Default Looked all over, still can't find it

    K. I went through a real brain lapse as of late. I just need a swift clarification on a few things-most pertaining to Haze

I know Haze negates all stat modifications. I knew that much. But I then got this off a site in my search for just EXACTLY what Haze counters and I find this...

    Haze

Haze removes all status changes, and confusion, as well as stat modifications, from both Pokémon. Also, from both Pokémon, Haze removes the effects of:

Leech Seed, Toxic (Doesn't increase any more, becomes regular poison), multi-turn attacks, Mean Look/Spider Web, Curse, Nightmare, Attract, Conversion/Conversion2, Disable, Encore, Focus Energy, Foresight, Mind Reader/Lock-On, Mimic, Perish Song, Transform, Defense Curl

o_O Clear that up for me, my brain is fried. I know Heal Bell smacks all Stat AFFLICTIONS away, so that's already gone. I know Rapid Spin pwns Spikes and Leech Seed-among others, so yeah kick that way too. But for like Focus Energy, Charge, all of that-Haze pwns it?

    2) In 2 vs 2, does Brick Break shatter the Light Screen/Reflect for a WHOLE TEAM or for one member of the two on two battle?

Yeah, thanks alot for whoever answers *Gives cookies*

Haze ONLY neutralizes stat changes (both yours and your opponents), nothing else.

I think he got that from a R/B/Y FAQ,because that was the effect of Haze in the ancient games - it removed all conditions, both good and bad. Luckily, the guys over at the big N realized the cheapness of that whole thing and changed it so that only stat alterations were removed by Haze.

Of course not. Because that'd suck really, really hard. Unfortunately, even though you didn't think about it, this guy did.

It would be a good idea not to look at that site for your information if what they gave for Haze is any indication.

Yes, in RBY Haze altered the opposing pokemon's status condition to Normal. However, it did nothing for the using pokemon's status condition. It also never affected Toxic or multi-turn moves at all in RBY.

In subsequent games, including RS, it only returns stats modifications of all pokemon to the starting level. It does this regardless of any protections that any pokemon has.

As to #2: there is only one Reflect/Light Screen covering a whole team. When it is destroyed, it doesn't protect either pokemon.

EDIT: Left out a word. Oops.

    Default Synplicity.

Yeah, Brick Breaks destroys the sheild for the entire team. Good times.

It didn't. Neither did Mean Look, Curse, Nightmare, Attract, Conversion2, Encore, Foresight, Mind Reader, Lock-On or Perish Song. Perhaps Haze was able to stop some or all of these in GSC but cannot in RS? Can anyone check this (and I mean personally verify, not just quote some other FAQ which might also be wrong?)

Haze does the exact same thing in RBY and GSC. It's just that in RBY, Roar/WW were haxed and didn't do crap. In GSC, it can be used to p-haze. No p-hazing in RBY means Haze is the only thing stopping stat boosters.

I don't know any way to state this without being insulting in some way, so I won't. You're wrong.

The effects are different in RBY and GSC. They are the same in GSC and RS, though (at least as close as they can be since there are now Abilities thrown into the mix).

As to what Poryhedron wants, I have personally used Haze in RBY and had it remove the opposing pokemon's status condition while leaving it on my pokemon (useful when you want to inflict a worse status condition). I've also personally been in a battle where it was used by the opponent and it removed the Leech Seed on the pokemon I was using. Azure Heights' page also lists Haze as taking out a couple of other defensive barriers, but I have not personally experienced this, so I cannot provide verification. Their reputation, however, does speak about the reliability of their information.

Further on about Poryhedron's request: The functionality of Haze is unchanged from GSC to RS. It is exactly as I noted in my previous response in this topic. I have done the Research for this and I am well aware of exactly what the move can do.

Taking a second look at that listing that started this, I think I can see what happened. The not-so-bright person who wrote that up lumped in things could be removed by Pseudo-Hazing along with Haze.

Well, actually, I was asking about testing whether Haze removes those extra things in GSC, but your pseudo-hazing hypothesis does make sense.
