It was simple; a Yes or No link, and a message. It read "Time is running out. Make your move. Will you decide the fate of the world?"

I, with slight wonder, tried to think if this was an invite to some BS MMORPG. However, my hand slowly dragged the mouse to the option of Yes. I was astonished by my actions, and pulled back, anxious of what was going to happen now. The screen slowly started flickering on and off, and in order to check if this was something wrong, I lightly tapped the screen, or so I thought. It turned out to be that my hand was dragged "inside" the computer, yet it felt like a void, a black hole. I was being dragged into this void, and I couldn't pull back. Eventually my body was consumed by a white, softly illuminating light, my body wrapped around with a blue pressure of some sort. I tried to push out, yet couldn't move. A cold sweat trickled down my body, as I tried to push out of this coil. I was now for the second time in my life terrified. An odd symbol resembling a crystal and two circles flashed before my eyes, and that was the last I saw before my eyes shut, my consciousness lost.

    ~*~*~*~
    *~*~*~

I could've sworn I felt a mild air surrounding me, soft grass below my back. I groaned and shifted onto my side as I regained a sense of where I was. I didn't understand how I was suddenly outside, after being consumed by my computer. Perhaps this was a cyberspace-produced illusion? I relocated my glasses and opened my eyes quietly, a wet feeling meeting my cheek. Did somebody or someone perhaps, lick me? A tongue suddenly stroked the cheek again, and I looked at the white body of fur in front of me. I was being licked by an American Eskimo Dog, it seemed. Except this one bore markings of dark blue on her back, her coat shimmering in the sunlight, and her eyes were a beautiful grey color.

"Oh, Laura. You're awake." The canine spoke in a soft, feminine voice, a smile crossing her face. My eyes slightly widened, and now I felt that I was definitely far from home, perhaps not even on my world anymore. She noticed this, and again nuzzled my cheek with her face. "There's no need to panic. I'm with you now." I nodded slowly and sat up. My clothes didn't even feel the same anymore, and my hair was tied back with perhaps a ribbon. I looked down, shocked by what I saw. I was now adorned in a black satin kimono with blue ends and obi, and my jeans were replaced by what seemed like bondage pants: black khaki-like capris with blue straps attached.

"Where am I, and what are you?" I asked, still rather puzzled. She nodded in understanding and spoke some more.

"Laura, you're in the Digital World now. I'm an inhabiting creature, a Digimon - short for Digital Monster. I'm Snowmon." I immediately assumed this world was somehow connected to ours by the Internet. Maybe this was an undiscovered, uninhabited dimmension aside from these beasts. I glanced down, then back at Snowmon, reaching out to pet her. She playfully rolled onto her back, and I rubbed her belly, smiling weakly. Perhaps being a human in this new world wasn't so bad, afterall.

"Well, first of all, Snowmon, mind if I call you Kori?" My free hand slowly traveled backwards, and clutched onto a device which felt much like a cell phone. I dragged in forward and held it, glancing down with amazement. "And what is this thing?"

"That, Laura, is your D-Serenity." The newly-dubbed Kori spoke, her tail lightly wagging. "You'll learn it's purpose later. But for now, we got to meet up with other Chosen Children." She motioned forward with her head and I nodded, standing up. We walked together, yet I was following her since clearly she knew the way. I was still puzzled by this device. It was dark grey in color, its buttons a lighter grey, with a grip the color blue. I carefully turned it over and in the same color as the grip, was the symbol I saw earlier. My eyes widened, so to relieve myself from this shock, I slid the device into my new pocket. We continued to walk forward, and I slowly thought to myself how I really did not feel like being around people much anymore. I looked at the ground until Kori and I stopped, and I glanced upward again, looking at these new faces.

"Hello," I spoke quietly, my anxiousness somewhat visible. "I'm Laura...Deirdre."

    ...I'm not dead yet!

Default Re: Forgiven Memory - It Starts; LSUs Welcome

    Name: Johann Rosmund
    Age: 17
    Gender: Male
Appearance: Johann could almost be described as beautiful and surreal. His smooth hair, which reaches down the center of his back and is white with a blue tint, is tied into a neat ponytail with a few bangs at the front. His face beautiful and flawless but his eyes, which are a pale violet, seem to hold and eerie glow which cause people to shy away from him. He has a thin, yet well built figure. His skin is slightly pale and flawless.

When it comes to clothing, you can tell Johann’s very well off. He wears a white undershirt and a black overcoat ,which reaches down to his knees, with bright blue trim and a high colar. His pants are also black (or a very dark purple) and he wears a pair of white cotton gloves and sleek black shoes.
Personality: Polite, Noble, soft spoken and constantly in thought, definitely not someone you expect to wield the crest of Sin. But then you hear his ideals. He has a large desire for answers and will do almost anything to attain them. He questions things most people wouldn’t think of, such as what is sin? What is good and what is evil? And how is it determined that an action is either good or evil? He refuses to follow these rules without a good reason. While he sees no harm in what he’s doing, most people would consider him evil and blaspheomous.
    Alliance: Dark
D-Serenity: Black with white rims. The crest of sin, an inverted cross, is a bright blue.
    Crest/Element: Sin/Soul
    Digimon: Genemon
History: Johann was born into a German, religious catholic family. In fact, his older brother was studying to become a priest, so he learned a great deal about the catholic faith. However, around the age of fifteen, Johann began questioning the catholic faith, more importantly, the meaning of sin.

What is a sin? What makes an action a sin and why are sins considered evil. This lead him to questioning what is good and what is evil. What determines whether and action is good or evil? It was these nd other questions that caused him to doubt the catholic faith. After failing to find the answers in religion, he turned his back on it, believing it only imposed restrictions, not answers.

And so he devoted himself to finding the truths about good and evil, about sin. During this, he chose not to consider any action good, or evil, until he found out what really defined them as good or evil. Because of this, numourous people in his home town began to worry about him and even some devote catholics began thinking he was in league with the devil. But Johann himself believed that what he was doing couldn’t possibly be evil.
    Relationships: open
    Theme Songs:
Rod B - Clubbed to Death
One Wigned Angel – Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children

Personality: While many assume ‘he’ doesn’t have a personality, mainly because ‘he’ doesn’t talk, ‘he’ in fact communicates to Johann via telepathy. ‘He’ didn’t seem to have any emotion, but is willing to aid ‘his’ master in his research and defend ‘his’ master’s studies.

