As said in the other thread I posted: I'll try my hardest to fix up some stuff so here's the last reffing of DarkestLight vs Elec Man Exe.

With the gangwar continuing, I go to sit down on a nearby bench. Getting dragged into fights is not fun. Does it qualify as kidnapping? Could I send the cops after them? Who would I need to charge? Both of them or just one party? Or should it be the battlers? Speaking of which, why did they come here this early? Was this al planned? Am I in some kind of world where my every move is being monitored? That tree, is that a hidden camera? Or maybe that dustbin or the bush over there. Did it just move?

And while I’m going crazy with these questions, the yellow culprits and the blue meanies already plotted their evil schemes. The speedy Elekid starts of by going in close.(What’s that squirrel doing?) The gap is closing faster then Change was expecting, he braces himself but Voltus seems to slip and tumbles down. The surprised Change drops his guard but the electrical pokémon springs up and delivers a hard kick in the stomach. (Those are just regular nuts right?)Change needs to take a few steps backwards while the blue meanies start to scream that it was a low act. Change looks up and retaliates. He in turn delivers a kick to the stomach but this one much more fierce as Voltus skids a few feet back.(Is someone trying to make an attack on me?)

Voltus closes the gap again and moves closes. Change takes a stance and waits patiently (Who would be after me I didn’t do anything wrong…). They stare each other down and suddenly Voltus shoots his head forward. Change, being faster then ever, manages to get a grip on Voltus’ head and holds it tight (… or did I?). A wicked grin comes across the fighters face as he knees Voltus straight in the head. Major ouch. (Now who would I have pissed off?)

Voltus strokes his arm across his face as a little blood drops down from his nose. He doesn’t have much time to respond when his opponent smacks him in the face again. The hoped effect of sending Voltus back didn’t work out exactly as the temperature drops a bit on the battlefield. (Maybe my neighbor doesn’t like it when I start playing music in the morning?) Icicle particles are formed around Voltus’ hand and he in turn uppercuts Change, sending him flying a couple of inches from the ground. Both pokémon have been battered pretty baldy as both a gasping for breath from the first punches.(But who would love Disturbed?)

Looking at the attacks, I'd say that DarkestLight attacks first. And now I got power over more shades of green

Change, don't stop now! Back up and use Swift, so he can back up. Mind Reader in order to focus-and then give that Voltus a good ol-fashioned Earthquake.

However, if he somehow stops you from using Mind Reader-go for a Mach Punch, and then relax.

Alrighty Voltus, nice job. Lets keep the pressure on. I want you to start off by quickly leaping forward and hitting him with Cross Chop... jump through the stars if needed, but you should be able to hit him fast enough. Then, wait until he starts to read your mind (so he can't sub in the punch), and let out a deafening Screech. Concentrating through that will be near impossible. Since you foiled his mind reading, he's probably just going to relax, so take the opportunity to hit him full-power with Thunder. If he looks like he's going to use Earthquake anyway, quickly form a horizontal Barrier in midair and jump onto it to avoid the quake.

Round 3

Last time in ‘Gangwars Today’ we had an intense battle between two groups called the blue meanies and the yellow culprits. Today we had an interview with the battlers. Here are some of the responses.
DarkestLight: “Eh Hombre, you wanna be cut open? I know a good liver dealer.”
Elec Man Exe: “You want some of the good stuff? Meet me around the corner in 8 minutes”
Silencer AKA referee: “Camera’s! I knew it!” *WHACK*
As you can see, it has been a crazy struggle so far and we’ll continue the madness.

The speedy Voltus has an upperhand in this quarrel as his speedy movements make it difficult for his foe. He jumps forward and delivers a strong (well not punch, darn that word… need help here, It’s like a slap but you go in with your pinky first) right between Change’s shoulder and head. Change jumps backwards and makes a motion with his arms. Stars appear and strike Voltus all over his body.

