Will ref!
See! Even though I'm british I know who Uncle Sam isANYWAYS... Anyone up for a battle? Challenger can set up the field since I'm feeling incredibly lazy, but one rule that I'll set is only electric types can be used. Yeah, ruthless type advantages are unfair. I'll send out my electrike Jinso, male with the ability Static.
EDIT: Now a 5 vs 5; with a type theme to each battle. Yeah, I hate when type advantages aren't to my favor.
EDIT once again: Credit for epically cheesy title goes to DCM![]()

Will ref!
Alright i was gonna ref but Oslo beat me to the punch. Im so bored and i cant just turn down an open battle from my rival now can I???
I choose HLFP (Hey Look Free Pokeball), my Voltorb. Ability = Static
The Arena is going to be..
Power Plant Interior: The Power Plant Interior from the Kanto region. It is an inside arena, so weather moves dont work. There are wires charged with electricity all over the floor. There is also a big generator to the side that send a powerful surge of electricty through all the wires on the floor. If an electric pokemon is touching them, then they can either have +10 Energy or +10 Health. Which one is up to the ref. Arena damaging moves like earthquake will make the wires less powerful and the generator will eventually break.
No Banned Moves
DQ: 3 Days
4v4 if thats okay. if you dont have four then 3v3 if not 2v2 and so on
Alright HLFP,
Start off with Toxic. Then lets see what your Hidden Power is for this battle. Then finally use Swift.
If the little monster tries to use a Status Inflictor use Magic Coat.

Cool, but I only have 1 electric type at the moment. How about 4 seperate 1 vs 1 battles with the same rules as this; as in same type battles with arenas to suit them?
I like! I can come up with the type arenas if you guys want, starting with the Power Plant DCM suggested.
However, you should probably make it a 3 on 3 or 5 on 5 to avoid the possibility of a tie.
yeah lest do that. Alright so this one is Electric. Cynder attack![]()
Oh yeah, didn't think of that. 5 vs 5?
Fo sho. Cynder ur turn for attacks
Toxic ~ Snarl ~ Flamethrower
Subs: If it uses Double Team, use Swift. Make sure you get the Toxic in there though.
I already posted my attacks Cynder... cuz u sent out first

‡ Round 1 ‡
Good day, and welcome to the Kanto Power Plant! Here, amidst many buzzy generators and live wires and Pokeballs that only look like Pokeballs but are really Electrodes ready to asplode in your face, we will stage the first match-up of, oh yes, an epic Pokemon battle! Familiar faces Cynder (who is not a boy!) and DCM will be squaring off yet again. Their last match ended with DCM getting narrowly edged out after a well-fought battle, but will things wind up going differently today? Let’s find out!
The trainers make their selections for the first pairing. Cynder’s wee little thunder doggy will go off against DCM’s imitation Pogeyball. Excitement! Let’s get this show on the road!
HLFP looks on as Jinso begins hacking up a blob of steaming Toxic goo which he immediately spits right at the Voltorb! Yuck! Not wanting that icky stuff to make contact, HLFP suddenly erects a pink energy shield. The goo rebounds off HLFP's protection and strikes Jinso right in the kisser. All of a sudden, Jinso's stomach begins to burble. He whimpers. Not good.
Jinso: <-5 EP; Txc>
HLFP: <-5 EP>
HLFP bounces is glee, happy with the way this match has started. The Voltorb channels this joy into a sudden burst of vivid yellow-green energy from within. The attack deals respectable damage against Jinso who tumbles backward in a daze. Pulling himself to his feet, Jinso begins gnashing his jaws and growling like a feral dog. The sonic eruption from this attack sends HLFP rolling back into a wall. All of a sudden, the Ball Pokemon feels its stats take a turn for the worse.
Jinso: <-7 HP; -4 EP>
HLFP: <-6 HP; -5 EP; -1 SpA>
Eat Swift! HLFP does a little spin on the spot, unleashing a brilliant array of super-sharp stars that hone in on Jinso with impeccable accuracy. They slice up the doggy quite well, causing Jinso to bring out the big guns. Opening wide, he cuts loose with a crackling gout of flames. Yikes! The Voltorb all but melts after that super-hot strike, but manages to keep it together.
Jinso: <-5 HP; -8 EP>
HLFP: <-10 HP; -4 EP>
Suddenly, the generator boots up and shoots a jolt of electricity down the wires lying like an upturned bowl of spaghetti on the ground. In a mad scramble, our two battlers each find nearby wires to leap upon. As the electricity courses through their bodies, both Jinso <+10 EP> and HLFP <+10 EP> feel their energy levels take a turn for the better. However, the Toxic suddenly kicks in, and Jinso <-3 HP> winces as his health suddenly does the opposite.
‡ Post-Round ‡
Notes:
> At 0 EP, Pokemon will begin to lose 1 HP for every 2 EP they consume
> Damage incurred by Toxic increases by 2 each round
> HLFP’s Hidden Power type is Bug and will remain as such for the duration of the match
> TEAM CYNDER to command next

