Hello everyone and welcome to The Workshop. I will be the first one to admit, I am not that great at drawing. However I do think I do a pretty good job at making things. So I would like everyone else who is awesome at crafting things to come show off their creations, or works in progress in order to get some feedback.

You can showcase anything from a small trinket to a grand costume finished or unfinished. Let me start the party off with some of my current works in progress.

Well I don't think I would call myself a carpenter. Here is the next update with glue setting and the time piece put into place after some sanding.

Now make a wooden replica of Majora's Mask itself. That's worth, like, a billion awesome points.

Great art! After all these years, Crazy Elf Boy still manages to surprise me. Both the Zelda stuff and the laser rifle are sweet. Looking forward to more!

Alright the Clock is finished. The painting has been completed and I have put it up luckily the time piece keeps time well, I was afraid that some of the cogs may have melted from the glue. But luckily it all works well, stay tuned for some more crafting.

Unfortunately that took me a long time to make, so unless someone is willing to pay like $200 for that I don't think I could make much money from it. But I think I might make another couple for gifts.

Wait how the fuck did you fit a clock in that thing? Doesn't that require... non-wooden parts?

Well this might answer your question Blade, the clock mechanism itself is just from a shitty clock bought at a $2 store. I glue it on the back and drilled a hole through to the front and added the hands.

Alright I think my next awesome project will be a Forest Temple plant box or Majora's Mask.

Alright I have started designing the forest temple but for now I have done a first coat on the Laser Rifle as well as cut out the pieces for the chest.

Not really important, but you should rename this place. Like the WOODshop or Sawmill, Lumberyard, etc.. Most folks equate Fanart to just drawings and such; it'd be a shame for people to pass up this kind of quality because of a misunderstanding.

Also put some of your smaller/cheaper stuff on Etsy or Artscow whatever craft site is popular now. People pay good money for trinkets, y'know.

Ok more updates on the treasure chest

This is it all coming together with the gluing and clamping.


It was about here that I almost went insane because if you have a good look at the front you will notice that the top of the lid hangs over significantly so after a quick trip to Bunnings for more plywood and then some calm down Mcdonalds I got the wood sawed up and glued on.


Here is that wood being clamped down.


After some much needed sanding here is it is ready to be painted.


Painting it black on the inside so its contents will stand out.


Started on the staining so it looks like some awesome chest.

Ok now I am thinking I will need a bigger chest to hold all my work stuff because my current cabinet isn't doing the job well enough. Does anyone have any suggestions, my current thinking is the spiked chest from Windwaker but I am willing to listen to suggestions. Remember they don't have to be from the Legend of Zelda series.

Model it after one of the big item chests from Twilight Princess.

Any of the big ones, really. Like, your smaller chest is the one that makes this noise, and the new big one makes THIS noise.

One of the other thoughts that I had was the gun chests from Borderlands as they are fairly flat and would hold tools well.

Yes Becki we should play Borderlands some time. But I think that my new design for the chest shall be a Borderlands chest. Now I just need to draw up plans.

My current long term project in the works is the Tier 2 Paladin armour from WoW or more commonly known as Judgement. I have been working on some designs and here are my sketches for your viewing pleasure.

What'll this be made of? Wood historically makes poor armor.

It is only for a cosplay so it will be constructed of foam with a thin metal sheet on the top for the gleam and sound.
