After much deliberation and the wonders of science, IE: Coin Toss, please observe the following announcements...

Razor Leaf shall be using Nincada (f) named Sharp Edge and Bellsprout (f) named RaZoR

Darkest Light shall be using Tyrouge and Pidgey no names (Also, I deleted your PM before getting the genders, please tell me again, my apologies.)

Arena shall be an Abandoned Corn field
The battle will begin in a perfect 20 x 20 foot cut out portion of the field which is directly in the middle. You are surrounded by corn needing to be harvested. In the distance an old barn sits, as well as old farm equipment. Also in the center with you is a ratty old scarecrow with what else...Murkrow perched watching that battle. If the scarecrow is stuck in anyway, the Crows will attack, and which each attack, more will gather until there are to many to fight, you have been warned. Getting lost in the corn is also a possibility, watch each others backs...

Dark Light attacks 1st, Razor Leaf follows, etc..

Vigil, let's start this right. we're going to need a Quick Attack on that Bellsprout. Follow that up with a Rain Dance, and then use an Air Cutter on that Bellsprout. Change, while she's attacking, start off with a little Mach Punch, catch that Nincada off guard. Follow that up with a Corn Slide...since..there's not many..rocks..around...and then backflip away and Double Team in the field.

Sharp Edge, Faint Attack to dodge Change and get behind him, then hit him with Gust. If he throws corn at you, see if you can blow it away, but don't make it a priority. Lastly, the rain will ruin his Double team so aim for his eyes with Metal Claw

Intro….

As the day seems to be coming to its end, we find ourselves at the old Jackson Farm, long since closure. What ever the case of its end is another story for another day, as of now this abandoned area is perfect for secluded pokemon battles. From opposite sides of the vast fields of corn, two paths are shifted about from the up coming battlers. Making his way through the clearing, Razor Leaf appears, casually brushing the clinging husks from his shoulder. Coming forth next, Darkest Light stumbles over a falling stalk but catches himself with an embarrassed grin, cursing the plant life. Lofting above the two competitors on a splintery wooden post sits a patch-worked scarecrow and upon it’s shoulders sits a trio of Murkrow. They cock their heads inquisitively at the spectacle as each end out two creatures to start….

BATTLE

Vigil takes to the sky and loops in mid-air to rocket like a missile at his Bellsprout target. Razor remained calm and stationary as she spewed a cloud of orange-red dust in a barrier around herself. Approaching on a speed tackle, the Pidgey couldn’t evade and pierced the cloud, sending the grass type reeling but leaving herself hacking and wheezing in the paralyzing veil. Change followed suit with the same idea, blinding speed attack and he raised his right fist and charged it with a golden energy. This energy caused a slight hovering effect as he launched fist first at the insect.
Calm as her partner, Sharp Edge cloaked herself in a black coating and shifted from sight. The Tyrouges fist met nothing but dust and earth, cracking the ground.

The effects of the Stun Spore are slowly taking effect as Vigil finds it hard to stay aloft, staying close to the ground. With all her strength she pushes to the sky and gives a beckoning cry to the heavens to bring forth a storm. Black clouds roll in with rapid succession and the moisture falls. Razor rises to the refreshing shower and plants her roots into the soil. A soft forest green glow envelopes her as she grows 1..2..3 times her normal size. Still searching for his enemy, now with rain to hinder him, Change is smashed by a ball of concentrated air, driving him into the mud. The insect watches the minute fighting type as he lift himself up touches the temples of his head with his hands. A pseudo psychic link is created, lifting and hurling a few corn cobs at Sharp Edge, which she stands her ground to.

Feeling the weight of the toxins the Pidgey tries to summon its gale when a soft clapping is heard, and she takes notice of Razor. She is applauding to Vigil for the refreshing down pour, giving off a soothing sonic attack. This caused Vigil to blush and bow at her performance and continue her Rain Dance, making an even worst monsoon. Change flashes white in an attempt to bide time in hiding but is foiled by his own partner’s technique as the droplet’s phase out his illusion. Left completely open, Sharp Edge charges and with a leap crashes a steel power claw across the Tyrouge’s face, temporarily blinding him…

The beating rain and cracking thunder has turned this battle into a test of endurance against the elements. Razor burrows her root like feet into the soften soil and glows a bright green, regaining her strength. In her concentration, the hypnotic link of encore is broken and the water logged pigeon rushes Razor for a speed tackle, unearthing her. Both Change and Sharp Edge take the defensive route as the insect shines and exoskeleton crackles as her body becomes dense and the fighter crosses his arms to form a green protective orb.