Change awaits his opponents move but since Voltus is just staring him down he decides to make his move. He clashes his hands together and focuses. His spiritual power growing more intensely as he overpowers the one of his foe. Change starts to wander around in his mind, but this doesn’t go by unnoticed as the plug pokémon releases a high pitched tone. Change loses his concentration and his spirit flows back in his mind. Although he couldn’t stay in his foes ideas long enough he knows what he’s up to next round.

Confident in stopping his opponent the energetic pokémon makes his move, he gathers up more and more energy. He releases his mighty attack and fires it up in the sky. Mentally he makes it come back down crashing on Change. Or better, where Change was. Change stands behind the elekid confidently as he knew just what he was planning to do. A frightened Voltus turns around, just to be knocked over by a strong quake over the place. Trees come crashing down and cracks appear in nearby earth patches. A small beep can be heard in the distance as a ‘9’ has been pressed down.

Hmm... well that didn't work. No matter Voltus. I want you to start off with a Leer, get your opponent nervous. Then rush forward and catch him with a Thunderpunch. Follow that up by crushing him with your Psychic power. Foil any attempts at Double Team by launching a Swift.

First off, get behind a tree, dodge that Leer. Then jump and throw a good Mud-Slap at that Elekid's hands when he tries to punch you. Then, Double Team. The lesser of two evil's will be better to compensate for.

If you get hit with that Leer anyway, I want you to Seismic Toss him when he gets close, and then Protect yourself.

Round 4

As a somewhat bored ref is lying down on a bench, completely over his fear of being stalked. If needed he’ll just whack everyone with his pokémon. Perhaps he’ll qualify for the best gang in this town, the black rhinos. Just posting this gives the referee an evil glare of the two battlers and their posse.

This fight is going good and speedy and it looks to be exiting. For both the battlers and the spectators. Change is a bit frightened and starts to look around nervously. He needs to hide. His trainer said a tree but the nearby bush will suffice. He jumps and completely ignores the leering Voltus with this action. Chicken noises start to spread among the yellow culprits and the ref stands up. It’s about time for lunch and there’s a KFC around the corner.

Having his plan work, Change steps out from the bush and prepares to continue the fight. The moment he stepped out of it however he gets smacked by a fist, cackling with electrical energy. The fighting pokémon is send flying and it does indeed look painful. Still, being as tough as he is, he stands back up. He is on a patch of sand and thanks to the morning dew it’s a bit muddy so he slaps it toward Voltus, who is hit in the face.

The temporarily blinded Voltus is a bit dazed and his fighting opponent takes his opportunity. He focuses his energy and out pop 3 more tyrogues, each identical to the other. Although Voltus didn’t see this, he did notice it. With a motion of his arms, a series of stars fly towards all 4 of the human shaped pokémon and all of them get blasted. One stumbles backwards as the other 3 just disappear. The electrical pokémon seems satisfied, he only wishes he could see more clearly.

Change, start out with a Bulk Up-Ignore that Plug right now. Finish that, and send a Swift in his direction, following up with a Mud-slap to slow him down.
However, any physical attack that you can see coming at you-Counter it.

Well Voltus, it looks like he's expecting another physical assault. Lets not play into his hand. Let him buff up, and in the meantime Relax and conserve your energy. See if you can't clear your eyes out, while your at it. With your eyes clear (hopefully), hit him hard with a Thunderbolt. Finally, erect a Barrier to block the incoming debris.

Round 5

Coming back with a bucket of extra crispy chicken (IT’S ALL MINE), the kidnapped AKA the ref sits down on the bench. Apparently a lot of fighting happened last round since both pokémon seem tired and dirty.

Voltus, blinded by a previous mud slap (cheap it still echo’s through the blue posse) takes his time to regain some of his energy and start to wipe of the dirt in his eyes. Mean while Change just stands his ground firmly as his muscles start to bulge. Nothing else interesting happens besides the fact that someone has given the pigeons some laxative. I’d look out in the sky from now on.

