Let's start off with a Flash to blind things before they get any worse. After that, fire off a Shadow Ball and then Thunder Wave in quick succession.

Hi I'm DL. Super sped Ref. Roses, nice to meet you. You'll see alot of me around here. Anyway, Match begin, yes!

Yaichi toddles around the cold enviornment, as Vitani pops in and out of vision, before making himself visible. Just like that, Yaichi is in his face, Crunching down on that ghost with shocking acuracy. In retaliation, Vitani throws up a Flash of light to repel the little ice demon, but the damamge is done.

Not understanding the reasoning for such a painful start, Vitani, floats over to the ice cube-as it shivers and tries to put up a screen. Pissed off at the horrid first attack, Vitani makes sure to slam that Shadowball right into Yaichi's shivering mass. The Snorunt goes flying, landing on his face.

The Safeguard he was trying to erect does stand however,

Yaichi slowly gets up in this lowest level of the caves, where the floor is slippery, but dosen't flinch as a Thunder Wave jumps across the ground, and tries to land on him. It bucnes arund his body, but fizzles out. Vitani looks peeved, that danged Safeguard blocked him!

To explain. MLG here did a combo attack, where you link two attacks in order to get a quick advantage in a round. The drawback to such tactics is that you only have one more move left. Don't worry, It's not something you have to worry about too much, he's just showing off .

Wait until the hail is going and use Sunny Day to clear the air. That'll put a kink in the plan. Stay floating to keep off of the spikes and fire off a Shadow Ball. Shoot a Shock Wave right after.

The second round starts off pretty oddly. Hail begins outside, but since they're in the cave, that doesn't really matter to them. Yaichi doesn't seem to mind, and Vitani just spites him and causes the Sun to come back out over the ocean.

Still in a dead heat, Yaichi kicks around a few sharp looking rocks, and sets them up. Kicking each one, thaeyshatter into a little Spike, before they are flung at Vitani. Vitani scooches to the side, before throwing a large Shadowball directly at Yaichi-which hits.

Spiky!

His setup kinda failing...Yaichi decides to even the sore, but not before a fast acting Shockwave knocks him on his back! Hopping back up, the Ice type causes the whole cave to dractically reduce in temperature, before relasing its rage upon Vitani. The Blizzard blasts so hard it exits out the entrance to Shoal Cave, mystifying people on Mossdeep's beach.

Vitani...stares. It shot right to the left of her. Hot damn the Flash helped out!

To Explain: There was no way I could envision Shadowball and Shockwave beng used as one attack. Hint-for combo's lean toward actions that can be seen working in tandem, like for example, Fire Punch and Aerial Ace. But that was a good start!

This match is flying. Yaichi capitalizes on the Calmed and collected Vitani by spitting in her eye. Foul lil Glaileright there. The ooze gets in her eye, and hence the process begins.

Displeased with that foolish little Ice creature, Vitani reelases a Pulse of energy that malignantly strikes the Glaile. Although hit back a bit, Yaichi instantly learned how the attack is utilized and remembers it for later.

Glad to see that the match seems to be going her way, Vitani rears to fire a souped up Thuderbolt. Yaichi does a cartwheel and suddenly is 5 Pokemon, as the bolt surges though the center target, missing completly. 4 Yaichi stand tall, Vitani effetly outnumbered.

Yaichi, the Snorunt was eager to try out its new move. Within a few seconds, a Pulse of negative energy flew and struck Vitani, whom was impressed at the power of said move. So imporessed, she threw a firecracker at him in appreciation. The Wisps burned all around Yaichi, burning him!

Without warning, a Flash brightens up the already HIGHLY REFLECTIVE SHOAL ICE CAVE!

Ugh...Ok. Using Flash..ow.. in a cave like this, make it last a very long time. SO it'll be bright in here for quite a bit. Vitani seems to be taking advantage of Yaichi's blindness by floating behind him and nailing him with a Shadowball. Yaichi though ...o jeez REALLY? IN A CAVE?

In the Avalanche-fresh cave, the Snorunt herd poked their collective heads out. Shaking a tad, Yaichi was able to build a Substitute of snow and Ice. Vitani poked out the snow, and fired off the brightly colored ray-only to eatch it bounce on the Substitute.

Behind the Sub, Yaichi began to conjure up the loose snow in the cave in order to throw an immense Blizzard at Vitani. She split into 4 clones, but that did not help as the ice and snow whipped around and cleared out a good percentage of the snow.

Upset, Vitani tried to fly in close, anticipating the attack...that never came. Yaichi just leaned back on the sub, resting a bit.

First use Icebeam, freeze it if you can. Then poke it with your Iceshard immediatly followed up by biting it hard with Crunch.

Use Psychic and hit it with its own attack. Try to wipe out the rest of the clones with it and then use a Charge Beam to get rid of the rest. Spit a Toxic at Snorunt when it comes to attack and let's even it up again.

Happily dancing about, Yaichi looks as the dark shape amongst the now dimming cave starts to come into focus again. Ice crystals are drawn together, before blasting forth in earnest to strike Vitani down. However, the beam bends! It hit with a powerful Psychic force and made to Crash right back into the Substitute-shattering it!

Stunned she was able to do that, Yaichi goes for the speed kill, running and lunging at her with a quick Ice Crunch combo! Vitani falls back from the force of being hit by Yaichi, but makes up for it by firing a Charge Beam where she was bitten! Yaichi releases her, shocked a tad too much!

Her spirits lifted because she finally got a hi, VItani folows up from the dispriented Yaichi with a spit to the face! Foul toxic spit Shuppets have.
