I'm renewing my challenge, and hoping for a referree this time.

Again, here are the rules:

DQ Time: One week

Pokemon: Four, one out at a time.

Banned Moves: Rest, Attract, Recover Substitute, and also Toxic, Thunder Wave, Destiny Bond, Perish Song, and any moves my opponent desires to ban.

Place: Dewford Island, the beach north of Brawly's Gym.

Additional rule: Once we get a ref, we will PM our first choice of pokemon to him. Thus, one cannot intentionally trump the other with type advantage.

If jkBakura says that he is involved with four matches, this match becomes an open challenge.

It's a beautiful day in Dewford. The sun is shining, a few Wingulls float lazily offshore and caw, and a calm breeze gently blows through the town. Two trainers meet each other at the edge of town, where they had agreed to meet some time prior, and they each take a Pokeball out and toss it to the ground. One of them opens to reveal a cute, timid female Seel (jkBakura's female Seel, Keyest), while the other releases an energetic, bouncy female Ludicolo (Dark Sage's female Ludicolo, Lily).

Okay, my randomizer declares that jkBakura shall attack first. Let's go!

[jkBAKURA]

Well Keyest, first we start with the Classic Fake Out to keep our opponent on their toes.

After that we have one round to get a clear shot, so make it good with an Ice Beam, and freeze Lily cold.

After that, we use Peck (yes, Seel can learn it) while our opponent can't go anywhere.

If Lily isn't stuck, that's another matter entirely, because we'd need to keep our distance. Use Hail if that's the case.

Lily, try to beat him to the punch, and use your own Fake Out before her Fake Out hits. You're faster than she is (I looked that up), so you should beat her to the punch.

Then, use Sunny Day - it will weaken that Ice Beam.

Then, use Razor Leaf. (It's a Lotad familiy's Egg Move.) She's not an Ice Type until she grows up, so it will work wonders.

I hope my opponent is aware, that since Seel is not an Ice Type until she evolves into Dewgong, she would also take damage from her own Hail.

It's a beautiful day in Dewford. The sun is shining, a few Wingulls float lazily offshore and caw, and a calm breeze gently blows through the town. Two trainers meet each other at the edge of town, where they had agreed to meet some time prior, and they each take a Pokeball out and toss it to the ground. One of them opens to reveal a cute, timid female Seel (jkBakura's female Seel, Keyest), while the other releases an energetic, bouncy female Ludicolo (Dark Sage's female Ludicolo, Lily). The two trainers yell their commands to their respective Pokemon, and they charge into battle.
Keyest scowls at the arena: being a Seel, she isn't that maneuverable on the sand, instead preferring a locale with lots of slippery ice. Nonetheless, she prepares to dash at Lily to perform a sneak attack, but... Keyest is smacked backwards slightly by Lily, who chose to do the exact same thing. (-3% HP, Keyest; -3% EN Lily) Keyest shakes her head, unable to remember what she was about to do.
Lily takes advantage of her foe's momentary lapse to sit on the ground in a lotus position (heheh, get it? A lotus is a flower, and...). She closes her eyes and begins to chant in an arcane language, invoking an eerie silence that falls across the arena. As if to answer her, the everpresent sun becomes even brighter, casting blistering rays on everyone on the island. (-6% EN Lily) Keyest finally comes back to her senses as well, remembering her commands: she opens her maw wide and blasts forth a freezing cold ray of ice. The sun, however, severely hampers its effectiveness, and when it reaches Lily, it fails to do as much damage as Keyest hoped. (-7% HP Lily, -6% EN Keyest)
Lily recoils from the attack nonetheless and angrily gets to her feet. Acrobatically spinning in a circle, the yeti-pineapple-duck summons a maelstrom of sharp-edged leaves, hurling them across the arena, each one like a miniture shuriken. Keyest, who was about to launch an attack of her own, takes the brunt of the Razor Leaves, leaving her lacerated. (-11% HP Keyest, -5% EN Lily) Keyest scowls and charges across the beach, diving into Lily's leg with her horn, leaving the Ludicolo hopping around in a circle, holding her leg in pain. (-6% HP Lily, -3% EN Keyest)

Then use Razor Leaf again, twice.

If she tries to change the weather, spend the round in which she does so just relaxing. Then, for the rest of the round, change your moves to Water Pulse, and see what that does.

Oh how I like how this is going. and I have an idea for how to use this one.

First we use Ice Beam in front of you to disperse that Solorbeam, just like a prism, or at the very least, stall and find a way to protect yourself.

Next we use one of our favorite combos. Use an Encore from behind that wall, followed by Disable. That should lock out Lily's attacks next round, and you still have an Ice wall to protect yourself.

I'm afraid I have to ask for an official ruling on that.

