I have seen a lot of Sunday adds that with the reservation of Emerald, customers get a free Frontier Battle Pass. What exactly is this, an e-card or something?

I am not exactly sure, I can't find out anything on the internet about it yet. I haven't gotten out to preorder my Emerald game yet, as I have been really sick again over the weekend. I will probably go out tomorrow or Thursday to preorder it, and I can let you know what all (if anything) that I get for preordering. I would guess that a Frontier Battle Pass Trainer's Guide would just be a little book explaining the Battle Frontier. As far as I know, you don't need anything special in Emerald to get into the Battle Frontier, you are supposed to be able to get the Frontier Pass at the Battle Frontier.

Here's what I know from my Nintendo Power:
"Pokemon lovers who pre-purchase Emerald will not only have a copy reserved for them for the launch, they will also immediately receive a special emerald-hued tim that they can use to house both the Game Boy Advance SP and the game. Inside the case, Trainers will find the Frontier Battle Pass (a special introduction to Emerald) and an online I.D. card that will allow them access to exclusive content at a special website. Each I.D. card will have a unique PIN that people can enter when registering for the Pokemon Emerald online competition (See below).
To help kick off the launch of Pokemon Emerald, Nintendo is holding a nationwide online competition. Pokemon pros will be able to show off their expert knowledge of the Pokemon from Hoenn. Entrants who purchase Pokemon Emerald will receive special recognition, but the contest is open to everyone in the United States and Canada (excluding Quebec). Just like the Battle Frontier in Pokemon Emerald, the US/Canada will be divided into 7 "frontiers," and the most talented Trainers from each region will be rewarded with a trip to the finals in Seattle, Washington (known as the Emerald City). Participants will be quizzed on their ability to recognize Pokemon, as well as their types, strengths and weaknesses. The winner of the final competition to be held in Seattle will be crowned the nation's top Frontier Brain and will win an all-expense-paid trip to the Pokemon theme park in Japan. Stay tuned to pokemon-games.com for more details."
Wow, a lot of typing.....I will be participating and pre-ordering Emerald. I'm really more interested in the tin for now (Looks cool.), but I hope I do well at the contest!
Hope this was of some help!

Will all these bonuses be exclusive to the US and Canada? I wouldn't mind a big green tin ....
That's all that I know. It's word for word what was in the Nintendo Power. I'm sure if you watched www.pokemon.com it would have something on other countries!

Sorry for double posting, but I didn't see the need to start a new thread. I also didn't want to edit my last post cause it wouldn't show my new problem.
Anyways, I went to Circuit City yesterday and reserved 2 copies of Emerald. One for me and one for my friend. I then tried to go online and register. It kept bringing up an error report with this message: The server encountered an internal error () that prevented it from fulfilling this request. I figured maybe it was a problem where if I came back later it would work. I then tried the practice test which was a breeze, and tried again. It did the same thing. (One thing I noticed is that it didn't have a box for me to plug in my State/Province or my favorite Pokemon, but it had the title just like e-mail and initials...) Anyways, does anyone have any suggestions. I also can't get to the leader boards.
Thanks in advance for any help.
