    Default Guts and Rest?

Can anyone tell me if using Rest will trigger the Guts ability? And if a Pokemon with Guts has had it activated(paralyzed, burened, poisoned, etc..) Would using Rest deactivate Guts?
What do you think of people who call themselves airheads?

Guts will be activated if you use Rest because you have the Sleep status. If you had another status and used Rest Guts would still be active as long as you're asleep.

So does that mean Guts will deactivate once you wake up?

Yes as it's only active while you have a status.

What pokemon could actually make much use of that though? This could be a good strategy if used right I'd suppose.

Ursaring can learn Sleep Talk as an egg move; Machamp and Hariyama with the Emerald move tutor. Swellow can also learn it that way, but is probably not robust enough to be suitable for the strategy.

So... plenty of decent candidates to try the trick out with...