What happens when you use Encore and then Disable?

Well, in the other battles in which ZI've used the combo, it literally created an attack lock, but if you want the official ruling, I'm afraid I'm at a loss

That's why I want an official ruling. It seems to give you a VERY unfair advantage. What's to keep you from using it again and again to lock down my entire team? I want an official ruling from a moderator, and I'm going to get one.

Here is the description for Disable

Disable: The victim is limned in a red glow and is unable to move so long as the user of Disable continues concentrating on the psionic grapple. The user cannot do other actions without breaking this concentration, but a sudden attack may be able to catch the suddenly-released victim by surprise. The power fails over time if held too long, regardless of how much the user concentrates. Moderate accuracy.

Look it up yourself if you want. As you see, in this setting, it does not stop my pokemon from using a move. It freezes mine in place, and the pokemon using Disable must concentrate to keep it. So your lock combo will not work.

And yes I'm going to watch this battle. I fought DS(and am a fan of his fanfics) and I'm still fighting jkBAKURA so maybe I'll learn something intresting about him.

The sun beats down mercilessly on the two combatants. Lily, being part grass, happily drinks in the sunlight, but Keyest is beginning to feel uncomfortable. However, the Seel does not have much time to dwell on that; before she knows what's happening, Lily has fired a megapowerful Solarbeam, amped up by the hot sun, directly at her. Keyest scowls and, remembering her commands, fires a beam of her own to counteract Lily's attack. (-7% EN Keyest) However, the same sun that boosted Lily's Solarbeam is hindering Keyest now; the heat lessens the power of the Ice Beam and the Solarbeam rips through it, slightly weakened. It blasts heavily into Keyest, knocking her back several feet. (-13% HP Keyest, -9% EN Lily)
Lily smiles, pleased with her success. She spins around on one foot and adjusts her 'sombrero' before launching quickly into her next attack. Out of nowhere, Lily summons a torrent of leaves in the air around her. She gestures towards Keyest, who is angrily regaining her composure, and the leaves fly off towards their target. Keyest looks up just in time to see the leaves as they swarm around her, opening up new cuts and aggravating old ones. (-11% HP Keyest, -5% EN Lily) However, this doesn't faze her much. Keyest decides to retaliate in an unusual manner: she rears up and starts to clap her fins together loudly. Lily glances around, the Seel's applause ringing in her head, drowning out all of her trainer's commands, save one: Razor Leaf. (-3% EN Keyest)
However, before Lily can perform her razor-sharp fury attack again, she suddenly finds herself unable to move. Glancing around, Lily notices Keyest, grunting and eyes screwed shut. Lily immediately knows what's happened: a Disable. She struggles against it as much as she can until Keyest gets tired of it and unceremoniously drops the Ludicolo. (-3% EN Lily, -7% EN Keyest)

The Ice attacks are too easily countered, and take up a bit of energy, but I have an idea.

Use a Slam attack to catapault Lily into the water. It won't be able to swim well with those arms, even if it is a water type.

Next use Ice Beam and freeze the water, trapping Lily inside, or even under.

Then, when he comes at your for that Slam, use Swords Dance to dodge.

Next, blow him down with Uproar.

The sun continues to shine heavily on the two Pokemon, but if Keyest has her way, it won't remain like that for long... She rears up onto her tail and claps her flippers together, silently praying for the sweet sweet release rain would bring from the harsh sun. (-6% EN Keyest) It would seem her prayers have been answered as well - grey storm clouds roll over the beach, completely obscuring the sun. Moments later, thunder rolls and rain begins to fall. Meanwhile, Lily sits on the ground and closes her eyes, enjoying the cool rainfall. (+5% EN Lily)
Lily clambers to her feet and stares down Keyest. The Seel backs up a few paces (or whatever the equivalent is for a Seel) while her foe begins to dance in some strange manner: ghostly images of swords appear around her and clash together. Meanwhile, Keyest rears back and throws herself at Lily, flying through the sword images and tackling her hard. Having a Pokemon that's almost 200 pounds fall on you isn't pleasant, and Lily finds it hard to keep her balance: she topples into the ocean, although her attack -is- boosted. (-8% HP + -4% EN Lily, -5% EN Keyest)
Lily smiles: the water is her natural element, and it feels much more relaxing than the sand on the beach. She bobs in the water and watches her Seel foe prepare her attack. Before Keyest can release the Ice Beam, however, Lily lets loose a blast of noise. The sound wave travels across the beach, scaring away several Wingull, before it impacts with Keyest, knocking her back slightly. (-6% HP Keyest, -4% EN Lily) However, this does not deter Keyest: she opens her maw and blasts forth a chilly ray of frozen water. The attack is aimed at the water instead of Lily, and as such, she does not really receive damage from it. Also, since Keyest is trying to freeze the ocean, it doesn't work too well: instead, she just manages to freeze some of it surrounding Lily, leaving the Ludicolo wearing an icy floaty. (-7% EN Keyest)

Follow up with a Body Slam.

