Ok, the set rules are:

DQ: 72h (strictly!)
Number of pokemon: 3 (one out at a time)
All matches will have a damage cap of 50.
All non-damaging healing attacks are banned.
Abilities are not in effect for the duration of the ladder.
No Signature Moves
Also: There is a 20-round Cap. After the 20th Round has been reffed, the match immediately ends and is declared a draw if both trainers have a Pokemon left.

Aside from that, you can choose the arena, who goes first, etc

Holy crap, I just realized I forgot how to do this! Okay, I'll start out with my male Aron, we'll be in the Desert Dusk bowl, basically just a huuuuuge deep hole in the ground, random chance for Sunny Day or Sandstorm, the walls are smooth and unclimbable.

Round 1/20
Melg meets his opponent in the dusty dunes. The sun is crawling high in the sky above as he grips onto his poke ball fiercely. Both trainers eye one another before tossing their respective poke balls to the sands below, releasing Ikkaku, a fierce-looking tyranitar, and a much tinier aron. Truly a David and Goliath match if you'd ever seen one.

Ikkaku wastes no time and spits at the ground several times, making mud out of the sands. He takes the mud in his right claw and charges at the metal mouse frantically. Aron doesn't look worried, however. *Wham*, Ikkaku slaps his right hand into Aron's protective barrier [ -3PP M. Ikkaku ], cracking it easily. Aron was unharmed [ -5PP Aron ].

Ikkaku is annoyed, but he keeps his cool. Rather than lashing out at the smaller foe, the hulking dinosaur gathers his thoughts and proceeds a meditating ritual of dance. The technique was learned by him as a young larvitar. As Aron watches his foe dance, he prepares to give him a sharp sneak attack. Ikkaku's spirits are lifted [ -5PP, +10% Atk, +10% Spd Ikkaku ] just in time for Aron to crush them again with a blunt bash with his small iron tail [ -15HP M. Ikkaku / -8PP Aron ].

Ikkaku's had it now, and strikes the tiny metal mouse quickly. With his heightened strength and speed, Aron has no chance to escape Ikkaku's fist [ -22HP, Con Aron / -10PP M. Ikkaku ]. Aron, now dazed, has no idea how to respond to his foe's attack and merely paws at the sands below, perhaps fearing for his life [ -2PP Aron ].

Aron is still confused as the second round begins. Before he can even start his attack, he marvels at Ikkaku, who is barking out several naughty things to anger Aron. In a rage, Aron haults what he's doing immediately and throws his body forward, tackling the larger rock pokemon lightly [ -3HP, -2PP M. Ikkaku / -2PP Aron ] before skidding across the dune, about ten feet away.

Aron turns to face Ikkaku in order to start the process over. Ikkaku, however, is more calm about this than before. He begins focusing his energy into his balled up right fist, and just as Aron reaches him, he throws it forward, sending Aron high into the air [ -33HP Aron / -13PP M. Ikkaku ].

Aron struggles to his feet. He is in great pain, but shrugs it off as Ikkaku recharges his own strength. He charges back at Ikkaku with an attack in mind. As he dashes, his fighting energy comes out like an orange aura. He manages to ram into Ikkaku this time, dealing great damage [ -24HP M. Ikkaku / -10PP, -10% Atk, -10% Def Aron ]. Ikkaku turns to face his smaller foe, and snaps his fingers. This releases a small torrent of electric shocks at Aron, weak enough not to cause any damage, but strong enough to paralyze him [ Par Aron / -5PP M. Ikkaku ]. Aron's feet fail him, but he is no longer angry, at least.

Aron's eyes shined bright as he released a burst of metallic energy that nearly breaks the rock tyrannosaur [ -23HP M. Ikkaku / -13PP Aron ]. Ikkaku shrugs off the attack and hits Aron with another punch [ -17HP Aron / -5PP M. Ikkaku ]. Aron skids backward before retalliating with his steel tail [ -14HP M. Ikkaku / -6PP Aron ].

The battle is 25 percent completed, and Houndoom_Lover's first pokemon is already out. The fallen aron is recalled, only to be replaced with a hound more on par with Ikkaku's stature. Mephistopheles howls in hopes to intimidate his foe, but the tyrannosaur's not having it whatsoever. Ikkaku instead retalliates by throwing out harsh insults that Mephis can dish out, but not take [ -3PP M. Ikkaku / Taunt Mephistopheles ]. Mephis, now goaded into attacking, decides to do just that, and throws out a volley of star-shaped missiles at his opponent, dealing light damage against the rock pokemon's hide [ -4HP M. Ikkaku / -4PP Mephistopheles ].

Mephis, sensing imminent danger, charges at his foe. Ikkaku, too busy preparing for his next attack, is unable to duck away in time, and is instead bashed in the side by Mephis' sucker punch [ -6HP M. Ikkaku / -4PP Mephistopheles ]. Ikkaku stumbles backward before shooting out a blast of water that envelops the dark hound. The water, using a unique energy, surrounds the houndoom, scraping across his fur harshly [ -8HP Mephistopheles / -6PP M. Ikkaku ].

Ikkaku smirks, having Mephis right where he wants him. He brings down his right fist, which has been enhanced by stone. But before he can strike down, Mephis cloaks himself in the darkness and avoids the brunt of the attack [ -8HP Mephistopheles / -7PP M. Ikkaku ], before charging at the tyrannosaur, tackling him again [ -4HP M. Ikkaku / -3PP Mephistopheles ].

Mephis begins the round similarly to the last round with swift. Another volley of stars escapes him, scraping along Ikkaku's buff build [ -4HP M. Ikkaku / -4PP Mephistopheles ]. Ikkaku takes the hit gracefully, and unleashes a rapidly charged blast of pure fighting energy that collides with the houndoom, dealing great damage [ -18HP Mephistopheles / -12PP M. Ikkaku ].

Mephis pulls himself together briefly before disappearing into the shadows once more. Ikkaku takes a few moments to recharge his batteries until the hound pokemon tackles him from behind [ -4HP M. Ikkaku / -3PP Mephistopheles ]. At this point, Ikkaku is surrounded by a worrisome aura -- his swan song. Mephis, whom at this point, had retreated to his side of the arena, begins to tremble in fear as the large tyrannosaur charges toward him. He couldn't escape, and is at the mercy of Ikkaku as he collides with him. The force of the attack is as ungraceful as possible, and Mephis, now against a wall, pulls himself back together [ -32HP* Mephistopheles / -15PP, -10% Atk, -10% Def ].

Mephis is angered even moreso than before, but keeps his cool as he stumbles over toward another section of the battlefield. Ikkaku's not going anywhere, and Mephis knows this. The hound pokemon's tail shimmers with an iron coat, and Mephis runs at his foe with a grace that was unfounded by the previous attack -- SLASH!, Mephis' iron tail crashes into the hide of Ikkaku [ -9HP M. Ikkaku / -9PP Mephistopheles ], bringing him down for good.
