    Default Digimon: A Legendary Tale :: Starts! (2 LSU's)

If you have a reserve, please get it in by Tuesday at the latest.

    Digimon: A Legendary Tale.

In a world much different then ours, exist beings known as Digital Monsters; or Digimon for short. In that world, 3 beings of immense power exist, Cherubimon, Seraphimon and Orphanimon. Their existence brings peace to the land, light to the darkness. However, as of late, the darkness has slowly risen. In a digital being known as Lucemon.

He once brought peace to the world in a time where human and beast types fought, however, Lucemon soon got too submerged in his power; demanding more. He soon started to kill some of the most powerful Mega's in order to gather power, and this was deemed unjust by the 3 guardians; who sent out the 10 Legendary Warriors out to fight. The battle was immense, and it took the near dead Legendary Warriors all their power to get him to revert into his Digitama(1). Since they were near death, they sealed, using an ancient coding, away the egg into the core of the Digital World in hopes it'd never awaken. However, in case it would, they entrusted their raw data to the 3 Guardians, in the form of spirits for compatible beings of the future to use in case Lucemon were ever to awaken.

    That time is now.

His corruption has been seeping the cracks of the world, closest being Cherubimon. Tempting him with power, Lucemon turns the once pure Cherubimon into an agent to gather data from pieces of land in order to gather enough to break Lucemon free, and with that, started to move the pieces in place. But with darkness, is light.

Orphanimon and Seraphimon, noticing their companions demise to darkness, discussed the dire matter and saw no other way to solve the problem other than the way it was treated over 300 digital-years ago. However, the spirits were hidden a long time ago; to prevent anyone from gathering them who was not compatible(2). And by studying the digimon in existence, none were compatible with the spirits anyway.

They had to turn to another life form, Humans.

Orphanimon, interested in the human world, sent out data through the digital seams that connected the 2 worlds, sending a message that'd reach any human of age compatible. The message itself would be "Do you wish to change your life for the greater good?" 『Yes』 or 『No』. Pressing yes was the first test of compatibility.

    -----------

It's spring break(3), and the world seemed to be resting on your fingertips. It's a normal, sunny day, but unlike most days, you receive a mysterious text message from 'unknown'. The first message says:

"Do you wish to change your life for the greater good?" 『Yes』 or 『No』.

Although you have plans later on that day, or don't seem to interested, you're too compelled to press for yes. Almost like a person possessed, you press yes. Taking a second to load, you receive the next message.

"Go to the nearest train station and take the elevator all the way down. You have 20 minutes."

A bit skeptical of the message, you decide to see what the message is; or if it's just a hoax. Taking any transportation that you can, you barely reach the station in time. Taking the elevator down, you see that the numbers on the screen start to blink wildly, as you're obviously going lower than you should be..

As you land at a underground station, where there are 5 different colored cars lined up, and it seems that there are many different people looking inside the trains..
    ---------

With the message across, Orphanimon has now laid the hope in the hands of humans. The message she sent was specifically coded to only, truly, interest 10 people that would be compatible and take the Trailmon(4) to the Digital World. These 10 humans would bring salvation for digimon...

and for their own kind as well.

The 10 legendary spirits are composed off 10 elements. The order you sign up will be the order we find the spirits. so it is first come, first serve.

D-Scanner: The Digivice of the RPG, they are created from your cellphones from when you cross the Digital World <--> Earth divide. They have many different built in features such as:
compass, walkie talkie, being able to scan the evil digimon's data when they're defeated for the land data. Also, since the Chosen Children are from around the world, the D-Scanner observes, and after a few hours of observing, can take the sound data from one persons mouth thats one language, and translate it into another. However, this takes a few hours of observation for the D-Scanner. It also holds the spirit and allows Spirit Evolution.

    Picture of the D-Scanner: here

Culture: Allowing you to pick where your character originates from, there will be a language barrier until the D-Scanner picks up your language and the others.
To make note of different languages until then, you can simply say your character doesn't understand, etc. If they understand some English, thats probably for the better.

Human "Digi"Power: A gift given by Seraphimon when you enter the digital world, your body's data will be bombarded with data from digimon that will allow it to gain a specific power. This is only a self-defense mechanism, as it consumes human energy that'll need to be replenished by sleep or food.

Attacks: As you start to gain battle experience, and more digital code from fighting(you will be returning most of the code to the land, but some will be kept since that it the digimon itself), you will gain 2 extra attacks. The 5th and last one is your Trump Card, so to speak.

    Notes in plot.
1.Digitama is also a Digiegg, which is what a digimon turns into when they die; unless the death is through the heart of a digimon, or they have no energy to turn into an egg.
2.The spirits only react to their compatible partners. IE, You see your spirit's 'statuette', it'll start to glow.
    3. If you live in the southern hemisphere, then it is winter break.
4.Trailmon are digimon that look and operate like trains. The digital world are covered in trails, and almost every town has a station. They have cars attached to them to carry passengers. Digidex entry here

A good Digidex is located here~!.

    ---------------------

    Name: Matsumoto Akina / 松本明菜
    Age: 16
    Gender: Female
    Location: Sapporo, Hokkaido Prefecture, Japan.
Personality: Akina is one who likes the atmosphere of solitude, and the quietness that spurs from it. She hates people who annoy her; or for that fact, anyone really besides her grandfather; who she can barely stand either way. She's quite smart and athletic, but she tends to put off a snooty vibe due to her 'loner' personality. However, when Akina is given a task or responsibility, she has a strong sense of duty to complete it.
Appearance: Some call her a 'Yankee' due to her tomboyish looks and height. Matsumoto-kun, as they call her, stands at about 5'8", an ungodly height for a lot of her classmates. Her legs are a bit longer than her torso, and she's flat chested(Who isn't in Japan~), but she doesn't seem to mind any; since most would bother her in her kendo training either way. Her hair is the typical coal black, cut down to her shoulders with no bangs, and her eyes are a stone-cold grey. While in school, she'll wear the typical female school uniform, occasionally pissing the officials with wearing the male one she got from a neighbor who graduated the year prior(She does this one quite often). When she isn't in school, she wears white and black sneakers with dark blue jeans, and a slightly long yellow shirt(It's not baggy, just to her thighs). Since it's spring, she's wearing a navy blue light jacket that doesn't have a hood. Akina has a huge scar on her back from a nasty strike from her grandfather during a kendo practice.

The only change in the digital world is that she now has a single, very thin braid in her hair that is longer than her hair itself. The braid is about 1cm in width and goes down to her mid back.
    Spirit of: Light
Human "Digi"Power: Able to run in the blink of an eye.(more or less, the Flash!)
D-Scanner Color: Light yellow base(same color as this text), Navy blue handle.
History: Back when she was only 3, her mother and father divorced - separating her from her twin sister as her mother took her, and her father took her twin Akira. Akina's mother was never around for her either way, before or after the divorce, so it was really her grandfather on her mothers side who rose her. Her mother works an important position for a law firm, and is always doing cases or studying for a new one, so while Akina is well off financially; she never really had a solid family. Her grandfather treated her harshly from the moment she turned 5, as she started to learn kendo, along other school things. Suffering from many minor bruises from not being able to sufficiently block his hits until she was 10, she was always questioned for child abuse. Akina was never allowed to have friends during her practice; since her grandfather grew up strictly, so should his granddaughter; who he has no prejudice of gender due to his daughter not bearing any more children. This may be one reason why Akina is so cold to everyone around her now, but it also may be the trauma from never having a real mother.

