October Pokemon Contest: Final up

Alrighty then, Contest have been established and I...Vermillion (Or just V-Mil for short ^_^) am in charge for this month. I hold your appeals in the the palm of my hands..I can crush your hopes with 2 numbers a a decimal point, I am DrUnK WIth POWEEEERR!!!1111oneone....*a-hem* Play nicely and always be a good sport ^_^. Here's the rules:

This time we have only 8 Coordinators. If you have participated in a contest before, I urge you to try with a different Pokemon. Remember Contests do not count as EXP for a Pokemon to evolve.

We start with eight competetors. Each type out their appeal (in an order decided by me once I have all 8 entrants) and the top Four will go into the second round. They then do appeals again, careful not to repeat their appeals, to decide which two go on to the finals.

The finals will be a normal 5 round match. Healthiest at the end wins.

The winner will receive 4 points, as will the ref. The winner will also get a ribbon for their sig/website and be put into the Hall of Fame.

Firstly use an eerie cosmic power! Next charge up a shadow ball, and when it is at its fullest, fire a psybeam through the center of the shadow ball (while still in your grip)

Cosmic power -- shadow ball -- psybeam (pierce the shadow ball).

Vaka! Lets show those judges what you've got! For your first move, use a Fire Blast, and just as it spreads out fully into the air, let off a Smog attack to coat the fire with dust. Finish off with a Swift to make a circle of pretty stars around the Fire Blast.

After careful observation of the last contest, I believe we have a good chance at winning this, Shelly.

Okay Shelly, start off with a strong Blizzard attack surrounding your entire body (stay in the eye of the storm, you should be safe!) Next fire a colorful [b]Aurora Beam straight into the Blizzard... the colorful beams will spiral up through the blizzard, making a very colorful funnel indeed. Finally, this last step is very important; use the strongest [b]Icy Wind you can muster to blow the same direction the Blizzard is blowing. The ice shards from Icy Wind should cut through the Blizzard, picking up the color from the Blizzard/Aurora Beam combo and firing a dazzling array of colorful ice shards in all directions before finally dying down. Many ice shards should stick to the ceiling, and once the Blizzard dies down, the colorful ice shards should begin to melt, causing droplets of liquid color to fall to the ground and dissapear.

Okay, Tap-Tap, this might be a tad difficult, but let's do our best.

Start with Beat Up to summon some clones to the field. Next, use Double Team to clone 'em all again. Finally, use Pursuit and chase after each other in a circle, faster and faster, gradually closing the circle, until you all converge on one spot.

Okay Lady Harker, start off by creating a Substitute, then lift it into the air with a Whirlwind. When it reaches it's highest point, fly underneath and use Air Cutter while spinning to break the Substitute and reapear to the audience.

ok cam lets try this, fire out bullet seeds then quicly set them on fire with dragon breath then before they rech the ground hit them all with an aerial ace.

Ok Staryu, I'd like you to use a Rapid Spin + Bubblebeam combo, to create a vortex of bubbles, and finish by using Thunder to pop them all!

Leap up and pull off an Ice Punch hook to spin yourself around in the air. While you are in the air, use a [b]Psychic to create a beautiful crystalline display and finish with a Thunder shimmering from yourself to complete that etereal image.

Appeal Stage: Part 1

On this chilly fall day, trainers of all ages, classes, and styles from around to globe have conspired here. Why you ask? To express the beauty of the creatures known as “Pokemon”. 8 Contestants are here to show there stuff, so without any delay.

Entering from stage left, Chris smiles and waves to the crowd as his ground/psychic floats soundlessly behind him. With a snap of his fingers, the Claydol takes center stage and glows with a holy luminance as heavenly light shrouds it. In complete contrast to the aura it’s created, a ball of solid negativity forms above Claydol, and grows to the size of a beach ball . Tilting upwards, a rainbow beam escapes one of its many eyes, piercing the orb and detonating it into a rain of every color imaginable….

Next is Weasel Overload with her trust worthy Houndour Vaka, things are gonna heat up now! (Weak pun intended ^_^) Standing on his hind legs, Vaka exhales a burst of flames which slowly shapes into the Kanji for “Big”. As it gently rises up the Rottweiler expels a thick stream of smoke with surrounds the Fireblast giving it a ghostly appearance as it sets in mid air. Finishing out, Vaka runs in circles around her Appeal spewing golden stars which encircles for a beautiful contrast to the darkness and flame.

