They're all so cute! *puts on gloves, armor, full face helmet and goggles* Now then, *huggles the Poochies*
I was thinking, if you want to try it, I think it would look really good it you added some highlighting to your pokemon's fur/skin/whatever. (Not necessarily on this pic, maybe the next one...) I found a good way to highlight is: After you've put down the medium and dark colors, select the Brush tool, and put it on a fairly big setting (you'll be want to cover a lot of space) get a good highlighting color, and brush that color all over the spaces you want brightened. Don't worry about making it look like fur or fine streaks, we'll get to that later.
Once that's done, select your medium color again, and make the brush smaller, and then go back (you can use a new layer for this if you want) and carefully cut away at the bright parts until all that's left is what you want highlighted.
I've found this works best for me to get the right shape I want better that selecting or just using the brush tool. Also, you can get this really cool shimmery look that really gives the drawing a "professional" look.
Meh, you've been digital shading longer than me, so maybe you already know about this, I just think it would make your pics look (even) cooler. ^^;;
Keep up the good work, and say, are you gonna be able to make a new E-Zine cover? I sent you a PM about it earlier. If not let me know and I'll fix up the last one to use again.![]()
