I dont know If I should get into Fanfiction. I am sure it is loads of fun, and i like writing, I just dont know. and many people know i haventbeen here long enough to know that i write good, or rp good or whatever. so basically i am taking a vote. no poll just a vote. does anyone think i should go into fanfiction. if you think i should just say so.

Though I'm flattered you decided to ask the good people of miscellaneous, you'll probably find your best response within the sub-section of fanfiction itself - the writer's lounge is where discussions pertaining to fanfiction are to be found...

Thing is, people are all going to say yes anyway (I mean, why wouldn't they?), so you're more likely to get some responses detailing the joys of fanficcing rather than a simple yes/no vote. So consider yourself already ficcing, son.

In my case, I simply offer you the statement of 'why not?' - at worst, nobody reads it and you're no different from before you started. At best, you'll be able to expand your writing skills, get some good feedback from helpful people and maybe even find a new home in TPM's beloved fanfiction corner of the world. ...Make sure you still come back to misc, though.

I agree with Dragokinght. I mean, having an audience is fun. Having people know how awesome your writing is is a great feeling, I'm sure. But in the end, you're writing for your own enjoyment. If you want to write, write! If you feel like starting a fanfic, get started! As Dragoknight said, there's nothing to lose. It's not like if you get started, there'll be someone pointing a gun at your head demanding you finish your fanfic. Some people write a short story, enjoy it and move on. Others stick at chapter fics for years. So if fanfic is something you'd enjoy for the moment, join in. We'd love to have you here.

Ada and Tony have really said it all, I think, but I'll join the chorus: yes, give Fanfiction a go! It's a good place to share your prose, poetry and miscellaneous pieces of writing, as well as meet some other writery people, join in discussions and polls, and basically just have fun!

thank you for your kind words. All of you. And dont worry i will appear in misc from time to time. and i write for fun, so i guess i would fit in. XD I would strt writing right aweay... because my latest rpg would be nice to start but it doesnt seem like it will so i am probably going to use it as my Fic.