Yero and his Kubuto enter the fray next, after diligently studying past Contest he is now ready to compete. Plopping on center stage, Shelly raises up to reveal his piercing red eyes which color over to an icy blue as a twister of winters fury rises from the fossils shell. Shelly remains motionless in the center as he gathers the ice energy of Aurora Beam and releases it to be caught in the cyclone of ice. The growing beauty of a rainbow tornado is all most to much as yet another blast of icy air fills the funnel. The crystal shards bounce the colorful display to the ceiling, creating a mock aurora borealis…

Tap Tap the Diglett and TBA nervously step into the lime light and go into there routine. The mole calls upon shadow clones, ala Naruto style, creating 4 black copies of himself, all with menacing red eyes. Following the same route, more doubles are created, circling Tap Tap in a dazzling display of choreography. The all suddenly converge in the circle, in an insane kamikaze maneuver, bashing into each other in a domino like effect to leave only Tap Tap alone to bow…

The massive bat of Razor Leaf spreads her wings and glows with a golden light. The golden energy leaves from her body and shapes into a “doll” of sorts. To the audience, it appears that Lady Hawker simply glowed and stopped, which while pretty, puzzled them. Suddenly, a blast of air sends the “Golbat” Skyward, as if by psychic means and she flips out of control until she is all most touching the ceiling. As if by some unholy magic, Hawker is ripped to shreds and burst into the same golden energy, the crowd gasps in horror, could this be the end!? No! The bat, in a feat that would suit Chris Angel of MindFreak, spirals out of her own destroyed body to land gracefully, wow, what a trick!

A wily Treeko leaps from his coordinators shoulder and in mid air rains yellow energy seeds. The lizard land staring up at the falling debris and puffs out a blast of pure draconic might and fury. The grass attack falls through the steam of blue and green flames to be smacked about by the speeding Cam, who is surrounded by sky blue swirling wind.

“Hyah” says the Staryu as it enters as a flying saucer and stop in mid air levitating. It spins faster and faster and discharges from it points millions of foamy bubbles. They all form into a swirling cloud of soap and comences to funnel cloud down in a tornado style. If a bubble twister wasn’t enough of a storm show, thunder booms and lightening crackles with in the cyclone. It flickers from the storm and the soap bounces the light brilliantly until the concentration of the attack explodes, ceasing the sudsy maelstrom. Bubbles rocket in all directions.

Finally, Chris W and his faithful Elekid saunter in, beaming with pride. From years of video game playing, an appeal is born! Crouching a bit, Elekid launches upwards, shouting in his native tongue as what I can guess is “Shoryuken!!” amassing ice energy in his rising club like arm. He spins in a beautiful arch as the psychic abilities come forth the spread the ice particles in wavy ribbon sparkles. Feeling the surge of this maneuver, Elekid jolts and buzzes with glee, send forth jagged sparks of electricity. He land in a stylish pose on one knee, stands and bows martial artist style…

Wow, we made it, Shelly! We're not through yet, though, just one more round of beauty!

Suspense is the key! Start off by using Double Team, creating a very large circle of clones around you. Next, have your clones dig underground. Once they are a couple of feet under, have your clones start to move in a circular pattern underground, around the spot you stand on. Finally, focus yourself and all of your clones to use Ice Beam; I want you, the real Kabuto who is still standing in the middle, to fire straight up, and your clones to fire up out from under the ground and leaning towards the center, still circling. All of the Ice Beams should meet about ten or so feet above ground level.

1) Double Team (clones encircle Shelly)
2) The clones dig, then begin to circle around Shelly while still underground.
3) Ice Beam (Shelly fires straight up; clones fire from underground leaning towards center, still circling, so their Ice Beam's meet about ten feet up.)

OK Lady Harker, great job, lets see what we can do to impress.. first fly over and kill Andrew so he doesn't go into the final round again... you don't want to do that, fine.

Right, start off with a slow Shadow Ball, send it up above you so it rises gradually. Now bathe the ball in the light of a Confuse Ray and finish by shattering the ball with a well aimed Razor Wind

Stop being so mean Razor Leaf, I'm really sick! Bacterial Blood Infection is poisoning me, and I've been diagnosed with glandular fever as well.

Staryu, I'd like you to focus a Swift Attack into one big Star, then, freeze it in mid air with Blizzard and finish off by using a Psychic to Hover it around you!

Pull off an enormous Zap Cannon flying straight upwards. Strike the Zap Cannon with a powerful Fire Punch and use Psychic to pick up those electro-fire charges resulting afterward to create two intertwining circles abovehead!

Appeal Stage: Part 2

Although we are running a little bit over schedule, rest assured we will perseveres!

