Well Sora, I think our opponent forgot you aren't just a silly ghost, but a dark type ghost...so, we shouldn't have to worry much about ghost attacks either way, attacking or defending, since he's a normal type...so, Let's go with a Dynamicpunch, being pissed off should help you add extra damage, and vent your anger...follow up with a Thunderpunch. Hopefully we will do some damage, and get rid of anger real quick, as the old saying goes..."kill 2 birds with 1 stone."

It's the first bracket of the aptly named Tiny Tourney... trainers may only use small, unevolved Pokemon, all but nullifying brute force as a strategy. Trainers must think creatively to utilize the abilities of these small Pokemon, so this tournament is an opportunity to see many comboes, strategies, and even Pokemon that wouldn't normally see the light of day. This match is between Dark Dragonite and Charles Legend, neither of them a newcomer to ASB any way you look at it. A Pokeball is tossed from both sides, revealing a chipper Aipom and a creepy Sableye.
The Aipom gets things off to a rude start. Standing on one hand, he sticks his tongue out at Sora, giving him the finger and insinuating that his female parental unit may or may not be a prostitute. As one might imagine, this irritates Sora a little bit, and the Sableye begins visibly seething with rage. (-2% EN Mr. Slaps) Sora howls a war cry and charges across the stadium, his fist glowing with a brilliant brown sheen. He slams it as hard as he can into Mr. Slaps' gut, knocking the Aipom aside and dealing heavy damage. Mr. Slaps tumbles backwards several feet and when he gets back up, he seems... confused. (-12% HP Mr. Slaps, -8% EN Sora)
Dynamicpunch, although devastating, takes a good deal of energy, and so Sora takes a moment before attacking again, panting. However, before he can. Mr. Slaps gets back up, and, staving off confusion for the moment, fires an ominous orb of negative energy at Sora. The attack hits directly and pushes the Sableye back, but it doesn't seem to faze him that much. (-8% HP Sora, -6% EN Mr. Slaps) Sora shrugs it off and once more charges at Mr. Slaps, this time punching him with an electrified fist. Mr. Slaps yelps, but the attack doesn't seem like much compared to Sora's earlier assault. (-7% HP Mr. Slaps, -6% EN Sora)

Sora begins the round by jumping straight at Mr. Slaps really, really quickly. We're talking major speed here. He gives the Aipom a quick smack across the face that, while not dealing a lot of damage, nevertheless severaly startles poor Mr. Slaps, leaving him unable to perform the action required of him. However, on the positive side, the slap was just enough to bring the Aipom back to his senses - in other words, he is no longer confused. Sora bounces back, grinning like a maniac. (-2% HP Mr. Slaps, -3% EN Sora)
Mr. Slaps shakes his head, glad to be rid of the accursed mind-boggling effect of the Dynamicpunch. He begins to wiggle his fingers back and forth in a rythmic fashion... and suddenly, something in his brain clicks. As if possessed, the Aipom begins waving his arms around in a jerky manner and calling for Sora to attack him. (-2% EN Mr. Slaps) Sora is momentarily confused by this - he has a feeling that Mr. Slaps' attack would have been more effective if he, Mr. Slaps, had a teammate. But he doesn't, so Sora has to attack him anyway - and the Sableye obliges. Still smiling widely, Sora fades into invisibility like a Chesire cat. Mr. Slap halts his Follow Me, recognizing it as worthless, but it doesn't really matter - out of nowhere, he gets suckerpunched in the back by a still-grinning Sora, his fist awash in dark energy. (-6% HP Mr. Slaps, -4% EN Sora)

As both Pokemon prepare to tear into each other, the battle is suddenly interrupted. With a loud screech, the microphone the ref was holding drops to the ground as the aforementioned ref dashes off of the field. He pulls out two Pokeballs and opens them, revealing a Tyranitar and a Poliwrath; they converge on a single point in the audience, severely frightening some of them. The pair of Pokemon unceremoniously grab one of the audience members, who had been yelling something about police at the ref, and haul him from the stadium. As the ref returns to the field, he mutters, "I'd like to see a crossing guard do that."
With that out of the way, the tournament match can continue. Mr. Slaps, still rather frustrated about the last round, begins to charge himself up with electricity. He howls manically, and lets loose a bolt of lightning so intense it would seem to be from the gods themselves. It falls to earth, straight for Sora... but suddenly, Sora isn't there. The Thunder attack harmlessly hits the ground, and Mr. Slaps looks around frantically. Suddenly, Sora appears behind him and punches him, his fist glowing black. (-6% HP Mr. Slaps, -9% EN Mr. Slaps, -4% EN Sora)
Mr. Slaps scowls and backs up a few steps. His tail begins to glow with a metallic sheen, and he jumps in the air. Using his considerable momentum, he performs a daring aerial maneuver and turns around in midair, so that his tail is facing forwards. Sora grins and begins to cough really loudly (and not a little disgustingly). From deep in his throat bubbles a disgusting purple ooze, and the Sableye spits it at the incoming Mr. Slaps. However, since Mr. Slaps' tail is in front, it takes the majority of the Toxic - and Steel is immune to Poison. The Toxic splatters harmlessly off, leaving Mr. Slaps to plow into Sora, tail first. (-10% HP Sora, -4% EN Sora, -8% EN Mr. Slaps)