When she was 14, during an intense kendo practice, her grandfather got her in the back and the shinai* broke(not in two,but some of the sticks in it broke) from the hit. The wood hit hard enough to bruise the muscles and bone, and leave a scar. Her grandfather calls it "A reason to strive to be better, and a example of failure". This is the only moment she cried, as she never wanted to be a failure in her grandfathers eyes; nor anyones.
Relationship: Open to none until later on. Can have other people crush if you want~.
Other: Akira has been trainned in kendo to use 2 shinai in ni-to style. This is her favorite, however, her grandfather prefers one shinai(but taught her ni-to from request). She also knows some english, but isn't comfortable with it.
Favorite Saying: "If you start something, finish it, or don't start at all."
    Favorite food: Soba noodles!
Nickname:Matsumoto-kun, Matsumoto-chan(by some females who don't know her.;x ). Will want to be known as Matsumoto until sometime later on, since she's more comfortable with that.
    Theme Song(s):
Life by YUI. Lyrics found here
Tomorrows Way (acoustic version) by YUI Lyrics found @here(Under header "Tomorrow's Way")

    Name:Hakanaimon
    Virus/Data/Vaccine: Data
    Type: Warrior
    Element:Light
Appearancetanding about 5'7", Hakanaimon looks a lot like Lenneth from Valkyrie Profile(Picture: here*), except there are some differences. First difference is that the head armor covers the eyes; Hakanaimon has no eyes, she "sees" with her other senses(and therefore, can get a distinct feel for the environment around her and her enemy, so if anything, she has an advantage). Her hair is silver like in the picture, but it's shorter, just past the shoulders, and it's not in a braid. Other than that, she has a pair of white, angelic wings growing out of her back that allow flight; these seem to be the only bestial part of her.
Her sword always glows with a deadly, yet beautiful light.
    Attacks:
1.Celestial Slash: Sword glows with a heavenly light as she disappears, only to reappear behind her opponent with a crescent wound on their body that glows. Considered her most basic attack.
2.Dual-Sword Style: Takes the sheath of the sword and devours it in light, turning it into a second blade. This makes full use of Akina's "ni-to" training.
3.Fleeting Whirlwind: Using her wings and Dual-Sword Style to maximize the strikes, she flys up into the air; and when high enough, she spins down, forming a tornado with a barrage of light-energy scythes formed from her 2 swords.
4.*Celestial Wrath: Using both swords, she rushes at the opponent and performs a barrage of strikes. After 20 strikes, she deals the final blow.
    5.**To be decided. I can't think of it.;3
Other: Akina dislikes the skirt. DISLIKES!>=O

-i want to jump on the Last Train of the day / my feelings can't wait 'til tomorrow.-Last Train by YUI

With my back against the bench, I sat in an upright position as I slowly ate the manju that was today's meal; grandfather had told me to only eat one thing today prior to today's lesson, and to get plenty of fresh air. Sitting on a bench in a park, check. Eating a green tea manju? Check. I would've opted for soba, but the vendors in the park didn't offer any.

I kept to myself as the cherry blossoms twirled around in the wind, my bites into the confection going slower and slower as a male from my kendo club approached me. I shot him a glare; it was obvious he was new to the club. But I didn't feel like wasting my time on small fry, either.

"Matsumoto-chan?"He asked as I bit again into my manju, finishing it.
"-kun."I corrected him. He seemed a bit weirded out, but then laughed at it.
"Thats what all the other boys call you, ne? Your swings in the club before break were great! When do you get to practice?"He replied, looking into my eyes as I paid no attention to his, only looking at the dancing petals in the air.
"All the time."I replied in a short, simplistic tone. He looked at me, puzzled, and I sighed. I came to the park to enjoy the quiet, not to chitchat with someone who could barely handle a shinai."My grandfather trains me."
"I see. Thats cool!"He replied, eerily enthusiastic. We both sat on the bench for a good few minutes until he spoke up once more. "Well, I'm sorry for bothering you, Matsumoto-kun. See you later."
"Farewell."I replied simplistically, and looked at him walk off a bit disappointed. I had nothing to do until 14:00pm*, and it was 12:00pm now. My head rested on the bench, and I decided if I could maybe rest, or just enjoy the silence of the atmosphere..

Until there was a vibration coming from my pocket. I took out my cell phone, wondering who it was; because I never gave out my cell phone number to anyone besides family, It was a text message, so it was probably a spam message that I'd just delete and get another one later. With the flip of my black cellphones top, I pressed yes to receive the message; I at least needed entertainment.

"Do you wish to change your life for the greater good?" 『Yes』 or 『No』

"Eh?! What kind of bullshit is this."I said a bit outloud, gathering the attention of a few people around me. I shrugged it off as I looked at the message, was it some virus for my cellphone? One of the quizzes that people like to pass around for shits and giggles? I moved my thumb over to the red phone button to press『No』, but I found myself more than compelled to press for yes. As if a person possessed, my thumb slid over and pressed for Yes, and the screen blinked, followed by a "Loading" screen that lasted a few seconds.

"Go to the nearest train station and take the elevator all the way down. You have 20 minutes."

What the..? I looked at the screen for a good minute, and the screen changed into stopwatch-mode to count down from 20 minutes. Was this some sort of hoax?! I didn't know how far the elevators at the local station could go down, but the last time I remember, nothing special was ever there. I snapped the lip shut and stood straight up from the bench.

"Might aswell go for entertainment sakes."I told myself in a whisper, and I walked peacefully out of the park; but started to make a mad dash to the station; which was more than 20 minutes away.

'20 minutes..thats not enough time! Why do I even feel like doing this if I know I'm not going to make it..' I thought to myself in a hurry, dodging people left and right on the sidewalk and almost crashing into a few outside stands a few times aswell. As I ran into a crosswalk that was busily occupied by moving cars, I ran in place, looking at my cellphone.

'10 minutes..you have to be kidding me..'I sighed, and saw a brief opening in between 3 cars. I waited for them to pass by, and made a mad dash through them as I got a few honk from the horns as I passed through. Never feeling any more suicidal in my life; I still wondered why this, a sudden stupid text message, was so important. Was it because it was out of the ordinary?

    Maybe.

As I ran through the next few blocks with ease, my stomach started to cramp up on me. Eatting a Manju then running after wards, was probably not the best idea, I thought, but I could see the train station. Taking a deep breath, I continued in a running pace and made it to the station, taking out my card in one swift action as I passed through the gates. I stood in the middle of the platform, and took a good few breathers as I saw a whole bunch of people staring at me.

"Mommy, why is she breathing like that..?"I heard a child ask his mother, and I immediately gave him a glare, one enough to send him behind his mother in fear. I gathered my breath and looked at my cellphone for the watch.

'3 minutes..not enough..'I rushed, and quickly found the elevator out of memory. I slammed my fist on the button to go down, and it quickly opened up. I ran in and quickly pressed the the lower floor button over and over as the doors closed and the elevator seemed to drop. I looked up at the monitor to view the levels we were passing through, until I saw something extremely off.

The screen was flickering and the numbers were showing up randomly, like in a horror film, although the elevator wasn't going down in the manner. It soon rrived in it's spot, and my cellphones screen lit up.

"You have arrived. Please board before they depart.."Text scrolled across the screen, and I looked infront of me as it seemed that there were different kinds of trains here, and there were plenty of people looking inside the trains; but not getting on.
'Should I..? I have practice with grandfather soon..and..'I thought to myself, then looked to my cellphone in my hand as one by one, the trains began to depart. In almost a recklessly stupid move, using the rest of the sugar energy from the manju, I ran to the train that was last to depart, a pink colored one, and jumped onto it's back as it started to move. I quickly held onto the railing to stabilize myself, and looked foward as the mysterious station below the one in Sapporo was disappearing in the distance..

Anyway, the trains go by this order in the station. "White - Purple - Green - Red - Pink", and it doesn't matter which one you board. The station itself is a crossroads between 2 worlds, and the elevators in the US, Iceland and Japan all connect there(but you can only see your own elevators. gg Data).

Each underground station is the same one for everyone, it's connected to every train station that was connected to Orphanimon's message. I hope that clears it moreso than the prior paragraph..

Default Re: Digimon: A Legendary Tale :: Starts! (3 LSU's)

    Name: Zoe Caldwell, or "Z"
    Age: 16
    Gender: Female
    Location: Miami, Florida, United States
Personality: Zoe is softspoken when calm but will get very loud when angry, excited, or when she needs to get a point across. She's very social, never afraid of meeting new friends but is calm enough to stay quiet and respect their personal space...most of the time. She'll rarely hesitate to clobber someone that threatens her or her friends. Her experience with her many siblings gives her an ability to sense others' emotions and needs. And when she gets scared -- and she will, given the Digimon -- she will scream.
Appearance: Light brown skin, dark brown eyes, 5'9", skinny build. Her proudest feature is her "runner's legs", long legs that are well muscled. Her arms are the same, reflecting her appreciation for baseball. She has long brown hair that's worn in a braid. Her clothing is made for hot weather: jean shorts, a white T-shirt, and sneakers. In the Digital World, her shirt turns into a red and gold baseball tee with her last name on the back and Digimon as the team name and a matching baseball cap. Which is good because her long hair gets shortened to a boyish haircut and now has red tips.
    Spirit of: Fire
Human "Digi"Power: She can create fireballs in her hands and use them as projectiles.
D-Scanner Color: Red base with orange handle
History: Zoe is close to being the middle child, with three older siblings (one college graduate, one in college and one finishing high school) and four younger siblings, them being twelve, nine, six, and three. What most others don't know is that only three of them are related to her by blood. Her mother took in the rest of them when their parents were unable to raise them. The two youngest are unaware that they are foster children. Zoe's father is currently unknown as Zoe was the result of a "one night stand".