Bouncing back on to her vines, Razor spins like a top, spitting off a barrage of energy leaves at Change. The attack has no effect as the shield absorbs the blow. A swirling light blue wind surrounds both Sharp edge and Vigil as they leap at their respectful opponents. Change cheers on his partner which she blushes a bit from and rockets even faster to cut off the Nincada into the Scarecrow.

The 3 Murkrows wobble about and stares vengefully at the insect and attack in a mess of black feathers and beaks. As Sharp Edge is being under assault, the bell flower spins again to use the same technique as before. Vigil flaps as hard as she can, doing her best through her paralysis to create gale force winds. The leaves are dispersed in all directions to have no effect. Change rubs his eyes a bit and sees the battered Sharp Edge and delivers a volley of golden stars to slash, but do little damage to her hard shelled body. A top the Scarecrow, 5 birds of the night watch.

Why was Change Protecting against razor's attack? It was ordered to protect on the first turn, my attackk was second so it should have dropped it by then.

My theory was that when a shield is called up, the creature in question holds the shield, wasting more energy to do so, till an attack connets. If this is false, I apologize and I'll fix my mistake, but could you explain why they would drop it?

They usually use Protect for the turn in question. If it's a wasted move then it's a wasted move. Though if that's how you ref it, then I am obliged to follow.

Razor, close your eyes and use Swords Dance. When the flashy lights fade, throw out your vines and Wrap them around Vigil. No doubt it'll copy you, so quickly Slam it against the scarecrow for a bit of revenge.

Change plunges his mitts into the soft soil and retrieves a heap of dirty glop to hopefully blind him enemy. He grins mischievously and rears back to throw when a burst of holy luminance fills his slowly recovering eyes, returning them to there pain filled state. Sharp Edge sneers with glee as he watches the Tyrouge stumble about, seeing spots. Razor, being in sync with her teammate, spins rapidly, avoiding the light show and raising her physical strength. Vigil was also thrown off from the Flash and flutters about in disarray, her dance never getting the chance to begin.

Change can hardly see his hand in front of his face, let alone a target to hit with mud; he tries to listen for Razor over the storm, to no avail. He left himself completely open to be tackled from behind by a furious Sharp Edge. The power of her Frustration sent the fighter flying into the Scarecrow. While Change is mauled Vigil is choked with out remorse by the vine like feet or Razor. The Sword Dance increase is felt as her bone crackle.

The Nincada waits for the fury of feathers to die down and as the limp laying Change twitches, he is coated in a viscous burning poison which wakes him up in a painful dance. Razor ends his death grip by leaping and somersaulting to slam the bird against the chest of the dummy. The now 7 Murkrow are getting very annoyed and go for the throat as the attack the poor pidgey…

Razor, with Vigil's wing broken it's chances of flying are dulled, so take an offensive. Bullet Seed from a distance for as much as you can.

Subs: If Vigil comes in close, then Wrap it and use Leech Life to drain it of energy.

Sharp Edge, use Mind Reader to get a solid lock on Change, and throw a charged Shadow Ball at it.

Subs: If Change comes close use Mud Slap.

For both of you, if Change or Vigil swap targets, use the same attacks just on whoever comes closers to you.

Hrm, time's a wastin. Time to use this place to our advantage again.

Vigil, fold up your wing, and start off with a Sand Attack to that Nincada, stop its focus. Then fl--err hop in close to draw its fire and swat it with an Aerial Ace. Back off and hit the both of them with Swift so they get near that scarecrow. We need to stun them. Change, fake going in close so you can then flip past and score a Mach Punch on that Bellsprout as fast as you can. Get away from it and give Vigil a hand for how well she's doing. KEEP MOVING and try for a Facade on that Sprout.

Vigils useless wing is tucked under her body and she proceeds to flap her active one to kick up blinding sands. Being only done with one wing, the attack is only half effective and the speeding bullet seeds tear through the sands to pelt the bird. Changes vision impairs the direction of where he should strike. He flies off but only manages to land in the corn field. Sharp Edge laughs at the spectacle and syncs her mind with Change.

Change stumbles from the shucks and knows he must help his partner. He gives encouraging whistles and claps to his feathers friend. If only he would have worried about himself as Shadow Ball reels him back into the corn with great force. Of what she could hear, Vigil does feel more confident, despite her broke limb and hops very high and dive bombs, surrounded by light blue wind. The quickness of the attack caught Razor off guard and she is rammed away. In retaliation, the Bellsprout whips her root like feet to choke Vigil’s throat.