-Calming Aura: The aura surrounding Genemon spreds out to the entire area, causing anyone within it to become drowsy and even lull them to sleep.

It has a pale blue, metalic ring overing over its body. It’s eyes glow violet and all its skin that’s exposed is pitch black.
Personality: While ferocious in battle, Gospemon is a lot more patient then its previous form and prefers to wait for an enemy rather and search for it. He’d rather protect his master and search out for his enemies.

Like his previous forms, Revalamon’s armour is covered with bright blue, glowing patterns and his eyes, which can be seen through his helmet, are a glowing violet. He also weilds two massive swords, made from a pale blue metal.
Personality: Most would see Revalamon as a monster, born only to destroy. Revalamon exists only to fight and protect his master, and destroy those who get in his way. Despite the fury he shows when in battle, Revalamon does have a great deal of intelligence, which is known, only by a certain few.

-Wrath of Luna: Revalamon charges up white energy in his palms before firing them into the air. A blast of white energy then hails from the sky onto the enemy. Best used on a full moon.
-Sin Crucifix: Fours blue flames surround Revalamon. Flames then appear, connecting them with him in the middle. A crucifix of white fire appears above him and rains blasts of energy around him.
-Apocolypse Forecoming: All of Revalamon’s body which isn’t covered in armour glow a blinding white. He is then consumed in a ball of light, which expands, consuming everyting in a large area. This attack is so powerful, Revalamon is forced to change back to Genemon.

    Johann Rosmund
    ------------------------------------
The pale bluenette's hands were a blur over the keyboard, the only thign lighting his dark room was the screen of his computer. He had gone over the net numerous times to try and find something to aid his research, his room filled with notes scattred and stacked everywhere.

He had come across nothing so far, but he was always checking for updates. This had probably been the thirtieth time this month he'd searched the internet. His goal for finding the true definitions of good and evil, the true meaning of sin, had turned almost into an obsession.

He checked his messages incase someone had sent him any information. This wasn't very likely, since he really had no friends, but it didn't hurt to try.

But there was a message this time, one single message. With interest, Johann opened it.

"Time is running out. Make your move. Will you decide the fate of the world?"

Johann's eyebrows furrowed in confusion. What was the meaning of this? He almost didn't notice his hand sliding over and clicking on the yes option. By the time he noticed, it was too late.

At first, nothing happened. Johann figured it might have been a prank or something, but then the screen started to flicker. He felt a powerful force on him, as if something was pushing him towards the screen. His vision was ingulfed in white as the force now seemed to be coiling around him, squeezing him, crushing him. Johann tried to breath, but the air wouldn't enter his lungs. His vision began to flash a pale blue and suddenly a red symbol appeared before his eyes, an inverted cross.

    Then, everything went white.

Johann fell to his knees, gasping fo air. He didn't sem to notice at first that he was no longer in his room. As he climbed to his feet, he noticed where he was and looked around. It looked as if he was in an ancient temple. The room was dark and the walls were hard and damp. It seemed completely bare except for a passageway in front of him. With his mind still trying to figure out what had happened, he began walking down the long hall.

After what seemed like an eternity, he found himself in the a large chamber. It was illuminated by a white glowing orb high above him. In the centre of the room was a stone pedestal. As he appraoched it, he noticed a strange black and white device.

    what is this?

His right hand reached out for the device, but as soon as he touched it, the light of the orb above him intensified. He shielded his eyes as a strange shape emerged from it. As the light dimmed, Johann could see that it had no main body, but was rather made up of smaller bodies, in the shape of a cross. It's five, eye-like orbs fell on him. Suddenly, a calm voice rang in his mind.

"I have been waiting for you. I am Genemon."
I'm in your dimensions, screwing with your reality!

*shifts eyes then slightly bumps the topic up*

Name: Mizuki Kohaku (last name first; also called "Haku-kun" for short)
    Age: 13
    Gender: Male
Appearance: Kohaku is a fairly cute boy for his age. Standing at nearly five feet in height, he has a standard Japanese appearance: brown eyes, black hair, Oriental skin. He seems slightly thin in build, but in the sense that he is healthy rather than anorexic of any sort.
Kohaku also dresses fairly for his age when outside of school. Usually consisting of a blue or green polo shirt from American companies like American Eagle, well-fitting jeans, and Converse high-tops, he seems to dress like all of the trendy children in American popular culture. But he doesn't see this as a way to get attention so much as feel comfortable.
In the Digital World, however, Kohaku doesn't seem to dress with such innocence. His attire now consists of an orange polo shirt over a blue and white striped sweater, manufactured holey jeans, and a more skating type of shoe, black and red Osiris. He feels slightly uncomfortable with this, yet learns to tolerate it over time.
Personality: Haku-kun, as he's called by some of the girls, is a fairly enjoyable person. While to some he may be "nerdy" for how he tries his hardest in school, he is actually fairly popular among his peers. Innocent to most teenage knowledge, he finds it easiest to not be involved in affairs outside of his schoolwork and friendships, and considers some things not necessary to know about until he's old enough. Wise and mature, Kohaku seems to be the type of child that younger students would idolize.
    Alliance: Light
D-Serenity: Sea green base with an ocean blue grip and pure white buttons. The Crest of Light, the star flower, is engraved on the back in a light pink color.
    Crest/Element: Light
    Digimon: Labramon
History: Odd enough, Kohaku has seemed to have lead an average life. Two parents, and a younger sister, Sako. However, his father was an alcoholic, and his mother was an infamous drug dealer in underground Tokyo. His father eventually died of alcohol poisoning, which lightly ignited a fire inside his mother which eventually led her to going "over the edge," becoming abusive to him and Sako. With help from school counselors, his mother was arrested, and the custody of him and Sako was turned over to his grandparents. Under them, he did fairly well in school, usually making some of the higher marks, earning a lot of respect amongst his peers, also from younger students such as his sister's classmates. He is a generally likable person, and for his age, seems an odd choice for the Crest of Light on the religious aspect for his tendency to look at things logically and intuitively.
    Relationships: None as of yet.
    Theme Songs:
L'Arc~en~Ciel - READY STEADY GO (Lyrics)
    Other: n/a

