Age: 20
Gender: Male
Occupation: Illusionist/Magician (Slight-of-hand)
Appearance: He stands at about 5'11 with a slim build with fair skin. He has black, long spiky hair and wide eyes that have a sapphire iris. He wears a dark blue vest over a sky blue shirt (long-sleeved) and blue jeans with green sneakers. He also has a 'belt-cape,' an article of clothing that seems to act as a cross between the two. Personalty: Cheerful and upbeat, Eugene is a very friendly person. Quite nerdy, quick-to-learn, and very eager to do so. Eugene is dense at times, unable to understand what is going on with other people. He likes tricks and illusions, but doesn't try to harm anyone (physically or emotionally), preferring the old magician's tricks. Eugene can be serious, and is also a very caring character. Tends to be klutzy at times (unless doing his magic tricks)
History: Eugene grew up in the Northern Continent with a sense of imagination, inspired by his father's adventures as a tamer. Eugene grew a taste for whimsy and wonder, which lead to his interest in 'magic'. Somehow, he managed to self-teach many of the tricks he performed. He later, at the age 14, obtained the Water dragon Tiamat, and began to travel to find others who practiced the same trade as him. He later came across a monster called Chariot, a pegasus monster causing havok in the mountains. Tiamat quickly brought him down, and Chariot has been Eugene's companion ever since.

Other: Sometimes uses Tiamat and Chariot to perform his special effects.

"Okay," I smiled to Tiamat, "Is this your card?"
I didn't even need to look at the card in my hand, I knew it was the right card. I had practiced this trick for years until it almost became 2nd nature to me.
Tiamat nodded, a slight smile played across her face. If there was one thing I especially liked about Tiamat, it was that she could be amused by the same magic trick over and over.
"Alright," I said self-satisfactory, "I'm getting good. It's just a shame I can't practice any escapist tricks. It's not easy being a traveling magician."
Tiamat only nodded. She could talk, but didn't do it much. Chariot snorted behind me, his way of indicating that he was bored stiff.
"I know," I chuckled, "You don't care about magic; you just want to battle."
At this point I got serious, and sat down on a rock. I quickly pulled out a pencil and my notepad.
"Alright," I muttered, "According to the townsfolk, the Troll was last seen heading north. Hmm."
What started as a way to pay the bills, quickly became my full time job. The Western Continent was plagued by violent attacks from wild monsters. While I couldn't handle all of them, I was only supposed to scare away the major problems. I'd get paid depending on how big a problem the monster presented.
The troll in particular had been a major problem. It never attacked the towns directly, but kept raiding travelling parties and taking whatever they had. It caused a major trade shortage in a small town that I was currently resident of. Current attempts to subdue it have proven to fail.
I pulled out a map of the current area, and began drawing lines and marking places.
"Alright, according to reports, he always attacks roads near the same three towns. After, which he travels west from Irontown, south of Kairo, and north of our town."
Not like this was rocket science, everyone else knew this, too. I marked the three towns and then began to draw lines in their respective directions. At one point, the lines intersected. I drew a circle around the intersection.
"Okay," I muttered, "This area is most likely where he lives."
I began to examine the circle I made on the map.
"Hmm, there isn't a mountain range in that area. So what is the most likely place that he would use for home?"
Tiamat only shrugged, Chariot gave me that 'how should I know' look. I sighed and re-folded the map.
"Alright, let's head back into town. I'm sure the local sheriff knows if there are any caves or unused mines in that area."

So are you two in the Southern Continent or Western Continent? I can't really tell for sure.