Then, so long as you're close up, hit her with a Mega Kick.

Oh no, I'm not falling for that one.

Keyest, use Waterfall, it's a water versian of Quick Attack, so you can swim behind that wave, and out of reach before it gets to you.

With Lily immobile, and washed up on the beach, and you far out of range of those physical moves, take the next two turns to get your energy back.

If you can't swim behind the wave, Dive under it, then just swim up again and rest the same way.

Lily, despite being trapped in an ice floaty, gets this round off to a quick start: using her natural command over the water element, she calls upon the forces of nature to summon a mighty wave. Riding at the top of it like a surfer, Lily commands the wave to crash into the Seel sitting on the beach: the wave bends to her whim and breaks heavily against the shore. Lily picks herself up rather awkwardly due to the ice and prepares to look smug at her foe... but Keyest is missing. Where did she go? Lily gazes out over the water and sees Keyest floating far out, grinning at her: the Seel managed to Dive under the wave and avoid it. (-7% EN Lily, -5% EN Keyest)
Lily scowls and begins to make her way back into the ocean so she can attack. However, the ice isn't helping: much like a real floaty, it makes swimming difficult, and Lily is reduced to dog-paddling slowly. The rain constantly coming down is keeping the temperature cool, insuring that the ice will remain for a while... Meanwhile, Keyest just relaxes, floating in the water. (-1% EN Lily, +5% EN Keyest)
Lily continues swimming, but still fails to get in close enough range to perform her attack; however, she is a lot closer to Keyest now. Keyest takes no notice and continues to relax. (-1% EN Lily, +5% EN Keyest)

Finally I managed to do something right! Now we just need to press our advantage a bit.

Keyest, with that Floatie on, conjure up a Whirlpool to keep our friend busy for a while.

Next, we take the oppertunity to protect ourselves while we can with Safeguard.

After that, use Surf, and really send Lily out a ways, as far from the shore as possible.

This round starts off with both Pokemon offshore, circling each other lazily as they await their commands. The trainers are teleported by the referee's Mr. Mime out to a conveniently-located buoy so that they can actually give their orders, and they do so. Without a moment's hesitation, both Pokemon start. Lily begins by folding her arms in prayer and closing her eyes. This doesn't seem to have any immediate affect at the moment, or at least that's what Keyest thinks... Speaking of Keyest, she begins to swim as fast as she can in a circle around the stationary Lily. The speed of Keyest's motion begins to create a spinning current around the Ludicolo, who finally opens her eyes. Due to the ice trapping her, Lily cannot swim out of the Whirlpool as she would like, and so the water cyclone sucks her under momentarily. She emerges a few moments later, gasping for breath, but otherwise mostly unharmed (although dizzy). She grins as the sunlight breaks through the storm clouds, sending hot rays on all creatures below. (-2% HP Lily, -5% EN Keyest, -6% EN Lily)
Keyest smiles at her small victory and takes Lily's disorientation to her advantage: the Seel cloaks herself in a glimmering white shield that almost immediately disappears. However, the effect is still there: for a limited time, Keyest is protected from any kind of status effect. (-4% EN Keyest) Lily, meanwhile, tries to get her focus together. She tries to locate her foe, but instead finds two of her: the dizziness is distorting her vision. Nonetheless, Lily collects the power of the sun's rays in her body, and quickly fires a madnificent golden beam across the water. The ray leaves a wide wake in its path and clips Keyest, still dealing good damage. Also, as a side effect, the combination of the heat from the solar attack as well as the sun's rays have completely melted Lily's ice prison. (-13% HP Keyest, -8% EN Lily)
Keyest scowls and paddles her way back to Lily. Without taking even a moment's break, Keyest goes on the offensive: she claps her fins together and summons a huge wave. Keyest gestures at Lily and the wave begins to move. However, Lily, no longer iced up, can much more effectively brace herself against the wave, leaving her relatively unscathed. (-5% HP Lily, -7% EN Keyest) The shock of the sudden cold water, however, has an added bonus of focusing Lily, and she can aim much more effectively. Lily spins once in the water and releases a flurry of leaves that fly across the water and cut Keyest. (-7% HP Keyest, -4% EN Lily)

Then, that Sunlight has got to go, so replace it with Hail, you're more suited to deap sea diving, so you should be able to swim deeper and not take as much of a blow from it.

Then conjure up the nastiest Blizzard you can muster. Lily will be resting, so it won't even dodge

We'll try to find a time to rest next round, because after this, I know you'll be exausted.