    Name: Labramon
    Type: Animal
    Class: Vaccine
    Appearance: Here.
Personality: Labramon is a kind-hearted soul with her heart and mind open to the world. Always willing to try new things, she seems a tad bit less playful than the average puppy, but has only a mildly childish spirit about her. She has no concern about her appearance unless she gets involved in filth, so she is pretty tolerant of dirty things.
    Attacks:
Retrieving Call - Barks loudly, which sends vibrations across the battlegrounds. Can either gently stun, or temporarily deafen the foes.
Cure Liquor - Lightly pants enough saliva to heal a wound or ailment such as poisoning.
    Level: Rookie
    Element: Light

    Name: Shiisamon
    Type: Animal
    Class: Vaccine
    Appearance: Here.
Personality: In this form, Shiisamon is still a kind-hearted, tolerant soul. However, she is more serious than playful, and she seems only slightly concerned with her beautiful, majestic appearance.
    Attacks:
Tiidaiya - Sends arrows of light energy flying at the foes.
Sekkantou - One of Shiisamon's forepaws glow with a light energy as she leaps into the air and "punches" a foe.
    Level: Champion
    Element: Light

    Name: Celestiamon
    Type: Furry
    Class: Vaccine
Appearance: In this form, Celestiamon is an anthromorphic figure, practically considered what her type is, a "furry." Standing at 5'6", she has gorgeous features much like that of a Pekingese, her fur soft and almost downy, and especially dark around her facial features, not really bringing out the darkness of her eyes. However, upon her back are wings of an angel, and she is adorned in mainly a cherry blossom pink QiPao(Chinese dress) with light blue tight-like pants underneath.
Personality: A completely serious version of Shiisamon. Nothing more, nothing less. Celestiamon also seems to be like a goddess in appearance, being almost the judge of what is good and what is evil, which makes others wonder what would become of her final stage.
    Attacks:
Day's Beginning - Using energy from the sun, Celestiamon fires a beam of light towards one foe, blinding them. Works especially well at sunrise, and weakest at sunset.
Angel of China - Celestiamon extends her wings for a moment as they glow, sending angelic energy downward towards her allies, slightly healing any wounds.
Holy Virtue - Gathering energy from the attacks of allies, this is her version of Angewomon's Celestial Arrow which creates a Chinese sword bearing any elements entered into it.
    Level: Ultimate
    Element: Light

    Name: Anubismon
    Type: God Man
    Class: Vaccine
    Appearance: Here.
Personality: Anubismon, named after the Egyptian God of Death, seems to be like an angel guarding over good souls of the Digital World, much as Nayrumon guards over neutral spirits in this crusade. At this stage, she seems to decide truly what actions are good, what evil is, and whatnot. However, this divine right is denied to her and Kohaku by the holy trinity of the Digital World.
    Attacks:
Amemit - Anubismon opens a portal into which the heart, or spirit, of the opponent or opponent's partner is weighed. If proven to be light, they avoid condemnment. If heavy, the illusion is eaten by a demon, and damage is inflicted onto the foe.
Pyramid Power - Anubismon creates a block of light energy which comes flying down onto a foe.
Condemnment - Anubismon lightly bites and slashes her foes.
Redemption - If the opponent was of a light or neutral soul and was damaged, Anubismon will extend her wings, causing light energy to be formed and heal them and any wounded ally. Being so powerful for healing, she is forced to dedigivolve following this technique.
    Level: Mega
    Element: Light/Soul

    -^-Mizuki Kohaku ~ Oh Holy Light-^-
    Shelter me from this again
    Dedicated to the end
Help me break my conscience in
To free us from our innocence

I gently looked up from my book for a moment, seeing that the computer was finally done downloading the few songs onto my MP3 player. In all honesty, I never thought I'd like a band such as Breaking Benjamin, but after some of my friends got me into them, I couldn't resist but to download at least a few songs. Smiling with satisfaction, I listened to one of the newly downloaded songs, a slightly mellow song titled "Forget It." At this time, I felt like searching across the internet for something to do, but wasn't sure exactly what would meet my desire for contentment.

Moments passed, and I realized that nothing seemed new on MySpace. Sighing, I checked around a few other sites. Nothing new on those either. Spring Break was starting to get boring with nothing new online. But suddenly, a message popped up saying that I had one new mail message. Curious as to who this would be, I pulled up the window and read the message description. There was no subject or sender address...odd, I thought. But what really intrigued me was the message given with a yes or no option.

"Time is running out. Make your move. Will you decide the fate of the world?"

I barely noticed that my hand drifted towards the option of Yes, double clicking it. Suddenly, the screen turned off, yet I was engulfed by a white light somehow. I was slowly being dragged into the screen. I shaked my head as if I were to wake up, but this wasn't a dream, was it? I attempted to yelp, but the pink-colored pressure around me seemed to choke me, yet at the same time caress me. It was an odd feeling, and then flashing before me was a light pink symbol resembling a mix of a star and flower. Severely baffled, I tried to think, yet slowly drifted into what seemed like a deathly slumber.

    -----
    -----

The air around me seemed nimble and sweet, as if a natural incense were burning around me. Wait...incense. I never burned any in my life at home. Suddenly, with gentle hands, I touched the ground below me; grass was all I felt. My other hand suddenly gripped onto a device which I pulled forward. It was sea green with a grip the color of the ocean. Puzzled, I gently looked at its features, a screen and white buttons...it slightly resembled a hybrid of a tamagotchi and a cellular phone. I turned it onto its other side, and I saw the same pink symbol as before I passed out.

Wondering if this meant something, I slid it into the pocket of my jeans, but felt a slight tear along the way. I looked down and noticed that my clothing had changed greatly; I was adorned in an orange polo shirt over a white and blue sweater-like top, and the jeans were indeed full of tears and holes, as well as the occasional paint stain, which I didn't understand. My shoes were now a popular brand of skating shoes: a pair of black and red Osiris. Wondering what had happened, and not to mention where I was, I felt a cold nose nuzzling against my hand. I turned to see a unique-looking dog...that is, if it was a dog rather than a beast.

