Default Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles...perfect for Pokemon players.

Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles is supposedly the best Final Fantasy game for a Pokémon player to have, because it's on the Gamecube and you don't have to switch between a PS2 and Cube when you want to play Final Fantasy or Pokémon Colosseum(although you WILL have to switch memory cards because of Colosseum's obscene habit of taking the whole card up ),and the GBA connectively is great for you Pokemaniacs - you and your Pokemon buddies tired of battling your Pokemon out on GBA? Well, put your teams away, plug into the Cube, and spend a nice refreshing evening wandering through caves(of course, have the one who's bushwhacked most by battling carry the chalice ).

The story is reminscent of a post-apolocyptic future - replace "miasma" with "radioactivity from nukes going off","crystals" with "radiation shields","myrrh" with "energy to run the shields" and "caravans" with "lead-plated collection crafts" and you have a grim future of the world after WWIII. Maybe it we hacked it to look like Earth and sent it to the world leaders, they will realize that weapons of mass destruction should be phased out. After all,we've already got tanks and guns and WWII militia-stuff!

(Sorry,I waxed political for a moment,it'll never happen again. )

The game is just great, beating up enemies while trying to avoid stepping out of the ring of protection, and if it doesn't kill your friendships,it just makes them stronger. Anyone want to sound off about this AWESOME game(which I will buy sell all my other games for )?

Of course not. Because that'd suck really, really hard. Unfortunately, even though you didn't think about it, this guy did.

I really liked FF:CC at first, by my friend was to much of a retard to ever look at his GBA screen, so whenever he had the map we were lost.

Good, but nothing for long-term replay. They also should've added more features to take advantage of the GBA.

It was a great first try. I hope that any future GBA/GC FF games will be enjoyable enough to play more than once.

    Things to consider:

-Being able to talk to do things while a player buy stuff is great, but not if merchants are on opposite sides of the towns. In the end, we still had to wait whenever a player wanted to buy something.

-Gear should be less tribe-oriented. Why can't we drop armor and crafting stuff for other players?

-Keep ALL information besides attack slots on the GBA. This will increase the team work required, while also cleaning up the screen.

-Magic was too hard to be useful. It was expontenially easier to just have two strong physical attackers beat the crap out of people. Magic took too much time and memorization for its effect. In most cases, Mages were just used to heal the party and work the crowd with various status effects. Also, I was a Magic user in the game, and yet Magic ended up being my worse stat at the end. How about a fourth item that increase Magic?

-Cure healed way to much. The only real purpose of food was for the stat boost. A Yuke can easily keep the party in good shape. The game was at its most fun when we we halfway in the level and still was missing Cure and Life.

It was fun until my friends decided to be total morons and sit around. Or try to push themselves out of the aura...