Her mother enjoys a good job although Zoe's grandparents occasionally help her with the numerous birthdays and Christmas. She constantly reminds Zoe that she is her child and that she couldn't be prouder of her. But her busy schedule has Zoe entertaining her younger siblings after school. As a result they all share her enthusiasm for baseball and skating. She knows computers but doesn't use them regularly except for checking her e-mail.

Not wanting to follow her mother's initial path, she has been working hard in school and making excellent grades. She hasn't been able to participate in extracurricular activities but expresses interest in the softball team and choir. Her behavior, however, can get out of control sometimes. Her mom has observed that she can't go one month without coming home with a black eye.
    Relationships: none
Other: Knows Spanish but speaks English. She will, however, occasionally slip into a Latin accent when her blood gets pumping.

    Your Digimon form

    Name: Sprintmon
    Virus/Data/Vaccine: Data
    Element: Fire
Appearance: Sprintmon looks a lot like a Chocobo straight out of Final Fantasy. Instead of all yellow feathers, however, Sprintmon has a body of flaming red feathers with gold feathers on the tail, crest, and wings. Her face and chest is protected by armor. Kind of like this.
Attacks: Burning Fastball: Sprintmon spits out fireballs to damage the opponent and also destroy obstacles.
Rapid Kick: She seems to hover in the air while delivering lightning fast kicks in rapid succession.
Rushing Comet: A high speed tackle while surrounded in blazing fire.
Homing Fastball: A more powerful fireball attack that can chase down a chosen foe.
Berzerker: Sprintmon goes into a blind frenzy and attacks the foe with kicks and pecks, all while consumed by fire. She seems to ignore pain while in this state.

Will put up next post later. I was doing several things at a time.

I'm just going to go with that Canada connects to the same station as well. Lol.

    Name: Adrien Monet
    Age: 18
    Gender: M
    Location: Québec, Canada
Personality: Rather quiet and soft-spoken around those who he does not know. He is dependable if prone to leaving things to the last minute. He gets very annoyed at others who do not come through or make a big deal over a trivial problem. He is no more brave then the next person; he just hides his fear better. Somewhat. He has a habit of running his hand through his hair when he is agitated. He can have a quirky side and an odd sense of humour, which comes through when he is comfortable with those around him. He doesn't mean to seem distant, he just watches people for a while to see to see what they are like. More likely to walk away from a fight then argue, just don't get him too riled up. He is rather adept about make you feel the size of an ant in very few words. He is a loyal friend and can often cheer a person up by nattering (yes he can natter, shush) away about nothing in particular.
Appearance: If he were the type to be vain he probably would be referred to as a 'peacock'. Mid length blond hair that is just long enough to push behind his ears. Almond coloured eyes that are warm and welcoming. Which could if he wanted, very easily pull off the 'puppy dog' look. He is 5'10 with a well-toned body, but no great hulk either. Slightly tanned skin as he spends quite a bit of his time indoors studying, but he does mange to get out and ride his bike.
Often in a white t-shirt with the saying, "I reject your reality and substitute my own." on the back (yes I have seen and love the show --' lol). A light blue zip up hoodie is tied around his waist. Blue jeans and black and white running shoes finish the ensemble. Except he wears a gold ring on his left index finger with the inscription inside, souvenez-vous le tombé (remember the falling).
When he goes into the Digi World, his t-shirt looses the saying and becomes a sky blue colour, lengthening to reach his elbows. His hoodie darkens to navy blue as well. His hair also gains a few braids ending in a red crystal beads.
    Spirit of: Wind
Human "Digi"Power: He can make himself rather light and can jump very high, almost floating through the air. If he grabs someone, this also affects them for however long he has a hold of them.
D-Scanner Color: The handle in blue and the base is a light purple.
History: He was born and grew up in Montréal, Québec. He has lived with a roommate in downtown Montréal for a year now, studying at the University of Montréal. Before that he lived with his parents in a semidetached house. He has one younger sister who is a constant nuisance to him, as all younger sibs are. He had a relatively uneventful childhood, except when his father died of a serious illness which he rather not talk about. He had to scrounge to get the money to come to University, but his pretty good grades helped get him some scholarships. He often biking around Montréal and he loves his computer games.
    Relationships: None but open.
    Other: Arg attack!

    Your Digimon form

    Name: Evraenamon
    Virus/Data/Vaccine: Vaccine
    Element: Wind
Appearance: From the waist down he becomes a dragon like those in Chinese myths. A long thin body with clawed short-ish back legs and the tail is 1.5x the length of the rest of his body. So he basically is 15 feet long/6 feet tall when standing on his back legs. His lower half is blond on the top with ridge spines covered in fur. It fades to a ruby red and then blue before finally going white on the underbelly. Blue stripes reach down across his belly but not meeting the other side. His legs are ruby red with very long black talons on his three toes.
Out of his back spreads long gossamer wings. They are very similar to silk and it is unknown how he flies with them but they do flap and he flies perfectly well. They widen at the edges to twice the width they were where they come out of his back. They are pinkish purple near the arm supporting the beginning of the wing, fading to a greyish purple from the middle to their edges. The arm is white with blue stripes.
His t-shirt has become a button tunic that is open halfway. The sleeves are tight to the elbow and then flare out to very large and billowy sleeves. The t-shirt has also gone a ruby red colour. Blue stripes can be seen on his skin, which has become very tanned. On his face is one blue stripe on either cheek and his eyes are now slitted like a cat. On his back are belted two long knives. One with a navy blue handle, the other white; both have gold cloud swirls on the pommel and blade.
Attacks: Air Strike: Evraenamon dives down on the foe and slices at them with his knives and back feet. He can hover without flapping to fight with his opponent.
Whirlwind A windstorm whips into life around him and his allies blocking most attacks by simply whipping them away into the tornado and dissipating the energy.
Feather Light This can be offensive or defensive. Evraenamon calls up the wind to lift objects and/or his knives and throw them at the opponent. This can also be used to lift allies and make them light so they can fly and so flee quickly.
*Dancing Twists Evraenamon spins on the spot and a multitude of tornadoes appear and crash into enemies, somehow missing allies by dancing around them. This does not them from simply running/flying into them however.
*Maelstrom Evraenamon slams down his feet or claps his hands and in a large circle around him air is shoved out of the area, knocking down anything in it path. There is no air in this void and some enemies may suffocate. When Evraenamon lets go, the air rushes back in, once again blasting the opponents off their feet. It simply covers an area so allies may be caught in it if they are not far enough away.
    Other: *twacks*

' For day in mid-March it's not bad. thought Adrien as he pedalled back to his apartment. There were still a few snow piles around but it was a pleasant 12 C, a very nice change from the -10 and lower in February. He had been at the University Library researching for an essay but had decided it was just to nice a day to be indoors.

He slowly pedalled into a park and was just thinking he should stop and get something to eat when his phone started to ring.

He sighed and stopped at a bench, 'Probably Eric saying he's lost the key again.. It took a bit to dislodge it from its place stuck under a textbook. It was beat up greyish purple with blue buttons. As he slid it open he looked at it confused.

"Incoming text message? Eric learned how to spell?"

Bemused he said yes to receive it but was then even more confused.

Voulez-vous changer votre vie pour le plus grand bien?
    ¤ Oui ¤ ou ¤ Non ¤

"Riiiight. Eric has a strange sense of humour but this is getting a little odd even for him." He stared at it for a bit thinking, 'Eh I got nothing better to do . . .'

He pushed yes and the screen went to a loading hourglass, which made Adrien think Eric might have nothing to do with this. He had enough trouble with computers as it is. Sending something like this was probably out of his league.

Allez à la gare la plus proche et prenez l'ascenseur entièrement en bas. Vous avez 20 minutes.

Now he knew Eric hadn't sent this. Either way though, he had the whole day ahead of him and this might be entertaining. 'Come to think of it . . .'

"It's probably that Just for Laughs thing." He shrugged and hopped back on his bike. He had to think for a second as to where the subways were, as he didn't take them often. Is he realized it was a good distance away and if he didn't hustle he probably wouldn't make it.