"What are you?" I questioned, still astonished by the fact I didn't seem to be on Earth, yet at the same time in a world similar to it. Suprisingly, I got an answer from the canine.

"I'm a Digimon - Digital Monster at your service, Kohaku. My name is Labramon, and you're in the Digital World now." She spoke, smiling slightly. "You'll learn later why I know your name and such, but for now, why not come with me and explore?" Feeling slightly childish for agreeing, I nodded my head. Standing up on my feet, I sighed deeply. It felt odd; being in the world, yet at the same time, being somewhere completely different. I walked along the wide valley surrounded by hills, wondering whether or not I was the only human here.

It seemed like an hour had passed due to silence by the time we finally stopped, when in actuality it was only a lapse of fifteen minutes. From a distance, I looked up to see somebody who was generally as I confused as I was with a Digimon, as well. Quietly observing him, I tried to remain hidden, perhaps nervous of getting a cold reaction. He was adorned much like Hatake Kakashi off of Naruto with some alterations, and his partner greatly resembled a seal. I gathered up some confidence and stepped towards this young man...he stood a good eight inches taller than I did, and he obviously seemed glad to see another human, even if he didn't know me.

"Hello," I spoke, my voice hiding my childhood shyness, yet still was growing into a deeper tone. "I'm Mizuki Kohaku...well, Kohaku, or Haku. Who are you?"

*tagged. Tackles Hinata*You're not even one of my students ya big silly :O

    Name: Hatake Michael(explained later on)
    Age: 17
    Gender: Male
Appearance: In the real world: Mike wears basic clothing. A black Metallica t-shirt, and a pair of jeans. He wears black vans shoes. His hair is short and brown, a bit messy, but otherwise normal, and his eyes are a light hazel color. Mike stands about 5'8, with a thin, lanky build. Nothing special
In the Digital World: Mike wears this: The sandals are boots, and there is no face-mask or bandana, as well as no kunai obviously.)
Personality: Mike is a very responsible person, of course. Although like his favorite anime character, he can be a bit late, he is never really 'absent' if his friends need him. Although this can be a bit of a fault, as people use this to take advantage of his trusting nature. Mike is also very shy, almost too shy at times, to really stand up for himself. His meek nature and trustworthiness make him a perfect candidate for the Crest of Reliability.
    Alliance: Light
D-Serenity: Silver with blue borders and white buttons.
    Crest/Element: Reliability/Water
    Digimon: Gomamon
History: Mike was born and raised in Japan, thus learning Japanese as his primary language. His father, however, wanted his son to have the entire world open to him and thus his mother and father taught him english. However, his classmates were always jealous. Not because he knew english, but because the English teacher would always pick him to demonstrate to the class. And of course, Michaels shy-yet-helpful nature showed through. People would ask him to do their homework. Of course, he complied, but it soon got to the point where he was doing more of THEIR homework than his own. Soon, he began to do his afterwards as his grades slipped. The teacher assumed that he was simply cheating off the other students, and his grades slipped even farther. It got so bad, his grades slipped from a very respectable high marks to mid-to-low marks. This pushed him to try and make everyone else happy in order to make up for it...leading him down a path of self-destruction.
Relationships: None, has a crush on Laura Deirdre.
    Theme Songs:
Boom - System of a Down
    i-e-a-i-a-i-o - System of a Down
...And Justice for All - Metallica
    Bat Country - Avenged Sevenfold
Other: Mike does not have his faith or beliefs(athiesm) being trampled on. It's a pet peeve.
    Digimon:

    Name: Gomamon
    Type: Aquatic Mammal
    Class: Vaccine
    Appearance: You should know him!
    Personality:
Attacks: Marching Fishes - A void opens up in the nearest body of water(if none, it cannot be used) and summons fish through it. These fish assault the target and then return. It rarely does more than bother the enemy. Although it CAN be used to create a raft or safety net if falling into water. Underwater, this can be any fish; even sharks!
Big Wave Attack - Gomamon fires a blast of pressurised water at the enemy. Underwater it is barely visible save for the bubbles it creates.
Sharp Edge - Gomamon uses his incredibly sharp claws to hack at the enemy.
    Element: Water

    Name: Ikakkumon
    Type: Aquatic Mammal
    Class: Vaccine
Appearance: You should know him, too.
Personality: Ikakkumon is serious, but still friendly. He's like a giant sea-puppy, in a way.
Attacks: Harpoon Torpedo - Ikkakumon fires his horn off(it regrows almost immedietly). The horns casing falls off, revealing a missile. This attack is effective, but can be nearly unavoidable underwater. He can fire up to 3.
Heat Top - Ikkakumon absorbs heat into the fat and blubber on his back, making him warmer. Too warm for passengers, however. Even still, this allows Ikakkumon to use the now-arctic conditions of the rest of his body to fire a blast of ice from his mouth.
    Element: Water/Ice

    Name: Zudomon
    Type: Aquatic Mammal
    Class: Vaccine
    Appearance: Again... You remember him.
Personality: Zudomon is a tough, and incredibly serious fighter. He will not stray from a fight, and uses his shell as a shield to protect himself if necessary.
Attacks: Thors Hammer - Zudoman fires a bolt of electricity from his hammer. He can also slam it down to create a shockwave.
Horn and Tusk - A biting/ramming attack. Pretty basic, but he can do incredible damage.
Stormbolt - Zudomon hurls his hammer at the enemy. It eventually returns, but this does leave him without a hammer for some time.
Fury of the Odin son - Zudomon, being the closest thing to Thor the digital world has, uses his "heritage" to devistate the opponent with an unusually quick flurry of punches, kicks, claws, bites, and rams. Each hit strikes like thunder, but strangely has the water element.
Underwater, all but Fury of the Odin son are relatively useless.
    Element: Water

