The Matrix Online Beta Testing opens

About time we saw a beta, even if it is private. 8)

The one thing that's pissed me off about this is the limits on where you need to live in order to sign up. Warner Bros have shot themselves in the feet now, because now they won't have a chance to test the latency of their servers under heavy load from across the world. More fool them. Didn't stop me putting my name down thugh. 8)

Is anyone here thinking of signing up?

Not impressed by the screen shots but then again it is alpha and it is an MMORPG.
Let's just hope it's a vast improvement on the previous game.

I agree with YAMI. Enter the Matrix sucked so unless this game is a helluva lot better I won't be wasting my time with it. Although, it is an MMORPG....hmm.

Comparisons to Enter the Matrix are inaccurate because:

A) It's an entirely different type of game.

B) A different publisher is working on it.

C) This game will have no deadline to be met (Enter the Matrix was rushed to conincide with the Matrix Reloaded's release).

I signed up last week. I don't think it's going to work, but I really want to see how they are handling certain issues.