"Shit!" he cried catching a few odd looks as he sped up and zipped put of the park.

He sped down the streets having to swerve madly a few times to avoid opening car doors and the vehicles on the road. He didn't know what had possessed him but he had to get there. He kept checking his phone as the 20 minutes worryingly counted down.

He clenched the brakes as he got to an entrance with only five minutes to go. His bike skidded to a stop and he leaped free as it started to tip over. He grabbed it and quickly locked it into a bike rack before dashing inside.

He shoved a five-dollar bill into the machine and out dropped five small silver tokens. He dashed down the stairs and leaped over the barrier, shoving his token down as he did so. The man in the booth was in mid yell when the token slipped into his bowl. He shook his head and muttered about mad teenagers as Adrien dashed away.

He ran up to an elevator and hit it repeatedly with his thumb. It seemed an eternity but finally it dinged open. No one was in it amazingingly enough and Adrien hit the lowest button. The car started down but as hit the lowest number it just kept going down, the elevator showing random numbers. It was speeding up to.

Adrien bit his lip worryingly and started praying that this was just some stupid prank and the elevator was not actually crashing.

Suddenly it slowed and with a bang it the bottom. Adrien tottered on his feet but managed to stay up as the doors whooshed open.

His phone dinged again and he looked down to see the message,

Vous êtes arrivés. S'il vous plaît le conseil avant qu'ils quittent.

"Uh ok . . . this is officially on the far weird side of the strange scale." he muttered to himself as he stepped out of the elevator. Kids were wandering around and troublingly for him he had yet to hear a single French word.

There were five trains waiting there in the rather dark station. It was a dark bluish teal with clocks between all the trains. He walked slowly down and wandered near to a purple one. He jumped as train next to it began to move and he hurriedly rushed into the last purple car. A few seconds later the doors slammed shut on their own accord and it started to move.

He ran to a window and watched the station disappearing behind him, wondering just what he had gotten himself into.

Roy overall is very confident and a overall nice person to meet and talk to. He is very unaware of the world beyond his boundaries and does not know the many customs of the world. He has short cut black hair although it is never combed and looks messy almost as if he doesn’t brush it when he gets up from bed. He has deep blue eyes that seem almost piercing yet also friendly and open when you look into them. He has a few pimple scars on his cheeks but otherwise smooth skin. He wears a small golden medallion around his neck, connected to a small brown rope, the medallion has the Japanese symbol of metal engraved on it. ~*~*~*~*~ At the Mall ~*~*~*~*~

There is one thing you have to realize about the malls in Hillsboro; it is that the mall, as in singular, as in one small mall, isn’t like any other mall. Most malls are indoor, most malls have air conditioning, most malls have food courts. So as I was standing outside of the millionth clothing store this mall seemed to have, I envied other malls. I glanced down at my cell phone, checking in the time as I got on my bike and rode around the parking lot. “Even Waco has a freaking inside mall.” I groaned, sweat rolling down my forehead as I hit the sidewalk.

The worst part about living in Hillsboro is that you lived in a waypoint, a stop over, somewhere to grab gas and food. In fact this was the town’s two main exports it seemed, gas and food. So for most teenagers you either worked at the 7-11 or the Whataburger. Or you moved on to bigger or better lives either in Austin or Dallas, no one ever stayed at the waypoint.

I turned my bike onto a gravel road, bumping along with the loose rocks as my cell phone buzzed in my pocket. Hitting the breaks I pulled it out, flipping it open and glancing at the message.

"Do you wish to change your life for the greater good?" “Yes” or “No”

My hand moved to the no button, and then I glanced up, looking at Dallas in the distance. What was my life right now? Some teenager that would be lucky to make it to a junior college? To be stuck in a way point town? I moved my finger over to yes and pressed the button down.

"Go to the nearest train station and take the elevator all the way down. You have 20 minutes."

Nearest train station? At that moment I almost dropped the message all together, something bad was possibly waiting for me there, something I did not want to deal with. Instead though my mind ran through all the possibilities of train stations. There were industrial stations, ones that ran from Mexico all the way up to Dallas, possibly further. I glanced down the road, looking home.

Shaking my head in disgust I turned, racing down the road as fast as the pedals would take me, I began to count off the minutes. Fifteen? Maybe ten? I sped across town, crossing the interstate and raced toward the sound of train horns. Five minutes? Four…

I caught side of the train station, jumping off my bike, sending it skidding across the sidewalk. There would be time later to lock it up, besides every kid in town had a bike. Sweat clung to my hair, as I looked left, and then right. My heart pounded in my chest as I rushed up the steps, hitting the button on the elevator and rushed in, hitting the down button. Here it comes, Adventure, or just a stupid Scam.

Default Re: Digimon: A Legendary Tale :: Starts! (3 LSU's)

    I hope it's not mean that I point this out Haruko, but even after I've had my sign-up completed AND accepted for a few days I'm still listed as a reserve. I can understand if it's a bit of a mistake, but I'm just letting you know. ^^;

    Name: Nadia Malakian
    Age: 15
    Gender: Female
    Location: Glendale, California, United States
Personality: Nadia has been identified by many as "unique," which has resulted in, much to her dismay, catching the attention of plenty. However, this attention has resulted in mostly negative feedback; this, and things such as her current situation at home have given her two almost different sides, although both are generally quiet and rather timid. The majority see her eerie calm that gives an air of suffering; this has caused many to assume that she is intoxicated. However, when she feels close enough to somebody that she can trust them, her "aura" seems to cheer up only slightly, yet noticably. Though only her closest friends have seen her truly sweet, honest side, a lot have seen that her eyes even show that she's hurt even when she smiles.
Appearance: Nadia can be slightly summed up in pictures as looking like a slightly more womanized Daron Malakian. (who was slight inspiration in this character; believe me when I say that womanizing him wouldn't be much, though - body//close-up of face) Her body, as shown, is rather slender, but moreso healthy than sick; she isn't flat-chested, however. (she's about a B or a C cup - not to comment on what I'd be were I really skinny irl) But even then, the small build on her little frame complement her height of 5'2". Her eyes are wide and of a deep blue color (like this) with a few flecks of an odd golden brown, and her thick dark brown/black hair is bangless and slightly layered - the locks on the sides of her face fall to about the base of her neck, and the rest falls on her backside to about two inches past her shoulders. Her skin has a faint natural tan, yet is rather pale because she prefers the "great indoors."

Nadia has a tendency to be somewhat edgy in her choice of attire in stark contrast to her mother and a lot of her classmates and their mothers, mainly for comfort and the cheapness rather than trying to stand out, but occasionally dresses in some of the popular brand names just so her mother doesn't get too wary...more about her mother in the History section, so in mean time, back to Nadia! Since she's on spring break in time being, she's relaxed and more free (she doesn't like to reveal much) in attire, which consists of a pure black tank top with straps of a medium thickness (larger than "spaghetti straps," but not quite the width of a shirt with full shoulders) with black and white striped armwarmers and dark-colored jeans with small natural tears at only the knees with plain black flipflops. Jewelry consists of a small sterling pair of hoop earrings with three balls of the same material (the middle ball being slightly larger than the others) and a black studs in both ears (yep; pierced twice) and a long silver chain that falls to mid-chest level with a brown wooden cross.

The travel into the Digital World has altered her clothing quite a bit. Although the jeans and jewelry are retained, her tanktop is replaced with a turquoise tee with solid black armwarmers and her flipflops are exchanged for a pair of black Converse high-tops. Also, the longer portion of her hair is loosely tied back most of the time for convenience.
    Spirit of: HEART! Ice
Human "Digi"Power: Nadia is capable of freezing air molecules within her vicinity (the radius will expand upon experience) for protection of herself and others. This, however, works stronger in areas with more air moisture, and is practically useless in deserts.
D-Scanner Color: Silvery grey base with turquoise handle
History: ~note that a lot of these events will probably end up as flashbacks~
Nadia lived all of her life where her mother was raised without exactly knowing who her father was; the fact that she does not contrast from her mother's family (except for her eyes) too much was at first enough to make her not dwell on it. She was seemingly always a bright child, always learning the basics earlier than most children. However, as soon as she started to receive a lot of attention from teachers, her mother snapped for reasons undefined and things slowly took for the worse.

Nadia has went through many potential stepfathers who were eventually ran off by her mother. Although she is told that it is all her fault, Nadia believes that her mother will ostracize her own self from those who do not completely agree with her and/or constantly give her praise. She has also had to learn to keep her mouth shut about things when it comes to certain individuals, because if knowledge got back to her mother, her mother was prone to physical hits that may or may not have involved the removal of privileges or even basic needs.

