Arena: Giant Monster Attack!

A massive city stricken with destruction. Huge monsters attacking the skyscrapers and that kinda thing. The battle takes place on a busy intersection. Many of the cars have been abandoned, so there's no fear of harming any innocent people. If you're strong enough, you can use the cars as weapons. Watch for falling debris from the monster attacks, and, above all, be careful. A few rounds in, a giant robot will come in and "save the day" by fighting the monster (and causing destruction as well, inadvertently).

Battle theme: The Mighty RAW - We Need a Hero
Terms: 2 vs. 2 (1 pokémon each).
DQ: 2 Weeks.
Banned Moves: Attract, Non-damaging Recovering Moves (Giga Drain, not Recover), Non-damaging Status Inflictions (Poison Sting, not Toxic), Counter, Mirror Coat.

Our pokémon will be revealed once we have challengers.

Wow; I completely missed this question, sorry River. I guess my description was a little clumsy there, what with the inconsistent instances of the letter "s". Anyway, the monsters can be anything your mind can come up with. If you need some ideas, you can always scan Wikipedia for Power Rangers, Godzilla, and what-not.

Levi, let's make things interesting! While that bug is powering up, utilize that time to give him quite a punch -- Focus Punch! Then, Withdraw to avoid the Gyro Ball. Finally, fire off a Water Pulse at the Charge Beam so it'll discharge before reaching you, and hopefully cause some damage to your foe!

Poor, poor battlers, Grey should never have given her free reign with the monsters. They walk into a huge city, with skyscrapers and crazy drivers in abundance. Most of the citizens are running screaming, as earlier the Ref waved her 'crazy scientist of doom' wand. She wanted one monster, however the clouds parted, the ocean bubbled and the ground churned. Out from these magical portals came a Dragon, Godzilla and King Kong. Not intentional but interesting no doubt. As the five people stop at the centre of one of the major intersections. Godzilla and King Kong are going at it a couple of blocks away. They can hear the windows shattering and the building groaning under the abuse and all look worriedly in their direction. Currently the Dragon is flying about, taking a human now and again as a pleasant snack.

Being so close to the monsters, this intersection is deserted and the battlers spread out and toss their respective Pokémon for the battle ahead. The Pokémon don't look overly pleased with this arena either but they reluctantly listen to their orders. Thorn starts this off by starting her stomach on a roller coaster of unpleasantness. This was easy in her current fear-filled environment. Leviathan meanwhile is tightening his focus and putting all the power he can into his right fist. His eyes are closed as his fist begins to glow a bright orange.

Her queasy stomach finished its brew and Thorn looks up to Wyndryde. Wyndryde has been trying to race around boost her speed, but to no avail. Absol cannot learn Agility; she has simply warmed up he muscles a little. She has however been able to boost her attack a considerable amount with by concentrating her power and sharpening her focus on the business at hand. She turns back to the battle only to get a face full of sludge. She yelps a bit and shakes the mess off. That stung though and a bit of the venom has slipped in through her eyes, poisoning her.

Meanwhile Ammit has been slowing his movements as he centres his attention on careful and deliberate movements. No one will catch him by surprise and he is certainly calmer then he was at the beginning of the match. Leviathan, seeing his opening, rushes forward and slams his fist into the side of Ammit's shell. He cries out and skids off over the cement, spinning like a top.

Thorn is the one to close her eyes this time as she turns her attention inward before sending out a mental probe for Wyndryde. She touches her mind with a delicate touch, and Wyndryde doesn't even notice the contact. She copies her focused mind and feels the boost in her attack as her muscles feel pumped and ready to strike. Wyndryde and her partner have turned their attentions to Leviathan. He has withdrawn into his shell, to better protect him from the coming attacks he hopes.

Wyndryde is first as she calls forth electricity from all her around her. The lights spark and the power lines are humming oddly as the power she has stolen grows into a small ball. Just when she can't hold it anymore she fires the beam. The energy streams for Leviathan and crashes into his shell, causing him to glow bright yellow. Shrieking can be heard from within, the Withdraw certainly hasn't helped with that attack. Some of the power has passed back over Wyndryde and she feels her energies charged from it. Ammit meanwhile has been wrenched metals from all around (easy with the destruction nearby) and has created a decent sized ball of steel. He sends it flying with a mental push and it dings and crumples against the big tortoises shell. Leviathan is not appreciating this as he slowly comes out.

As Leviathan gets his wits back in order, Thorn is filling her left fist with poison and a dull purple glow surrounds her hand. She runs toward the prone Wyndryde and socks her one in the shoulder. Wyndryde snarls and swipes back at her but Thorn nimbly leaps out of the way. Suddenly Leviathan catches Wyndryde attention. He is shooting the water from his two cannons and it is growing into a ball just in front of him. With a mental push he sends it flying for Wyndryde and he screeches high and loud, just on the edge of human hearing. Thorn backs away from more as Wyndryde looks in shock. She turns to leap but the ball collides with her side. She is knocked right of her feet but the sound while annoying, doesn't confuse her. Ammit has been ignoring this for the most part as he once more gathers metals and forms them into spikes that he scatters over the field.

Meanwhile the sounds of destruction are ominously getting closer . . . The Dragon's attention has also been caught by the attacks being flung around and he is lazily winging his way over.

Leviathan was hurt 10% from Charge Beam (5% x 2), 2% from Gyro Ball, (6%/2 for Resistance and -1 from Withdraw). Thorn wasn't hurt.
Leviathan was fatigued 11% for Focus Punch, 2% from Withdraw and 3% from Water Pulse. Thorn was fatigued 4% for Sludge Bomb, 4% for Psych Up, and 4% from poison jab.

Wyndryde was hurt 9% from Sludge Bomb and was poisoned. She was also hurt 6% for Water Pulse and 8% from Poison Jab.Ammit was hurt 15% from Focus Punch.
Wyndryde was fatigued 3% for Sword Dance and 4% from Charge Beam. Ammit was fatigued 4% for Curse, 3% for Gyro Ball and 3% for Spikes.