    Name: Metal WereGarurumon
    Type: Machine
    Class: Vaccine
Appearance: Ahh! An original! Well, partially. Imagine this, only upright/Were. Some changes are this form lacks the "wings", and the tail.
Personality: M.WereGarurumon is a powerful fighter. He refuses to back down from a challenge under any circumstances. Even his own demise.
Attacks: Metal Wolf Claw - Rather than fire missiles, MWGarurumon fires a blue X-shaped blast at the enemy.
Metal Wolf Kick - A powerful shockwave accompanies the devastating kick.
Crystal Spiral - Bring his palm/arms back in classic Hadoken formation, then throws them forward(same hand motion) firing a burst of water surrounded by icy energy and iciciles.
The Finisher - MWGarurumon charges ice and water energy into his fist, and delivers an incredibly strong blow to his opponent. This is almost always enough to destroy the opponent. And for good reason, as it will ALWAYS revert MWGarurumon into his In-Training form.
    Element: Ice/Water
Other: While technically a machine, he does not possess the metal element. He is an adept swimmer and all his attacks perform very well underwater.

    Sorry it took so long!

Hatake Mike (last name first; nicknamed "Kakashi-sensei" after his last name)
    ----------------
    Bored. Boredom. Nothing to do.
This is how my spring break started, and how it'd inevitably end. With a deep sigh, I hefted myself over to the computer chair.
"PAs still down...4Chans perverted...god, is there ANYTHING to do...?"
My mind wandered as it is prone to do, staring blankly at the computer screen; empty save for a few scant icons and the background. Despite the wandering, the path lead back to one name...
Laura. Laura Deirdre. I barely knew her, but she was gorgeous. She rarely smiled, but when she did it was beautiful.

My mind pulled away from Laura for a moment, long enough for me to notice that my gmail notifier had gone off. I sighed and shook my head. "Give her up" a voice in my head told me, "She's a lost cause."
I heeded the call at the back of my mind, clicking on the mail. It looked like some stupid City of Heroes or World of Warcraft event mail.
"Lovely..." I thought, "More lag, disconnects, and stupid people crowding around..."Time is running out. Make your move. Will you decide the fate of the world?" the email read. Despite the obvious mountain of salt I was taking with this message actually deciding the fate of any world, I clicked "Yes" and was almost immedietly whisked away...

    ------

I awoke what felt like days later, the warm sand beneath my cheek, water gently licking at my head. I felt gingerly around my head for any serious wounds. Luckily, none. Although my hands seemed to have scabbed over, I could not feel my palms.
I looked at my palms to inspect the damage, and was shocked to find fingerless gloves, with a small metal plate on the back of the hand. I further inspected my body, finding the unmistakable green and brown ninja uniform.
    "Amazing..." I muttered to myself.
"Eh. It's not so great," a nasally voice interupted. Instinctively, I spun around and reached for my side pouch...even if I didn't have any kunai knives, whoever snuck up on me wouldn't know.
"Oh no, don't pelt me with change." The 'attacker' was a small, white otter/seal creature, with a red maine of hair, and sharp claws on his long paws.
"Change? More like a deadly kunai! Who are you?"
The creature rolled it's eyes, "Dig DEEPER, smarty."
I did as instructed, mouth standing agape as I revealed a small, smooth device. The color was a deep silvery hue, with blue borders, and white buttons.
    "Wh...what is it?"
"That," The otter explained, "Is a digivice. Well, D-Tector. It lets Digimon -- that's me -- digivolve! I'm Gomamon by the way!"
I shook my head and put put my hand on my forehead.
"This..." I stumbled back, falling back onto a log and kneeling forward, "This is all too much..."
Gomamon patted my back gently, nodding. "I understand..."

I took a deep breath and stepped to the beaches edge. A few more deep breaths brought the salt air into my lungs, cleansing my body. It was so crisp...so beautiful.
"How is this place so clean? I didn't think there was any place in the world this beautiful..."
Gomamon chuckled to himself, "This isn't YOUR world anymore...this is the DIGITAL world!" His face turned from a smile, to a painful grimace, "But not even THIS will last..."
He explained to me all the strife that was falling over the Digital World, of the Gods and Demons that constantly waged war, ripping the Digital World apart with their petty quarrels. I almost questioned why I was supposedly on the side of "good". He went on to explain of the crests, and how Reliability was my shining quality...

Within about an hours time, taking in all the new knowledge, I saw the only "familiar" face amongst these weird creatures...Another human.
"Hello," He spoke softly. Just a kid. "I'm Mizuki Kohaku...well, Kohaku, or Haku. Who are you?"
I smiled and waved gently to the boy, responding kindly. "Afternoon...I'm Hatake Michael...My friends just call me Kakashi-sensei."
"Oooh like the anime character!" he said, smiling a bit. I nodded in response.
    "Mmhmm. And who's your friend?"
He smiled a bit, scooping the dog into his arms. "This...this is Labramon. My Digimon."
"Nice to meet you, Labramon. This is Gomamon."
Labramon and Gomamon smiled and waved politely, as I scooped Gomamon into my arms.

Before either of us had drawn our first breath as a "team", it seemed as if we were already under attack, a barrage of rocks raining down on us. I covered my head and grumbled.
"Great. I JUST make a new friend and already we're getting stoned together! And here I thought I wasn't that impressionable!"
I heard a bit of nervous laughter from my companions, as the small rock creatures fired their barrage of stones.
"Can you guys do anything helpful?"
"I'm guessing a claw or fish attack is pretty useless! So...Big Wave!" Gomamon sucked in a deep breath, firing out a pressurized jet of water, tumbling a few rock creatures down, but more seemed to keep coming.
"Ya know Haku, feel free to fight back..."
Both our D-Tectors began to hum. I glanced at it quickly, ignoring the slowly rising bar.
"Yeah yeah, Gotsumon. Rock Fist. Rock Digimon. Thanks. That's helping me not get clubbed to death by huge freakin' rocks."
The D-Tector buzzed and hummed, beginning to glow slowly, eerily. The last thing I needed was a new device to explode mid-battle...

