Lina Inverse character sprites
Well as some of you may or may not know I managed to finally get my computer about a week ago. Since my old busted ass office system didn't offer much in the way of entertainment I started to practice sprite editing in an attempt to get creative and try something new while passing the time. It's been awhile since I last did this so I took another crack at it. This time I tried taking a well known RPG character and recolored her into a well known anime character. Attached is a small sample of a FF6 sprite sheet recolored to look like Lina Inverse from Slayers. This one proved to be a bit of a challenge. In the end I wound up taking a few liberties with the sprite. The main one is swapping a dark gray cape/headband for the original black ones. Had I gone with black it would have been too washed out due to the black outline nearly every sprite seems to have.
Go ahead and look over this small sample. I'm still debating doing a full sheet since that'll take quite a bit of time. In the meanwhile please offer up suggestions for possibly improving the sprites. Also while your at it take a look at my Goku edits and rate those as well if you haven't done so already.
NOTE-On further inspection for some strange reason the sprites now have bits of green and blue where there shouldn't be any. I know for a fact I changed those. The things that makes it more odd is that those colors are even showing up where they weren't there on the original Celes sprites :-/
Oh well.....just bear that in mind if your looking these over when it's zoomed in.
