Ahh nice breezy wind blowing on these plains. Its a great day for a battle. Crisp air, nothing polluted here. Except Chaos. He pollutes everything. Disregarding my comment, the veteran here takes on a newbie, jelibean. Fearlnessness is the game, as Jeli releases a phantom to counter act the mental Pokemon Chaos as thrown out. The top spins in a circle to equalize, thrown off as Jeli's Misdreavus fires a Shadowball!

Unperturbed by the first blow, Mind focuses, and causes a strange erraticness to encapsulate the pairing.

Mis: -7E ~~ Min: -7E/-18H

Misdreavus notes the energy expenditure, but is not sure of its effect.Mind quietly rotates, focusing. Not appreciating the lack of answers her, Missy strikes the top, but find her hit doesn't topple the top over.

Still perturned, Missy aims to barrel this Top, when suddenly he's the one struck with a Shadwball. The hyper spinning top finally stopped, as blades of grass fly around it from the release of that energy. Misdreavus bounces across the grassy plains for a moment, before rising back up.

He screams and shoots a Shadowball all his own to hit Mind, but Mind takes the strike in stride.

Rotaring slowly, Mind kept watch on the floaty ghost. They both had the same idea, rip each other to shreds-but neither knew the other's way of accomplishing this goal. So when the Shadowballs began flying out, there was no way for either to actually prepare for the blast except for firing in retaliation. Mind was first, but Missy was right on cue, speeing a pitch right after its was fired. Both Pokemon were struck, but Mind was a bit quick up on uptake

Mind fired a second one to try and rail Missy down. Missy took the blast and disseminated. His labored reappearance gave cause for alarm, until a counter blast was fired at Mind. It threw him across the field.

Displeased, Missy tried to fire one before Mind, but no. Mind was super fast right now. A third Shadowball to the face! He retaliated as such, leaving Mind hurting just as much.

Mind notes the critical state of affairs, and tries a different type of plan, even as Missy fires another Shadowball. The sphere connects and slams the top into a counter clockwise spin, but Mind takes that momentum and makes fun of the ghost, creating a false bravado that ticks the ghost off.

Missy screams in anguish, even though it was not in any visible pain. This pleased Mind, as he split into a few clones to try and survive this batallion of phantom power.

Satisfied, the triple threat of mental powers that be all aimed their shot. Missy didn't seem to care one bit though, as he stared them down.

The triple Shadowball struck Missy head on and he rolled in the air a few years, obviously not expecting that. In retaliation however, Missy flew off at the trio, and slammed onto to the ground. It disappeared, leaving Mind with two.

The abrasive ghosts howls in anguish, even as Mind decides its time to fall asleep. Both clones start to tick and tock in rhythm, but falling is the operative term. As Mind falls asleep, a Shadowball comes to liven things up! But ...I'm pretty sure that ghost is still confused. That hit was a lucky one, for sure.

Mis: -7E @_@ ~~ Min: -25E/+40H/-14H

Sleeping hard, Mind manages to control the ground the field is build upon. Ancient crag shoots up and they all stab at Missy. The headed phantom snaps free of her daze and rallies forth with another Shadowball. This hit strikes the top and causes it to skid backward, leaving a deep V-groove in the ground.

Mis: -7E/-8H ~~ Min: -4E/-13H

Still reaping the benefits from Trick Room, Mind lets forth another attack, and Missy hurls a Shadowball in retaliation. This time, it was a larger blast, one that rocketed upward, but had such an awkward mass that Missy was able to evade it! Mind however, had no chance to evade the Shadowball, and was nailed for the third time straight.

Teetering onto life, Mind grumbles as the phantom speeds over, ready to cripple it summore. Mud flies from the "hands" of this dreidle Pokemon-smacking into Missy. Missy flies backwards form the hit, but cries out as she does. The cry is deeply disturbing, to the point of inducing a Nightmare so severe it knocks Mind out.

Missy still notes the air tastes funny..but its wearing thin.

Chaos whips out a final Pokemon, and the smell...is overwhelming. But that's what to expect from a Muk! Missy is more than aggravated, and tried to wave it away with a Psychic wave, but a Shadowball strikes the floating gasmon first. Smilepot smirks, as Mis falls immediately.

The wavering faction of Trick room held just one more countenance for Jeli, as he whipped out a Bagon to join the battle. As soon as the youthful dragon came out, he was held in place, a red aura disabling him form motion. Slimebot smirked, as the dragon grunted and seethed.

Bag: -10E ~~ Sli: -6E

Releasing Bagon though, was not the brightest of ideas. As the strange air finally dissipated, Slime took its time to slide over to where Bagon was. He definitely smartened up by scoring a hit first, but then he left the disabled go! Bagon lied on the ground to recover from the chill, before he ran forward, roaring. That rocky head began to shimmer with energy, and the resulting Headbutt was nothing Slimebot was willing to take! Slime bot went flying, pieces of its sludge consistency splattering all around.

Bagon began stamping his foot, and without warning, went for a third attempt. The sound of a heavy force hitting a body of sludge was kinda disgusting, but Bagon fought though smell and consistency to hit Slime in his core. Slime went up again, but shifted its contents about to smack that dragon away with another Ice Punch.

Both of those are super-effective moves, with 5 points of power difference (75 vs 80). Neither have STAB... why is there such a large difference between the damage dealt?

The next time you use Power levels in the games to assert damage in my reffings, I'm going to stab you.

I don't use Power levels relative to game calc formulas. x_x I've told you this a thousand times. The Movelist doesn't take those into account actively (but if a move fits in with its ranking, then no harm no foul). Some moves are not going to fall within the same range as they would in the games. That's why some moves do more (or less) than you're used to.

Bagon grunted a tad, before committing himself fully to this round of attacks. He stamped his foot a few times before charging Slimebot down. Slimebot took the blow and made sure to deter itself against that type of hit. However, Bagon was more than eager to get away from Slimebot

Bagon reluctantly dashed in but that smell! That Smell knocked the Pokemon right on his face. As Bagon fought to get fresh air away from Slimebot, Slimebot focused on getting more and more elusive.

Bagon quits charging for the moment and locks himself in a sphere of clean filtered air, as Slimebot tries to bond with the dragon. Its no go as Bagon gleefully watches that spell waft away in the wind.