At first, Nadia seemed unfazed by never going a day without hearing something close to the phrase "You're doing it wrong" (yes; I am Anonymous) until she began hearing her mother's words from the lips of peers and the occasional teacher or two. This made her wonder if it was true that she was essentially the scum of the earth, the trash of God, and other things. Among these issues, her mother's hands were on her quite a bit in one form or another; although it was mainly slaps, there were other things that made her uncomfortable, and it grew worse after her early puberty was cut short at the tender age of ten. After the death of her grandfather when she was almost twelve, Nadia felt like there was nobody that would save her and began a spiral downward...

However, it was about this time that people she had occasionally been in classes with in the early days of elementary school saw that there was a lot about her that they liked. That may be another reason as to being ridiculed by girls in school, because these friends were guys - apparently "hawt" guys at that. Even though her and her friends were rather tight-knit, she always had the strongest bond with one in particular, and it was never that much awkward even if he had his own relationship and she didn't. It was through them and what she had first learned from her grandfather that she developed the interests she keeps to this day - computer-related tasks, video games, writing, drawing, and the acoustic guitar.
Relationships: none as of yet, unless somebody wants to be a 'net buddy.
Other: It is unknown to everybody except her closest friend, but Nadia has had a tattoo surrounding her navel for about six months; it is the same shape as the logo for the Yotsuba/4chan imageboard (this), but the leaves are a turquoise color rather than green.
As depicted by her tattoo, Nadia is also a /b/tard; she is prone to make a reference to a meme or one of the Rules of the Internet if she sees it as acceptable at the time.
    Theme Songs:

    Your Digimon form
    Name: Blizaramon
    Virus/Data/Vaccine: Vaccine
    Element: Ice
Appearance: ~forgive me if the description is too complicated; I will probably draw this when I feel like it~
Blizaramon is still rather small, but can be described as being a younger, cuter Nadia. She's skinny and only 4'8" in height with silver-colored hair with spiky bangs, although still in the same fashion as Nadia's; the shorter locks have pitch black tips about half an inch in length and the longer part is tipped turquoise to the same length. Although her skin tone is still rather pallid, rather than tan, Blizaramon seems to glow with a faint bluish hue. She has the same eyes color as Nadia, and not that much about her hints a beast with the exception of her white catlike ears and tail in edition to the turquoise pair of "chibi wings" on her back.

Blizaramon's top covering is revealing, but also protective; a breastplate of a black color with stripes of sterling silver for details held to her chest by thin white ropes tied at the back and also as a loop around her neck, as well as a large, smooth-cut turquoise between the breasts, and her bottom covering is a pair of dark blue shorts made of a durable material that end at her mid-thigh level. Her footwear is a pair of black Greco-Roman style sandals, and in addition to the frivolousness of her attire, she has turquoise armwarmers lined with silver that extended over her hands like bell sleeves.

Blizaramon's weapon of choice is a staff; her size itself suggests that magic would suit her better, anyhow. It's essentially the rod shown here. (I totally need to play that game again...so long...)
    Attacks:
»Summoner's Circle - Blizaramon uses both hands and twirls her staff in front of her to create a large sheet of ice for protection. Alternatively used to freeze jets of water aimed in her direction.
»Surprise - Blizaramon's most basic offensive move. She forms a snowball that is hurdled at the opponent like a hardball; the snowball may contain a material like glass or rock at any given use, which will deliberately cause more damage than if the snowball had no extra material.
»House of Frozen Daggers - Many air molecules around the opponent freeze over to form small ice shards that crash onto the opponent.
«White Surfer - Blizaramon uses her staff to create a solid stream of ice. Alternatively, this can be used as trails for her to surf along hence the name of the attack. (not all that original, but oh well)
«Pool to Cocytus - It starts out with Blizaramon holding a hand out in front of her, freezing the opponent dead in their tracks. Blizaramon then creates a sword with her staff by removing part of the shaft to reveal a blade and then uses it to hack at the opponent. This is her strongest attack.
(the last two are, of course, the ones to be learnt later on)
Other: Nadia feels like a total loli in this form. Not that she has anything against them, of course.

    Nadia Malakian
«Yesterday seems as though it never existed//Death greets me warm, now I will just say goodbye...»

Many people I've talked to longed to live in at least the suburbs of a city considered fairly major on the international scale; sure, the cultural diversity can be pretty interesting, but after a while, you do realize that living amongst a large amount of people will get annoying. In as short a life as I have so far lived even I found myself in realization that people can be cruel. Of course, the majority of people will find intimate relationships in their lifetime and the world won't seem so bad; it's just the uncertainty of how long those relationships last will pain you...

Frustrated, I lifted my head out from the icy pool of water I created in my own bathtub, deeply breathing as I began to slightly shiver as a result of culture shock, pulling down a thick towel to dry my hair and face. At this, I realized that maybe I should seek less extreme forms of stress relief, or at least try to keep my mind occupied a lot more. However, seeing as that I was the only person in town among my friends for the first part of the break, I was pretty much left alone to no solution; in fact, my shyness even held me back quite a bit from just so much as calling to check up on any of them. Shuichi, or Shu as he preferred, was on the east coast for college tours and Thom went north to spend some time with an old girlfriend before she also had to leave for college; both were having the time of their lives in the back of my mind. But my main concern was how somebody else had been feeling...

Me and Charlie, I guess you could say, were pretty much best friends; we even had to learn to avoid doing things as just the two of us after he started dating other girls for the sake it sometimes seemed like we were together. Of course, as there was a minor part of me that wished for a relationship with him, I was completely content with the emotional bond we had now. And as a result of that and his sudden moodiness, I was concerned. Even before he received an out-of-school supension for accusations of hacking he was acting a little strange - his usually cheery expressions were more pensive, his voice a little more serious whenever he said anything...even the gentle glow in his greenish eyes that always assured me that everything was going to be fine was starting to fade. My worries were that something was going on involving his current girlfriend, but I didn't bother to ask.

I found myself finished with drying and readjusting to the temperature as I thought about this, finishing the process of running a brush through my hair as I gazed into the mirror, thinking for a moment before finally putting my tanktop and armwarmers back on and walking the small distance back towards my room. Moments of readjusting and intaking the aroma of Indian-imported incense later, I found myself a little bored, and lonely again. Just as I was about to pull out my computer chair and sit...

    "IT'S OVER NINE THOUSAAAAND!"

Great. My unnecessarily loud notification that I, in fact, had received a text message. (sad enough, more forced memes were required because my phone was a black Motorola Razr) However, my general assumption that I definitely knew who would be sending me a message turned out to be wrong; unavailible. A little confused, I flipped the top up and checked the message.

"Do you wish to change your life for the greater good? 『Yes』 or 『No』"

It was fairly "late," not too much after eight in the evening last I checked the clock. Of course, seeing as that it was, in fact, a Saturday night, my mother would most likely come home from partying a little late or even not until morning, she wouldn't know what was going on. Either way, I just felt like this was a mere waste of time and data; closing my eyes, I pressed a button hoping I deleted it to practically say no to the question, but upon reopening them, my hands had deceived me and chose yes.

"Go to the nearest train station and take the elevator all the way down. You have 20 minutes."

...and at that, the message faded into cyberspace to immediately give way to a timer that started to count down from twenty minutes. All I could literally say was "Double you-tee-eff?" before starting to feel a rush of panic in my nerves. Sliding into my flipflops rather recklessly, I rushed down the staircase and out the door, phone and wallet in hand. I called for a taxi and took the first that approached, a little thankful that the suburb I lived in was among the more heavily-populated.

The driver, seeing it odd that I was in as much of a hurry as I was, merely shrugged and answered my pleas, making the couple-mile drive in around ten minutes due to the traffic. I paid and thanked him maybe a little too generously as I rushed out the door, pulling my phone out to realize over half of the time limit had already elapsed; it felt like half of my life was gone with it, odd enough. I continued to run towards the elevator, ignoring the mass of people that were quite possibly staring at me, and got in. The doors shut in front of me in a fluid-like motion, my heart pulsing with nervousness as the elevator sifted downward. I had probably more or less than five minutes now, and I was suddenly wondering why a single text message, possibly a prank, would lead me into so much of a frenzy.

