Sorry I'm a bit late. Exam matters.

    The_Missing_Link VS Spike

    Round One

    Arena: Grassy Field

    Prebattle

Let us escape from the busy and bustling city and go to the grassy field located far from the reach of the city, to watch these two trainer; The_Missing_Link, an influential name in TPM ASB, and Spike, an old ASBer who came back after a 2 year hiatus, in a two on two battle!

TML send out her male first Pokemon, a male Vibrava named Matthias.

“Vib!” the Vibrava buzzed, its wing vibrating in anticipation.

Spike thought about his choice of Pokemon. Finally decided, he sends out his female Bulbasaur, Roses.

“Bulbasaur!” growled the frog-like plant Pokemon at her adversary.

With the sign and the words “begin!” from the ref, the battle commenced.

    Stats:

    The_Missing_Link Team

    Matthias (M)
    HP: 100%
    Energy: 100%
    Status: Pumped up to go!
Attack Command: Focus Energy ~ Quick Attack ~ Toxic

    Spike Team

    Roses (F)
    HP: 100%
    Energy: 100%
    Status: Ready to go!
Attack Command: Charm ~ Toxic ~ Growth

    Background music: UVERworld-D-tecnoLife

    Round One~ Begin!

Roses started off by using Charm in an attempt to captivate Matthias into not attacking her. Matthias, however, ignored her, as his eyes were closed, deeply focused.

Roses decided that some toxic glob might just do the trick to annoy Matthias. However, Matthias used Quick Attack to dodge the toxic glob, and struck Roses. (3% damage)

Feeling disappointed that both her previous attack failed, Roses raised her head up, facing the bright sun. Her back bulb glowed slightly, as she collects solar energy and synthesised them into energy for her cell growth.

Matthias simply reacted by firing a toxic glob towards Roses. She blinked, as the toxic glob spread harmlessly across her body. It was then that everyone realised- Roses is half Poison type, meaning that she can’t be poisoned.

    End of Round One

    Stats:

    The_Missing_Link Team

    Matthias (M)
    HP: 100%
    Energy: 86%
    Status: Focused

    Spike Team

    Roses (F)
    HP: 97%
    Energy: 86%
    Status: Attack rose
    Attack +1

    The_Missing_Link attack first
    Spike attack second

    Arena Status:
    Remains the same.

    Other remarks:
It’s moving on pretty well for starting.

Thanks for the great reffing. I have a question though, Bulbasaur is a Grass and Poison type pokémon. Can Posion pokémon be poisoned?

And another question, how did you know I left and returned? =p I'm kinda curious.

Lol. I've just checked my old posts. God that brings some memories back. I can't believe it was 2 years ago. Anyway, Roses, you are doing great. Start with Safeguard. Then, I want you to attack with Magical Leaf and hopefully destroy all the clones. Finish up with Giga Drain. Now, wait for me, I'll brb.

    Roses: what?!

    The_Missing_Link VS Spike

    Round Two

    Arena: Grassy Field

Attack Command: Safeguard ~ Magical Leaf ~ Giga Drain

    Background music: D-tecnoLife: UVERworld

    Round Two~ Begin!

Before both Pokemon attack, the ref received some fact that Roses was not poisoned by the Toxic attack from Matthias. After fixing the battle data, the battle resumed.

Both Pokemon opted for defensive measure; Matthias with a Double Team and Roses with a Safeguard. Matthias then launched a Dragonbreath attack towards Roses (8% damage), and Roses gave a Magical Leaf attack to Matthias, damaging him and dissipating his clones as well (6% damage).

To end it off, Matthias gave Roses a Secret Power attack. But due to the Safeguard, the status-laced beam effect does not work to Roses. (8% damage) Roses got close to Matthias and used Giga Drain to drain some of his health, while at the same time recovered her own health. (6% damage, 3% HP recovery)

    End of Round Two

    Stats:

    The_Missing_Link Team

    Matthias (M)
    HP: 88%

    Background music: D-tecnoLife: UVERworld

    Round Three~ Begin!

Feeling a bit lucky, Roses complied with her trainer’s order of using a Sweet Scent. But before the wave of tranquillity could even touch Matthias, it was blown back towards Roses by a Gust from Matthias (7% damage). And it appears that Roses is quite relaxed, which is caused by her own Sweet Scent backfiring on her.

Roses then took in sunlight and used it for the growth of her cells. Matthias wings glowed with a steel hue before he brings it down towards Rose, dealing some light damage (5% damage).

Spike began to praise Roses, being the prettiest and the loveliest Bulbasaur that he had ever seen in his life. Roses was flattered, and didn’t hesitate to try and captivate Matthias with Charm. However, Matthias simply closed his eyes and gave her a Swift attack (4% damage).

    The_Missing_Link VS Spike

    Round Four

    Arena: Grassy Field

    Stats:

    The_Missing_Link Team

    HP: 88%
    Energy: 58%
    Status: Remained steady as ever

    Status: Attack rose
    Attack +2
Safeguard remains for next 3 round
Attack Command: Leech Seed ~ Sunny Day ~ Solarbeam

    Background music: D-tecnoLife: UVERworld

    Round Four~ Begin!

