Magic, Anyone?

Just curious, but does anyone here happen to play Magic: the Gathering?

So, to have some sort of discussion going. How do you like the new core set? After the flurry of sealed and draft events, I think I'm quite satisfied with Magic 2011. I feel like the balance and strength of the cards in the set are very good, this time around.

I started playing it in 1997, I really enjoy this game. I never participated in any events, only play it with friends. I don't try to have really powerful decks, I just try to have many different ones (I currently have 20 decks) so I can use as many of my cards as possible, even weaker ones.

I started when I was five, after my dad brought home two starter decks for us. I've been playing ever since, though its hard to find players in the middle of nowhere where I live :/

I am looking forward to M11, though I'm still trying to get Rise of the Eldrazzi and Zendikar cards. I've never had a lot of money, but one of the kids at my school just bought a bunch, so I've been trading him almost all of my Whites, for them.

Favorite colors/cards?

I like all colors, my favorite is red though. Nothing beats good old Ali from Cairo.

Esper covered me perfectly: W/U/B. Although I can still do some fun stuff with red and green, they will usually splash (heavily) one of the above.

I used to be into Red/Green or White/Green, but lately Black/Red and Black/Red/Green have been more to my liking. It's funny, since I just realized the deck I first got and learned to play with was R/G/B.

I started playing Magic about six years ago, during the tail-end of Kamigawa. I'll play pretty much anything. I find the different styles of decks interesting. I've noticed that I drift toward a combination Red, Black, or White though, during drafts. That probably has to do with the fact that those colors commonly have removal.

I'm currently playing a budget version of Boss Naya (R/G/W) for Standard. I'm itching use my old Mana Leaks, though, so I'm trying to brew up something blue.

As for favorite cards: Momentary Blink.

i know EXACTLY how that is.
but nah i dont really play ive collected the cards since i was little along with pokemon and others. i never really learned how to play till a like maybe 3/4 of a year ago. ive played a handful of games since then
