Sorry, was busy watching anime all day long today (ey, its a holiday), then some guys came over to fix our windows, then I was busy playing mini golf with my bros.

Anyway, I can't really remember my matches too well other than the last two. The first two must've been too easy.

    Round 3: Metagross
He had both the new metagross AND metagross EX. I won the first round with a little bit of luck, putting the gross stuff to sleep with either wiggly or swampert before finishing them off His attacks were pretty strong, but I pulled through.

Next game was tough. He set up much faster than me and had his energy attached long before I could even get out wiggly and swampert. I tried putting him to sleep, but his attacks were like in the 100s, so I lost.

Strangely, the 2nd round made me aware of his weakness, glaring too. I started out quick, spplying sleep as many times as I could while building up my pkmn. I also got ready swampert EX on my bench, the only pkmn that could match his attack power. He had his metagross with two metal, but was damaged and on the bench, as was mine. Anyway, the sleep did the trick, so I did the old switcharoo technique to weaken him until he was forced to send out metagross EX. He had 70 damage on him, and my swampert EX could already do 80, but I just kept quiet. He sent it out and attacked me for 50. Then I said:

"Hey, you know I only need 80 to kill you?"

    "Then I'll attach another metal."

"And I can attach another water. But more than that, look at the bottom left corner of your card. See that brown circle?"

Um, just so you guys know, swampert EX is a fighting type

    But...

    Round 4: DK dragonite/electrode/pidgeot
It was only in this round did I taste the reality of how weak a 1-day old deck actually is. I hardly got the chance to evolve in the first game, and only managed one marshtomp in my 2nd.

Damn, I hate the deck. Haven't won against it EVER.

    Anyway:

    Pkmn(20)
    4 mudkip
    2 marshtomp
    4 swampert
    1 swampert EX
    3 jiggly
    3 wiggly EX
    3 dunsparce

    Trainers(24)
    3 POR
    3 copycat
    2 steven
    2 bill maintenance
    2 celio
    1 LPS
    2 warp point
    4 candy
    2 briney
    1 energy recycle system
    2 smthng I forgot

    16 water

So, yeah. Pretty bad shape, I was pretty surprised it actually got me 2nd place. Anyway, I might keep this, or plan a blastoise EX deck. I found a place with easy bait with tourneys every saturday with a pkmn EX (your choice) as the prize. Worth getting.

Since the big man did his report,
His fellow friend (me) should do mine too...

It was a hot day, i arrived late, League was squeezy, 30+ ppl...
    Wow!!

But States was the big deal...

over 40 people came up to participate, nevertheless, 11-14 the most.

I wasn't pretty confident with my venture, since i lost with this deck last City's.
I did a little more tuning the past week.. after some one week of no playing.

    1st round
VS Crobat EX, Crobat, Shendinja(DX), Ninjask
Woo.. i remember this match all too well...
I could only fight with my Pidgeot.. and that was really bad...
Couldn't put up much of a fight...
Especially when Desmond said "Pester"... KO...

    Lost...

    2nd round
    VS Dark Steelix, Dark Slowking
He's just a kid.. but had lots of heart in his deck...
I head he came only last week for the unlimited tournament..
In case u dun noe why he fought me, he lost a match against RoarKiller a few moments ago...

He's Onix evolved practically in the 2nd turn.. with a Wally's training..
But he din have a good drawing tech.. a couple of TV reporters.
But his idea of bringing back Dark Energy with an R energy was great!
Thats why he killed one of my Attacker in the 1st round in two turns.
I i ramed him with 2 Dark Energies in a few turns before I devolved him.
Thats how the 1st match ended.

The veteran was watching the 2nd match (one of our best players)
The Player started out with Dark Steelix again, and this time with a Dark Slowking in the 3rd turn.
I did enough damage on both Pokémon before i devolved it for a 2nd win.

    Win...