Looking good as ever, Matthias took a deep breath, unleashing a Dragonbreath attack towards Roses (8% damage). However, unknown to him, Roses manage to launch a Leech Seed attack towards him. And now, the seed are slowly draining his energy away…

Roses titled her head up, facing the sun, which was partially blocked by some cloud. Muttering some chanting under her breath, the clouds began to move away from the sky, causing the sunlight to intensify. Matthias paid no attention, and using a lot of his energy, he used a Sand Tomb attack right below Roses. Piles of sands began to spin around her, until she sunk below the ground, fully trapped in the sand tornado (3% damage).

Gasping at the energy that was spent in the attack, Matthias flew up and relaxed himself to regain some of his lost energy.

Hot, it’s very hot… he thought, sweating a bit.

Using the weather as an advantage, Roses fired a Solarbeam towards the floating Matthias. The beam connected, and Matthias shrieked at the force of the solar energy (14% damage, additional damage due to Growth). The Leech Seed that stuck on her returned back towards Roses, which meant that the Bulbasaur had manage to sap some of his energy.

The round ends, as Matthias still hovered above the ground, and Roses trapped in the sandpit.

    End of Round Four

    Stats:

    The_Missing_Link Team

    Matthias (M)
    HP: 74%
    Energy: 51%
Status: Struck by Solarbeam, energy slightly sapped

    Spike Team

    Roses (F)
    HP: 65%
    Energy: 48%
    Status: Trapped in sandpit!
    Attack +2
Safeguard remains for next 2 round
Sand tornado remain for next 3 turn

    Spike attack first
    The_Missing_Link second

    Arena Status:
A sandpit was created, and standing in the middle of the sandpit was Roses. Sunny Day remain for next 4 round.

Ref Note: Okay, that’s my interpretation on Sand Tomb; opponent trapped in a sandpit, and a tornado of sands spin around them. If you find the description is wrong, feel free to point it out.

Now that the vines are fully recalled back towards Roses, she went for a Magical Leaf attack. The swift-like grass attack connected with Matthias (8% damage). Grunting from the aftermath of the attack, Matthias once again gave Roses another Dragonbreath attack (8% damage).

    Stats:

Attack Command: Magical Leaf ~ Relax ~ Sleep Powder

    Background music: D-tecnoLife: UVERworld

    Round Six~ Begin!

Finally, the sand tornado of Sand Tomb was ended. A slight confident on his face, Matthias took a deep breath in, producing 5 exact copies of him. Roses looked up towards the Matthias, before her side glowed with a familiar glow, the one when she had used Magical Leaf. Yes, it is the attack; all of the Matthias, clones and real one alike, was struck with the swift-like grass energy, leaving a single Matthias hovering above the ground (8% damage).

Both Pokemon then sat down (for Matthias, hovered), relaxing to regain lost energy. Then, Matthias wing glowed a silvery hue, and next, he was swooping fast towards Roses. Alas, the Bulbasaur had prepared, and just before the attack connected, a fine silvery dust was blown right towards Matthias… and he slowly began to feel drowsy…

But the momentum of the Steel Wing kept her flying towards Roses, sending her flying out from the sandpit (5% damage). Roses gave a slight huff, as she looked down at Matthias in the hole, who started to stumble around like he was drunk. With a wink, Roses huffed, and Matthias was knocked down, asleep.

    End of Round Six

    Status: Cheerful, out of sandpit

    Background music: D-tecnoLife: UVERworld

    Round Seven~ Begin!

Feeling good all of the sudden, Roses complied with her trainer’s order and moved to offensive. She started by hacking glob of poison down the sandpit, steadily filling the sandpit with the toxic glob, making situation very sticky for Matthias. Now, not only was he asleep, but also badly poisoned. Then, Matthias stirred in his sleep, and soon, he sprang up towards Roses, knocking her back in what seemed to be a Double Edge attack (9% damage to Roses, 3% recoil damage to Matthias). After performing the attack, Matthias fell back into the sandpit; back to sleep.

Roses gave a small grunt at the Sleep Talk attack that Matthias had just performed. Moving closer to the sleeping Matthias, she held out her vines, draining some energy out of him (6% damage on Matthias, 3% HP heal for Roses). Matthias stirred again in his sleep, and this time, it was a Screech attack. Roses quickly held her paws up to close her ears (which could be barely seen), but the effort was futile, and all that she could do was wait for the attack to finish.

Roses has wasn’t going to waste the sun. Drawing energy from the sun, added with some energy from the Growth that she performed earlier, she prepared for a Solarbeam attack- but she was suddenly interrupted by a blur in front of her. Matthias, with his eyes still closed, had now closed in towards Roses and used another Sleep Talk; this time, landing a Giga Drain attack (4% damage to Roses, 2% HP heal for Matthias). With an angered cry, she fired the Solarbeam attack towards Matthias effortlessly. The attack hit the target, causing a small explosion upon contact (14% damage).

The round ends, with Matthias slowly waking up.