The semi final kick off with Yero and his fossil pokemon. Shelly centers herself and flashes white to reveal a ring of 10 carbon copies appear. As the Kabuto remains in the middle as a master conductor of her troupe, the doubles plunge into the dirt and created a soil halo. From 10 points under the stage, icy rays converge into each other in a criss crossing hologram. Shelly readies her own Ice Beam and launches it in the center, performing an aquamarine ribbon dance.

Lady Harker, coming off her impressive 1st round appeal, flaps onto the scene and tilts on her axis. From her massive jaws an onyx orb grows to great proportions and glides gently up, and without missing a beat a shimmering ghostly gray light encircles the ball. The magnificent display if light and shadow are abruptly ended by a swirling updraft of hardened air, bursting the attack into a spinning vortex of dark and light.

From the over sized sea stars jewel core, a massive neon orange star ejects from it. Twice the size of its own star body, the Staryu’s core glows ice blue and releases a burst of shards and snow, chilling the Swift the same icy color and covering it in icicles. Using Psychic manipulation Staryu levitates both itself and the star and rises high, circling the finished masterpiece around itself.

Finally, Elekid enters with a determined 100 yard stare and charges a vivid green electricity. He aims his barrel like arms upwards and launches the jagged bolt, and as it sails, Elekid follows the attack with the familiar Shoryuken upper cut, blazing with flames. He swings and mixes the two attacks in a swirling mass of elemental powers. Landing, his psychic powers kick in and control the two attacks to link beautifully as spinning rings of fire and sparks.

The timer above the arena chimes the beginning of the final round. Although we are in November, we will still press on and finish this contest out! The tiny spark plug pokemon flexes his beefy body and gathers a golden energy which is his very own life force. The Golbat knows this technique very well and proceeds to spit slanderous words to coax a fight from Elekid. The tactic succeeds as Elekid grinds his teeth with hatred at Lady Hawker, dropping the aura.

A cackle from the poison type begins the process of her own “Doll” as she quick charges a carbon copy. Elekids blind rage from the instigating has left him at a disadvantage as he grips her with his mind and tries to rip her in half, wings 1st. The true Hawker hovers above with silent vigil.

Elekid is proud of his achievements as it seems his enemy was mortally wounded from the yanking; she’s just laying them motionless. In any case this is his moment to strike with a lashing whip of electricity which hammers it mark and deep fries the bat. Suddenly the enemy explodes into a familiar golden light and the hypnotic haze the spark plug was under is broken. Lady Hawker screeches from above causing Elekid to stare straight up…into a waterfall of sulfuric toxicants. Elekid howls in burning pain and rubs his face and eyes raw to get rid of the bio hazardous waste. Hawker cackles with glee…

Just to mention, it's 'Harker' not 'Hawker'. She's named after Mina Harker from LXG (aka the Vampire).

OK Harker, looks like Elekid's got his eyes ruined again (see a pattern emerging here Chris? lol), so lets take advantage. Get in there quick with a Steel Wing. Don't give him a chance to attack, hit him again with Poison Fang and finish with another Steel Wing

Elekid does his best to calm himself from the poison that assaulting his nervous system. He attempt to hide among clones, splitting into 3, but Lady Harker swoops down and hardens her wings to a metallic state and swipes. She manages to swing wide enough to take out both clones to leave Elekid defenseless.

The burning of the spark plugs skin and eyes die off a bit and he watches the circling bat. Harker dive bombs Elekids, her maw gapping open VERY wide with her teeth dripping venom. Elekid bide his time...waiting for the right moment….BAM! Electricity light up the Golbat like a Christmas tree and repels her into the adjacent wall.

Lady Harker pulls her self from the wall and glares at Elekid and tries to fly with great speed to deliver more steal justice, but all she is met with is another jagged bolt with her name on it, sending her back into her original spot in the cracked wall. Elekid squeals with joy but that ends as he doubles over from the poison.

Harker heaves herself from the wall and gains altitude watching the Elekid. The little spark plug takes a defensive stance and gerates 4 copys for a total of 5 “bodies” on the floor. The Golbat’s eyes burn with a black aura and this same aura wraps around Elekid, causing all his doubles to vanishes and reappears around Lady Hawker, except now being giant bats.

His own tactics used against him, Elekid fires a charged bolt at a random figure, hitting a clone and missing completely. This is the perfect opportunity for Golbat to wash Elekid in ghostly confusion. He stumbles about drunkenly.

The mental state of Elekid is less than stellar as he is having a battle with himself to see straight. He charges for the Shockwave but only manages a tiny “fwip” of energy, which is mocked greatly by Lady Harker. Harker spews a glob of explosive poison power which strike Elekid with a devastating blast, sending him reeling…