The ding of the elevator signalized that I had reached the bottom level, as the screen flashed that I had arrived and asked that I board a train before they departed. I closed the phone and slid it into my pocket with my wallet and looked before me with bewilderment whirring in my eyes as I stepped out of the elevator into this new zone. Five different, individually-colored trains were there, and the station appeared to be crowded, but the people, blurry as shadows to my eyes, appeared to only be staring into nothingness with two single red dots for eyes; perhaps I was delusional when I visualized these strange "people," but I knew for a fact that the trains were real.

I looked up to see the same countdown on clocks, the digits a dark teal, sitting between each train. I looked at my current position between a red and green train, turning to step off the platform to board the green one for no exact reason. I began to close my eyes and catch my breath, trying to relax, the motion of the train beginning to depart forcing me into a seat, holding the nearest pole as I turned towards the back window, a pit in my heart telling me that this was the last of my own world that I would see for quite possibly a long time...

    Name: Evander Poe
    Age: 17
    Gender: Male
    Location: Akureyri, Iceland
Personality: A technical, analytical mind, with a deep thirst for knowledge. He pays a great deal of attention, leaving no stone unturned, so to speak. He prefers to spend his time reading and learning, rather than socialize. He will read a text over and over until he’s gotten every last scrap of information out of it. He constantly seeks to learn more about the world. He’s calm to the point where he could be considered cold. He looks at people as specimens of study, rather than his fellow human beings.
Appearance: He stands at about 5’4’’, with a thin build and a slightly pale complexion (he rarely gets out). His hair is a grayish blue colour, which drapes over his right eye, giving him the ‘emo’ look (not that he cares. He knows he’s not emo and doesn’t care what others think.) His eyes are green of a poisonous hue. His face is round, almost beautiful.

He normally wears a dark purple shirt, with black pants, black shoes and a dark grey coat over it.

When in the digital world, instead of his grey coat, he wears a black leather one, that’s normally zipped up. He still wears the black pants and shoes, but also a pair of black gloves. It’s uncertain whether he wears a shirt under the coat or not.
    Spirit of: Darkness
Human "Digi"Power: The ability to create shadow clones of himself. They have no physical body and are mainly used for decoys.
D-Scanner Color: A deep purple base with black handle.
History: Evander’s life wasn’t truly spectacular or anything. His father was a scientist and it was him that he got his thirst for knowledge from. He developed a love for reading when he was small, reading through his story books countless times. When he was 10, he began reading more serious texts, namely on science and such subjects. Due to his dedication to study made it almost impossible for him to make friends, not that it bothered him. He started regarding people as research subjects, studying their actions and lifestyles. While his solitary lifestyle bothered his parents, they were at least proud of their son for being at the top of his class.
    Relationships: currently none
Other: Upon entering the digital world, he was given a book called the “Digipedia”. This book contains details on all the Digimon in the Digital World.
His most commonly used word is “fascinating”.
    Theme Song: Organization XIII

    Your Digimon form

    Name: Gelehrtermon
    Virus/Data/Vaccine: Virus
    Element: Darkness
Appearance: At first glance, he resembles a human, wearing a black, leather coat with a hood, normally zipped up. He has long, dirty blonde hair which reaches just past his shoulders, and his eyes are covered by a purple, ornamental mask. The hood is normally worn over his head, with a purple symbol of some kind on it. Chains wrap around his arms, leading to a heavy, ancient looking book on the end, hanging by his sides. However, you’ll find that he has really no physical body. The only physical body he has are his arms, hands and head.
    Attacks:
Pages of Sealing: One of the books Gelehrtermon hold vanishes and a larger version appears behind the target. It closes on them, trapping them within the pages. When the book’s destroyed, it will simply re-appear in Gelehrtermon’s arms. The digimon trapped however will be damaged. This attack can only be used twice at a time and most of Gelehrtermon’s other attacks cannot be used.
Shadow Servants: Two shadowy, serpant like creatures arise from the pages of Gelehrtermon’s books. These servants will attack the enemy and even shield their master from damage. They’re not indestructible and can be destroyed. While this attack’s in use, Gelehrtermon cannot use other attacks.
Page Storm: Gelehrtermon sends a flurry of pages at the enemy. The pages spin around Gelehrtermon like a tornado, cutting up the enemy.
Inscribed Memory: This attack can only be used after Gelehrtermon’s fought at least one enemy. Gelehrtermon can use the attack of a digimon he’s fought before. (unfortunately, his pages are completely clean, so he wont be using Lucemon’s attacks or anything).
Black Waltz: The books chained to Gelehrtermon’s arms turn into orbs of dark energy. He throws them at the enemy and they slam into their sides. The enemy is then engulfed in a crackling ball of dark energy, which grows before exploding, doing great damage.

Evander sat back on the one of hte seats in the green train. His mind went over the events that had lead up to this point, that lead him down here and onto this train.

    --------------~*~--------------

He had been sitting at home, confined to his room, studying as per usual. He rarely left his room unless it was for a meal, to find something else to read, or when nature called. This was how his life normally worked. Most of his life he spent in his room.

However, he was interupted by his phone ringing.

vander never had much use for it, apart from reserving orders for texts he wished to study. He picked it up slowly and checked the message.

Do you wish to change your life for the greater good? 『Yes』 or 『No』

Evander studied the message for a moment, trying to figure out what it was. A hoax? some sort of advertisement? He was about to press "No" when his curiosity surfaced. He knew if he pressed no, the message would just go. But what if he pressed yes?

His curiosity got the better of him as he pressed "Yes".

Go to the nearest train station and take the elevator all the way down. You have 20 minutes.

Evander sat in silance as the message vanished, replaced with a timer.

The train station? Thankfully this wouldn't take long, since the station was a ten minute walk from his home.

    --------------~*~--------------

He arrived in ten minutes, just as he predicted. He strode silently into the elevator and pressed down. There should only be one floor under the ground floor. It was only seconds later that he realised that the elevator was going even lower, even though there weren't any more floors.

"What's going on?" he murmered quietly to himself.

It was a few minutes before the elevator reached the bottom. Evander stepped out to find himself in a large room of some kind. Five different coloured and unusual looking trains were stationed, ready to depart. There were also many other people there, all from different cultures and nationalities. A message flashed on Evander's phone, instructing him to board a train. With his curiosity peaked, he didn't question the order and stepped onto the train nearest to him, the green one.

    --------------~*~--------------

He leaned back in his seat, his eyes closed, pondering what exactly he had gotten himself into. Something in the back of his mind told him that this would be an experience like no other, but another part of him was unsure.

He was jolted from his thoughts by the movement of the train. He looked out the window to see it leaving the station. He glanced around the carriage to see if anyone else had boarded. He noticed a young woman had come on, but noone else.

Zoe Caldwell ~ Swing and run, baby!

"Hey, batta! Batta, batta, batta!" twelve-year-old Cory yelled at the top of his lungs as I stood at home plate. This wasn't a real game; just practice for both me and my brother.

"Just pitch the ball!" I yelled back, getting just a little annoyed.

    "I just like saying that!"

"You're not supposed to be saying that! You're supposed to be pitching! So PITCH!"

"FINE!" He threw an impressive curveball that I almost couldn't hit. It bounced to right field and rolled to a stop right next to the foul line.

My nine-year old sister, Nina, clapped. "Z was right! You do throw better when you're angry! Is that a good thing?" she asked Cory thoughtfully.

"I don't think so," I told her before draping an arm around Cory's shoulders. "We can practice more tomorrow. Right now we need to meet up with Mom and the others."

My oldest brother, Damien, climbed off the bleachers and walked to us. "She'll be picking you up after she's done shopping so wait until she calls you." He looked up at the sky with squinted eyes. "Man, this place is hot already. How about we move to Alaska before June gets here?"

    "Good idea," Nina agreed.

I heard a faint buzzing from my pocket; my cell phone was going off. I pulled it off and looked at the screen. "Huh? It's a text message," I told Damien.

"Mom doesn't send text messages; they're too expensive," Damien commented as he looked at the screen. "Wait, this isn't from Mom. What number is this?"

"Doesn't say." I flipped the phone open and accepted the message. What I read confused me:

"Do you wish to change your life for the greater good?" 『Yes』 or 『No』

"It's gotta be a scam," Damien and I said together. That's what I said; I thought something completely different. Sometimes I had a feeling when completely crazy things weren't what they seemed. Insane people seemed more sane; scams made a little sense.

"What's gotta be a scam?" Cory asked me. "Come on, I want to make another pitch before Mom gets here!"

