Arena: The Wolf’s Paw arena: Located in the middle of a grassy field is the arena in the shape of a Wolf’s Paw Print. The heel of the paw is filled with tall grass and trees. The first toe is a mixture of sand and dirt. The second toe is made up of ice. The third toe is water and the fourth is lava. Each of the claws is a small rock formation but the first one has a cave. This is den of the local wolf pack. There are three of them the Alpha (White) Beta (black) and Omega (silver). Most of the time they will leave you alone. This changes if you disturb them too much. Then one of them will come down and attack. For example, an occasional earthquake while might irritate them but they’ll let it slide. However constant use may cause one of them come down and attack for 5 hp damage. However, for every five rounds there is a small chance (5%) that the wolves might give a blessing. If the Omega appears (75% of that 5%) all pokemon on the field regain 10 energy points. If the Beta appears (24% of the 5%) all pokemon on the field gain 10 Health points. If the alpha appears (1% chance of the 5%) all pokemon gain both 10 health points and 10 energy points.

Yahoo! Here we go! New Year here and DL is all sorts of ready! We got ourselves some new toys from the gub'mint this year and I actually got a check, so I can be all flashy with the rest of the world! Back inn the Wolf's Paw, Wolfy's fAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAvorite hangout! MxG is here to fight and is gonna be a grass showdown first! Voilet and Briar eye each other, and the bell tolls!

Briar starts by erecting a shield around itself, using the woodland as cover. Violet does the same, creating a total of 5 Roselia's to confound the kindred spirit.

Briar does not flinch at the sight of more than one Roselia, he knew they were dirty cheaters of the poison world. He merely lets his focus coalesce around him and fly off at one of the clones. The clones vanished and the smell of fresh earth fills the air. Must be Ground. Violet silently mourns her clone's vanishing by resolving her force internally, and grows from it.

With small brown orbs circling him (weird), Briar tries for a more pertinent force: sludge. He heaves up a large amount and watches it cascade ll over..a clone. The poisonous substances seep into the ground, and Violet shakes her brilliantly hued petaled hands at him-all before she forces a mental taxation on Briar's form. Briar cries out in pain, and backs up, unaware they HAD that kind of power.

The group of Roselia all laudle over Briar, as he fumbles in the grassy knoll. He finds his footing and scrambles to erect himself a Substitute. The Grassy women jump on him though and begin kissing his cheeks, trying to confuse him to no end. When they were done, Briar...went back to making his Substitute. Violet was confused, why didn't that work?

Briar now watched as his Sub was the target of a nasty Extrasensory attack. It stood no chance, but it was better than actually being hit by it. Better to know thy enemy. He snickered and readied his mind.

Birar jumped out of hiding, to Violet's dismay, and was even more shocked when the Bulbasaur fires off an Extrasensory itself. Too bad it hit air. Briar was so excited about using its new move that it forgot there were clones about. This left him wide open for a Shadowball to the face.

Briar stared at the clones left to annoy him. So he went to a surefire hit, that of leaves bidding his will. Violet did not like this turn of events, and so she chose to dance amongst the Leaf barrage. Yeah, the leaves cut her advantage apart, but she felt grrreat.

Glad to have eliminated the dopplegangers, Briar was quick to fire off an Extrasensory. The move wouldn't be in his repertoire long so he wanted as much use out of it as possible. Sucks though, as Violet reasserted her cloneage. A clone vanished, and Briar growled aloud, that's unfair!

Briar groaned, knowing this was a pot shot in heck. He looked at the few plants waddling about and fired the same attack again. It was a tad weaker, but it hit its mark! Falling on her head, Violet groaned and retaliated with a speedy tackle, really forcing that bulbasaur to the ground.

Briar and Violet both tried a more passive approach for each other. Violet wriggled about and tried to Captivate him with her grassy hips. Well it worked, but Briar played this to his advantage. He whistled at her, and she smiled coyly to it...before passing out.

Violet lied there, completely vulnerable, as Briar tried to weaken her with more mental prowess. But that captivating woman, she and the weakening Extrasensory really didn't do much to her.

Violet slept amongst the grasses, and Briar took the time to re-cast his Saefguard. This way there would be no shenanigans of health. Violet however, hopped up and seemed to stare at Briar. Nothing came of it though.

Briar now turned back to Violet, whom still snoozed away. This gave him the time to focus his energy, and ram forward, Bashing his Skull in Violet's chest. The small plant went soaring, and bounces off a tree. Upon hitting the ground again, a plethora of needles went in the air, and all homed in on Briar. The missile barrage gave Briar a nasty series of stabs.

Briar grinned, glad the femme plant was asleep. This allowed him to...o geez. Violet shook off sleep. He switched tactics and just rammed her with his cranium again. Violet flipped backwards, and felt her swollen back and chest. That guy was whipping her in her sleep? No. A nasty mental barrage took Briar down a severe notch.

Vioelt knew that if that happened again, she's be in deep trouble. So she darted for the planimal, and jumped right into a slew of spores. Briar looked up and suddenly was hit by a pipsqueak falling very fast. He shook his head from the hit, to see Violet passed out. Perfect!!!

Violet seemed to shudder in her sleep, and Briar could not risk that being a boon on her end any longer. He rallied and took all that energy he just got and forced it into one mighty Skull Bash. The hit was enough to bounce the poor Pokemon off of the ground twice, and land her in higher weeds.

She slept summore, and the results of her move are still unknown.

Bri rallied for another Skull Bash, but Violet opened her eyes! Skidding to a stop, Bri switched tactics and flung some softer mud at her. Violet was a bit groggy still and slow to react, until the mud hit her in the chest. It stung, but she woke up with a start after that. In retaliation, she fired off a slew of stars to pelt the chubby Bulbasaur.

Briar tried to stifle the hits with another Mud-Slap, but another hit of Swift Stars permeate that plan. Briar backs off, hanging to a slight inch of life.

Briar, exhausted and exasperated, tries to pull off a clonage again. But Violet, she's ahead of the game this time. As Briar tries to make himself hard to spot, she screams. The force of the yell is more than powerful enough to take out anything within her radius. Briar winced, and then fell over.

Wolfy didn't even blink. In a flash, she whips out a standby, her Lucario, Ziva. Ziva lands on the poisonous barbs, but flicks them side as if they were no more than tight morsels of dirt. That bothers Violet, whom takes an idea from Briar's playbook, and goes for the blinding Mud-Slap. Ziva's really fast on the draw, and manages to shoot a Psychic just as the dirt smacks...a tree. Ziva laughs, but Violet is struck hard. Real psychic ability really sucks. Also helps if you could see your opponent.

Ziva follows up with another Psychic that throws Violet closer to her. Close enough so Violet slams into a tree next to Ziva. Ziva stays still, and Violet, still pretty blind -does not know left from right. She gauges, and flings Mud again, only to hit a bush.

Violet huffed, thinking that maybe she was able to slow the Lucario down, until a crushing weight compelled her to fall. She lied still, and Ziva let up with the Psychic barrage. So much for something so small...
