It wasn't banned before? Well, it's about time. I don't play the game, but I'm well aware of Cyber-Stein's utter absurdity. That thing's ridiculous.
Sources:Dear Judges,
Effective immediately, “Cyber-Stein” is Forbidden for Advanced Format tournaments, and Limited for Traditional Format tournaments.
This change will be reflected on the web page later today.
We hope your players enjoy this holiday present from UDE & Konami.

P.S.- Please send your Holiday wishes to "Cyber Twin Dragon", it's going to be a little lonely this season.

I find this hilarious. Almost everyone is now having some form of Cyber-Stein in their decks, even when its not the main focal point of the deck. Whatever, at least the Stein abuse is going to be gone now
It was a tech card for a cheap win in a lot of decks.
To be totally honest I really don't see it doing much to the game. I can go down the whole list of the the last 2 SJC Top 8 Deck lists and quite easily edit Stein out for something more productive. But that's just me.
Pojo is taking it hard. It's quite amusing how people whine.

Give or take a few words. The main reason I don't go there is because I can't stand the staff members or Kevin Tewart XD
It's interesting to see how Upperdeck can add cards to the ban lists whenever the feel fit though. Hmm...

Meh on Cyber though. Did never like him and I'd say good riddence.
Now if the Monarchs and Cyber Dragon get banned/limited you might even see people think up new decks.
I'd love to see a future where any deck-type can win and where it is very unlikely to run into 2 off the same decks.
If Cyber Dragon and the Monarch's where taken down to 1, thne the most commonly used deck would probably be Aggro/Dark World/Macro.

I'm such a fan off the underused that it isn't funny anymore. Monsters and S/T that never saw the spotlight but have so much potential. I wish that some more people payed attention to these. Gren Maju Da Eiza (my fav monster), Bad Reaction to Seimochi(introduces to it a while ago), a deck with the underused or non-existant such as plants. I just wish I could make a deck out off these kinds off things that would just be a perfect counter-cookie-cutter-deck.
It is sad that originality goes unrewarded and that uninspired brats with a lot off money can just always win. That's how I feel anyway.
Edit: not ment as a rant

Well, sorry if I came out a bit harshly in my last post Roar. I'm not really an anti-Pojo person, but some of the stuff they do irks me.
Like Silencer, I go to their site almost every day to view the new Card of the Day, and I get so annoyed when they rate a card based on its use in the standard CC deck of the current meta. If it its useful, it gets a high rating. If its not, it gets a low rating.
Also, I used to visit their forums as well and post decks to get rated and got responses like so:
And I did truly find it funny how people at Pojo forums were whining how Stein was banned and that now their decks were no good anymore and what not. I mean, the game's all about adjusting to changes in the meta and becoming a better player based of your ability to adjust.