Both Pokemon are beginning to look rather tired. As well they should, in fact, because up until now, they've been fighting furiously. Neither Pokemon shows signs of relenting, though, as this round begins. Lily certainly gets things off to a quick start by releasing a storm of sharp-edged leaves from the brim of her sombrero head thing. They fly across the water, some skimming the surface, straight at Keyest... only to be deflected by the protective barrier that Keyest put up at the last minute. The shield fades and the leaves fall into the ocean, never to be heard from again... (-4% EN Lily, -7% EN Keyest)
Lily scowls, but doesn't linger too much on the attack's failure; instead, she kicks back in the water and reclines, as if sitting on a lounge chair. She sighs contendedly as the sun's rays warm her. (+5% EN Lily) However, her sunbathing doesn't last long. Keyest jumps up and claps her flippers together several times, drawing an almost immediate reaction from the sky. The sun disappears, only to be replaced by several dark and ominous clouds. Thunder rolls somewhere in the distance, and suddenly, the clouds open up, releasing several small pieces of ice. (-6% EN Keyest)
Lily doesn't particularly like the hail, but pays it no heed: she just continues to max and relax. (+5% EN Lily) However, Keyest once more has other plans. She backpaddles a few feet and growls. A chilled wind begins to pick up, slowly at first, but with gradually higher intensity. Suddenly, the wind whips into a wild maelstrom, carrying ice, snow, and other miscellaneous frozen objects. The Blizzard barrels past Lily, severely chilling her and breaking her relaxation. (-12% HP Lily, -10% EN Keyest)
As the round ends, both battlers get struck by particularly sharp bits of hail. (-2% HP Lily, Keyest)

Keyest, Lord Knows you're tired, but I have an idea that might give you a break.

First, Dive underwater, that should make it easier to avoid those hailstones, and besides, Lily is probably going to use another Sunnyday anyway.

Next, put the rest of your energy into an Ice Beam, and create a colomn of ice, freezing Lily to the floor.

After that, you deserve a good rest, so take a break the rest of the round with Lily frozen helpless.

Lily, let's surprise him. Since it's harder to change Hail to Sun, I want you to use Rain Dance.

Then, when he comes up to use Ice Beam, I want YOU to use Dive!

That's right, JK... Ludicolo can use it just as easily as a Seel.

Then, since you're in the water already, use Surf to wash that sea mammal away.

~Round 7... go!

The round begins with a loud 'splash!', as Keyest dives deep under the water, intent on hiding from both the piercing Hail and her powerful foe. (-3% EN Keyest) However, Lily pays the incredible diving Seel no heed: instead, she crosses her legs and sits in a lotus position, maintaining her balance even while in the water. She prays silently, unbeknownst to the underwater Keyest, but not much seems to change... Indeed, the alterations are much more subtle. The air becomes a mere few degrees warmer, and the painful Hail turns into a calm, soothing rain. (-5% EN Lily)
Lily springs forth from her sitting position and dives straight down into the water. She gives a fair shock to Keyest, who didn't really expect to see her foe just yet. (-3% EN Lily) However, despite her surprise, Keyest continues on with her commands. She swims a foot or so back before blasting out a ray of freezing cold energy, creating particles of ice as it passes through the water. (-8% EN Keyest) It collides with Lily, but before Keyest can continue on by freezing Lily to the ground (a difficult task in itself: the water's rather deep), the ice that forms around Lily's torso begins to float her up, slowly at first, then quickly. Lily bobs indignantly on the surface of the water. (-9% HP Lily)
Keyest also floats back to the surface of the water and reclines on her back. She starts to max and relax, trying desparately to regain the energy that she has lost over the course of the battle. (+5% EN Keyest) However, Lily has different plans - despite the ice once again constricting her, she summons a massive wave that washes across the ocean. (-7% EN Lily) The wave crashes into Keyest and, while not dealing much damage, pushes her significantly away from Lily, almost to shore. (-5% HP Keyest)

Okay Lily, change the weather again. This time, use Sunny Day. That should melt the ice.

Then, use Solar Beam. If she dives underwater again, change tactics and just rest.

For your third move, I want you to plow into her with Surf again, unless you didn't use Solar Beam last round. If you didn't, use it this round when she comes up. If she doesn't come up at all, stick to the first plan. Use Surf.

Keyest, as soon as Lily uses that Sunny Day, I want you to use an Encore attack. That should disable Lily's moves for a little while.

Next, we relax for a round to get your streagth back, then we hit hard with as nasty of a Surf wave as you can muster.

Hopefully, with you on shore, Lily will use energy getting back to the beach, so your goal is to get your opponent as far away from the shore as possible