"Just a second." I chose "yes" out of pure curiosity.

"Go to the nearest train station and take the elevator all the way down. You have 20 minutes."

My heart started to race. Which train station? Did any of them have elevators that went down?

"Damien, where's the nearest train station?" I asked him, my tone sounding mystified.

"There's the Metrorail station that's a few blocks from here!" Nina interrupted excitedly. "See, I know where everything is here!"

"I want you two to stay with Damien. I'll be home in an hour," I told the two younger ones hurriedly. "Be good!" I took off running, hoping that it wouldn't take twenty minutes to get to my destination.

As the minutes ticked by, I got ticked off by every little obstacle. I didn't pay attention to the crossing lights and almost got run over twice. Two other people almost got run over...by me. Half of the time limit had passed by the time I got to the station.

"The train's on the upper level. There's no elevator that goes down!" I hissed to myself as I went inside. Instead of just the two elevators, however, there was one across from the two that only went down. I punched in the down button and waited for the elevator to arrive. Other people seemed to overlook that one.

I entered the elevator and slid to the floor as it went down a long way. That's when I started to get scared. Even if there was supposed to be a down elevator, there shouldn't be one going down that far. That wasn't the only strange thing. As I looked up at the flashing buttons, I found that there were a lot of floors I was passing and that I was passing them in the wrong order. 2...5...4...8...

    "What the hell?"

Then it stopped. I checked my cellphone as it buzzed again. "You have arrived. Please board before they depart," I read. "Before what departs?"

The doors slid open, revealing another train station. Five trains waited for departure, each one a different color. The clocks showed that the one nearest to me was departing within seconds. Okay, decision time. Will I chicken out of this strange situation? Because this looks like something out of the Twilight Zone!

The white train started to chug out of the station. Panicking, I dashed to the purple train before started to leave. I didn't get second thoughts until the doors closed behind me. Regret started to grow in the pit of my stomach as I took a seat next to the window. "Okay, I got in a strange train that's going to an unknown place and I don't know when I'll get back. Yeah, that was a smart thing to do," I grumbled to myself.

    Minamoto Akina
-i trace my steps again and again. / i never seem to get anywhere..- by YUI

I opened the door to the back of the train as it departed from its station; to whereabouts unknown. Why did I do such an irrational action? I knew I had practice with grandfather soon; so why did I say yes to the text message? Why did I exhaust myself and run so far to the train station? I took a deep breath as I closed the door of the train behind me, and looked inside the train.

We were currently inside a dark tunnel, the only thing illuminating the cars was the lights on the cieling of the cars itself. It seemed to be a perfectly normal trailcar, so I sighed and sat down; prepared for the full reparation for my curiousity. I looked around to see if anyone else was just as curious as I was, and I saw a male with black hair. However, he seemed to look foreign, with piercing blue eyes and a few pimples on his cheeks.

"A foreigner.."I mumbled to myself, and as I looked away from him, he took sight of me and moved closer. The closer he got, the more uncomfortable I got, and tried to inch away from him.
"Where the hell are we going?"He looked at me, and asked in a language I could barely understand. I knew only the word "going", as I barely paid attention in english; it was the period in class that I took naps in. I looked at him liked he had 3 heads, and he sighed in fustration.
"I guess you don't speak Eng-lish?"He asked me, and I rolled my eyes. I knew what he was saying there, basically.
"Yes."I replied in japanese, nodding so he could understand with his simpleminded head.
"Great..."He replied, as I was thinking the same thing. I sighed and closed my eyes as, for once, I wished I paid attention in English class. What was the person behind the text message thinking, sending it across the world?

"My name is Roy."The blue eyed boy said, pointing to himself, then me. "What is your name?"
"Namae?"I replied, then I knew what to say."Boku wa Matsumoto Akina desu."*
"Roy.."He replied, confirming things, as if I were some animal. He then pointed at me."Akina?"
I sent him the sharpest death glare of my life."Matsumoto-kun!"
"Matsumoto.."He said, and I sighed. That was the best I was going to get out of a foreigner, anyway. I sighed and looked away from him and to the window. It seemed that this dark tunnel would never end, and I would be here forever with this english babbling idiot.
"this is this worst.."I mumbled to myself, and he looked at me like I had three heads. I sighed.
"We need to try and figure out where this is going."Roy said, and I simply ignored. I knew he was saying something about "where" and "going", but I didn't feel like talking to him anymore. It seemed like ignoring him annoyed the hell out of him, as he got pissed quite easily from me simply just staring out the window.
"What if we can't go back, and you can't go home."He asked, trying to get me to look him in the eyes. Home was nothing special, I didn;t even have a real mom that cared for me, and a grandfather that saw me more as a student than a granddaughter. Why should I worry?
"Don't care." I replied in english. He sighed, fustrated..

It was at that moment that the cars in the train started to shake, and the lights started to flicker on and off; until they stayed off completely. I fell off the seat, my cellphone sliding across the floor. I felt my back flare up in pain from the fall as I crawled over to my phone. It miraciously didn't break; instead, it was glowing with a bright light. It slowly changed shape into some device of sorts, with a screen and 3 buttons; with one on the side. After it finished glowing, the screen flashed with an image of a beautiful woman covered with teal armor and wings. It felt as if she was looking into my very soul, and she smiled.

"Welcome into the Digital World, our saviours."Her voice was serene, but filled with a fear that I couldn't yet understand. As the image dimished from the screen, I felt a sharp pain within my body as it felt like a million or more things were piercing into my body at once. The feeling slowly dimished as the darkness from the tunnel did aswell, and the train came out of the tunnel and into the daylight.

The pain you will experience will be the Human "Digi"Power bombarding and intergrating with your data. Orphanimon will introduce you to the digital world and the next post will introduce us to the first town(which will contain the Spirit of Light). Aswell, right after you enter the digital world, your D-Scanner will start the Translation Process, so you will start to understand foreign languages a bit slowly(unless you know what the other person is saying.)

The trains are currently riding on nothing except for the rails themselves, there is no land beneath the rails once you get out of the tunnel.

*Akina uses "Boku" mostly because she sees herself above a girly girl, and doesn't like using "Watashi". She isn't retarded enough to use "ore"

    ~*~*~*~*~ Train Ride! ~*~*~*~*~

Every few seconds a white flash would illuminate the train car, as it continued to travel down the tunnel with a rate of speed that seemed almost inhuman. I flicked my cell open, and then closed, doing it over and over again, it was a nervous tick, a tick that seemed to intensify with every passing moment. The girl across from me glanced over while mumbling something as I sat across from her.

Taking in a long sigh, I rose, walking over and sat down next to her, only to have her inch away. “Where the hell are we going?” I wondered out loud, idly rubbing my stomach and wishing I had gotten something to eat before I rode past all those fast food restaurants. She glanced over at me, and I let out a long sigh, this was going to be a very long journey.

“I guess you don’t speak Eng-lish?” I asked, noticing her Japanese heritage, that was something you usually did not find in Hillsboro, except for the Mexicans there were really no other visitors, from ‘out of town’. She answered back a word, which really did not sound like it was English, more Chinese. “Great…” I sighed.

I began to flick my cell again, open, close, open, close. My eyes wondered back over to the girl next to me. “My name is Roy.” I pointed to myself, and then pointed toward her. “What is your name?” I asked. She replied back with something that sounded like ‘Name’ and then followed it up with what sounded like more Chinese.

Sighing I picked out the word that sounded most like a name and went with it. “Roy..” I tried again, pointing to myself and then pointed to her. “Akina?” I tried, looking a little hopeful that I was communicating with her.

Instead her eyes narrowed, her arms crossed over her chest. “Matsumoto-kun.” She replied, to which I copied. She turned and looked back out the window, which I had no idea what she was looking at.

“We need to try and figure out where this is going.” I wondered out loud, getting up and pacing up and down the car. She continued to look out the window in annoyance. “What if we can’t go back, and you can’t go home?” I asked, my voice becoming slightly agitated not to mention filled with fear.

“Don’t care.” She replied in English as I sat down next to her.

It was at that moment the car shook, the lights going out sending my cell flying out of my hands. Something heavy suddenly went into my chest and I went tumbling onto the floor. I quickly wrapped my arms around the object, holding on tight until what ever it was shook themselves off and moved toward a light. “You’re welcome.” I growled, moving over to where my cell had fallen, only to find a new object in it’s place.

“Welcome into the Digital World, our saviors.” The woman replied, light suddenly filling the train and tunnel. Digital World? What is a Digital World?

