So wait. If that IS true {hypothetically speaking} What happens when you revive that Pokemon that was KO'ed, and they get KO'ed again? Because if that's so...I'll simply tailor whom the ShadowLegendary fights so I won't have to worry about it.

But in actuality, I do not think that is true, mainly because the EV training does not begin until you actually snag the Pokemon and start deshadowfying it {if you use it against Trainers}

But yes, confirmation would be nice on this one.

The opponent doesn't get regular experience from defeating your Pokémon. Why should they earn any effort points?