A plan that only she knows and wont reveal yet. She believes she can string people along to help accomplish this plan. For what ever she does she will use the excuse that it is part of God’s plan that she does that, it also fits into her belief of anything that happens to them. She will twist and turn anything to fit her own twisted logic. While at the same time she will use her body to help further her own agenda. At the age of eighteen she has become so wrapped up in it that she doesn’t listen to any reason, she has realized she is on a mission from God, and wont let anyone stand in the way of that mission.

    [color=gray]~*~*~*~*~ Following God’s Plan ~*~*~*~*~

[color=gray]My pointer finger slowly traced along the glass of the shop as I walked past in the mid day sun. The window was dirty, unclean, and filthy. This world was the same way, dirty, unclean, and filthy. Yet just like this window. I wiped my hand across the surface and beneath it; the window was clean, with just a wipe of my finger. God would do that soon, wipe his hand across the Earth as if it were just a window, and wipe away the dirt and grime. The sign of this would come soon.

My fingers continued on their path, past concrete and past steel. The fingers are very special, Michelangelo used them in his panting of the Sistine chapel, and they were God’s way of reaching out to man. With out stretched fingers God reached out in that panting, I took the moment to study myself as I continued this line of thought. I looked down at my own outstretched fingers as I traced the handle to the apartment I was currently staying in. These fingers would once again touch the same finger of God. Yet now they had to touch sin, with a sickening sigh, I opened the door and stepped in.

“Did you enjoy your walk?” The man asked, as I slid past him, a slight grin on one side of my face, a glance with my eye. Why did God make these men so gullible? All I had to do is smile and bat my eyes and he would be happy, any line of thought would be instantly erased from his head. Yet even as gullible and infantile as he was, he had his uses. Food, a place to stay, and money to keep me afloat until I moved on to the next. “I’m going to go to a meeting, I’ll be back soon.” He bent down and kissed the side of my neck causing me to grimace. This was all for God’s plan, all I had to do is follow out that plan.

I pushed my way over to the computer chair and logged on as he reached the door. “Have fun.” I replied lazily and bored. With out school or anything, these days were filled with boredom and random surfing in-between my walks on the street. My fingers moved over to Yahoo.jp to check my email. Inside I could feel a pull on my heart, on my very chest as I opened my email account. In my head two battles were raging, one saying this was the beginning of God’s plan, that this pulling was a sign. The other saying that my hopes shouldn’t be raised too high.

The pointer scrolled past the useless dribble and arrived at an email from someone unknown. This was the sign! I opened the email to find a simple text saying:[I] ‘Time is running out. Make your move. Will you decide the fate of the world?’. God works in mysterious ways, I had expected the text to be something more, yet who is God for explanations? With a bit of reluctance on why I would need a question, why God would need to test my faith, I clicked on yes.

Light and Darkness, intertwined and mixed in a cocktail of energy shot forth from the computer and ensnarled me. I did not think, I did not react, I embraced my fate. I was becoming God’s plan, it was time to carry out that plan and I would carry it out. My mind fell into sleep and darkness as I was pulled towards the computer. Now was the time for God’s plan.

    [color=gray]
    ~*~*~*~*~

[color=gray] I awoke to a soft breeze, grass swaying all around me with the sound of light chatter and discussion close by. Where was I? Was I in Eden now? I hadn’t carried out his plan yet so why was I back home? A bird shaped wing flew in front of my face to startle me even more. “Took you long enough to wake up.” A bird shaped creature mumbled as I rose up into a sitting position.

A talking bird? It was impossible. “There must be some kind of mistake.” I mumbled shaking my head, it was only then that I realized that I was dressed differently, I felt different. How did this all happen?

The bird seemed to sigh and paced around a bit as if I was annoying him. “You’re in the Digital World okay? There is no mistake.” He snapped back his voice filled with hostility and annoyance. My eyes narrowed as my fist balled up, how dare he speak to an angel of the lord like that? I would make him pay!

“Hello, I’m Laura…Deirdre.” A quiet voice spoke up which drew my attention away from this insulting little worm. I would deal with him later and pull each and every one of his feathers out for talking to an angel the way he did. For now though, I would play my role as the angel of God, I would follow his plan for the Digital World. Besides, who was I to argue with God’s will.

    Name: Ryo Ensign (pronounced "en-sin")
    Age: 18
    Gender: Male
Appearance: In the real world, he's 6'4" and looks like this (the one in blue; minus the red dyed hair and ponytail): http://www.deviantart.com/view/24686138/ in the Digital world, he gets a blue skull cap, a black t-shirt under a long-sleeved striped, opened, long-sleeved overshirt, and tan kahki shorts (that go a few inches below his knees); his shoes change into black cross-trainers and he gets a pocketwatch that hangs from a chain connected to a loop on the lower part of his shorts; he also gets a pair of really large, red headphones that hang over his neck (they don't have a cord to connect to anything)
Personality: Nice and doesn't care what others think of him. He always expresses what he thinks and goes with whatever he feels is right. Despite his nice persona, he doesn't try to make friends with others. He isn't shy, he just doesn't care about trying to make friends with others [anymore (this is explained more in the History section)]. He can be cheerful at times, and even charming; but he doesn't feel like showing those aspects of himself most of the time since it can lead to friendships (once again, explained in History).
D-Serenity: blue with a white rim and handle
    Crest/Element: Friendship/Ice
    Digimon: ChilledGabumon (Nickname: Gab)
History: As a kid living in Hawaii, Ryo had of personality and kindness that helped him to make friends with anyone. But by the time he turned 9, his father had enlisted in the millitary and was reassigned. That meant he and his mom had to go with him. Ryo was sad that he had to leave his friends behind, but looked foward to making new friends at his new home. Which he did. But a year and a half later, his dad was reassigned and they had to move again. And after a year at his new, new home, he had to move away from his new friends again. And again and again and again. It quickly became obvious to Ryo that all his friendships would end abruptly since he would move away from them almost as soon as he met them, so he just stopped trying. He gave up on making friends. Although he remained polite and kind to everyone he met, he never went the extra step to friendship. He began to fear friendship because of the fact that something may happen that would result in him never seeing the person again; and he doesn't want to deal with the "complications" (as he calls it) of losing someone close. Although deep inside, he still yearns for a friendship, he's not willing to risk it. So instead, he has created imaginary friends to keep himself company over the years. Yes, he still has them at the age of 18.
    Relationships: None.