    Name: Wind Rainheart
    Age: 17
    Gender: Female
    Location: Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
Personality: While outwardly she doesn't show it, instead fawning to the popular people around her, inside, she is immensly jealous, due to conflicting desires to both fit in, and be better than all the girls around her. She views herself as more deserving than everyone else, after all she feels she's suffered, she feels entitled to something more, something greater. When outside the company of her peers, she drops her charade, becoming caustic and rude, mean, and downright petty, and would probably feel best with boys fawning over her while she ground a prettier girl's face into the pavement. She additionally has some sadistic tendencies, but hasn't acted on them yet.
Appearance: Standing at 5'6", with straight brown hair, blue eyes, an average figure, and a very meager wardrobe of t-shirts and jeans, she is very... plain, which she absolutely hates. She's literally the sort of person who fades into the background whether they like it or not.

In the digital world, her appearance changes completely, She stands six foot tall, with long, slightly wavy red hair and green eyes, a figure most women would kill for, and is garbed in denim hot pants, a halter top, and a set of sandals.
    Spirit of: Wood
Human "Digi"Power: Able to merge with and teleport between plants large enough to hold her body mass.
D-Scanner Color: Green base, with a rose red handle
History: Born to a couple ex-hippies, Wind essentially suffered under their hands off style of parenting, starving for attention, and validation. What little attention was paid to her was in homeschooling her, and this continued up until high school, when they decided to let her go to a local high school.

Howeve, upon arrival in high school, she didn't find friends, validation, and support, but cliques and competition. Languishing further, she developed lots of buried resentment, and has been that way since.
Relationships: Other than being one of the "hangers on" to the popular girls, she has no real friends.
    Other:

    Your Digimon form

    Name: Rosamon (NOT ROSEMON)
    Virus/Data/Vaccine: Virus
    Element: Wood
Appearance: A six foot tall, green skinned woman with rose red hair that reaches to her butt, similarly colored eyes and lips, and garbed in a figure hugging gown made of leaves that leaves nothing to the imagination.(sorry, had to do the pun) Could easily be called as beautiful as a goddess.
    Attacks:
Pollen of the Heart: Rosamon waves her arms, sending out pollen that, if inhaled, affects the mind to either turn the victim to her side, paralyze the victim, or, if they manage to resist it, do absolutely nothing.
Lash of Love: Producing a long, thorned vine, Rosamon lashes her enemy with it.
Heartbreak Rain: Spinning the Lash, Rosamon flings numerous enlarged thorns at her enemy.
*Harem of the Garden: Producing seeds, Rosamon casts them around, and when they hit the ground, they sprout, producing copies of herself.
**Forest of Deathly Pleasure: Rosamon suddenly bursts to microscopic motes of plant matter, spreading everywhere, and, moments later, growing to become a small forest of thorny plants, trees and vines around her opponent, animate, and ready to tear them to shreds. This attack consumes the rest of her energy reserves, leaving her tapped once it is done, and she returns to her normal form.
    Other:

    Wind

I frowned at the text message I got, it was certainly bizarre, shrugging, I replied "Yes". I glanced around at the next message, no one I knew was around, so I began to run, breakneck speed, it was odd, I didn't fully understand why I was doing this, but something primal deep within me said it would be worth it. Soon, I was there, panting, practically diving into a convieniently open elevator. I jammed the door close button at the same time as I jammed the lowest level button I could find. I kept fidgeting as the elevator kept going lower, lower, and lower, I panted, shaking my head.

Why in the world was I doing this? If anyone found out, I'd be the laughing stock of the whole student body. What little standing I'd made would be dragged down in one instance. And I'd lose the one chance I had of getting what I deserved. Lose the only chance I had of grinding the faces of those idiots in the dirt. Suddenly the door dinged, and I dived out, seeing odd looking trains. Not even bothering to look at the message on my phone as it buzzed, I took a beeline to the red train, entering it's doors before they closed, and continued to gather my breath.

The full enormity of things hit me then, there'd been people at that station, people she didn't recognize. Some of whom looked... foreign. What in the world was I doing? Where was this train going? Questions flashed through my head as I limply found a seat, practically falling into it. I felt so... drained.

A few moments went by before the train suddenly began to rock, as my cell began to glow, going from the cheap, low end piece of trash that it was... to something different. It reminded me of some forms of MP3 players, or perhaps one of those old handheld single-game systems. Then the screen began to shine, showing the image of a very beautifily lady on it, causing a stab of jealousy in my heart.

“Welcome into the Digital World, our saviors.”

Spoke the voice of the woman, before the image faded, and pain enveloped every inch of my body, causing me to grip the chair, the pain fading as light filled the tunnel, and the train.

I was clear of the tunnel...

    Adrien Monet
    Evraenamon
    ^*'~-------____-------'*^

'Wonderful just wonderful. You just rushed onto a train and you don't know where it's going! Adrien thought as the station disappeared around a corner. He sighed, running his hand through his hair he walked forward through the car.

It was rather plain, with pale yellow rug over the wooden floors. The benches along the side also were a light yellow. The lights on the ceiling were the only source of light. Adrien, seeing no one else in this cab decided to looks around a little.

"How can no one else be on this train? There were tons of kids there . . ." Adien mumbled to himself as he walked down the cab. He opened the door to the little area between the two cabs and could see a female passenger sitting on the benches. She had long brown hair in a braid and her skin was a light brown as well. She looked worried and kept glancing out the window, grumbling to herself.

He immediately didn't feel half so worried and he opened the door, smiling with relief he wasn't the only on the train. She looked up at the sound of the door opening, relief crossing her features.

"Thank God, I thought I was the only one on here!"

'Ai great it doesn't look like she speaks French, my luck.' he thought, his smile fading a little, as she got up. He only understood a few words of what she said but the meaning was obvious enough.

She crossed over to where he was standing just in from the door. She was looking at him curiously, ' Probably wondering why I haven't answered.' he thought, noticing she had brown eyes.

He let the door slid shut with a click and nodded, smiling reassuringly. "Oui, er yes. I pensé, pensé . . ."He tapped the side of his head and frowned to try and get his meaning across. She smirked but nodded, "so to. Sorry I parle (he mimed talking with his hand) small English."

She sighed and said, "Greeeeeat I get stuck on the train with the guy who can't understand a word I'm saying." then she frowned and said, "Wait, maybe . . ."

She rattled off a sentence and the only would Adrien got out of it was español. He shook his head and she spoke something even more bizarre and he raised his hands.

"Non, no, sorry seulement French and little English. No espagnol. And I comprendre you good-good (he tilted his hand back and forth)so no bad parle. I err . . . know." He said nodding to himself and racking his brain for the English he remembered from school.

She laughed and nodded. "Alright so I can't trick you. Much." She said smirking, and Adrien nodded, frowning. "So what's your name? I'm Zoe."

'Well that's obvious enough.' "I'm Adrien Monet."

"Monet? Like the painter?" She asked, turning and sitting down.

He sat down beside her and shrugged, "Same name, no relation."

She nodded and asked, "Soooo do you know where were going?"

Adien frowned and she repeated it but pointed at the train and it moving with her hands.

"Oh! Non," he pulled out his cell phone and slid it open. "See? I reçu message de texte and I come ici."

"Me too!" she got out her cell phone and showed the same messge, but in English. "I ran to get there. I don't really know why."

Thankfully she had gestured through most of it and Adrien nodded. "I know non too."

They went silent then but just as Zoe was about to say something the train started to shake.

"What the-" she said and Adrien frowned, shaking his head. The lights flickered and shaking got progressively worse until the lights blacked out. They were then flung off their seats and Adrien cursed as he crashed onto the wooden floor. The words coming out of Zoe didn't seem pleased either.

Just then a bright light was emanating from his jean pocket. He pulled out his cell phone and watched mystified, (and admittedly a little scared) as it morphed into a strange device. There were three buttons and a screen. It also was a light purple with a blue handle. He groaned as he got to he knees and watched in amazement as a woman's head appeared, in the screen. Her face was almost completely covered by teal armour. He could also see gold wings rising up behind her.

He shared a puzzled look with Zoe (noticing her cell phone had changed to) and then the woman started to speak.

"Welcome into the Digital World, our saviours." she said, calm and yet there was a frightened tremble in her voice as well. Before he could think much on it he was bombarded with a searing pain. It felt like dozens of needles were stabbing him at once. He is trembling as it finally ends, the train coming out of the tunnel and into the bright light.
