    Default 100 Weeks (and counting...)

Finally reached 100 weeks since I started my Sapphire game. For the record, the space centre guy *can* count past 99

I hit 102 weeks on my Sapphire game!! I remember when the rumors were going around that something would happen (encountering Jirachi/Deoxys) at the Space Center or at the White rock outside of it after 100 weeks/rocket launches. I wonder how many weeks will go by before that guy stops keeping track. I wonder if he will go past 1000!! It will take a long time to find that out though. lol

OMG 100 weeks. You actually played your saphhire for 24,000 hours. It only came out like just over 100 weeks ago. Do you keep your SP on overnight on charge with the game in or something. It just doesn't make sense to me.

The rumour was 202 weeks because that's Deoxys Hoenn Pokedex number.

The clock inside the game keeps working even when it's switched off.

No, the cart's clock keeps track of how many weeks since you started the save. It has nothing to do with how many hours you play per week. I've played more than 1000 hours, but I doubt if I've played more than 2000 (can't give an exact figure because the "hours played" display stops at 999:59). I'm playing less than 10 hours a week these days.

1000 weeks would take over 19 years to achieve. I somehow doubt the internal battery is able to last quite that long...

Alright, I thought the rocket launched every 168 hours (1 week) of play. Sorry. I must have misread when I was learning about it.

It would not surprise me at all if the maximum number of launches was 255, which would take nearly five years.

You never actually see a rocket launch. There's just this guy in the Station that says "Well, that's 17 successful launches so far", or whatever.

Yeah, it probably stops at 255. Or, if they really want to feel special, after 255 it goes back to 0. Lol.

I don't see why it would stop at 255. That is just the number square uses for max stats.

255 is FF in hex coding so that's the maximum two digit number in hexidecimal.