This round begins with Mr. Slaps, the ever-cheerful Aipom, shutting his eyes and focusing his energy inwards. Suddenly, there's a brilliant burst of light, and where there once stood one hand-tailed smiling monkey, there now stand five. You know, I bet they're more fun then a barrel of... no, I can't even bring myself to finish that pun. Ahem. Sora looks over the line of monkeys standing in front of him as he frantically runs through the orders his trainer gave him. He received instructions on what to do if Mr. Slaps attacked with projectiles, attacked physically, or tried to taunt him... unfortunately, he received absolutely no instructions on what to do if Mr. Slaps didn't attack at all. He frowns and sulks as Mr. Slaps smiles at him. (-2% EN Mr. Slaps)
All 5 of the Mr. Slapses then begin to wave their stubby fingers in unison. Suddenly, an audible click is heard throughout the arena as a section of the Aipom's brain is unlocked. the group of monkeys converge on Sora and begin to wail on him with a vicious Fury Attack...or at least, they try to. Their tiny fists fass right through Sora's ghostly body. Sora thinks back to his commands and realizes that he's supposed to use Counter, but there's not really anything to Counter. The Aipoms give up and hop back, looking slightly dejected. (-3% EN Mr. Slaps)

With this match halfway over and both Pokemon relatively even, it could go either way. Both Pokemon begin their assaults at the same time: one, Sora, begins to crackle and spark with pent-up electrical energy. The other, Mr. Slaps, holds his arms out and begins to form a purply blob of negative energy in between his hands. Sora releases the Shock Wave while Mr. Slaps hurls the Shadow Ball like a bowling ball. The Shadow Ball rolls across the arena at a respectable clip and collides with Sora, the Sableye recoiling - his trainer neglected to figure in the fact that Ghost's weakness to Ghost canceled out Dark's natural resistance. Meanwhile, the Shockwave flies through the sky, occasionally touching ground: it hits the ground exactly four times, hitting a clone each time, before finding the true Mr. Slaps - and consequently frying him. (-8% HP Sora, -6% HP Mr. Slaps, -6% EN Mr. Slaps, -5% EN Sora)
Mr. Slaps frowns and scowls at Sora, who is still grinning... only now he's grinning and coughing. Not eager to find out what the heck is going on, Mr. Slaps begins to create another orb of shadow energy, but before he can finish, he is coated by a sticky, purple ooze... a disgusting Toxic. Mr. Slaps recoils in disgust, but still manages to fire his Shadow Ball. (-8% HP Sora, -6% EN Mr. Slaps, -4% EN Sora)

Technically, Sora is not being attacked, so I would think he will just chill, not wasting energy, while his foe hurts himself.

This round begins as Mr. Slaps, in what seems to be a rather unexpected move, lights his fist on fire... and then does the same for the rest of his body using the flames surrounding his fist. Ouch. Sora watches, bemused, not quite sure what to make of it. Mr. Slaps pants as he begins his next move, and Sora adopts a defensive stance, trying to shuffle through the list of commands he was given. (-4% HP Mr. Slaps, -4% EN Mr. Slaps)
Mr. Slaps then takes a step back, placing a hand on the ground - he looks very much like a football quarterback. With a sudden yowl, the Aipom jets forward, still ablaze, straight at Sora. Sora panics, not entirely certain what to do - his trainer gave him too many options to remember. Finally, he remembers that he's supposed to use Dynamicpunch... but it's too late. Mr. Slaps has already shot past. Sora glances around, only to see Mr. Slaps in his original location... not on fire anymore. However, Sora does notice that the path that Mr. Slaps took is in fact on fire... and it's a circle around him. Crap. (-5% EN Mr. Slaps)

This round begins in a shocking way, both literally and figuratively: literally because Mr. Slaps is charging up his electrical powers, and figuratively because Sora has disappeared from plain view. Sora sneakily sneaks behind Mr. Slaps and delivers a savage blow to the monkey, his fist covered in dark energy... or at least, that's what he tries to do. In reality, Sora makes it as far as the fire. He cautiously steps into it, gets scalded, and jumps back, yelping. As if to add insult to injury, a bolt of lightning falls from the bright blue sky, striking Sora precisely. (-8% HP Sora, -3% EN Sora, -5% EN Mr. Slaps)
Sora scowls. His orders involve him being in close proximity to Mr. Slaps, but being surrounded by a circle of flames sort of keeps that from happening. So, instead of trying to rush through the fires again, he sits down and sulks. Of course, a second lightning bolt from the heavens doesn't help his mood any. However, what does help his mood is that fact that the fires seem to have reached their peak. (-6% HP Sora, -5% EN Mr. Slaps)

I almost blew it on the idea that Faint Attack was like a Dark teleport...bad idea...well, I refused to waste an attack on rain dance, or anything like it...and I'd rather do damage to Aipom...so...Sora, use Psychic to use aipom like a fire blanket, smashing, and rubbing him along the burning grass...then, follow up with using Psychic in another form by restricting Aipom's windpipe, hopefully hurting, and disabling him from doing anything but suffering!!

With the blaze dying down but still very dangerous, it seems that both Pokemon are limited to long-range attacks for the time being. Sora seems to think so: he closes his eyes and sends out little psychic tendrils into the area around him, trying to sense the location of his foe. Mr. Slaps' eyes glint as he keeps a steady watch on the Sableye... and suddenly, he realizes what's going on. He dashes quickly away from his previous location. Sora grunts. He had almost had a psychic grip on the Aipom, but he managed to escape at the last second... almost as if Mr. Slaps had detected what he was doing. (-5% EN Sora, -7% EN Mr. Slaps)
Sora frowns and begins to do the same procedure over again. Sending out a psychic sensor, finding the foe, grabbing it... only once again Mr. Slaps narrowly evades the attack. However, he does it a little slower this time, almost as if Detect is taking a toll on him. (-5% EN Sora, -8% EN Mr. Slaps)
As the round ends, the fire looks much smaller now.