Ahh nooo! I didn't see the commands for last turn TT.TT I wouldn't have used toxic otherwise, and wouldn't have bothered with the subs either... Ahh well, these things happen, it was my own fault for skimming the post and not paying attention.
Right, it's on. Swagger to confuse the poke ball wannabe, then bat it around with Iron Tail. Finish with Double Edge. If it attempts to stop/ deflect any of the attacks, use Light Screen instead
Love seeing you ref again Oslo.
Seeing as you have to be looking at the opponent for Swagger to effect you, close your eyes and use Flash. Next use Substitue(med) and finish with Sucker Punch
Happy to be reffing again!

‡ Round 2 ‡
As the next round begins, Jinso decides to act like the big dog on campus by puffing himself up and strutting around. HLFP retaliates by… shutting its eyes? Simple, but effective. With his Swagger rendered completely ineffective but this little tactic, Jinso deflates a little bit and mutters. Giggling as only Voltorbs can, HLFP then amps things up (get it? har har) by letting off a blinding Flash of light. Jinso howls as his Accuracy is quickly compromised.
Jinso: <-4 EP; -1 Acc>
HLFP: <-2 EP>
HLFP looks around and finds a pair of pliers sitting in the corner. Excellent! With that, he decides this will make an excellent Substitute. Jinso, unable to direct his attack anywhere else, strikes at the pliers with his tail which is now enveloped in a silver glow. The pliers take the hit, but it’s not a big one by any means. Friggin’ disadvantageous typing.
Jinso: <-8 EP>
HLFP: <-15 HP; -5 EP; Sub: 10 HP>
The two fighters exchange their next set of moves with great vigour. HLFP rolls toward its foe at a breakneck pace, Dark energy enveloping its entire frame. It collides with Jinso, sending the Electrike tumbling backward. In retaliation, Jinso growls and leaps upon the pair of pliers. All of a sudden, they break in half from the impact. Jinso: 1; Substitute: 0.
Jinso: <-8 HP; -10 EP>
HLFP:: <-6 EP; Sub: Broken!>
Without warning, the generator boots up again. What luck! Just like last time, both Pokemon scramble to find a wire. They’re successful, taking joy in the massive surge of electricity that shocks a little extra life into both Jinso <+10 HP> and HLFP <+10 HP>. However, the former loses half of that boost to the Toxin coursing through his veins <-5 HP>.