    ~Ryo~

"We're sorry for the inconvienence, but the train should be arriving shortly."

Ryo sighed. He had been waiting for the train to come for what seemed like forever. You can only freeze up Tetris Attack on your DS so many times before it just gets boring. Ryo closed his DS and looked up.

"It's getting dark..." Ryo mumbled as if someone was right next to him. Ryo took a moment to close his eyes and take in the cool evening breeze. It almost reminded him of Hawaii. Memories began to flood back into him. The sun, the sand, the.... friends.... Ryo was interrupted by the roar of the train as it came rushing into the station as if to make up on it's lost time. Ryo slipped onto the train and took a seat in a far corner. He noticed some people he knew getting on and made an effort to hide himself from them.

"That's the last thing I need," Ryo mumbled to himself as he put on his headphones and flipped over to a nice Pilllows track. As he let the music play, he looked out the window and stared at the sky as the stars began to peek out between the clouds. The acquaintances nearby were getting louder. Someone's joke made the whole group break out in laughter. Ryo turned up the music and closed his eyes.

    "Last stop: Oak Brook..."

Ryo slowly opened his eyes and saw the Oak Brook sign as the train came to a halt. Quickly, he hopped up and departed from the train. It wasn't too long before he had reached his house, whizzed past his parents who were already beginning to question him about his tardiness, and stepped into his room. His room was dark and filled to the brim with posters, books, manga, and games. Ryo didn't bother to turn on the light since, within moments, the room would be illuminated by his monitor screen. He tossed his electronic accessories onto the couch and flopped down in his chair in front of his PC.

Thanks to his new cable connection, Ryo was online within seconds. As he made his usual stops across the internet, he started up a playlist filled with jazz music from Cowboy Bebop and hip-hop beats from Samurai Champloo. The music filled the room as Ryo slowly bobbed his head to the beats and surfed the web. As Ryo went down the list of usual sites, he eventually came to the email site.

"Probably more junk mail..." Ryo sighed as he swiftly typed in his SN and Password.

As he scrolled through his inbox, he came upon a single new email entitled, "Time is running out. Make your move. Will you decide the fate of the world?"

The only thing in the message was the repeated title and two links. One said "yes", the other said "no". Before Ryo had time to think, the mouse had already gone over to the "yes" button and had been clicked. Ryo didn't think much of it at first, but suddenly his music stopped playing, and the screen began to flash. His eyes widened as the dark room filled with an eerily white light. Ryo felt himself being pulled in. He began to panic when his arm was caught inside of the screen. Still holding the mouse with his other hand (out of panic), he tried to pull his hand back. Instead, his other arm was sucked in and soon, the rest of his body was in as well.

Ryo was surrounded by light as he fell through the tunnel of light. He looked at his clothes and watched them in amazement as they slowly changed. He looked over at his hand and saw the mouse he had been holding was also changing. It was turning into some weird, blue device with a little screen. Suddenly, the white light around Ryo disappeared and Ryo landed face-first into a pile of snow. With a groan, Ryo pulled himself out of the snow and brushed himself off. As he brushed himself off, he took a look at his new clothes. The first thing he noticed was that he was no longer wearing nice, long jeans and was, instead, in shorts.

"You'll freeze out here like that!"

Ryo turned around to see an odd little lizard with a horn wearing a fur coat.

"Naw, y'think?" Ryo said sarcastically as he finished brushing himself off.

"Hehe. I'm ChilledGabumon! Nice ta meet'cha!"

Default Re: Forgiven Memory - It Starts; LSUs Welcome (Possible Maturity Later)

~Name: Tanaka Maboroshi (last name, first name; Shi for short)
    ~Age: 16
    ~Gender: Male
~Appearance: Shi is around average height for his age, with a build that is rather more sinew than muscle. He has a pale, but not exactly gaunt skin tone, which contrasts nicely with his raven hair, which is cut to earlobe-length and falls over one eye and is tied into a small ponytail at the nape of his neck. His eyes are a deep chocolate-brown, and usually seem to be glaring at something.
-Real World details: He wears a long-sleeved indigo shirt under a black T-shirt with the words, "I cannot stand you. Please make a note of it." in white across the chest. For pants, he just wears whatever random pair of black jeans he can find. He also wears black leather boots.
-Digital World details: His eyes turn a deep indigo, and he gains a pair of gloves with steel plates on the knuckles. Otherwise his appearance basically remains the same.
~Personality: Shi tends to be very quiet. Most find it difficult to tell what he's thinking, as his expression hardly ever changes. What little sense of humor he has tends to be dry and sarcastic. He also tends to be overly-analytical, and has the ability to solve problems in his head while others are still standing around talking about it. His outlook on life is rather bleak, and he has often been described as morbid. Nevertheless, he has a strong sense of right and wrong, and is not easily swayed from his opinions.
    ~Alliance: Light
~D-Serenity: Black, with the grip being marbled silver and black. Buttons are silver as well.
    ~Crest/Element: Darkness
    ~Digimon: Kuromon
~History: An only child coming from an abusive household, it's a miracle Shi has not been sent to a mental institution yet. Though he was recognized as a brilliant student, as early as fifth grade he would wind up stuck in detention for drawing in class instead of taking notes. The violent and often disturbing nature of his works would occasionally merit a trip to talk to the school counselor. He didn't mind these things so much; anything to keep him away from his family. When he would get home from school, he would do his homework listening to his mother sobbing, get beaten by his father when he got home before dinner, and then fall asleep to their shouted arguments. Finally he learned to just tune them out and drown himself in drawing and in his computer.
    ~Relationships: Anyone? >>
    ~Theme Songs:
-Thank You For the Venom ~ My Chemical Romance
-Down With the Sickness ~ Disturbed
    -Cold ~ Static-X
    -Aura ~ From .hack//SIGN
~Other: Nothing I can think of.