First of all, Matthias is a guy, not a girl. And Giga Drain steals health that's not directly from the bloodstream. Even if Roses wasn't part poison, she still wouldn't have been poisoned since she's not stealing blood, and that's where the toxic is in. Also, even though Matthias is asleep, he should be losing some energy because he's still performing attacks. It seems like you're not proofreading this so I suggest you do so next time

    You mean sand hole, right?

Ok Roses, this is what I want you to do. Shoot a Solar Beam to Matthias when he starts flying to hopefully make the hole deeper and send him farther down. The toxic he is covered by should make him hard to move properly. Hope he stays there too. Anyway, then, attack with Leech Seed to drain some of his energy. Finally, I want you to finish the round relaxing and focusing to gain some energy back too. Oh, and stay away from that hole.

    Round Eight

    Status: Low energy…
    Attack +2
Attack Command: Solarbeam ~ Leech Seed ~ Relax

    Background music: D-tecnoLife: UVERworld

    Round Eight~ Begin!

The groggy Matthias quickly flapped his wing and tried to escape the sandpit, just as a Solarbeam was fired down to the hole. However, the combination of the stickiness of the toxic glob and the fast charging up of the Solarbeam attack didn’t let him to escape in time, resulting in being struck by the attack (10% damage). The attack damage was lowered as she was down on her last energy…

Since it will be a tiring job to fly out of the sandpit, Matthias fired a gust of wind upward, towards the tired Roses (6% damage). In a last minute attempt, she fired a seed down on Matthias, which soon sprouted into vines that wrapped around him, draining his health off.

Roses could barely bring herself away from the sandpit, as Matthias begin to create a sandstorm around the sandpit. Roses fell on the ground, trying her best to regain lost energy. Finally, the sprout returned back towards Roses, draining off Matthias HP. But it was useless for Roses, as she lay outside of the sandpit, unconscious due to her lack of energy…

As you can see, Roses is out of energy by using Solarbeam, while Matthias's energy is drained off by the Leech Seed. Therefore, both of the Pokemon are out of energy, hence both of them are then knocked out.

I hope I done it right. Feel free to point at the result of the ref, if you think I've done it wrongly...

Leech Seed doesn't drain energy, it drains health (as seen in the anime). Sandstorm is also a one action deal as well but if you don't watch the anime, you wouldn't know so that's ok. And Matthias is still a boy

    *recalls Matthias* Good job, buddy

Right, I didn't watch the anime too often, so I didn't know that Sandstorm is a one action attack.

And no worries, TML. I'll ensure that there will be no more mistake on the gender. If not... erm... just shoot me... yeah...

Shade, use sludge bomb and then use vine whip at his feet to trip him up as his spins (or if he doesn't spin, just use it to slap him around). Then use razor wind to counter the blow

    Round Nine~ Begin!

Both trainer recalled their fallen Pokemon, and chose their next Pokemon just as quick as withdrawing them. Two new Pokemon- Shade, a male Ivysaur, and Finus, a male Scyther- stood in the middle of the arena, ready to go.

Finus started by setting a barrier of pure white energy around him, attempting to foil any status affecting move thrown towards him. Shade looked at the barrier briefly, before he fired a Sludge Bomb, which, although it’s poisonous property absorbed by the barrier, manage to reach and damage Finus (11% damage).

A bit bothered by the attack, Finus moved to increasing his attack. He brought his scythes up, spinning around in a tornado-like manner. As he was deep in his trance, he failed to see two vines extended towards his feet. The vines then slapped on his feet, immediately snapping him from the trance. He then fell face-first on the ground (5% damage).

Now feeling rather irritated, Finus moved for offence. He began charging a gust of bug energy, but in doing so he failed to see two small tornados that started to form around Shade. He knew that soon enough when he fired the Silver Wind attack, in which Shade countered with her Razor Wind attack. The cutting blade of wind cut through the silvery wind just when it was about to touch Shade, slashing upon Finus like a sharp knife (9% damage).

Finus growled, as almost all of his strategies were foiled by Shade. Shade scored the first kill in this round.

    Round Ten~ Begin!

Shade took a moment to close his eyes and gather his energy. He then exhaled, producing 5 copy of himself. Finus looked at the Shades, whom all similarly gave him a glance. He then whipped up a gust of bug energy around his wings, and without any hesitation, directed it towards the row of Shades. All of the clones were then dispelled, leaving a single remaining Shade (8% damage).

Shade then whipped up a gust of wind around him, with Finus, also performing the same attack. Both combatants then fired the razor-sharp wind, which collided halfway before reaching any of them. It wasn’t long before Finus’s Razor Wind, its damage increased due to the action of Sword Dance earlier, cut through Shade’s. Shade winced, as the sharp wind cut through his smooth skin (9% damage).

Shade raised his paws and bared the claws, ready to cut Finus. The Scyther catched Shade’s paw at the last moment, and with a flick of his arm, send Shade crashing to the ground. Shade growled, his face stuck on the ground, while Finus stood tall beside him (9% damage to Shade, 3% damage to Finus).
