Name: Kayla
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Looks: Lookie hereee...
Personality: Rather deep, Kayla tends to be a daydreamer and think about a lot of things other then the present. However, she's very loyal and kind to even complete strangers who haven't been rude or mean to her. Very trusting of people as a whole. However, when confronted by some one who threatens either her friends or family, she'll get fiercely protective and very 'you've gotten yourself into a big mess' additude. She can take the lead when no one else will, but she's the best 'second hand' person ever. A great, loyal and trustworthy follower who you can count on to keep as many secrets as you have. Great to go to for advice, for she has an unbiased view of things.
Other: She lives with her Grandfather, since her parents passed away in an accident which she chooses really not to disclose. Her Grandfather runs a resturant, an Italian Resturant, and she lives above the restuarant and works at it almost every day afterschool during the weekdays. Has a 15 year old brother named Brendan, who she looks out for a lot. Also, although she doesn't really have many pokemon, she does have a pet Umbreon named Shade, who was given to her as an Eevee by her Grandfather as a present for her 13th birthday.

"Miss, excuse me but I didn't order this-"
"Ma'am, check please?"
"Kayla! Kayla! In here- quick!"
"Ack!" Kayla fell over, tripping and spilling three glasses of water onto the carpet.
Lucky it was water..
Was the first thought that entered Kayla's mind. She quickly picked up the glasses, and from her skirt took the reciept and gave it to the fat, impatient man. She then took the order from the lady on table number 2, and nodded.
"Be right with you!"
Then she dashed back into the kitchen, setting the 'not wanted' dish down and throwing the glasses into the full-watered kitchen sink.
"Kayla... we're short handed... uh, I know you've missed school recently but-"
"Yes Grandfather, I'll work today."
He nodded solemnly, and walked away to cook some more. Sighing, Kayla felt her temples almost pound out of her head as she found the correct order for the lady. She was just about ready to head out again, until she turned her head and was immediatly greeted by her brother- Brendan.
"OM-oh... Brendan! Hey! Shouldn't you be half way to school by now?"
Brendan rolled his eyes, as he shook his head almost like a mother would.
God, Brendan reminded her of mother... which was odd, but he did have her eyes.
"Shouldn't YOU becoming with?"
Kayla sheepishly sighed, still holding the dish in one hand upon a platter.
"Grandfather is short a worker today, he needs m-"
Brendan didn't seem to like this. Kayla had recently been skipping school a lot lately, to help with the resturant. Grandfather never had graduated high school... he had taken the resturant, part of the 'family' business. Brendan wasn't much of a resturant worker, he didn't like it and he wasn't really waitress material for that matter. Plus, Grandfather trusted no one but himself and Robert, the helper, with cooking. So, occasionally he did dishes... but other then that...
" Kayla, you really should come to school."
Kayla sighed, as she headed out towards the lady who was waiting impatiently for her food.
"I know... but you know how grandfather is..."
Kayla's confidence in herself was about as study as a piece of paper.