    Digimon:
    ~Name: Kuromon
~Name Origin: "Kuro" is Japanese for "black".
    ~Type: Data
    ~Class: Shadow
    ~Level: Rookie
~Appearance: Slightly reminiscent of the Shadow Heartless from Kingdom Hearts (attached), Kuromon has a small body and large yellow eyes. His form is smoother, however, and the antennae atop his head are gently curved and nearly as long as his whole body. He also prefers to move about on all fours as opposed to his hind legs. The symbol for the Crest of Darkness is indented slightly into his back in swirling white. Kuromon is about the size of a beagle.
~Personality: Kuromon is mostly very quiet and hardly ever makes a sound. When he does choose to speak, he is revealed to be rather insightful, and seems almost capable of reading people's minds.
    ~Attacks:
-Dark Sphere: Lobs a small (about 1 1/2 in. diameter) spheres of darkness.
-Mist: Creates a mist that obscures vision.
    ~Element: Darkness

    ~Name: Cochemarimon (Coshe-MAHR-ee-mon)
~Name Origin: "Cauchemar" is French for "nightmare", and I felt like spelling it weirdly.
    ~Type: Data
    ~Class: Spectre
    ~Level: Champion
~Appearance: Cochemarimon really doesn't have much of a physical form. What can be discerned are two large horns, curved around like a ram's, and the definite shape of two legs and four arms. About eight feet in height, his entire body is formed of a dense, black, smoky substance which is constantly warping and wavering, save for his eyes, which are large discs of fluorescent yellow. Hanging from one of his "horns" is a pendant bearing the symbol of Darkness, dangling by a golden chain.
~Personality: Not as quiet as Kuromon, though most of his remarks are rather monosyllabic. Otherwise, he's just as mysterious and strangely knowing as ever.
    ~Attacks:
-Nightmare Stare: Leers at the target, causing them to see horrible apparitions.
-Shadow Volley: Fires five medium-sized (about 4 in. diameter) spheres of darkness (one from between the horns and one from each arm)
-Grapple: Cochemarimon grabs the target, throws them into the air, and hurls a sphere of darkness at them.
    ~Element: Darkness

    ~Name: Abyssimon
~Name Origin: An abyss is an endless void.
    ~Type: Data
    ~Class: Emptiness
    ~Level: Ultimate
~Appearance: His general appearance is that of a freakishly slender humanoid figure. Clothed only in an indigo loincloth with the Darkness symbol painton on it, with a belt made of skulls, and with his curling ram-like horns he is quite a frightening sight to behold. His entire body is made of the same sort of cloudy stuff that Cochemarimon is made from, only Abyssimon has a sort of translucent black skin holding him together. His eyes, while still the same eerie yellow color, are more almond-shaped. In one hand he holds a golden scythe-like weapon shaped like a pendulum (the medieval torture device, like in The Pit and the Pendulum), inscribed with various runes that throb with a violet light.
~Personality: Seemingly incapable of speech, Abyssimon is much more violent than his previous forms.
    ~Attacks:
-Tick-Tock: Holds his scythe upside-down and swings it back and forth. This creates an illusion within the scythe, usually depicting the beholder's death (or at least them dying in some way), which most often will stun them.
-Eternal Torture: Swings the scythe back and forth, slashing at the opponent and cutting very, very slightly deeper with each slice.
-Blades of Darkness: The blades of the scythe detach to become blades of pure darkness. They fly at the enemy life boomerangs.
    ~Element: Darkness

    ~Name: Utsuromon
~Name Origin: "Utsuro" is Japanese for "Void/Blank/Empty".
    ~Type: Data
    ~Class: Void
    ~Level: Mega
~Appearance: Start off with a larger, more buff version of Abyssimon. Add black armor (Darkness symbols on the spiked shoulder plates), elongate the horns, and add a spiked tail and bat-like wings. Change the Scythe to a double-bladed sword, and you've got Utsuromon.
~Personality: Basically the same as Abyssimon, only is very vocal.
    ~Attacks:
-Blackout: Makes the area around the target completely dark.
-Ragnarok: A fast sword attack consisting of several slashes, stabs, and energy attacks.
-Voodoo: Indigo and black symbols appear on the ground, and something random happens. (gravity could become inverted, a smokescreen could be generated, the air in the area could vanish, the ground could explode... lots of things like that)
-Doom: Creates a vortex of blackness around the target, which explodes.
    ~Element: Darkness

    -=~ Maboroshi Tanaka - Darkness ~=-

Boredom. Intense, palpable, stifling boredom. The varicolored images flitting across the television screen did nothing to sate it. No relief came from the online world. My peers at school had of late ground down my last nerve, so appearing in public was not an option. So there I sat, blaring music abusing my eardrums as with dulled eyes I in turn abused the refresh button.

A numb film of sorts clouded my mind, and I was considering simply going to sleep for a while, when I was startled suddenly by a donging sound. A small panel appeared in the lower-right hand corner of my computer screen, proclaiming that I had a new E-mail message from an unknown sender. Wary yet curious in my bored state, I dragged the cursor over to the little box and clicked.

The message was simple. Some text in plain black font, and below it a yes or no option.

"Time is running out. Make your move. Will you decide the fate of the world?"

I sat back, perturbed. What could this have possibly meant? Surely it was merely a prank, some poor imbecile looking for attention. But, considering the alternative (more mind-numbing boredom), I gave in and selected the "yes" option.

Immediately, I wished I hadn't. The screen suddenly turned black as a sense of foreboding came over me. The blackness of the screen then blurred and began to spread, like ink dripped in water. It overcame my vision, drowning me in the darkness.

No! This wasn't what I'd had in mind! This dark, there was something strange about it, alluring and powerful, yet terrible. It was trying to draw me in.

Whatever there was left of me in this void recoiled. The vast, all-consuming blackness flickered again - once, twice, three times. I felt it beginning to recede, black fading to white, as a voice echoed in my head, speaking of darkness and light, good and evil, words I can't remember. Then it all faded.

    ~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~

Now before me I saw a blue sky come into existence. My eyes squinted to adjust as I sat up groggily. "What the hell...."

    ~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~

    Unfortunately, I must end it there. If anyone wants to involve Shi in anything, feel free. Remember that he's on the good guys' side! ^.^;
Yeah, I can break necks with my mind.