‡ Round 3 ‡
With both competitors’ health levels roughly even, it’s still anybody’s match. Hoping to turns the tables, HLFP scrunches up its eyes and lets out an absolutely odious Screech. Jinso grunts, feeling the sound resonate through his every bone. He puts a sudden end to the racket by toasting that jerky little Pokeball alive with a second bout of flames. Does anyone care for their Voltorbs a little crispy?
Jinso: <-8 EP; -2 Def>
HLFP: <-10 HP; -4 EP>
With Jinso’s defences compromised, HLFP figures now is the perfect time to strike! He rolls forth rapidly and collides with the Electrike. All of a sudden, crackles of electricity flare up. They travel from Jinso to HLFP, causing the Pokeball to go rigid. Not good. Pleased with his opponent’s Paralysis, Jinso unleashes a brilliant flash of electricity that zaps HLFP lightly while increasing the thunder doggy’s ranged prowess.
Jinso: <-12 HP; -3 EP; +1 SpA>
HLFP: <-5 HP; -6 EP; Par>
HLFP tries to roll in for a second strike, but the Paralysis seems to make this attempt futile. Overjoyed by HLFP’s sudden moment of weakness, Jinso marches up and calmly surrounds the Voltorb with those pointy Electrike fangs. As he begins to exert pressure, a second jolt of electricity materializes, this time passing from HLFP to Jinso. All of a sudden, Jinso feels his muscled affected by the same Paralysis that appears to be afflicting his enemy. D’oh.
Jinso: <-6 EP; Par>
HLFP:: <-8 HP; Can’t move!>
This time the generator remains silent. However, Jinso is most definitely not: he whimpers loudly as the Toxin continues to ramp up in strength <-7 HP>.

‡ Round 4 ‡
As the next round begins, HLFP shoots forth to deliver another hard-hitting Dark-type tackle. The attack connects with its target perfectly, sending poor Jinso stumbling backward until he trips over a wire and lands on the hard ground. Ouch. The little Electrike retaliates with a Flamethrower, roasting that pesky little Voltorb with every ounce of strength he can muster.
Jinso: <-12 HP; -8 EP>
HLFP: <-12 HP; -6 EP>
HLFP decides to go in for seconds, but Paralysis locks up the poor Voltorb before it can roll forward even an inch. Jinso barks laughter. Hah! The thunder doggy opens wide to cut loose with yet another Flamethrower, but remains immobile. Uh… damn. Looks like someone laughed too soon.
Jinso: <Can’t move!>
HLFP: <Can’t move!>
Shaking itself free of that pesky Paralysis, HLFP goes in for another Sucker Punch. He manages to deliver this time around, causing significant damage once again what with the poor Electrike’s compromised defences. Jinso tries for another Flamethrower but the attack goes wide, roasting a spare toolbox to smithereens. Jinso rolls his eyes. Friggin’ Accuracy reduction.
Jinso: <-12 HP; -8 EP>
HLFP: <-6 EP>
After a round of silence, the generator comes to life. Both spring on nearby wires, receiving a jolt of health. Jinso <+10 HP> and HLFP <+10 HP> cheer. Of course, as expected, the sudden surge of pain brought on by Jinso’s affliction cuts his celebration short <-9 HP>.

Mirrior Coat any Status
Get revenge for the last round with Hidden Power to see what type you get. If you get ground type use it again, if not use Charge and Discharge.

