Clan TPM on Starcraft: IMPORTANT INFORMATION

I plan to start on the 15th.

To signup, do this:

<planned Clan TPM account name>
<planned realm/server>
<planned area of expertise: Melee, etc. (for UMS players, specify type of map>

IF YOU PLAN TO ENTER FIELDS OUTSIDE OF UMS, LIKE MELEE, I WILL NEED A REPLAY ATTACHED SO I CAN LOOK AT YOUR PLAYING STYLE.

so, for example:

of course, i'm not going to head Melee. I will be heading UMS.

There will most likely be 4 heads: One for each Realm/Server. That's why I ask for your realm. I will pick 7 or so best replays or things to decide Departments:

Research – Experiments to find newer, awesomer strategies
Testing – Tests the new strategies
+MAPPERS – Test maps others made+
Melee – Most likely if you don’t get head and you want to be in Melee, you’ll end up just battling.
+LADDER – Subdivision of Melee – You fight Ladder battles in the name of TPM+
Mapmaking – Make maps in this subdivision
Used Map Settings – Pros at certain games will enter in here. Subdivisions will emerge based on map expertise
Teaching – Teach n00bs how to play, or vets new strategies or refinements to old ones
Refinement – Refine those old strategies to make them uber

If there’s not enough, I’ll just combine Departments into:

Research and Testing (includes Mapmaking and Refinement)
Melee
Used Map Settings
Teaching

Which means 4 Department Heads per server.

I’ll try to get to these as soon as possible, because of finals coming up time is a bit restricted.
If you feel you have the leadership to become Vice-Head, PM me with a “resume”, saying how you’re qualified. There will probably need to be a House Head and the Senate Head. When I’m out, the next is in charge. Then, if both are out, House, then Senate. If all Heads are out, I guess the last one before leaving will appoint a person in charge.

Last Message: If I get extremely bogged down (possible) Clan TPM may start later. I will keep you up to date on that in this thread, I hope. I may just contact Vice-Head and get them to post in my place. It may need to get started without me, though. I WILL INFORM YOU.

I don't actually have the game now because my friend who borrowed said he returned my copy and bought his own(yeah right). Etheir way I plan on getting a new copy of Star Craft and Brood war soon.

I mainly play Melee or UMS.

BTW, what kind of UMS map experts are you looking for, since they come in a variety of types:

Defence - Kill each wave of bad guy up to the final level.
Madness - You usually have a bunker and a respawning unit every second.

I can't think of any others at the moment, but those seem to be the most popular.

I am mainly tactical with Terran and Protoss. I'm not too keen on Zerg but I can use them too.

I'm also a pretty decent mapmaker.

Also, Dodge the Rapists experts, dodge games would be nice.

Perhaps FF is Final Fantasy? I saw a really good Final Fantasy map for Warcraft 3. Although it was a bit of a shame that it ended in an unbeatable giant child...

I guess I can join or something, but I barely will have any chances to play very many matches. My name is "Cor[S]air", I'm on USEast, and I usually play Melee...3vs3bgh and 2vs2lt mostly..yeah.

I'll try to get a replay up here sometime, have to find a good one. Also, having clan headquarters and "departments" is pretty gay, I would just scrap that idea altogether.