Change charges from the shucks again, glowing a fiery purple, for the statues effect he is weakened by. He is going to deliver the pain of his poison back to the insect. Sharp Edge is already 3 steps ahead of him though, having read his mind prior, and proceed to side step the Tyrouge and slap him in the face with blinding mud. On the other side, Razor digs the tip of his roots around Vigils neck right into it. White life energy is sapped slowly from her body and she twitches and convulses from it. The choking and life draining cuts off the ability for the bird to Swift properly…

Hrm. Things aren't looking good. But we can't give in.

Change, you need some time to sit back and relax. How are we going to do this? Ok. Start off by beating the hell out of the ground with an Earthquake. Don't worry, it won't touch Vigil. If you can sense Sharp Edge-go after him with a Facade... However, ifg Mind Reader fails, then utilize Sunny Day, at least dry up all this stinkin' rain.

Vigil, you need to get that wing fixed. Not now though. Suck Razor in with a Faint Attack, and then double up with an Air Cutter, followed by an Aerial Ace. That plant's gonna like any weather condition we throw at it, so may as well make it miserable.

The whole “lack of eyesight” is growing old to Change as he frustratingly wipes his face and raises his hands high over his head and hammers the ground. The resulting shock wave of rolling earth travels in all directions, causing Sharp Edge to protect herself in a shimmering green sphere. Razor feels the vibration and raises the gagging bird to pummel it to the muddy terrain, but Vigil acts quickly and vanishes in a puff of smoke from the Bellsprout which surprises her and leave her open to be bowled over by the Earthquake.

Change closes his burning retina and syncs his mind with the ground insect to understand her every thought process. Sharp Edge follows suit with the same tactic and both lock eyes. Vigil reappears a good distance away from her plant adversary and swipes her one good wing, sending a swift air current at Razor. She gets up from the quake only to be struck by the sharpened air.

Both Change and Sharp Edge attack, counter, dodge, counter again, and dodge some more in there furious assault. The Tyrouge continually throws glowing purple punches and kicks but the Nincada jukes and shifts under his attacks. Soon they both stop and lock eyes again, both panting heavily from the wasting of energy. A swirling sky blue wind surrounds the Pidgey and she throws herself at the fallen plant, but Razor was simply playing possum as she springs up and sprays Toxic dead in her face. The burning liquid splatters and makes her fly off course and slam in a heap…

He rushes to grabs his partner for a game winning football pass with the bird but he and Vigil are stopped in there tracks, lulled into a calming high as it seems. The rose colored mist that circles the two thanks to Razor leaves them open for a perfect double hit of Shadow Ball from Sharp Edge.

Both fly back with such great velocity that they crash through the battered scarecrow, turning it into a lifeless heap of straw and clothing. Our feathered friend and tiny fighter dig them selves out of the mess…only to be in an even BIGGER mess…surrounded on all sides by nine sneering dark buzzards. The massacre that unfolds is beyond words for this ref to do justice; bodies ripped and pulled from multiple ends, black wings smacking and deadly claws gouge. Razor stifles a shudder and lays her root to soaks in nourishment while the Nincada only watches the gore fest, not willing to distract the birds for fear of them turning on her.

The murder of Murkrow take off to circle the battle field, now searching for a new perch. Change slowly crawls from his prone position, clutching his dislocated left arm and bleeding heavily…Vigil barely squawks before passing out from lack of energy. With out the distraction of the birds to threaten her, Sharp Edge gathers a massive beach ball sized sphere of ghost energy and fire, leaving the weaken Tyrouge to be swallowed by the blast…All is silent in the waves of corn as the Bellspourt and Insect watch intently for any movement. A soft coughing catches both their ears and Change groans trying to work his way to his feet…but the poison in his veins wins out, doubling him over…

I pronounce Razor Leaf the winner of this battle, to clear up any problems poisoning played a big part in Team Darkestlight fainting, as well as the beating they took from 9 birds, the Shadow Ball strike and over all pain and fatigue.

I’m not that sure about the points systems but correct me if I’m wrongs
4 Pokes were used so that means that Razor and I get 4 points and DL receives 2?

O.o. Only one thing. I was slightly confused when you said they both got knocked back by the Double Shadowball. Im assuming Change already had Vigil so when Change flew bqck, Vigil flew back as well.