    3rd round against Jess
VS Rocket's Raikou EX, Zapdos EX, Dark Electrode, Dark Sandslash
    This is so cool...
Haven't seen jess in action since Nationals 2004?
Thought he made a few tweeks in his old deck and would fight with the same deck.
When we were paired up, we both were chatting all the time...
And this was deemed a Professor Battle by all the people!!!
First Match was chatting, I threw out my Tyranitar, and Ampharos....
I regretted sacrificing my Dark Ampharos to lure his Dark Electrode out..
That was where i threw my Dark Energies.. All of them.
Thats was when Jess drew his last prize.. or rather, i benched out.
2nd Match became serious.. as many people around us were finished and looking at our match..
I pulled some weird tricks like Desert Ruins on Jess..
He had his 2 Rocket's Raikou EX on the Bench... How fun!!..
Desert Ruins laid there for some time before he pulled out the R's Hideout.
    But the damage was done.
He sent out his Zapdos EX while i had a Dark Ampharos come out after that..
He din notice that his Zapdos was afraid of Lightning.. Ram did 30 + 20(wif dark) and became 100 with weakness...
A Desert ruins did the trick and i drew my 2 prizes..
The match went on with Dark Sandslash tricking me into attacking.
I ATM a few times before i made one of Jess's Dark Electrode faint...
I finally won it before it almost timed out.
    3rd match was sudden death.
    Rocket's Raikou EX versus Larvitar...
    How fun!!
Jess attached Lighting for 2 turns.
I light punched him... 20 damage.
2nd turn... attach 2nd dark energy
I light punched him... 20 damage.
    3rd turn... attach Fight energy
    Double Tackle 60 damage
Plus i laid out my Deset Ruins.. It did the trick... (Jess had an energy crisis on turn three)
    KO..

    Match Win..

    4th round against Jess's friend,
VS Rocket's Raikou EX, Rocket's Sneasel EX, Dark Electrode, Dark Dragonite
I felt that this was a similar deck at 1st when he said so.. until the 1st match.
He threw out an Dark Electrode... dish out his 2nd dark energy from his deck before bringing out his Rocket's Sneasel EX.. Briniey-ed the Electrode.. while his D-D-nite took the Dark Energy to the Sneasel...
whum... knocked out my 1st Pokémon.
His deck was pretty nicely formed.. with the huge expensive EXs lying around...
I began to use my Pidgeot to do some blocking while i built up my Dark Ampharos, and Dark Tyranitar.
Dark Tyranitar came out while i laid my 4th Dark Energy.
I put out a Desert Ruins 2 turns before... all were badly damaged besides 90 HP Sneasel.
Then i knocked out two EXs (Sneasel and Raikou) and two Darks (Electrode and Dragonair)

The 2nd Match was not bad... cause it looked like a Joe vs Jess 3rd match rerun...
It was a Mareep vs R's Raikou EX though...
He fell for the same trick while i built up 4 ATMs in hand.
I laid out my D T-Tar, Desert Ruins...
And began to ATM-ing while i did serious damage to an almost fully weakness to Fighting Deck.(besides Dark D-nite)

    Round Won

Pretty fun time, since i get to slay many EXs...
and clinched a 3rd.. for once.
RoarKiller got a 2nd, pretty huge feat...
The winner was 2nd time running winner from City's..
Won a few boosters, contended for the moment...

Guess I retire for a while, while i school.
PS: RoarKiiller, where's the shop with winning EXs?
    PS: Roarkiller,
    2 smthng I forgot
    They are OAK's Research...
Guess u tore ur deck apart again...
I filled up that deck list..
    remember?

No, I got POR up on the top of the list. I always list my drawing and search cards on top.

Anyway, don't bother going to that place I mentioned. They play unlimited, and half the time play without weakness/resistance. Not much for practice. But its near Hougang Mall, if you're wandering.

Btw, I didn't bother checking my deck what the 2 cards were because like I said, a deck 1-day old isn't really worth anything, and you can tell by that deck list. If I had more time to prepare, I could probably give that dragonite deck a run for its money.

Right now, I'm going for speed and power, see if it works for me as it did for unlimited. After that, I'm diving into removals.

In any case, Nationals is mths away.