‡ Round 5 ‡
With things starting to sway in HLFP’s favour, Jinso realizes the need to get his head in the game and kick some imitation Pokeball ass! However, before he can strike, HLFP once again uses that Sucker Punch move of which he’s become so fond. The rapid strike sends Jinso tumbling back into the generator, but the Electrike persevere. Tapping some wellspring deep within, Jinso unleashes a sparkling burst of energy. The flash is both red and blue in colour and deals reasonable damage to HLFP, but, judging by the Electrike’s frown, it wasn’t as much as he’d been hoping.
Jinso: <-12 HP; -5 EP>
HLFP: <-9 HP; -6 EP>
It’s HLFP’s turn to go for a Hidden Power! A second eruption of green-yellow energy dazzles Jinso unpleasantly. No, he doesn’t look like he’s about to take this shit. Closing his eyes, Jinso begins trying to Charge energy and… uh… is it working? He’s just standing there as stiff as a statue. Hrm… that looks less like a Charge and more like Paralysis to me. Tough luck, pup!
Jinso: <-6 HP; Can’t move!>
HLFP: <-5 EP>
Time for another Sucker Punch! Clobbered by that speedy move, Jinso tumbles backward. Gosh, you really do a lot of tumbling, don’t you? Your poor neck! Jinso lets loose with a massive Discharge of electricity that doesn’t do a whole lot of damage to his Voltorb foe.
Jinso: <-12 HP; -6 EP>
HLFP:: <-6 HP; -6 EP>
The generator comes to life again and both Jinso and HLFP bound toward the nearest wire. However, Paralysis kicks in for poor HLFP and the Voltorb is left immobile mere inches from an exposed wire. No! Jinso, however, bounds upon one successfully and is treated to another burst of health <+10 HP>. The Toxin, stronger than ever before, then aggravates the poor Electrike’s tummy <-11 HP>.

Okay Jinso, you did well. But I really wanna win this, so use rest. Take a nice break. Use Sleep Talk whilst you're asleep, and if you wake up use rest again.
Im sorry rival. But you arent going to win this.

‡ Round 6 ‡
Okay, nap time! Jinso yawns and curls up for a well-deserved Rest, but just as he’s on the cusp of sleep, HLFP begins badgering the Electrike with some rather nasty insults. What’s that, HLFP? You don’t think he’d be strong enough to power a lightbulb if he tried? How rude! Just like that, Jinso finds himself too darn angry to sleep. Can you blame him? He bounces forth and lashes out at HLFP with a simple physical tackle.
Jinso: <-1 EP; Tnt>
HLFP: <-2 HP; -4 EP>
Suddenly, Jinso begins rolling around the place at high speeds. Taking aim, the Voltorb sets its sights on Jinso and collides with the Lightning Pokemon. Ouch! In retaliation, Jinso takes a sweat at HLFP, but the move doesn’t do much.
Jinso: <-7 HP; -1 EP>
HLFP: <-2 HP; -2 EP>
At this point in time, HLFP is still rolling and has built up a healthy bit of momentum. However, Paralysis brings a sudden end to this assault and he immediately stops on the spot. Jinso recognizes this as an opportunity to strike and goes for another minor blow.
Jinso: <-1 EP>
HLFP: <-2 HP; Can't move!>
Jinso looks at the generator hopefully, fully aware he’ll need a boost of health to make it to the next round. However, the big ol’ machine remains silent. Suddenly, the Toxic poisoning is too much: this time, as it wracks the Electrike with pain <-2 HP>, it brings him down once and for all.

Woot!
Aww... I lost one... Anyway, do we get the points now or at the end of the battle?
I'll send out my male Braviary Aikoku with Defiant ability. Remember him Darth? =D
I choose Cootie, my female Togetic. @Serene Grace
The battle will occur high above a rocky canyon. Your Pokemon begin in flight and are not allowed to land for any reason, including to Roost. Numerous rings are suspended in the air, earning your Pokemon either 10 HP or 10 EP at random should they choose to fly through one (at the expense of an action). If that weren't enough, Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres are circling the canyon! At the end of every round they might attack without warning, either to harm to to engender some other kind of effect (Mist, Sunny Day, etc.).
Sweeeeeeet.
Alright, T Wave first. Then Ancientpower. Finish with Shock Wave.
Any DTeam's, use Shock Wave right away.
If for any reason, you are Taunted, change Twave to Shock Wave.
Status's use Mirrior Coat
Wait until you're paralysed, and use Facade. And then use Rock Slide twice. Hell yeah.
HAHAHAHA
What you laughting at? T Wave is thunder wave, right?
yeah it is. i was laughing cuz you were so happy about your moves idk dont mind me
I love turning peoples moves against them. It makes me feel all fuzzy inside, 'ya know?
I love the fuzz!