As the bird bombers continue in their innocent way of dropping (if any fall on my, my Aerodactyl will have a nice lunch as well), the fight rages on. Voltus, ready to strike now that his vision has been restored, gathers up electricity between his antennas. It shoots forward and hits the unlucky Change dead on. Change responds by making a motion with his arms and stars shoot out and hit the electrical pokémon.

Change runs to the patch of dirty again, hoping to repeat his dirty trick again. Sadly, Voltus is prepared and sets up a barrier between him and Change. The mud just sticks to it, revealing the hidden wall, but it has served his purpose. Change crouches down, this fight seems almost over for him.

Laxativing the pigeons? Hah, classic.

Alright Voltus. You've done stellar so far, but lets not get too comfortable. First off, keep behind that barrier and Relax again. That will at least force him to approach, or repostion himself to hit you. Then get up close and hit him with a burning Fire Punch, followed by a swift and powerful Mega Kick.

Pretty good Change. But we can catch him off guard now. Relax yourself here and, when he comes at you with that Fire Punch, aim a Mud Slap right for that hand of his. Finish him off with a Counter to that Kick, and you'll be fine.

Round 6

Nothing much happens since both pokémon just sit behind the clearly visible barrier and take a breather. The most interesting that happens is that one of the pigeons, well just image something about laxatated pigeons and innocent people and you’ll get the idea

Now round 6 actually starts and Voltus runs around his barrier and approaches Change with burning knuckles. He gets closer and closer and suddenly Change repeats his dirty trick once again and slaps mud all over the flaring fist and extinguishes it. With a sizzle, this turn once again ends without that much action.

Now that Voltus has actually approached close enough, he can move in with a glowing white kick of fantastic fury (I named that all by myself). Voltus hits Change with the glowing white kick of fantastic fury right under the ribs. A painful expression crosses the fighting pokémons face but he manages to grab hold of Voltus’ leg. Assimilating all of his strength, Change delivers one heck of a chop across Voltus’ face as the electrical pokémon is send flying. To bad he forgot his wings. Maybe he can ask the pigeons. Both ppokémon end this turn by crouching down to catch their breaths.

Good fight buddy. Let's take it down a notch. We know he's going to do something to cause you to get near him, so get near him with a Mind Reader-Brick Break combo n_n! If however, you guess his next move to be defensive, use Mach Punch to break that up.

Then go for an Earthquake. No matter what. Azul locos foreva!

Alright Voltus, he just played right into our hand. He's willingly opening a link between your mind and his, and thats a perfect opportunity to use Psychic. Let him establish the link, then use it to assault his mind directly. If that doesn't manage to down him, a quick Karate Chop should. If he's especially tough and still isn't down, let him have a Thundershock.

And now, the end is near, and we will face, the final countdown. Two battered and very tired pokémon eye each other. Most likely, this will be the last round for one of them.

Change makes his move by setting his hands to his temples. He closes his eyes and his spirit force makes a connection to Voltus. Having his way clear now, the electric pokémon uses his own psychic abilities and scrambles around in Change’s mind, leaving him dazed and needing to break the connection. He can’t foresee what his opponent will do now, plus he has one mean headache.

Moving in close, Voltus deals a powerful (as powerful as you can expect from a totally exhausted pokémon) chop across Changes body. The even more tired Change doesn’t want to look like a wussy so he strickes back with a blow that can shatter stones. Voltus is send flying but when the plug pokémon stands up, he sees Change knocked out, his body couldn’t match his will power to win.



Saddened blue meanies silently go home as cheers erupt from the yellow culprits’ side. Until… BOMBS AWAY! as the pigeons just had a big gathering and flew over the gang.

Nice fight DL. And much thanks for the prompt (and amusing) reffing Silencer. Also a question... Do you have some system where damage goes down substancially when the pokemon is tired? I noticed that Change collapsed from energy use, but a Psychic and Karate Chop from me only did 5 damage, so I figure maybe thats why.
